  (12:17 PM)

We'll have our Monday Night Football chatters back again on Monday. We'll start at 3 p.m. ET with our fantasy experts and continue right up until game time with our NFL experts from Scouts Inc. and Football Outsiders!

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:00 PM)

Good afternoon, pigskin fans! Quite a high-scoring Week 12. Let's get to your questions.

James (Lansing, Michigan)

choose 2/3 for tonight: Lance Moore, Donald Driver or Pierre Thomas. going against Rodgers.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:01 PM)

Might as well jump aboard the Saints bandwagon, if you're trying to catch up.

Gregg (Memphis)

Seriously, what is up with McNabb? Should I be thinking about letting him go because of his performance and schedule for the remainder of the season? Cassel, Ryan, and Thigpen are available in my league (leaning towards Thigpen). I have Big Ben as my #2. Thanks

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:04 PM)

Hi Gregg. What worries me the most is that he could get yanked again at some point, since coach Reid decided to throw Kolb to the wolves yesterday. So, I don't have a problem with picking up Thigpen, who has a better upcoming schedule overall or Cassel (whose sked is a bit tougher 2 of the next 3 weeks).

Steve(Ma)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING KEITH to you and yours. I made the playoffs which are weeks 15 and 16. We start 2 Wr's..1/2 ppr..You think Randy Moss and Bowe are fin going foward or should I be looking on the wire for matchups. I also have Plax (ughh)..Thanks

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:05 PM)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well, Steve! I'm fine with Moss and Bowe for sure. It's been a down year for WRs, and they're among the best at the position. Plax is not even worth starting right now in most leagues. It's been a long time since he's had a big game.

John, KC

I'm seeing Colston and Moore ratings flip flopped everywhere. Who do I use to get 15?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:07 PM)

While Colston always has the advantage in terms of more upside, Moore is easily the safer pick these days, so I'd go with him. He's had at least 76 yards and one TD each of the past three weeks.

Jay(tampa)

3rd times the charm ? D.Brees or A.Rogers tonight ?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:07 PM)

Hard to go against the record pace Brees in on, Jay. The Packers have run the ball very effectively of late, while the Saints have been chucking it like crazy.

Matt (Chicago)

Steve from MA asked the exact same question in this morning's chat! C'mon man!

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:08 PM)

Sorry y'all. I don't have a lot of free time to check other chats, so my apologies everyone.

Jason (St Louis)

With Asomugha covering Dwayne Bowe next week, is Mark Bradley a decent flex play?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:10 PM)

Asomugha usually stays on the same side of the field, but Bradley is a decent flex still, especialy in 12-team leagues or more, because the Chiefs passing game has been effective and Bradley's accounted for a TD in 4 of the past 5 weeks.

Brendan (Alexandria, VA)

How stupid should I feel starting R White-ATL and G Jennings-GB over R Moss this past weekend? I benched Moss starting last week. Should I have seen Moss's performance coming? Should I put him back in next week?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:13 PM)

Hey, Brendan. Those are three quality WRs, so it's tough to pick each week. Moss definitely had a better matchup than White did, but it's going to be a tough call for you almost every week. In Week 13, though, White has a much better matchup, so I would play him over Moss in that one. And since both Moss and Jennings face decent pass Ds next week, I'd go with the hot hand of Cassel/Moss, if I had to say right now.

Andrew

is bush out or in?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:15 PM)

Nothing official from the team, but it's looking very unlikely that he'll go tonight.

Jerry (San Fran)

Hi Keith, Happy Thanksgiving. I OWN McAllister. Do I drop him for Thomas tonight? Need a few points out of Moore and a NO RB to pull off a win this week.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:16 PM)

Thanks, Jerry. Same to you. I would rather have Thomas than Deuce tonight, since he's a better bet to gain more yardage.

Ronny (Michigan,Detroit)

TO had a great game but im just not sold on starting him next week. whatcha think Keith

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:18 PM)

Well, I've been waiting to see how TO played with Romo back, so it was good to see him bust the 100-yard mark finally. Against Seattle's secondary, he should have a decent game on Thanksgiving.

Jeff (Vancouver,WA)

Tim Hightower.....is he worth a spot in a 1 pt PPR league? Love the TD's but he is getting no yards or catches. I have Westbrook, Slaton, Chris Johnson, Lynch and Sammy Morris. Should I cut Morris in favor of Hightower or Mo. Morris.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:20 PM)

I don't see how you'd play either Morris or Hightower over what you've got most weeks anyway, to be honest. But at least Hightower is still scoring TDs, which is more than Morris can say. The Pats' RB picture isn't clearing up at all.

Kevin, Boston

Good Afternoon Keith, A true sleeper wr for the rest of the year is _____? I play right thru week 17 and playoffs start with a redraft

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:22 PM)

I'd have to say Ted Ginn, after the Fins lost Camarillo for the season and the fact that Ginn's provided decent numbers in recent weeks, despite the lack of scores. Miami doesn't face too many great defenses the rest of the way, either.

John (NYC)

It looks like Jason Witten's ribs are still really bothering him, 2 straight weeks with a subpar receiving performance. With Dustin Keller getting consistent looks from Favre (along with lots of praise), would you consider starting him over Witten until he proves he's fully healthy?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:25 PM)

I don't see any problem with that at all. Keller's got at least 6 catches each of the past 3 weeks. Both TEs face pass-friendly defenses this week.

Bobby, NY

Any news of Kevin Smith's injury at the end of the game yesterday? He wasn't mentioned in the injury blog. Just curious since he plays on Thursday this week.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:26 PM)

Unfortunately, Bobby, I haven't heard coach Marinelli's news conference yet, so no update. But I'm sure our trusty Stephania Bell will have it covered during the next day or two, if there is something to worry about.

adm (SLC)

Playing the number one team this week, I need Driver to get 50+ yrds or a touchdown tonight to pull off the upset. Look into your crystal ball will it happen? Also Thigpen or Ryan week 13?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:28 PM)

Adam, I'd say I like your chances tonight. And I'd go with Ryan vs. SD over Thigpen vs. OAK this coming week.

