Joe Maddon and Davey Johnson are having a bit of a fight over Johnson's decision to challenge Joel Peralta's glove for pine tar. Whose side are you on?

• blacksox88: "It was the right decision to call him out, but they're both cheaters. The fact that Johnson knew about the pine tar only because Peralta did the same thing when he was with the Nationals is pretty disconcerting."
• gotMonie: "Rules are rules. Even though some rules appear to be dumb they shouldn't be overlooked. Even the slightest things can affect a baseball game"
• moose_wrestler40: "I am sick of the argument that it's ok, because it's widespread. It's cheating no matter how many people are doing it. Your guy got caught. He should have known better than to use pine tar against a team he had pitched for anyhow. If you know someone is cheating - call him out."
• D.E.I.: "I understand Maddon has to protect his guys, but I think his side of the argument is a bit ludicrous. It's against the rules to use pine tar, plain and simple. You got caught, get over it. "
• garnolfini: "I thought Davey Johnson had more class than this. His lack of it is ruining what should be a feel good story about an exciting Nats team."
• dadeuces22: "So how about Davey gets suspended for the same amount of games since he knew of the pine tar in the glove, but he never said anything about it when Peralta pitched for him in 2010. "
