If you were a Minnesota sports fan, would you be more excited about the Twins playing game No. 163, a one-game AL Central tiebreaker against the White Sox, or Brett Favre playing his first game against the Packers?

If enough pieces fall into place in the Twin Cities (including, as best we can tell, uncovering a secret code in Kevin Love's tweets), both could technically be scheduled for Oct. 5. By roughly a three-to-one margin, SportsNation --including voters in Minnesota -- thinks the football game would be a bigger deal. Perhaps that's because despite sticking around the pennant race and producing an MVP favorite, the Twins haven't climbed higher than No. 14 in SportsNation's Power Rankings since July 6.

They should host a WWF event in the Metrodome on October 5th as well, just to make it interesting...

Hmmmm, the biggest MNF game in a lot of years...or a tie-breaker between two mediocre MLB teams to see who gets beat in the first round? Tough choice, but I can see why the NFL said they are not changing plans...