Jeff (CA)

Any updates on Chad Johnson, will he play this week? Thanks.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:29 PM)

Johnson is already back at practice, and he's expected to play, but against the Ravens, it's hard to expect much from him statistically this week.

Ryan (New Rock, NY)

Keith, I traded DeAngelo Williams and Djax for Gore. I thought I made out nicely on this deal...until yesterday. What do you think of Gore the rest of the way?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:32 PM)

Gore has had a couple stinkers this year, but otherwise has been very good yardage-wise. He's got a couple good matchups and a couple tough ones the rest of the way, but he's a must-start anyway.

Ryan (NJ)

Back to back weeks for Slaton with no catches, whats the deal?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:34 PM)

He's really only had two games in which he caught passes for decent yardage, so it's not something you should expect regularly from him anyway. Getting a career-high 21 carries was encouraging, though, wasn't it?

dre (nyc)

Sup Keith, question about raiders backfield. Fargas played well but couldnt not find the endzone whereas DMC had like 10 carries but 2 tds. Does this forecast anything going forward about who gets goaline duties? is it worth playin either against KC?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:37 PM)

Well, your guess is as good as mine as far as what the plan is for the Raiders each week, especially since getting both guys on the field at the same time has been rare. I agree it's a nice matchup vs. KC, but I wouldn't sit any of my regular stud backs in favor of them. I'd only play them if my backfield was more matchup-based anyway.

Troll Toll (Musical Stuff)

Pennington or Thigpen this week? Does Camarillo's injury make that decision? i'm afraid of Oaklands secondary...help please. thanks.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:38 PM)

St. Louis can't stop anyone, so I have to go with Pennington in that one. Just hope the Dolphins don't score all their TDs on the ground!

Bob(NY)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING KEITH..1/2 ppr..this week only..Forte vs Vikings or Dunn vs Saints. Witten or Winslow? Thanks

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:41 PM)

The TEs is a tough call ... if Witten's deemed healthy, I think he's got a better chance to score, but we'll know more about his health in the next couple days. And I would stick with Forte, even though it's the Vikes, because Forte is more likely to score, since Dunn's never been big on the end zone. That is a tough call, though, Bob. Good luck!

Bill (Nebraska)

Philip Rivers or Jay Cutler next weekend?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:42 PM)

Gotta go Rivers until I see something more positive out of that inconsistent Denver offense.

Jonathan (NYC)

What is the status of Brandon Jacobs? Does he return? Will he be limited? Is D.Ward now starting?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:43 PM)

No official word out of Giants camp on that, but I think the team was playing it safe, knowing that Jacobs could benefit from an extra week's rest, while the running game would still be in good hands with Ward/Bradshaw.

Dan (New York)

Is Dallas or New England D a better play than Philly's this week?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:44 PM)

It's hard to advocate playing any defense against Arizona's high-scoring attack right now, so I'd say Dallas is the better bet to shut down its opponent this week.

Kellen Winslow(OH)

What's up with my 1 catch yesterday. I've really only had 1 big (ok huge) game this year, and the rest have been mediocre at best. Would you drop me for Dustin Keller? The Jets have a crazy easy schedule for the rest of the year. Gotta go ice my shoulder...Happy Turkey Day!

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:46 PM)

Keller's definitely been the better TE, and he's getting looks in the red zone, which is something Winslow really isn't getting. Hard to believe, but I think I'd rather have Keller right now.

Karl, (Elkhart, IN)

Is Camarillo out for the year?? I had not heard that yet.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:47 PM)

Yes, Karl. Camarillo's season is over.

Eddie (NYC)

What's the RB situation looking like in STL? Safe to cut antonio pittman if it's just a speculative spot anyway?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:48 PM)

It's hard to be excited about any Rams player in fantasy, because of the way their games are going. And it's even worse for a RB, since they've fallen behind so big so early that they become non-factors, except in the passing game. Yes, you can go elsewhere for production, Eddie.

ShamelessAnswerGuyPlug

My compliments to the Answer Guys who told me to stay far away from Pittman.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:50 PM)

The AG's really do a great job of handling a lot of work!

Roy, Denver

I apologize in advance... a D/ST question. Have NYG and Philly now. There's a few rough stretches coming up during playoffs whereas Miami has the Rams this week and SF in three. Do I drop one, and if so, which? Thanks.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:52 PM)

No need for apologies, Roy. I'd rather have the Giants D, so I'd drop Philly's, unless you think you'd be playing them on the weeks you wouldn't play Miami.

Steve (Dallas)

Drop Jamal Lewis for McFadden?

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:53 PM)

I would hang onto Jamal, because at least he's still going to get the majority of carries going forward, despite yesterday's low total. I think the Raiders backs will continue to split carries and be inconsistent fantasy-wise, so it'll be even harder to predict than Lewis' output.

Rob (Frankfort, IL)

What happened to Cutler yesterday??? Is this a sign of things to come or will he continue to perform a high level???

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:57 PM)

It's not the same Denver offense that you saw in September, but yesterday was the first time he went without a TD this season, so I expect him to bounce back and get back on the TD string against the Jets this week. They'll probably have to throw a lot.

Joe (NY)

Hey Keith! Do you see a shootout tonight? Does Brees have a good night or throw a bunch of INT's? Oh. and I've read so many different things.. is Bush playing or NOT? Thx

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (3:59 PM)

The Packers' pass D has been good this season, but you know Brees will continue to throw and I suspect that means he'll have mixed results. And while there's nothing official, Bush is unlikely to go tonight.

ESPN.com Fantasy's Keith Lipscomb
  (4:00 PM)

OK, I've got to make room for Gary Horton next up, so enjoy your Thanksgiving everyone, and I'll see you next week!

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:03 PM)

I thought the games yesterday were very interesting. Isn't it ironic that the best two teams in the NFL are likely in the same city: New York? I was very impressed with how both of them played on the road. These are well-coached teams that will be around at the end.

destin (spokane wa )

ok is the matchup tonite a pontental playoff matchup in the wildcard round

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:05 PM)

It certainly could be, especially in the NFC North. Right now, however, it seems like the only team that will come out of the North is the team that wins it because they continue to beat each other. The Packers are probably the most talented team in the division. Ironically, even though they're trailing, I think they are capable of getting on a roll and jumping back into the playoff race. The problem is, there are so many talented teams in the NFC, the wild card situation is very crowded.

