Ravens coach John Harbaugh says he doesn't care how Terrell Suggs injured his Achilles tendon in the offseason. If you were a Ravens fan, would you care?
RunUpTheScore: "Suggs on most teams is a franchise player. He's a game changer. I wouldn't want him doing anything that puts his career at risk. He's too valuable."
krzanowski3: "I just don't know what these guys can do to stay in shape without taking on a risk. Swimming and an elliptical? I would imagine your odds of suffering a catastrophic injury playing pick-up basketball are not high."
EDogg62254: "If you make your very VERY good living doing something that requires you be in your best physical shape each year (for your JOB), consciously engaging in non-job related activities that have a high physical risk factor is selfish, stupid and voids said contract."
macspak: "I would think playing basketball would be an excellent conditioning program and way to stay in shape. I have no problem if he was playing ball or hurt himself while doing so. You can pop an achilles during conditioning drills also. "
cmn2108: "Basketball = a conditioning session. At least it wasn't a skydiving or BASE jumping accident. If him playing basketball the last x amount of seasons has kept him at this level, let him do what he needs to do."
WillBrenns8: "Harbaugh is not being mean. He is simply stating to the public that there needs to be no drama and distraction about how he got his injury, but to when he will return from his injury. Suggs though is a tough player and will return if he can. He has an actual love for the game and nothing is going to stop him from playing again for the Ravens."
