The Heat and Blackhawks had close calls in their respective streaks -- the Blackhawks overcame a goal deficit to prevail over the Avalanche, while the Heat needed a late layup from LeBron James to take down the Magic. It seems like everything is going both teams' way, but they wouldn't have been able to get this far without being absolutely on point for a very long time. The rarity of streaks like these highlights just how difficult it is to win in pro sports -- and how difficult it is to win consistently.
There's always the danger of peaking too early, but both teams seem pretty well-suited to a long, potentially-fruitful playoff run.
The Blackhawks have the advantage of being able to lose a game during their points streak, so long as they do it in overtime.
