Maurice Jones-Drew's holdout may have just gotten serious. After comments from Jaguars owner Shad Khan, Jones-Drew is reportedly now open to being traded. A trade would drastically affect the Jaguars' offense, as Jones-Drew's presence on the field doubled the rate at which the Jaguars scored touchdowns, but it'd be better for them to get something for him now than not have him play at all. With the regular season fast approaching, it's clear the Jaguars will have to make a decision soon.
Time to let go?
Jones-Drew has been an iconic member of the Jaguars his entire career, but it looks like he might be wearing different colors when the season starts.
Does MJD have a point?
Jones-Drew's contract was front-loaded, so the Jaguars would be getting a steal if he ends up playing for them this season.
