Assuming the NCAA tournament happens every year until infinity, it's nigh-inevitable that a 16-seed will defeat a 1-seed in the Round of 64. It's just math, you know? It's just that it might not happen anytime soon. Take yesterday's controversial matchup between Syracuse and UNC Asheville. With the Orange up three points in the final minute, an out-of-bounds call that would have given UNC Ashville the ball was instead called in favor of Syracuse. Needless to say, the college basketball world is up in arms, but is it much ado about nothing?

Was the call fair?

Judging by the reaction of the Bulldogs bench, the officiating would be something of a big topic of conversation coming out of this game.

Will we see an upset soon?

It feels like at least one 1-seed in each of the past few tournaments has suffered a fright at the hands of a 16-seed. Will that trend finally reach its tipping point?