Kev (NYC)

A 10-1 record, 18TDs 7INTs, 91 rating 62% completion...Is Eli Manning a serious MVP candidate?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:07 PM)

If I were voting, he would be, because he provides a lot of value beyond those stats--great leadership and playing under pressure--and I think he may have the best composure of any other QB. There are guys out there with obviously flashier stats, and to me, he's the perfect description of a team guy. I'm pretty sure you would rather have a Super Bowl ring than an individual record.

J.B. (Dunmore, PA)

Mr. Horton: Is it possible that the winner of the AFC West will finish 8-8 or even worse?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:08 PM)

Sure it is. I honestly think even San Diego could win this division. At 4-7, they could go 4-1 and make them 8-8. 8-8 or 9-7 will win this division.

DGA

Who you like tonight? Pack or Saints?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:11 PM)

I picked New Orleans, 31-27. I think this has a chance to be a very entertaining game. With Brees and the versatility of this offense, the Saints have a great chance even without Bush. Rodgers is playing very well for the Packers, and Grant gives them a run game the Saints don't have. I think the Saints will play with a lot of enthusiasm tonight, and their backs are to the wall. They are a team who is a lot more talented than they've played.

Justin (St Paul)

What do you make of Donavan Mcnabb's situation? Do you see him having a big game this week considering it may be his "last hurah" to be the Eagles starting QB?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:14 PM)

I'm really concerned about this situation. I like both Andy and Donovan. I cannot understand how they could have pulled Donovan. Kolb wasn't ready to play, and they had to have known what a reaction it would bring. I could see playing Kolb late in the season when they were out of the race, or late in a one-sided game, but McNabb has earned the right to not be humiliated like they did to him last week. To be honest, now, I don't know what happens. Is this a one-game reprieve? Even if he remains the starter, what is his attitude towards the organization? To me, this should have been discussed, and Donovan should have had a clear picture of what the coaches were thinking, and I don't think this was the case. It just doesn't seem like Andy Reid, for all the things these guys have been through together.

Roddy (Los Angeles)

Gary, Will the Saints be smart and run Thomas a lot or try to force throws vs a good secondary. It seems to me that you need to adjust and run against the Packers D even if you love chucking the ball like Brees and Co.

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:18 PM)

Drew Brees can utilize any game plan, and to be honest, you have to give the Saints credit for finding offensive balance even if they don't have a solid run attack. Brees is so good off a play-action that the run makes him very effective, and the weakness of the Packers' defense is the run. The challenge in this game for the Saints is to spread the field and get past the top two corners, Woodson and Harris, because both matchups and the third, fourth, and fifth options, can become favorable. It wouldn't surprise me if the Saints opened up a lot of multi-receiver sets and then came back against sub packages. For all the problems they've had, I think playcalling is a very positive thing for the Saints.

Shawn (Sacramento)

What do you think about Titans D, do you still roll with them despite the blowout yesterday?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:20 PM)

Yes I do, but I think the Jets may have partially shown us a gameplan on how to attack the Titans. They used a run game to eat the clock, but it was their short passing game that really impressed me. They used a lot of quick slants, etc., with three- and five-step drops, that almost looked like run plays, and it kept the chains moving, and it also prevented the Titans' front four from getting penetration. Because it moved the chains so much, it kep the defense tired. The way that teams may come after them is a short game with a run game and keeping them on the field. I thought it was the smartest gameplan I have seen all year.

Will J (Portland, OR)

Will Brady Quinn start the Browns next game? I thought Quinn would play the remainder of the season, no matter what?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:22 PM)

I think he will start, and I think they pulled him out of this game because of his sore pinky, and the fact that he was struggling because of it. I don't think he was replaced by Derek Anderson because of poor play, even though they both looked lousy. I think Quinn will be the starter the rest of the season as long as he's healthy.

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:22 PM)

But they are a team in total disarray.

Ryan (Detroit,Michigan)

With the Jets beating the last unbeaten team in the NFL is it safe to say that the jets are the dominant team in the AFC?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:24 PM)

I've had this conversation twice today with people at ESPN, and right now, the Jets are the best team in the AFC. They do not have any glaring weaknesses, and it seems like every unit has at least one playmaker they can count on. That really keeps things tight. I think their gameplan right now is exactly how they built this team, and they are built to last in the playoffs, because they are one of those teams that can adjust their gameplan to fit any situation, including weather.

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:25 PM)

Not only did they beat Tennessee on the road, but I thought they dominated them, which really makes you feel good if you are a Jets fan. If I'm a Titans fan, I'm concerned not just about the loss, but the way they lost.

Steiny (NYC)

How much has New England Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel impressed you this season?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:28 PM)

I think he's one of the best stories of the NFL this year. He has made so much progress from where he started until now, that it's amazing. He plays with confidence, he's making all the throws, and even has mobility that we didn't see from Tom Brady. Having said all that, everybody seems to think that Belichick has opened up his playbook for Cassel, and while he is stretching the field more, this is still a safe and semi-conservative offense. If you study the film, a lot of those yards come off of short passes to get YAC. I watched some film this morning, and I came away obviously impressed with Cassel, but more impressed with the gameplan the coaches are putting together. They know exactly what his strengths and weaknesses are and cater the gameplan to that.

Maurice (Savannah Ga)

Where do you see Matt Ryan and the falcons fitting into the playoff picture after dominating Carolina 45-28 yesterday?

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:30 PM)

They're right in the middle of it, because I think their defense is solid enough, but they also have offensive balance. They can throw with Ryan, and adjust to a power run game. Right now, even Carolina is not getting great consistent play from Delhomme, and TB only has Garcia. I think this race is going down to the wire. I think Atlanta will be in it to the end.

Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton
  (4:31 PM)

We don't have great attractive games on Thursday, but I don't think it matters. You wanna lay on the couch and watch football, and we have three NFL games in which to to that. Can you ask for much more? Every week means something, and we're really headed for a great finish in a lot of these divisions.

Buzzmaster
  (4:33 PM)

Thanks Gary! Ken Moll is up next at the top of the hour!

