The Houston Rockets have reportedly offered Jeremy Lin a four-year, $30 million contract. The Knicks can offer him a slightly smaller contract, but if you were Lin, would you stick with the team that made you a star?
flan99dan: "The Knicks were waiting for someone to establish his value. Guess they should have just offered the cash right away."
nestaaali: "Jeremy Lin is NOT leaving the New York Knicks. At all. They have already said that they will match ANY offer, and seeing as though they currently don't have a PG, they will."
forleisure: "jlin is more than bball, he is a huge asset to MSG property. 35 mil is nothing compared to how much money they would generate through him. NYC will always be a big stage for NBA. It has always been $$$, not championships. As long as they have an entertaining crew they'll be fine."
MDG920: "The 30 mill price tag reflects how much Houston wants Lin, not how much Lin is really worth."
makavelion7: "I like Lin. But that's alot of money for a backup PG."
KingSugar82270: "It's not my money but I would match the offer. Lin has proven he can score and win."
