Major League Baseball is doing pretty darn well right now -- attendance is up, there are a lot of competitive pennant races ongoing, and a bevy of young stars look to be the face of the sport for many years to come. That hasn't stopped White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf from discussing contraction, however. He broached the idea of getting rid of two teams in response to a question on the possibility of international expansion. Reinsdorf didn't mention which two teams, of course -- although in 2002, he talked about contracting the Twins. Should MLB get smaller, or is there room for more franchises, whether in this country or elsewhere around the world?
