Making Sense Of Sunday

Imagine at the end of preseason if someone predicted these five things:

1. The 3-11-1 Cincinnati Bengals of '08 (who agreed to do a reality TV show during their preseason), will beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.

2. Josh McDaniels' coach approval rating will be 88 percent.

3. Rex Ryan will become Bill Belichick 2.0 and the Jets will not only be over .500, but will start 3-0. This will all happen with a rookie QB -- and one that went to USC.

4. The Titans will be 0-3 and fans will start making comments like "It's Vince Young's time in Tennessee."

5. Someone will lose to the Lions -- and it won't be the Rams.

You probably would have asked if this person was mentally stable. And yet that's where we stand after three weeks of NFL '09 action. Which NFL team's record is the most surprising after three weeks of play? Vote below!

Lions

Good thing I was sitting down when the Lions-Redskins final score was posted; I nearly fainted.

Seahawks

Seahawks fans don't feel bad about your team; you could be the Redskins, Browns, Rams or have JaMarcus Russell as your starting quarterback.
