Tim Kurkjian has written a frankly terrifying story about getting hit by a major league fastball. Any of you who've played Little League baseball know that, when a pitcher winds up to throw, it doesn't matter if he's bringing it at 40 miles an hour or 90 -- it's scary to see a baseball coming at you and knowing you can't get out of the way. We played both Little League and Pop Warner, and we're well acquainted with getting hit very hard by things and people you'd rather not get hit by at all, but if you absolutely had to pick, which option would you be more worried about?
