Chat with Paul Kuharsky

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:01 PM)

Hello friends of the AFC South...

Ben in Antioch, TN

What do you think of the Titans start to the season, do you think it will carry over to the latter part, or do you think they can keep it up and be a potential super bowl team?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:02 PM)

Very impressed. A contender for sure. Still capable of losing five games...

brian billick(smarter than youville)

Jeff Fisher better bring a bigger 2x4 this time.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:02 PM)

I miss him too...

Erik, (Silver Spring, MD)

In four games, Chris Johnson has shown each and every week that he is better than Lendale White. So how long do you think it will be before Jeff Fisher gives CJ the bulk of the carries week in and week out?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:03 PM)

Are you familiar with Jeff? Answer never. They did the same sort of thing with Eddie George. Early in his career he didn't plan on third down. CJ is ahead of him there. They are determined to use two..

ray gordon reid jackson ms 39201

question to pat kuharsky at 3.05 pm HI PAT WASHINGTON OR PHILLY

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:04 PM)

I'm Paul, nice to meet you.

Clayton (Jacksonville,FL)

How bad are the Jaguars going to beat the Steelers? This game looks exactly like last year's playoff game, doesn't it Paul?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:04 PM)

It looks so good, I'd be a little scared of it. If they can't get to Ben, they can't get to anyone...

Ryan (Keizer, OR)

Why are the Titans allergic to signing great receivers? This has been a problem for many of the seasons the team has spent in Tennessee.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:05 PM)

And look how it's holding them back. They can't win a damn game... Oh, wait...

Scott (CT)

What's it going to take for people to actually take the Titans as a serious contender in the South. I was listening to the radio this week and Van Pelt and Tirico were going through the divisions. One thinks as of today Jax will win it and the other Indy. I think this is a popular sentiment. Everyone assumes the Colts will rebound but I just think the Titans are a better team than they are.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:05 PM)

Why do you care so much what other people think? The disrespect thing is so old and boring don't you think?

Joey (Rochester, New York)

When are Dinger or Fisher going to get Ahmard Hall involved more in the offense? He could be a true Alsott or even Le'Ron McClain type. The guy is a playmaker!

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:06 PM)

He's a great player and does well with the ball in his hands. That said, he'll get a few touches a game max...

Charles (Jax, FL)

The Jags biggest problem seems to be lack of pass rush. Will Harvey and Groves improve enough to help this season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:07 PM)

They'll be better as the season progresses. But I don't know if it's good enough. I have a column-length blog post on Jags' rush due up any time now...

Anthony, Nashville

Mike Florio said on Dan Patricks XM Radio Show that don't be surprised if Vince Young retires if he didn't have to pay back the bonus money. Your thoughts?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:07 PM)

Who pays a guy who retires?

Scott (CT)

Honestly, it gets a bit annoying to hear people on national TV or national radio who are paid a lot of money not have a clue as to what they're talking about. It's one thing if one of these guys had a reason to still love the Colts other than "They're the Colts," but they don't, they just don't know enough about the Titans or where the Colts are at now. Isn't that their job, though?

Jake (Gainsville)

I think we get enough Titans talk throughout the week on the blog. On to the other teams. How can The Texans beat Indy this week?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:10 PM)

Run it, control time of possession, don't turn it over, make them kick field goals, don;t give up big pass plays. See what Jags did and try the same thing. Titans are undefeated and probably top team in AFC, have you heard?

Steve (Memphis,TN)

If the Jets can wear their old Titans uniforms why can't the Titans wear there old Oilers uniforms? Better yet, have the Jets where the Titans uniforms when they play the Titans and have the Titans wear the Oilers uniforms when they play at Houston later this year.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:10 PM)

They could if they wanted to and asked far enough in advance...

Cliff (Egypt)

Paul. Titans vs. Giants. A 10 game series. Win distribution?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:12 PM)

Neutral field? Titans 6-4? It's not unreasonable to put the undefeated Super Bowl champs from the league's best division at No. 1 after three games....

