Josh Beckett's debut with the Dodgers was just OK -- he gave up three runs in 5 2/3 innings pitched, including a home run to lead off the game. Will he ever get his form back?
ChristmasCatReturns: "Josh Beckett imploding right on schedule. Love that brutal contract Dodgers dont'cha?"
skor57: "If only the offense would have helped him out. Not a bad outing, especially in hitter friendly Coors field. You're going to be fine big fella, don't hang your head, we just can't seem to hit from time to time, like every other day? 5 innings 3 ER, 6K's and 3 walks, isn't as bad as the final box score indicates."
7443Theresa: "Bad loss by the Dodgers today but I dont blame Beckett. I thought he pitched well in coors, just no run support"
Rinzler04ny: "Beckett is nearing the end of his prime. his mechanics and pitches don't move the way they used to even though he still has the velocity."
ElJoeMan: "Beckett has plenty of velocity, IF he worked on it and did his best to use what he has. But there you have it. Beckett just doesn't work and try his best. He goes out, throws some pitches, comes out of the game, and does it again 5 days later."
