Neither Ryan Lochte nor Michael Phelps is covering himself in glory at these Olympics, as Lochte has managed just an individual gold and they have a team silver between them. Who has been more of a disappointment thus far?

• TreC1983: "I won't hate on his letdown of a performance so far. I'm ok with an athlete being confident in himself and saying it was his Olympics. You have to live with it when you can't back up though. Looks like he peaked last year, which was a year too early."
• KevinNYGFan: "Get off Loche's back. He won gold in the 400 IM and should not have been in the spot to anchor the 400 FR Relay - that's on Troy not Lochte. In terms of not winning a medal in the 200 Free, he JUST missed and it was against an insanely deep field."