Barry (Russellville KY)

Paul...How about the half time show at the Super Bowl??

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:12 PM)

I'd sure like to be there. But Bruce cost me $100, three songs will not be satisfying enough and I wish he wasn't doing it...

Vinnie (NYC)

With Johnson getting double teamed constantly, do you see Kevin Walter getting the bulk of the Texans catches and yards the rest of the season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:13 PM)

I will hit on this later today. I certainly hope not. When you have an Andre Johnson, you HAVE to get him the ball. But Walter is a great second option...

Vinnie (NYC)

Paul, do you think that Axl Rose will actually release Chinese Democracy on Nov. 25??

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:14 PM)

Is that the current release date? I'd take the over. A friend of mine ran into him in Venice once and he denied his true identity...

Scott (CT)

To follow up my point, I don't think people should be allowed on national TV or radio as an NFL analyst unless they actually played OL, DL, linebacker or coached. I think those are the only people who really understand football. The rest only look at who has the best people at the "skill positions." I mean, seriously, what does a guy like Keyshawn Johnson know besides QB, RB, and WR? Same with Emmitt Smith, Dan Marino....

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:16 PM)

You know who else is very interested in skill position players? The bulk of the fans and all fantasy players. If you can recognize a dumb analyst, turn the channel...

Ryan (San Diego)

HAHAHA...Titans the top AFC team. That's precious...beat one Jax team at home and you're the best! What a joke...people so quick to jump on bandwagons of teams that are frauds

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:16 PM)

I like SD better in the long run myself. But I'm sure you are completely impartial...

Jake, New York

Titans winning 6-4 with the Statue of Liberty (Collins) at QB with the Giants blitz schemes? That's right Eli already won a Super Bowl yet he would lose 6 times and Collins has won how many big games? Get real. Giants are better on both sides of the ball. 8-2 Giants

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:17 PM)

I rank the Giants first in the power poll. But I think Eli would get hit a great deal...

Refugio (Mcallen, TX)

What are the chances Vince Young does not play this year if Titans keep winning?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:18 PM)

If Collins is healthy? Am I counting a spot series as a surprise change up as "Vince playing?" If not, then 100 percent...

Guy (Round Rock, TX)

What's the situation for Reliant stadium? Will the roof be fixed this season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:19 PM)

Open roof rest of season. I don't know if they can or will work on it before season is over...

Tom (Nashville)

Fill in the blanks for the 1st quarter of the season. MVP: OPOTY: DPOTY: OROTY: DROTY: COTY:

Xander (Philly)

Never any love for the Bills..."slow start" what B.S...they win dont they? Trent Edwards is the best pressure QB in the league.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:20 PM)

Trent Edwards is very impressive. I saw him live in Jax and thought he delivered the ball very, very well...

Jim (Bloomington,Il)

Do you think the Colts will make the playoffs???

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:20 PM)

Maybe not...

PJK (Smyrna)

Why did the media (local and national) blow the whole VY quit thing waaay out of proportion. I was at the game behind the Titans bench. That crap didn't happen the way it was portrayed.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:22 PM)

Then a whole bunch of players and coaches are liars, because they confirmed it did. I believe enablers like you are part of Vince's problem. Has he ever done anything wrong or should we canonize him right now?

Steve (Memphis,TN)

In your opinion how was Tulloch compared to Fowler?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:23 PM)

No huge difference in what I saw. He's faster, there is no doubt about that...

Jake, New York

ok let me hear your top 5 offensive lines and 5 defensive lines. Giants won a Super Bowl with their o/l and everybody who runs behind that line Tiki and everyone else after that averages 4.5 yards or more per carry. Eli gets sacked only 20-30 times per year. On defense the Giants D/L handled the Cowboys, Packers and Patriots O/L not an easy feat. Tennessee wins 4 games with a combined record of 3-9 and you have them as a Super Power. You don't make sense.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:24 PM)

Jake, the Titans can only beat who they played. Giants wins over Cincy and St. Loo rank as biggies to you? Titans front is as good as there is right now. I give the Giants the edge in head to head -- which is a legitimate debate -- but it's not big enough for you?

