David Ortiz should be in the twilight of his career -- sluggers with his body type don't typically have particularly lengthy careers -- but at age 37, he's as good as ever. He's starting to accumulate a pretty reasonable Hall of Fame case -- more than 400 home runs, several years in which he featured in the MVP race, and one of the most stellar postseason resumes this side of Mariano Rivera. SweetSpot's David Schoenfield doesn't quite have Ortiz in the Hall, but he could see Big Papi enshrined in Cooperstown if he reaches certain statistical milestones. If Ortiz keeps hitting like he has, the Hall might have to start sizing him up for a plaque.
