Spartans, Jayhawks win on big night

The Freshman Show is over. And boy, did the stars not disappoint. Julius Randle scored 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the opener. Jabari Parker also scored 27 and grabbed nine boards in the second game. Andrew Wiggins had himself a game in that one, too, tallying 22 points and 10 rebounds. But only one of the three emerged victorious, with Wiggins' Kansas Jayhawks beating Parker's Duke Blue Devils 94-83, while Randle's Kentucky Wildcats fell to the Michigan State Spartans 78-74.