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:03 PM)

Fella's,This should be a good one with the Packers needing to keep pace with the Vikings and Bears and the Saints being desperate to have an outside chance at the post season.

Sef

This is a big game for both teams and basically the season is at stake. I just hope my Saints are able to pull it off. WHOOOO DATTTT.

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:05 PM)

Sef,SUPER Slow computer to day ! Yes they both have to have it and if the Saints show up they have a great chance but can they stop the run ??

Lions fan (bag on head)

Ken if the Lions go to 0-15 do you think we will get the flex game in Week 17?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:08 PM)

Bag on head, First , Take it off and then I'll answer your question. OK now, the Lions will slip up and win a game but don't count on much more -

ray gordon reid DAYTON OH 45469

question to KENNY MOLL AT 5.10 PM HI KENNY BEARS OR VIKINGS

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:10 PM)

Ray, I just finishing writing up that game and It's going to be a "barn burner" but I'll take the Vikings at home. They are very closely matched but AP and the Home field was the reason why. Minnesota has been tough at home with only one loss in week two (late to the Colts)--

Fat Tony (Springfield, USA)

I know where u reside, Ken, don't make me send the boys after you by ignoring me...Do you think that Thigpen's great run is ending? Even though he had a solid stat line, his play was rather sloppy. Start Big Ben over him this week, possibly longer?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:12 PM)

Tony, You're looking slim these days and get rid of Thigpen and stay with Big Ben -

tyler Coe baxter kansas

if dallas wins on thursday they got a great chance beat the steelers

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:15 PM)

Kansas,The Boys can beat anyone if they play (stay focused) but they can also get beat by anyone if they get out of "wack" -- Consistency (especially offensive line) will be important down the stretch.

Frank New Orleans, La

Do u think the saints have a legit shot at making the playoffs as a wild card..or has the injury bug bit them to hard.

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:17 PM)

Frank, The Saints chances are "SLIM and NONE" even if they win tonight but there is still hope a this point. They have talent but too inconsistent (especially) defensively.

David

It seems like Green Bay is getting a lot of credit for their Pass Defense, but they also haven't played against a strong pass offense like the Saints and won. For example week 3 against Dallas. Advantage Saints?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:18 PM)

David, You are right. I see this being a high scoring contest but I believe that Brees will put up some big numbers tonight but can the Saints stop the Packers ??

Brett (Pittsburgh,PA)

hey ken,TO did pretty good but im still not really sold on starting him for my fantasy team whatcha think???

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:20 PM)

Brett, I'm like you , NOT SOLD on TO - Depending on who you have leave Owens on the bench-

Mo (Ny)

Who will have a bigger game tonight....Colston working against prob the best CB combo in the league or Lance moore in slot

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:22 PM)

MO,I like Colston in this Match up (such a big target and can get physical with the Packers corners.

Brandon (New Hampshire)

What is your though on matt cassel's season so far? and do you think he should be a big name on the freeagent market in the offseason?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:26 PM)

Brandon,He has played much better than I would have thought and depending on how he finishes the season , he could be a big name on the market. Remember the Pat's still have some of the best TARGETS in the passing game to distribute the ball to. Can he do it with out the Welker and Moss combination ??

Andrew (Everett Wa)

Trying to find a way to get this answered...Do the Saints attack GB Def more w/ Shockey underneath or Thomas (and the running game)?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:29 PM)

Andrew,I don't see Thomas having as big a game as Brees and their air attack. wheather Shockey is going to have a big game or not remains to be seen. Shockey could put up some big numbers but Brees has several targets that can be factors tonight-

Cooper (MD)

Are Norv Turner's days numbered?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:31 PM)

Cooper, I don't see them getting rid of Norv this year but He'll have to go far in the post season next year to keep his job.

bailey (bluefield va)

how can u blame mncabb when defense's gameplan is....1. d-line pass rush everyplay (even 3and1)2. db's no run support(even3and1)3.lbs pass first (even 3and1)andy reid should bench himself for the offensive play calling!!!

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:33 PM)

Bailey, You're right but Donavan does have to take some of the blame. He just isn't playing very well at all. Did you see his performance vs. Cincy? WOW, there are more problems than just McNabb in Philly but he shares lots of the blame--

Michael (KC)

Ken! Happy Thanksgiving! Which one to start this week? Jennings @ Car or Bowe @ Nnamdi?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:35 PM)

Michael,I would take my chances with Jennings . Good eat'n to you and the family !

Bert (Peachtree City, GA)

Hi Ken. Go Cardinals! We're all knotted up and this one is for the league's 1st place rank. He has Jennings, and I have Moore and Driver. Who wins tonite?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:36 PM)

Bert, I like your chances with Moore and Driver- You had me at " GO CARDINALS"

PAUL BROWN (Rolling In My Grave)

When will the Bengals be sold and run by a competent owner ? They have the smallest scout staff, no GM, and an owner who likes playing with Daddy's toy. They could have had TWO #1 Picks from the Skins last year for Ocho Cinco, but they passed on that one. Sadly Lewis will be retained because Mike Brown is too cheap to carry 2 coach contracts.

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:39 PM)

Mr. Brown,Don't worry , I believe they will loosen up some after this dismal season. No I don't see a dramatic change but I'm thinking there has to be some different faces around that franchise for the Browns to move forward.

Justin (Queens, NY)

Hey Moll-man, Happy turkey day! I'm a tempered Jet enthusiast. Despite all the glowing reports and superbowl mania (you should hear the sports radio talk around NY), I feel the Steelers are the team to beat in the AFC. Their D is tops and Rothlesburger is as profficient as they come, but really I think its their experience that gives them the egde. Your thoughts?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:43 PM)

Justin,Nice breakdown of the whole situation. Yes the Steelers are for real but so are the Titans- I'm happy for the Jets fans as it's been a long time for a positive player like Favre to walk those streets. TItans, Steelers, (Jets and Pat's are very closely matched)- Let's see how the stretch run comes out.

Darren (MN)

Should I drop Hillis to pick up McFadden for the fantasy playoffs?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:45 PM)

Darren, McFadden , Hillis has done a nice job for the Broncos but Darren MC is the real deal.

