Today's story: Pittsburgh Steelers have decided not to keep veteran receiver Hines Ward.

• rorywalund: "Dont care what anyone says. In his prime any fan of any team would have loved to Hines on their roster. Maybe a few cheap shots, but no other reciever in footall over the last twenty years played as physical and hard as Hines Ward has. I would take a hundred Hines Ward's over one Terelle Owens, Randy Moss, Ochocinco. One of the greatest Steelers to ever put on the uniform in my opinion and I myself will be sad to see him go. Great career Hines!"
• blong4133: "This really upsets me. I get that the Steelers have cap issues, and Ward is getting up in age, but it just seems wrong to turn Hines away after all he's done for the franchise. He can still play a valuable role in the team. As a life-long Steeler fan, this is a sad day I was hoping would never come. Thank you Hines for all the awesome memories"
