Still contenders?

Losing to the Clippers twice in the preseason was bad enough, but now the Lakers will have to deal with a wrist injury to Kobe Bryant. He's rather obviously the heart of the team, so this could be disastrous for the Lakers' title hopes.

Kobe's future?

Bryant is no longer a young man, and the fact that he started in the NBA so early means he has a lot of miles on his legs. Is this injury the beginning of the end?