CC (Atlanta)

If the Falcons win the South and continue the worst-to-1st trend, how shocking would that be? There isn't one person that saw this coming.

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:47 PM)

CC,Tommy "D" (Atlanta GM) is a good friend of mine and I am so happy for him and the Falcon fans. NO ONE saw it coming and yes that would be extremely strange with the worst to first thing !!

Ernie (Lansing, MI)

what's your prediction for Aaron Rodgers tonight?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:48 PM)

Ernie,I see both QB's having big games. Aaron will be about 250 yards and a couple of TD's

Morgan (Baltimore)

Did you see the referee pick the DB guarding Marvin Harrison on the fourth down play last night? Does that happen often? I thought it was pretty funny, but neither of the announcers commented on it.

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:50 PM)

Morgan,Marvin (and other receivers) do that on purpose. Receivers get a "natural" rub by running close to the Ref and obviously there is nothing a defender can do about it. Another tough loss for the Chargers !!

Sonny, nyc

I'm having trouble deciding if I should go with Driver or Colston tonight.

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:55 PM)

Sonny,Both have a chance to put up big numbers tonight but I would go with Colston.

Ben (Baltimore)

is there any reason the ravens shouldnt resign ray lewis

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:57 PM)

Ben,NO there isn't a reason they shouldn't resign him unless he is just unreasonable about how much $ he is asking for! He can still play at a high level not not the best in the league.

JimDog

Mr. Moll, over/under for tonight's game is 51.5, what do you think?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (5:59 PM)

JimDog ( Great Name) - I believe there will be a ton of points scored tonight so I would go over !

Eric (Painesville, OH)

OK, Ken, I see that Sportscenter will have a Brees v Rodgers, who has the edge? What do you think? And, better TE tonight, Shockey or Lee?

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (6:00 PM)

Eric,Brees does better and Shockey also has a better night --

Scouts Inc.'s Ken Moll
  (6:01 PM)

Fella'sIt's been great, talk to next week and don't put too much gravey on those "TATERS" But eat well---------

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:02 PM)

Alright kids. Let's rock and roll.

Jeff (Seattle)

would you start McNabb or Sage next week?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:04 PM)

I'd go with McNabb, who I think Reid has stuck himself with for at least another week.

dana(wisconsin)

does anyone believe barnwell's article????

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:08 PM)

Dana's referring to my article this week on Monday Night Football, at http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3717733.Apparently, historical trends don't matter when it comes to analyzing performance. Of the 50 teams that have scored 30 defensive points in a season since 1995 (the Packers have 48 at the moment), do you know how many have scored more than 30 the year after? One!

Michael (KC)

Bill! Happy Thanksgiving sir! Which one to start next week? Jennings @ Car or Bowe @ Nnamdi?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:08 PM)

Jennings. Better offense, and he should be able to create space deep.

Scott (Illinois)

Any update on Bush? In/Out?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:09 PM)

No word yet. If there's an update during my hour here, I'll let you know.

Steve (syracuse, NY)

Jeesh, my cuse finally wins a big game, followed up by my titans just falling over. I knew the football gods would get me. Anyway, do you think the Titans are still in good position? How do you think the injuries will hurt them going forward?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:10 PM)

It's pretty much just prep-for-the-playoffs time for the Titans, who have ten wins with games against Detroit, Cleveland, and Houston still to go. Even losing one of those games would give them 12 games and that should be enough to guarantee them a playoff spot and have them in the running for home field advantage. They just need to rest their guys up.

Adam (Chicago)

How do you see the Bears/Vikings game playing out next weekend? If you like the Vikings, would the suspension of the Williams boys change your opinion?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:11 PM)

Well, considering their entire defense is built around the play of the Les Williams Dangereux, yes. I think it's going to be hard for them to win at all without their two star defensive tackles.

Will J (Portland, OR)

Bill, Andy Reid benching McNabb for poor play was very undermining of his QB. Donovan has better all around stats than Roethlisbeger, and he hasn't been bench yet.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:13 PM)

It was the wrong time to make what might be the right move. McNabb's been awful the past two weeks; a total mechanical mess, but bringing in Kolb without any prep for the second half of a game against the Ravens? Bad idea.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:13 PM)

As usual, I say this: Ask a question over and over again and I'll guarantee that I don't answer it.

Steiny (NYC)

Where was Philadelphia Eagles RB Brian Westbrook yesterday?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:14 PM)

Stuck against the Ravens. Warned you in the fantasy matchups column last week that the Giants' performance was an (impressive) exception, not the rule.

Steiny (NYC)

Will Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson ever be what he was two years ago?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:15 PM)

Everything's changed for Johnson contextually. Even if he hadn't been subjected to the Curse of 370, his offensive line is significantly worse and his quarterback isn't anywhere near as good. If he gets in the right situation again, he could have a year or two comparable to 2006, but it's not likely.

Corey (Virginia)

Why can't the Chargers finish games!? We should be at least 8-3; Carolina, Denver, Pittsburg, and now Indy have beat us late. Why?? Is it our defense? Coaching? Just looking for some closure. Thanks!

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:17 PM)

Mix of everything. Coaching's not great. Secondary's playing much worse than it did last year. I wrote early in the year that Cromartie wasn't going to have a big interception year (based upon the history of guys with 10+ interception seasons, of course) and got a bunch of angry letters from people. Cromartie's got two picks this year.

Chris (Saratoga Springs)

Bill, the Colts seemed to have put a nice run together after their rough start, but I don't see them going much past the first wildcard game. Peyton just doesn't look right to me, no arm stregnth for some reason, I guess we'll have to wait until the year ends to find out. Whats your thoughts?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:18 PM)

I think Peyton looks alright, if not the deadly weapon he was in previous years. All they need to do is make sure they get to the playoffs. The '06 Colts looked awful heading into the postseason; the '07 Giants were terrible and then had a great Week 17 game against the Pats before elevating their game in the playoffs. Just get there and anything can happen.

Haden (memphis)

When will the league decide on the Starcaps suspensions?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:19 PM)

As soon as they can get all the lawyers in the same room. Maybe this week?

