Things haven't gone too well for the Cavaliers during the past three seasons, so owner Dan Gilbert is hitting the reset button. The Cavs reportedly have agreed to terms on a deal to rehire Mike Brown as coach. Brown reached the Finals with Cleveland in 2007 and put together back-to-back 60-win seasons, but was fired in 2010 after the Cavs' playoff flameout. LeBron James left town shortly thereafter, and wins have been hard to come by for the Cavs ever since. So does this move put them back on the right track? And, perhaps more importantly, does it put them in the driver's seat to lure LeBron back to town in 2014?
What can Brown do for Cleveland?
Mike Brown won Coach of the Year honors with the Cavs in 2009 but was fired by the Lakers after just five games earlier this season.