PJK

Wow. Kind of the jerks calls me an enabler. I'm curshed. Seriously, I think he needs to ride the bench but it was made a bigger deal and you're making it worse.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:25 PM)

Yes, now it is my fault. Anybody's but his...

fresh prince (bel air)

Are the Jags better, worse, or about where you thought they'd be after a quarter of the season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:25 PM)

Worse. But who knew what would happen on o-line?

Ryan (San Diego)

I'm not saying i'm not impartial to SD but it's just funny seeing the same stuff happen over and over. Everyone was in love with the broncos a couple weeks ago until they realized their defense was nonexistent. It happens every year...like the browns last season.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:27 PM)

Except for the part where the Browns were 10-6 last year and the Titans are legitimately good, I agree. I said the Browns would be bad this year...

HB: Nashville

Can we sign Albert to a new deal befroe the season is out, and do you think he might give us a home town discount to stay here in Tennessee?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:27 PM)

Not allowed to negotiate until the regular season is over. I think he's going to be the highest paid defensive player in the league and that it won't happen here...

Mac - Memphis

Thanks Paul for all your input and the coverage you've provided through the years - I've always enjoyed the read!

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:28 PM)

Thanks. Make friend with PJK Smyrna and sell him on me, would you?

Vinnie (NYC)

Why is Garrard getting picked off so much this season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:29 PM)

Was forcing things a bit early. Seems to have settled down. Titans and Bills have pretty good defenses...

Bongo Nashville.

Mr. K Do you think Fisher is playing with fire by shutting things down in the second halves of games? How do you see the evolution of CJ touches changing as the season ages.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:30 PM)

They are winning by an average of 14. I think he is doing OK unless he misses Bironas at the horn...

JL (Hoboken, NJ)

I think Ryan fails to acknowledge that there exists the possibility that more than one team might be talented in football...way to keep a level-head buddy

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:30 PM)

You want to moderate while I go find lunch?

kyle sacramento

hey what do the oakland raiders need to do to make playoffs

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:31 PM)

Win 10 of their last 12?

Jake, NYC

Ok Cincy played great against them but when they played the Skins they held them w/o a first down for 28 minutes of the first half. Their front is still in the top 5 in the NFL WITHOUT STRAHAN AND OSI. They have one glaring weakness and that is their LBs. With the absence of a true super power in both conferences G-Men have a better chance of getting to the Super Bowl than the Titans.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:32 PM)

Becasue of which super power in the AFC? The Brady-less Patriots? I like the Giants. A lot. Can't that be enough? Am I allowed to say the Titans are also good?

Ryan: Brentwood, TN

ESPN stated that the Titan's may have the best D since the 2001 Ravens. Do you agree?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:33 PM)

Not yet. And the actual network stated it? I'm guessing it was someone at the network. Who?

Tim : Branson

How has Chris Simms looked in practice and what do the coaches think of him? Do you think that the Titans will keep him on the roster this seaon and possibly beyond?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:34 PM)

I don't see practices, so I am not in position to answer that, sorry. They'd have to sign him to a new contract to keep him...

Oman (texas)

Tell me how you see the Raven Titan game falling this Sunday?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:34 PM)

Closer than most Titans fans expect...

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:34 PM)

Closer than most Titans fans expect...

JB (TX)

I think the VY stuff will be forgotten if he returns and plays well. If he comes back and struggles it'll be the end of him...in Tennessee at least. That being said Fisher is handling this as well as any coach could, I don't believe he'll be rushed back out on the field while they're still winning under Kerry.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:35 PM)

You mean they won't rush an ineffective QB with dedication issues back to play ahead of a guy who's won three straight and carries himself well?

rick (jacksonville)

Whats more conservative: amish clothing or Jack Del Rio's offense?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:36 PM)

Good debate thread!

