Advice for Sam Bradford: Go easy on that shoulder for a bit, huh?

After injuring his shoulder for the second time this season, Bradford will reportedly resort to surgery and will likely never play for Oklahoma again. SportsNation was a bit worried about Bradford's potentially-bright NFL future after the first injury, and thought he was out of the Heisman race, but the second injury is having more dire consequences. Even before the surgery, SportsNation thought Bradford should end his Oklahoma career, and now that he's going under the knife, he's dropped out of the top spot on Mel Kiper's big board.

I am still surprised at how many people that think they know what is best for Bradford. Don't you think a kid as bright as him can make his own decisions? if all of you that know what is best for the players then why are you not working as an agent for them or something?

There was absolutely no reason for him to return to college . The reason young men and women further their education is to get a better high paying job after they graduate! Bradford was already guaranteed about 30 million from being the top pick most likely in the NFL! Going back to college and risking an injury would seem to be an ignorant decision I think.

Finally he does the right thing for his career and sits out! He pushed himself way too far coming back so early.
