Pacers add Luis Scola

After losing to the Heat in seven games in the Eastern Conference finals, the Pacers were looking to close the gap between themselves and the back-to-back NBA champions. They took a step in that direction Saturday, acquiring forward Luis Scola from the Suns for two players and a lottery-protected first-round draft pick. While Phoenix continues its rebuilding efforts, Scola gives the Pacers a rugged forward who has averaged 14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the NBA and won an Olympic gold medal with Argentina in 2004.