JB (TX)

KVB's hit on Frerotte: dirty or unfortunate?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:38 PM)

Unfortunate, I think. I've covered him a good while, I don't think he's a cheap shot guy. People seem to think it's easy to control a hit. I thought the Jets guy got beat up by the league for the Boldin hit. He's supposed to anticipate how that's going to unfold?

Garo (Decaturville, TN)

Why do current and former Tennessean writers go on the attack of certain players? We get it, he's not taking enough responsiblity for his actions and failures, but it's getting as old as people asking for more media respect for the Titans.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:38 PM)

Did I bring it up or did I answer a question?

JL (Hoboken, NJ)

What are the quirkiest pregame rituals you've encountered in your time covering the NFL?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:40 PM)

Not to pick on McNair, but... McNair's napping. The whole franchise would search for the right napping spot at a road game. Meanwhile the receivers caught warmup passes from the backup. Also McNair's insistence on warming up by throwing to a 5-5 equipment guy instead of a player...

Tim (San Diego)

Paul How do the Titans match up with the Chargers (when their starters are healthy and game ready--sans Merriman)?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:41 PM)

Tough game. Where will it be played?

HB: (NASHVILLE)

Does Hawkins really have the goods, is he as good as Mase his rookie season... I know we haevnt seen him much, but what do you think?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:41 PM)

I haven't seen him since camp.

peter (gainesville)

Fred Taylor a hall of famer? He could crack 11,000 yards against Steelers Sunday.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:42 PM)

The case for him is very good, especialy on a per carry and per game basis...

Refugio (Mcallen, TX)

In your opinion, do the Titans have what it takes to win a Super Bowl?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:42 PM)

No. I don't think they have enough at QB...

jon(Abingdon, VA)

Lets say that K Collins has to be relieved for a temporary injury/IV for 2 series, and by chance VY comes in and leads 2 td drives, Do we have a contraversy, or would it take more?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:43 PM)

Media and fans would make it a controversy. Right now, though, I think we'd see Simms....

Charles (Jax, FL)

Would Del Rio win a cage match among all nfl coaches?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:44 PM)

Probably. But beating up on Wade or Jauron isn't a big deal. Vs. Fox could be interesting, don't you think?

Hector (Key West)

Paul, I believe your preseason SB pick was SD. Does that still look good to you?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:45 PM)

Think I ended up going NE-NO. Genius! Right now I'd say SD-Philly. (Bracing for Giants guy to tee off on me some more...)

Scott (CT)

Paul, I just don't agree or understand the argument you just made about the Titans not having the QB to win the Super Bowl. Since 1999 QB play by the winning team in the post-season has been less than spectacular minus Eli Manning and Brady in 2003 and 2004. As you've seen with the Bucs, Ravens and 2001 Patriots it really takes a great D to win. And a lot of luck. But the Titans are fine at QB if Collins doesn't make mistakes.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:48 PM)

You just said minus three of the last five! Yes let's throw three of the last five out of the sampling to mak our argument... Last five: Eli, Peyton, Ben, Brady, Brady. All better than Collins. Maybe weren't great in playoffs or SB, but all better in their season than Collins can be in this one. In my opinion... That doesn't make Collins bad, and it doesn't mean they can't win it with him...

Shawn (Columbia, TN)

Do you think White has a future with the Titans. He seems to be excelling in short yardage but that is all. Could the Titans look to upgrade White next year?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:48 PM)

I sure hope they won't spend a first or second rounder on a RB for a fourth year in a row....

RiseAboveWM3

what is you take of the qb situation in tampa ? are for griese or for garcia?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:49 PM)

I think Garcia always ends up underestimated and over-blamed...

Vinnie (NYC)

Paul, do you think the Titans are missing Pacman Jones or are they better off without him?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:49 PM)

Way better without. In the full picture...

Guy (Round Rock, TX)

Why haven't the Texans cut A. Green?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:50 PM)

In favor of what unnamed RB?

