Craig Haubert
  (2:59 PM)

Welcome everyone -- we are giving some love to the big guys in the trenches today. Top ESPN 150 linemen Dann O'Neill and Tyler Love will be stopping by. O'Neill will be up first and Tyler will join us about 3:15 EST. So get those questions in and lets get started.

Rick, NY

Dann - glad to have you aboard -- have the Michigan coaches talked to you about playing right away and are they looking at you as a left or right tackle?

Craig Haubert
  (3:02 PM)

They haven't really talked to me that much. they want me to focus on my senior season.

Bill, Texas

Dann who are you trying to recruit to Michigan any big names you think you can sway?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:03 PM)

I haven't really gotten into that, but it is something i would like to help with.

west olive, MI

dan, what is ur favorite time of year and why

Dann O'Neill
  (3:04 PM)

Summer and the fall, it is when we get into preactice and then into games in the fall

Jesse, Detroit

I heard you are an all-state wrestler --Do you think helps your game or hurts you? What benefits have you seen from wrestling?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:06 PM)

Being a wrestler really helps. You really have to be athletic. Wrestling is one of those sports where its a tough six minutes with no easy way out. it has helped me become more athletic. It has also helped with my flexibility.

Jon Ravik, Ann Arbor

Why'd you commit so early?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:08 PM)

I realized that you can't get better than Michigan. It helps getting all the pressure of the recutiing process off of you It allows me to focus more on helping my team duriong the season.

Jon, Ann Arbor

I've eard you're 6'5, 6'6, 6'7 and 6'8 ... everybody has a different size for you. How big are you actually?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:08 PM)

I just measured in at 6'8 290 lbs during my most recent physical.

Burr (NJ)

Dann, any other schools still trying to recruit you or have the phone calls stopped?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:10 PM)

I still get a ton of mail, but I dont really get any phone calls or text messages.

Topher, MI

Dann, How excited are you for Sam McGuffie committing to MI?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:11 PM)

I wasn't really expecting a commit from him so early. I watched some of his highlight films and I was impressed with how how quick and strong he is.

Jon, Ann Arbor

Your brother plays at Western Michigan ... ever think of playing there -- side by side?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:13 PM)

Before I got noticed, I was hoping to maybe get a scholarship down there. that would have been the coolest thing in the world. I kind of wish he went to Michigan now.

Burr (NJ)

What are your thoughts on the text messaging ban?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:14 PM)

I can call my coaches any time i want so it's not really a big deal to me. When I was being recruited I had to get a different text message plan for my cell phone.

Tom, New Jersey

What current commits have you struck up the best friendships with so far?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:15 PM)

Eliot Mealer and I are friends on facebook. We go back and forth all the time. I talk with Mike Martin. We met at wrestling championships. All the recruits I know are are good guys.

Jerrygoat, Ann Arbor

Dan, is there a top tackle, college or pro, that you would compare yourself to?

Dann O'Neill
  (3:17 PM)

I love the way Jake Long and D'Brickashaw Ferguson play. I watch them and try to learn the most from them. They are both excellent at what they do.

  (3:18 PM)

Dann had to run, and we appreciate all the questions. We are getting Tyler Love on the phone right now, so keep the questions coming. Thanks.

John (Orlando)

Tyler, with so many committed players still taking visits, will you take a visit to Gainesville or Athens during the season?

  (3:19 PM)

I will not take a visit to any other place except Alabama.

John (Orlando

Tyler, What was it that put Bama above the Gators? Were the Gators your second choice?

  (3:20 PM)

The Gators were second. I wanted to stay near home. Florida is too far away for me.

Tyler, Bama

TYler what commits are you working on getting for Bama?

  (3:21 PM)

Julio Jones, Arthur Brown, Star Jackson just to name a few.

Bill, New york

Tyler who do most compare your game to?

  (3:22 PM)

Chris Samuels

Chris (Orlando, FL)

Why is it that so many recruits from Alabama are timid about leaving the state, Tallahassee isn't too far ;o)

  (3:23 PM)

Players from the state of Alabama feel pressure to stay from the fans.

Jimmy, Wisconsin

What is Nick Saban like? He seems to get a bad rap.

  (3:24 PM)

Coach Saban is a great coach. He can get a after a player and bring him back up. He shoots you straight.

Chris, Tenn.

What rivarly game do you most look forward to playing in Tenn or Auburn? Did you grow up a Bama fan?

  (3:25 PM)

I grew up a Bama fan. And I am looking forward to playing against Auburn as a big rivalry game.