Samuel (CA)

What's Marty Schottenheimer up to nowadays? Does he have a future next year as an NFL coach?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:20 PM)

Not sure what he's doing nowadays but it's hard to find a more successful NFL coach who's available than Schotty. I know about the playoff record, but if you're Cleveland, shouldn't you be less concerned about doing well in the playoffs and more concerned about just getting there?

Will J (Portland, OR)

Bill, what are the biggest differences between this years Dolphins and last years? Would've guessed that they'd be in the playoff hunt after such a dismal season.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:21 PM)

Communication from the coaching staff to the players, although Joey Porter's refusal to come out of the game last week isn't a good sign. Secondary's playing better. Offensive line's playing much better. Both Nick Saban and Cam Cameron left a lot to be desired when it came to their offensive line analysis.

Ed (J'ville)

Bill, I'm a Packer fan and I found your article quite interesting. Can't remember if you mentioned this, but I think another reason why the Packers D won't keep up the pace is because of the weather/environment. With some of the games being at ice-cold Lambeau, teams will naturally throw less (Packers strength) and run more (Packers weakness). They don't strip the ball nearly as well as other teams, so there won't be as many opportunities to score.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:26 PM)

I think that doesn't help, either, but there's definitely examples of warm weather teams not keeping up their trends too. San Francisco in 1999 had six TOs through 11 games and then zero the rest of the way; St. Louis had five through 11 in 1995 and then zero. '98 Falcons had five through 11 and then 1 the rest of the way. There's just not a relationship between how a team did through ten games with defensive touchdowns and how they did in the final six. None.

Lassie, NY

Bills Defense -- great game Sun. How do you see going forward?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:26 PM)

31 points to the Chiefs certainly isn't my definition of great game.

Seth (Minneapolis, MN)

Why does the Packers defense get so much flack? Sure, they aren't good against the run, but they make opposing QBs look absolutely stupid. Collins and Woodson BOTH are at the top with 5 picks so far this year. Plus, they're tops for fantasy points this year! Can you please just tell me that Drew Brees is going to blow it tonight?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:27 PM)

Collins and Woodson are both having great years, no doubt. The Packers D is playing well -- all I'm saying is that they're not going to be scoring at the level they have been over the first ten games into the future. That's all.

Will J (Portland, OR)

Bill, I'm sad, this will be the first time in like 5 season we won't get a chance to see Joey Harrington playing on Thanksgiving Day.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:29 PM)

And he'll celebrate by filling at the last moment for his wife when she suddenly can't cook the turkey, only to burn it and be benched for another cook halfway through the day.

Andrew(tx)

do you think the Cowboys can beat the Giants now that everybodys healthy

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:29 PM)

Yeah, but their offensive line is going to have to play an awesome game. And Romo's going to have to be actually healthy, not just on the field.

Johnluke (Jersey City, NJ)

Bill, after the Jets big win versus Tennessee sunday afternoon, would it be safe to say that the Jets are clearly the best team in the AFC?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:32 PM)

Meh. I think at the moment, they're playing as the best team in the AFC. They lost to Oakland. That still counts for something.

ROB (AUSTIN LONGHORN)

what are your thoughts on Steve Slaton. I keep hearing how he is losing his legs and doing what all rookie backs seem to do? SHould i be concerned?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:33 PM)

Our research into the rookie wall has shown that it's pretty easy to climb, and that guys in the second half actually play better than they do in the first. Whatever they lose from being tired gets counteracted by their improvements in learning the playbook and feeling more comfortable at the NFL level.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

Wait, did you just say a defense that gave up 300 yds passing to shaun hill has got a fair shot at the champs? feh.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:35 PM)

When Quick Reads for Week 12 goes up on ESPN later today, there's a long introduction from yours truly about how yards are an awful misleading statistic. This would be one of those cases.

Tina (Portland, Oregon)

Assuming Willie Parker is out next week would you start LJ or Mewelde Moore- Thanks!

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:35 PM)

LJ against a pretty poor Oakland rush defense.

Will J (Portland, OR)

Bill, I know it'll be a little while, but when do you think the Colts and Pats will begin to look to heir apparents to Peyton and Brady?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:36 PM)

They're only 32 and 31, respectively. They've honestly got a few more years to go -- quarterbacks can last a long time in this league, especially elite ones like Brady and Manning.

Chris (Saratoga Springs)

Bill, how long do you give Pacman before he is banned for life? I say before this year is over.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:36 PM)

I'll just say that I hope it doesn't happen.

brad (tx)

is there any hope for a oakland playoff run?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:37 PM)

Yeah! Matt Holliday's going to be the centerpiece of that lineup and they should get Eric Chavez ba...oh, you mean the Raiders? Really?

Erich (Minneapolis, MN)

Hey, why is everyone picking this saints packers game so close? the packers are going to run away with it, the pass D is tops in the league, for those who doubt we played dallas in their pre-injury prime, tampa, atlanta for good passing offenses...and the NO secondary is weak, and rodgers will be able to take advantage of it easily, especially with help from a resurgent grant...bush being out and mcalister(sp?)'s knee being injured will only help the packers porous run D..the only reason the packers dont have more INTs is because the teams stopped throwing to them, the saints wont be able to do that..

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:40 PM)

I don't know about teams not throwing at them anymore. We have their pass defense as second-best in the league behind Tennessee, pending their game tonight.

David (Santa Rosa, CA)

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Bill. I'm close to winning my elimination pool and need your help. Who is the better bet to win on Thanksgiving, the Cowboys or Titans?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:40 PM)

Likewise David. I have to go with Tennessee. I mean...it's the Lions.

Josh (Chicago, IL)

Go Bears! Need a RB replacement due to a player going on IR. Would Leon Washington, Kevin Smith, Hillis be worth a pickup? If Bulkhalter goes down and Westbrook is still severely hobbled, who'd get the bulk of the carries for the Eagles?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:40 PM)

I think Smith is probably your best bet just because he'll get the most carries of the three. Maybe the Eagles will move McNabb to halfback.

