Peyton Manning has opened camp with the Denver Broncos, his first preseason outside of Indianapolis. Will he be the Peyton Manning of old, or is this the start of a downward trend?
maxfactor233: "Still trying to temper my excitement for this team until Manning plays some games and shows me he's still got it. If he's still Manning this team is going to make a strong push this year. "
NervousWreck187: "Manning will have similiar success this season as he has had in the past...Provided he doesn't get hit. "
Drrambo1: "Peyton Manning will not be the guy we knew, he will have a tough road and I suspect it wont be pretty... To make matters worse their scheduele is brutal... this man has not played in 20 months,, and has 0 athletic ability to move and protect himself"
KTrout56: "Beginning of a new era? How about we see how this all turns out before we call it an era? Could end up being a relatively short-lived anticlimactic end to a fine career."
BTurner07 "Adding a QB who hasn't played a single game for over a year, AND had multiple neck surgeries AND having no legitimate backup plan if he does get hurt doesn't seem like a great plan to me, even if it is the almighty Peyton Manning. This whole "Peyton Experiment" better pay off, or Elway will be the first one out the door."
