Did Jon Lester cheat in Game 1?

During Game 1 of the World Series, Cardinals minor league pitcher Tyler Melling tweeted out a photo of Jon Lester that focused on a green spot on the inside of Lester's glove. Melling's tweet suggested the substance could be Vaseline. In addition to the photo, a Vine video has since emerged that shows Lester rubbing his fingers on the area in question.