Ben (SF)

What are the chances Witten recovers enough to warrant a starting spot this week? Its vs. Seattle, but he hasn't done much these past two weeks. Time to find another TE?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:41 PM)

He's had rough matchups the last two weeks and he's playing with a broken rib. He'll be fine.

will (colorado)

who do you think the wild card teams for both conferences will be

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:42 PM)

Patriots, Ravens, Bucs, Cowboys.

Will (STL)

Bill, great chat as always. What kind of output can we expect from Westbrook going forward? He has played well injured in the past.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:43 PM)

The biggest thing that people haven't talked about in Philly is the loss of Shawn Andrews, who's their best offensive lineman and an absolute mauler up front. I think they miss him a lot. Westbrook's also played well in the past with injuries, but that was with a steady offense around him. The offense is anything but steady at the moment. We've found that quarterback injuries have a stronger impact on the running game than even running back or offensive line injuries, and while McNabb's not hurt, having him not play well is undoubtedly causing their ground game some issues.

Matt Forte (Chicago)

I'm going to go over 370 in my rookie year. What is in store for me in the years to come?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:45 PM)

You're on pace for 322, you'll be fine.

Adam (Louisville, KY)

Bill, I think you're confused the Colts hold the tie breaker over both your AFC Wildcards and have the most favorable schedule the rest of the way....

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:46 PM)

They also have a +3 point differential and have won five games by a touchdown or less. They're just not a great team.

Lassie, NY

Bill. of course I meant "fantasy" game. And I'd call 3 sacks, 3 fumbles, 2 INT's and one returned for touchdown...not bad at all. How do you see going forward?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:47 PM)

Well hey, they did get a lot of stuff, that's true. I think that they're an underrated defense, but they're not going to have that sort of huge fantasy barrage the rest of the way.

ally (Bahamas)

12 team league, no ppr, breaston a good pick up to replace Camarillo?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:47 PM)

Looks like it. They're making a concerted effort to give him the ball, which makes him a viable WR3/flex guy.

jason thomas (winnie,tx)

is it safe to say that tha 2 best teams in football is in new york and how likely is it that they'll play vs each other in tha superbowl..

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:49 PM)

No on the first part -- I still put Tennessee over the Jets based upon their season's work as opposed to one game. How likely is it that they'll play in the Super Bowl? Before this week, we had the Giants with a 42 percent chance of winning the NFC and the Jets with an 11 percent chance of winning the AFC. That would be a 4% chance of them both making it to the SB. Even if their chances have gone up dramatically this week, it's not up to more than 7-8% total.

Adam (Chicago)

The Curse of 370 doesn't include receptions? Getting tackled after you catch the ball is less problimatic than if you carry it?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:50 PM)

Research we've done in I believe Pro Football Prospectus 2006 showed that catches weren't anywhere near as taxing as carries. It makes sense if you think about it -- getting tackled by a 180-pound corner isn't as damaging as getting absorbed by a 350-pound tackle.

jake (louisville)

Bill, like to know who you like better tonight for a fantasy play lance moore, or marques colston im in a toss up here moore playing well for consecutive weeks but is colston due to put up big again after bad week thanx

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:51 PM)

I don't think either Moore or Colston are a great play, but in that scenario, you want the guy who's most likely to get the ball. That's Colston.

Will J (Portland, OR)

I know this question was long overdue, but whatever happened to Ernest Wilford? Wasn't he suppose to be Miami's #1 receiver at the beginning of the season?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:52 PM)

He made a bad impression in training camp, got buried in the doghouse, and never recovered. Ever since a terrible practice in September with multiple drops that led to him being chewed out by Tony Sparano, he's been inactive and he'll likely be cut this offseason.

Andrew(nm)

how far do you see the Cowboys going in the playoffs if they make it

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:53 PM)

Anything is possible. They could get blown out in the first round or win the Super Bowl.

jake (louisville)

giants lose to BROWNS and still #1 titans 10-0 lose to jets a very good team when clicking and everyone drops titans this is silly records speak for them selves guys

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:53 PM)

Not really. There are better indicators of future performance than win-loss record.

Ted (LA)

Derrick Ward, Leon Washington and Hillis performed well this week, do you see that continuing or are they going to disappear as their starters return to form?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:55 PM)

I think Ward has potential as a short-term play with Jacobs' injury. Washington and Hillis will have roles in the offense the rest of the way.

Will J (Portland, OR)

Do you think Lewis will lose his job in Cincy after the season? There hasn't been much talk about this, and their record is worst than Cleveland's.

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:55 PM)

Yeah, I think so. I think everyone realizes that he's got less to work with than Crennel does, but then again, that's also his fault.

Chris (wyoming)

do you think Tashard Choice will have as much of an impact as Felix Jones

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:56 PM)

Nah, totally different type of player. Choice should be a useful backup, though. As for Jones, as explosive as he was, anointing him as a future star despite having only 266 rushing yards is a little premature.

jason thomas (winnie,tx)

u still put tha titans ahead of the jets cause it was jus one game, isnt tha playoffs based on one game...and not what u did over tha course of tha season

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:57 PM)

What?

Mal Orland Park IL

I know this is a little early but what five players would you keep for next year.Reggie Wayne,Andre Johnson, Darren McFadden, Michael Turner,Jay Cutler, Jonathan Stewart,Deangelo Williams,Larry Johnson

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:57 PM)

AJ, Turner, Cutler, Wayne, LJ.

JT (Boston)

How much will the packers crush the saints by tonight?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:58 PM)

Is 7 crushing?

Jason (Durham)

Sorry for another fantasy question, but I need 4 points to win: Colston or Deuce?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:58 PM)

Definitely Deuce.

jake (louisville)

good point i just think a team without all the so called allstars coming together winning games even when down and 10-0 to lose to good team that was on top of thier game have been the most impressive team to me anyways and as late in season its still too early this year to predict its still upin the air for half the league

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (6:59 PM)

What you said, I think.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

What team do you think will pay the most for Matt Cassel? What teams do you think want Matt Cassel?

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (7:01 PM)

Ooh. What team will pay the most? I'll say 49ers. What teams are likely to be in the Cassel running? Not a ton. Patriots. Maybe the Dolphins. Kansas City. Maybe Philly. Minnesota. Detroit. Super darkhorse: Jets, but obviously, only if Favre retires.

