Did you know the Redskins have played a winless team in every game so far this season? Admittedly, their first week's opponent, the Giants, hadn't actually played a game yet, but that doesn't change the fact that their opponent's winning percentage this season has been .000 plus however many zeroes you care to add. Unfortunately, the Redskins have managed exactly two wins against this cavalcade of mediocrity, with their latest embarrassment coming at the hands of the Chiefs.

All of this has fans calling for coach Jim Zorn's head. One only has to look at his coach ratings page to see the long and short of it. At this time last year, 86 percent of SportsNation approved of the job Zorn was doing as head coach. Today? A whopping 9 percent. As if that weren't a bad enough sign, Zorn was recently relieved of playcalling duties by the Redskins' top brass. We challenge anyone to see a silver lining in that dark cloud for Zorn. According to SportsNation, it's almost impossible for a coach to command respect after such a public dis.

You know, it's not surprising to have a head coach not calling the plays. CBS put up a graphic showing which head coaches called offensive plays and there were like 11 and now 10. I'm pretty sure that most of the super bowl champs have had head coaches not calling their offensive plays. This isn't necessarily a bad thing as it could turn the Redskins around if they get Sherman Lewis, who probably knows what he's doing when he's calling plays.

Now WHY would anybody in the front office have to relay anything about football mechanics to the chief mechanic? Zorn's days are numbered! This is the evidence of it when pencil pushers start going down to the field to tell the coach what to do. Zorn is history and he knows it now. It's a shame; Jim Zorn is a nice guy. And we all know where nice guys and gals end up!

The Redskins are an absolute joke, and it begins from the top down. Daniel Snyder only cares about making money, and Vinny Cerrato is the worst GM ever. The team is HORRIBLE at developing talent, as they have two WRs drafted highly in Malcolm Kelly and Devin Thomas that haven't improved one bit. Their offensive line is in shambles, Clinton Portis is hurt, and DeAngelo Hall is the most overrated player in the league. All that said, this all started when Daniel Snyder didn't give the head coaching job to Gregg Williams. He was supposed to be Joe Gibbs' successor, but again, Snyder dropped the ball. He hired Zorn as a Offensive Coordinator, then gave him the Head Coach position by default.
