Birdman returns to the Heat

Chris Andersen's always been a visible presence on the court, but his performance in the playoffs last season made him nearly a household name. Andersen, who shot an astounding 81 percent from the field in the postseason, re-signed with the Heat on Wednesday for a one-year deal worth $1.7 million. He might have gotten more elsewhere, but clearly the Birdman has made his nest in Miami. We sincerely apologize for the previous sentence. We couldn't resist.
