If enough pieces fall into place in the Twin Cities (including, as best we can tell, uncovering a secret code in Kevin Love's tweets), both could technically be scheduled for Oct. 5. By roughly a three-to-one margin, SportsNation --including voters in Minnesota -- thinks the football game would be a bigger deal. Perhaps that's because despite sticking around the pennant race and producing an MVP favorite, the Twins haven't climbed higher than No. 14 in SportsNation's Power Rankings since July 6.
