Favre Returns "Home"

It was the game that Packers fans never thought they'd live to see. Brett Favre playing at Lambeau Field against the Packers in a Vikings uniform (of all things!). As chilling as that scenario might be for cheesehead fans to digest (still), it happened on Sunday. And before the kickoff, SportsNation stood by the Packers' starting QB of two years, Aaron Rodgers, and said Ted Thompson made the right decision to move past the Brett Favre era after retirement numero uno.

But is your opinion still the same after the Vikings' Week 8 defeat of the Packers? With Favre's new team rising to 7-1 and his old team falling to 4-3, do you still believe Ted Thompson made the correct move? Vote below!

Patriots

Favre: 12 TDs, 3 INTs, Rodgers: 11 TDs, 2 INTs. Look they're both good QBs in my opinion. I really don't think you can blame the Packers or Ted Thompson for going with Rodgers. If they did not start him he just would have been wasted.

Bengals

Aaron Rodgers is a very good quarterback and played well today, but Favre brings proven confidence to the huddle, and that was the difference in the game. The "old" man can still sling it and the Packers made a mistake.

    • Matthew (Tempe)Yeah, they held him to only 150 yards. What an effort.
