The Redskins' playoff run was derailed last season with Robert Griffin III's untimely injury, but the young quarterback says he won't put himself through a situation like that again. Griffin has vowed to remove himself from a game rather than try to play through an injury as serious as the one he suffered against the Seahawks. Football fans tend to place a certain emphasis on ''playing through pain" -- to say nothing of the players and coaches themselves -- but that belief tends to look awful hollow once you see a young superstar carted off the field with an entirely preventable injury.
