At 2:50 in the first round, Rodriguez (24-0, 16 KO) scored a TKO of Denis Grachev to win the Monaco Million Dollar Super Four final in Monte Carlo. ESPN.com boxing writer Dan Rafael called the win "the most impressive performance" of Rodriguez' career and moved him up to No. 8 in Rafael's divisional rankings.
Rodriguez turned pro in 2008, winning eight fights in his first year as a pro and 13 fights over the course of his first two years.