D (Geneva, Switzerland)

I know you're an AFC South guy, but how do you compare the 4 - 0 Titans with the 4 - 0 Bills?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:50 PM)

Would love to see that game. I give Titans an edge because of experience...

JB (TX)

FTaylor has a case for the HOF but you said recently Eddie definitely doesn't. Explain. I think it'll be tough for Eddie, but I don't see how Taylor has a case and he doesn't.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:51 PM)

Fred Taylor is a way better back than Eddie and has already played how many more full seasons?

HB: (NASHVILLE)

Will Tony Brown make the Probowl?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:51 PM)

Without Albert last year, did you see how Tony played? He's a great guy and a good complimentary player. Let's not go crazy...

Shawn (Columbia, TN)

No offense, man. But that wasn't really answer. There are many ways to upgrade besides the draft. Chenry could be looked to step up or FA or even deeper in the draft. The point of the question is even with White's relative success do you think an upgrade is needed and/or desired for the future?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:52 PM)

C Henry? Funny. If you think LenDale is bad... I think one may be needed -- I wouldn't rank it No. 1 priority -- but they clearly like him...

Mike (NOLA)

Paul you don't seem to enjoy these chats. Why do them?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:54 PM)

I do enjoy them! Like the banter very much. Don't like how so many people default to so much being the media's fault. All VY has/hasn't done this season and it's the coverage that gets bashed?

JB (TX)

"Full" seasons? Don't you remember the nickname "Fragile Fred?" In their primes I'd rather have Eddie in the 4th quarter, I think anyone would.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:56 PM)

He has missed eight games in the last six years with injury. It's a little outdated. An idea that has too much lasting power, like the idea that Eddie was an all-time great., He was a solid back in a system happy to get 3 yards a carry, and a great leader/ locker room/ media guy...

Vinnie (NYC)

I think the biggest question besides whether or not VY is ready to come back is whether his teammates want him back. After what has happened, isn't it possible they have lost faith in him as their leader?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:57 PM)

Sure is...

Mike (NOLA)

Fair enough, but you do have to admit that sports news has become more like sports gossip in recent years.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:58 PM)

I'm not gossiping. You know where to find legit news and analysis and where to find gossip. You can self filter. The question is do you or do you want to?

Guy (Round Rock, TX)

Would it be fair to say A. Green would be gone if he hadn't restructured his contract?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:58 PM)

Certainly more likely....

Robert (Latrobe, PA)

How much of an effect has Alex Gibbs had on the Texans?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:58 PM)

Hard to say yet. I expect them to beat Detroit/ Miami/ Cincy. Then we'll know/ see....

Steve (Syracuse, NY)

Paul- What happened to Chris Brown...I know he got signed by the Texans---is he on IR again...he seemed to always have Turf Toe when he was on Tennessee...

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:59 PM)

On IR. Had turf toe once. A shoulder, a knee, an ankle, etc, etc, etc. This time it was his back...

Frank (Pell Lake, WI)

Should i start White on my fantasy team even though he'll get limited touches? or is his goal line carries enough for a start? Thanks!

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:00 PM)

He'll get goal line touches..

JB (TX)

Honestly I don't think Eddie will make it, mainly because his peers (Bettis, Curtis Martin, Tiki) ended up w/so many more yds and TDs. But he's 1st ballot hall of bad asses along w/McNair!

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:01 PM)

Neither of them are making it. Seriously, compare them to the BEST players at their positions in their era. A significant notch below. It's not the Hall of Good...

Ryan (Katy, TX)

VY's mom keeps telling everyone out here that the only reason K Collins is starting is because his dad is buddy buddy with Jeff Fisher. Do you know if there is any truth to this? Thanks.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:02 PM)

Yes, Fisher makes all his lineup decisions after comparing notes with parents. It's just like high school in the NFL. Did some one say something earlier about gossip?