What Bama recruit are you most excited to play with?

  (3:26 PM)

Burton Scott

Chris (Orlando, FL)

Trust me, the FSU fans would love you just as much as the 'Bama fans. It's a great place to be. How much consideration did you give FSU?

  (3:27 PM)

I gave a FSU a lot of considertion becasue of their coaching staff. FSU is just too far away. I didn't really get a chance to go down there too much. But they will have a great run in the near future.

Bill, Orlando

You are playing in the ESPN All-Star game. What are you looking forward to most? who are you looking to hang with and/or meet?

  (3:29 PM)

I am looking forward to it. I am good friends with EJ Manuel and Burton Scott. I want to meet AJ Green, Julio Jones and Will Hill.

Rich, Birmingham

Are you still getting letters and attention from other schools now that you committed?

  (3:29 PM)

I still do. Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma especially.

Jimmy, South Bend

What do you feel you need to imporve on most to get ready to play in the SEC?

  (3:30 PM)

Definitely my strength. And also I need to get ready for the speed of the game and more of a mean streak.

Bob, Mobile, AL

How big are you, Dann O'Neill said he is 6'8 290 that is big - are you bigger?

  (3:31 PM)

6'8 280. So I am not heavier than him.

Tyler Love
  (3:32 PM)

Thanks for all the questions.

Craig Haubert
  (3:35 PM)

Thanks to Tyler and Dann for stopping by. The Moderator was hitting the wrong button, but that was Tyler answering those questions. I apologize for the mix up.

Craig Haubert
  (3:35 PM)

Give me a second and will jump into some of your questions

Sal (New Haven, CT)

I would like to see ND land a RB in this class - Do you see them landing one of Cyrus Gray, Ryan Williams or Jonas Gray?

Craig Haubert
  (3:38 PM)

No Shock plenty of ND questions. Sal -- of the three you list I think the guy the Irish have the best shot with is Cyrus Gray. That being said I still think C. Gray is still a bit of a long shot -- he still has several schools listed as favorites.

Jimmy (New York, NY)

Does ND have a legit shot to land one of: Jonathon Baldwin, Brice Butler or Mike Floyd?

Craig Haubert
  (3:41 PM)

lets take another ND question -- better shot for ND with this group. I think Butler is out -- but i think they have an outside shot with Baldwin and the best bet of the group may be Floyd. ND has had success at his HS before and he is a big receiver that looks to fit well in that offense. So probably one of the three and maybe two.

Ben (Columbus)

Is Terrelle Pryor favoring the Buckeyes right now? When do you expect him to commit?

Craig Haubert
  (3:44 PM)

He is a hot commodity -- but with several teams in the race it sure looks like it is OSU race to lose. When? not to sure would not be surprised though if this goes on into the fall.

Carson (Gainesville)

Would Dee Finley and Will Hill give the Gators the best safety combination in years?

Craig Haubert
  (3:48 PM)

Will Hill looks like a Florida lean and i know many project him as a safety, but i still think and say you get the ball in his hands -- especially at a school like Florida. Hill or no Hill the Gators already have a nice looking safety tandem in Finley and 07 signee Jerimy Finch.

T.D. (Baltimore)

If Bama gets Julio Jones, what kind of impact does he have?

Craig Haubert
  (3:52 PM)

Honestly i think football wise he has an impact at any school -- he is that good! Big and fast - he can be a difference maker at WR. Bama has not had a WR like him in a while.

Josh (Sacramento)

Jonas Gray...Nebraska, Louisville, or Mich State? What about teammate Kenny Demens?

Craig Haubert
  (3:55 PM)

I think Gray to Nebraska -- still -- you never know and what not be shocked if he stayed close to home, but sure seems like he is head to Nebraska -- I know about the package deal talk with Demens -- but lots of kids say that, but when push comes to shove they usually do what is best for themselves. So we need to see what happens with Demens following the Gray commitment.

Rick (Irvine)

What do you think about Michigan's class shaping up?

Craig Haubert
  (4:00 PM)

UM fans are very hard on their team, but looking at this early class - it is a very good job. They need to start restocking the O-LIne and they are doing that. Really like our guest O'Neill -- he can follow in the footsteps of Jansen and Long. Also Kurt Wermers and Elliott Mealer are good line prospects. Plus they added a play maker at WR in Stonum and a very underrated TE in Brandon Moore he can give them a guy to stretch the field and help them in the passing game. Good start by Michigan.

Craig Haubert
  (4:02 PM)

Gotta run - thanks to our guests for stopping by - and thanks for your questions. See you next week.
