Are you afraid of the dark? Not knowing what lurks in darkness might be the root of such fears -- and the genesis of a lot of really lousy horror movies -- but could knowing exactly what's coming make the dark even more terrifying?

The lights briefly went out at Wrigley Field during Wednesday night's game between the Cubs and Dodgers because of a nearby fire. Only some of the lights went out as Cubs starter Tom Gorzelanny released a pitch, the rest of them following soon thereafter, but it's tough to imagine a scarier sight than seeing a pitcher release a fastball -- and then seeing only complete darkness.

Tough, but not impossible. We got to wondering about what would be the scariest time for the lights to go out. The effectively wild Ubaldo Jimenez releasing a 98 mph fastball? Just as you catch a glimpse of Ray Lewis coming free on a blitz? Right when Manny Pacquiao's right starts to move forward? What would scare you most? Rank 'Em!
