Florida and Alabama continued their war for the top spot in the BCS standings with their second consecutive week of nailbiters. Florida survived a challenge from Mississippi St., while Alabama had to block a field goal in the closing seconds to hold off Tennessee. They'll have their hands full in getting past undefeated Iowa, which moved to the fourth spot in the standings, particularly since Alabama will take on No. 9 LSU next week. The Tigers, according to our resident BCS expert Brad Edwards, have a legitimate shot at a BCS championship berth.

Crazy002: "After another disappointing Saturday performance, like most Gators fans, I'm frustrated to say the least about this offense. Addazio's first season as the offensive coordinator has been a disaster. The predictable offensive play calls make me scratch my head every week. There's no wonder why SEC defensive coordinators are making our offense look anemic. Let's see& on first and second down is either a dive play up the middle, Tebow keeper up the middle, or a possible option. Third down is relegated to a bubble screen to Hernandez or Tebow scrambling around trying to make a play before throwing into coverage or taking it himself. It's not hard to see after watching these seven games that there is no diversity in play calling making our halfbacks and Tebow vulnerable to these SEC hard-nosed defenses." Read the full post.

1canesfan4life: "Coaching cost Miami as much as the lack of execution on the field. Delay of game penalties and wasting time outs is clearly on the coaches. Lack of discipline on the defensive line is reflective of coaching. Really how hard is it for a defensive lineman to wait for the ball to move before jumping across the line of scrimmage? Come on, it's not like being an offensive lineman, and having to keep still until the ball is snapped. With all of the action last night, Miami was in fact only one 3rd down conversion away from taking a win rather than losing in overtime." Read the full post.