Justin (NY, NY)

Eddie got 3.6 yards a carry because he had to carry it 375 times a year, every year, in an offense that until 2003, did not have much of a passing game to keep guys out of the box. Fred Taylor never had to be the kind of true workhorse that Eddie had to for his team to succeed. Put Eddie George in an offense like the Colts had with Peyton and Edge, and he puts up much bigger numbers, especially yards per carry.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:03 PM)

You don't get to put him in another offense. His candidacy is with the offense he played in...

Guy (Round Rock, TX)

When is Dunta Robinson due back from IR?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:03 PM)

Eligible to come off PUP, not IR, after six weeks...

Mike (NOLA)

If you covered the VY suicide watch, then it was gossip...along with the all nhew OJ trial and any story that has anything to do with what happens outside the game. Hey I'm not hating, just making a point.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:06 PM)

His coach called the POLICE and mentioned SUICIDE and you don't think that's news? I don't understand how all these people wouldn't rank ahead of me in your complaints: 1) Fisher; 2) VY; 3) Nashville Metro Police. Scramble the order, but don't shoot the messenger...

Frank (Pell Lake, WI)

Any reason why Alge Crumpler hasn't gotten more involved on offense? Is it because the receivers are getting open more often or something else? Thanks!

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:06 PM)

Coverage is dictating throws outside. And KC is not as TE-reliant as VY would be. I'm told by scouts that Crumpler can still be dangerous...

Robert (Latrobe, PA)

How long until the Texans are searching for a new QB? I like Schaub, but he is just so brittle.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:07 PM)

They've got a good alternative on the roster.....

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:08 PM)

Couple more, then I am making you all go back to work!

JL (Hoboken, NJ)

Any chance Kerry reverts back to his penchant for turnovers against this tough Ravens D?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:08 PM)

Could happen. He could have a tough time Sunday...

jon (Abingdon, VA)

Who has more yards E Campbell, or E George? Who had more years? Who made farther into the playoffs? Who scored more points? Should we take Earl out of the HOF?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:09 PM)

Different era. Earl was among the best of his, without question...

Troy (Grinnell, IA)

The Titans recently had a bunch of OL in for "tryouts". Any word on how former Hawkeye Pete McMahon looked?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:09 PM)

No word. It's a misnomer to call them tryouts. They are workouts. Titans are set on o-line not looking for help....

Kris(Indianapolis, In)

With the exception of our top 2 NT the colts defence is the same as last year, is the poor play from bad fundamentals(tackles, angles, gaps) or is it a bigger problem than that?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:11 PM)

What about Bob Sanders being out? Huge factor. Let's see them clean up the fundamentals and then we can judge. Three-game sampling still too small, don't you think?

Frank (Pell Lake, WI)

What are your thoughts on Collins saying he wants to start again next season and couldn't see himself in a back up role? I think he could start and am glad the Titans have him on the roster.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:13 PM)

He's a free agent after the season, so he'll get to judge the opportunities. His thinking makes perfect sense. But I don't know that he'll be coveted as a starter. Maybe he could get himself into a training camp competition...

Guy (Round Rock, TX)

1st time I did this. I like it!

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:13 PM)

Good deal. Same time, same place every week....

jon (Abingdon, VA)

Thanks for answering my questions.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:14 PM)

Thanks for coming...

Jon (Mad-town)

Titans D this year equals 2006 Bears D. That D was destroyed by injuries to Mike Brown and Tommie Harris. Would the same thing happen if they lose Haynesworth?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:14 PM)

You saw them go 0-3 without him last year. He's impossible to replace...

Bryan (Murfreesboro, TN)

With the recent "gossip" about Travis Henry (not to mention the 9+ kids, penchant for the ganja, and need for payday loans when he's making 2+ mil a year), how firmly do you think Jeff Fisher and Co. are patting themselves on the back for not re-signing him and letting him hit the free agent market a couple years ago?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:16 PM)

When you're in prison and facing charges, it's not gossip. I think you were kidding there, right? Good job by them. I hate that Henry wound up in this place. He's a good-hearted guy. Just not bright or well-advised...

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:16 PM)

Thanks for coming everybody. See you next week. Hit the mailbag any time. Cheers...
