Don't Remember The Titans

There are some games, as a fan, you must mentally block out of your mind for the rest of eternity. Sunday's game, for the Titans, was one of them. Countless members of SportsNation hit the Titans-Patriots game board to sound off on the brutal 59-0 Titans loss, the Patriots' "classlessness" (for running up the score) followed by the Titans' "classlessness" (for playing so terribly). Yet one fan looked on the bright side:

The positives for the Titans today: Vince Young threw for more yards than Kerry Collins (0 to -7), Chris Johnson had over 100 rushing yards, we didn't fumble the ball seven times (six), and I got to look at Jeff Fisher's beard for three hours. -- UPS Wyatt

That's the spirit! And while we're at it, one last positive for the Titans: A majority of SportsNation says the Titans will win a game before the Rams.

Patriots

I'm a Titans fan and have no problem with what the Patriots did. They played the game and we could not stop them.

Running up the score is cool to a certain extent (unless a starter gets hurt in the process), but going for it on 4th down when you're up by what 49 points is pretty lame.
