Now that the BCS standings are out there competing with the AP rankings, there's a mild pot of controversy brewing. Florida is No. 1 according to the BCS, but Alabama takes the crown in the Associated Press rankings. Even us Bama fans acknowledged it (and hey I admit I even drank a beverage for Tebow after they beat us last year). However, the BCS rankings are supposed to be about this year. It's about what college football teams have done this year. Which team at this point of the season has been the most stout? If we can't have a true playoff system, then you have to put the 2 most deserving teams in. How do you figure who is most deserving? It's not the design of the jerseys, not who's most popular, not the color of the team's grass, not who won last year ... it has to be decided based on results." Read the full post.

At one point, it looked like the game was out of reach for ND--they were down about three touchdowns. But they were able to come back and, needing one touchdown, get into the red zone. They just weren't able to make one more play, despite Clausen's friends over at USC trying to help with penalties. But they didn't get blown out, they didn't quit and they came back in the 4th quarter like they always do." Read the full post.
