    NFL with Gary Horton
    • Gary HortonOne more thought from the weekend. It's amazing to me how many trap games we have in the NFL. Where superior teams aren't ready to play this late in the season? Dallas almost lost to Washington. Kansas City over Pittsburgh. I guess it makes for parity and balance, but right now, it looks like we have three terrific teams with the Saints, Colts and Vikings and two really good teams not far behind, with the Pats and Chargers. After that, it's anybody's guess.
    • joe (alaska)what is wrong with the broncos
    • Gary HortonWell, there's a marriott of problems. Obviously, the offense was terrible until Orton played yesterday. But I think the real problem is on defense. They're a small-ish run defense and I think they're starting to wear down. Physical run offenses are beating them up. They're a team that lacks confidence. They're starting to unravel and I don't think they know how to come out of this. They're probalby not as good as we thought they were but they're also not as bad as they're playing. To turn this around, Orton must be healthy and they must stretch the field more on offense. We're probably looking at a .500 team in reality.
    • Pete (NC)Every week the Colts and Saints win, we get closer to an 18-0 Saints vs 18-0 Colts Super Bowl. How epic would that game be? And who wins?
