You ever screw up at work? We all have, and the next few days feel like a minefield. You don't want to screw up again, but you're so nervous and self-conscious that it's practically bound to happen. Unrelated: MLB's umpires got a bit confused after a pitching change during Thursday night's Angels-Astros game. Angels manager Mike Scioscia thought that Astros reliever Wesley Wright should have had to pitch to at least one batter after coming in to warm up, while umpires disagreed. This is a different crew from the one that made a somewhat less-than-correct call in the A's-Indians game on Wednesday, but we doubt that would have been much comfort to Scioscia if the Angels lost.