Sam (Lake Bluff, IL)

Finish this sentence: The Bears can win the NFC North if...

Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell
  (7:01 PM)

...they beat Green Bay in Week 16.I'm out, thanks everyone.

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:02 PM)

OK, more MNF. Should be a great game tonight.. Lots of passing and lots of points.

jason thomas (winnie,tx)

should maybe tha houston texans look into tryin to accauire mcnabb if indeed he does get put on tha choppin block

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:03 PM)

No.. McNabb is a fine QB but has never been the most accurate one.. He would need to learn a whole new system in Houston. One that is VERY different than the "west coast" offense he played in Philly. It would take too long and not have enough dividends..

Ryan Hudson, NH

Should I put in Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers this week for Fantasy Football

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:04 PM)

Tough one.. But I would have a hard time going against Brees no matter who they are playing.

Fire Carl (MN)

Is there any hope for my Chiefs in 2009? The only thing that gets me through 07 and 08 is that we're not the Raiders (but we're still looking up at them in the standings).

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:05 PM)

Does not look good.. They have a lot of issues on both sides of the ball.. That being said, look at Atlanta.. Example of how a couple good FA signings and a couple good draft picks can truly turn a team around.

Steiny (NYC)

Would you say Ben Roethlisberger is in the Top 5 best quarterbackā??s in the NFL?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:07 PM)

I like Big Ben.. But I wouldn't put him up that high, myself.. Top ten but I don't see him as a top five. He holds on to the ball too often and really needs a strong ground game around him to be successfull.

Steiny (NYC)

Is Mike McCarthy a better head coach than Sean Payton?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:07 PM)

No.. Payton is a superior offensive head coach.. Mike is a good HC but not superior in any one aspect of the game.

jnova

is bush in or out

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:08 PM)

Haven't heard anything difinitive, but my guess is that he will play.

Mark (Cotati, CA)

Happy Thanksgiving, Doug. What's your prediction for tonight?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:10 PM)

Happy Thanksgiving, Mark.. Enjoy your turkey.. I see NO by four points..

Ryan ,Hudson NH

How do you feel about the Pats for the rest of the season and possibly the playoffs

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:12 PM)

I see two more losses, max.. And a wild card berth..

steve,ca

Hi Doug New Orleans website officially has Bush as inactivewww.neworleanssaints.com

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:12 PM)

thanks for the update.

Jay

Happy Thanksgiving Doug. Do u think that Packers are guessing the letting go of Brett Farve

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:14 PM)

No, they knew what they had. There were issues with how he likes to take chances and McCarthy wanted his QB to play within the system, more.. Favre and GM Thomson didn't see eye to eye and it was becoming a difficult situation that had to play out the way it did.

Money Mic (Orlando Fl)

Do you think the cowboys are to late to make the playoffs?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:16 PM)

It's definately late, but not too late.. They control their own destiny. Tough schedule ahead of them but at least three of the four are at home and the final game (Phily) is winable as the Eagles are struggling these days..

Are, the (NH)

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! I dont like the cowboys.

Ryan

Who is the most underrated team in the NFL right now

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:17 PM)

Don't see a lot of people talking about Tampa Bay, yet they keep on winning.

Ryan

How good are the Jets if Brett Favre had retired

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:18 PM)

If they had Pennington at QB probably three more losses..

Adam (Louisville, KY)

Hey Doug, Bill before you said that his teams in the AFC wildcard were Baltimore and New England and that Indy wasn't good enough of a team, with the remaining schedule do you really think thats going to happen?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:19 PM)

I see NE.. But I'd put Indy in instead of Baltimore.. Payton and co are hitting their stride.

Nate (Longview)

Doug, do you think the NFC West will produce a super bowl winner in the next five years.... or ever?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:21 PM)

Not in the next five years.. The best shot would be from Arizona and I don't see Warner being able to get them there and Liinart is still to much of a ?? for me..

BILL

Does anyone think the Vikings are going to make the playoffs this year?

Mac (Ashland PA)

Were will Bill Cower coach next year?? does he even have the itch to come back??

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:23 PM)

Two teams have a chance.. Cleveland and KC. If he goes to Cleveland he would have a hard time ever setting foot in Pitsburgh.. I'm not totally convinced KC is going to fire H.E.

Jon (Long Beach, Ca)

Hi Doug! Thanks for answering questions. If you had to rate these running backs going forward how would you rate them for fantasy purposes..Mewelde Moore, Maurice Morris, Darren McFadden, Leon Washington, Jerious Norwood, and Le'Ron Mclain. Thanks again!

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:24 PM)

I love McFadden and what he can bring. After him, I'd go with Washington, Norwood, McLain, Morris and then Moore.

Rohan (Mobile, Alabama)

Doug, Do you think the Detriot Lions are going to win a playoff game in the next five years?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:26 PM)

Logically, no.. They have too many holes to fill.. Good foundation with C. Johnson but they need a QB, O line, D line, and secondary.. Way too many holes..

Will J (Portland, OR)

Who do you think is in a worst predicament, Leinart or Vince Young? Both Warner and Collins are playing pretty good.

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:27 PM)

Young.. Warner is simply getting too old to last much longer. Young scares me because of his emotional questions.. I think Leinart is tougher, psychologically.

Ramon (St. Paul, MN)

Hey doug, Do you think the vikings are going to make the playoffs this year?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:28 PM)

I did at the beginning of the season.. Too many soap opera issues between coach and players..

columbus, oh

is reggie bush still game time decision or is he ruled out?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:29 PM)

Sounds like the Saints have deactivated him for this game.

Lee (Columbia, SC)

Whats going on Doug! Quick question for you.. With Reggie Bush out for the game what are the Saints chances? I like the Packers in this one. Thanks Doug

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:30 PM)

I still like the Saints.. Brees loves to go to Bush, but he is such a good QB that he will still find a way to spread the wealth and score points.

Jimmy (New York)

Who would you pick to win a Giants Jets superbowl

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:31 PM)

It could happen. The G-men are simply dominating opponents in virtually evey phase of the game. I'd go with the NYG.

Roger (Oakland)

With philly caught in a downward spiral, do you think Kevin Curtis or DeSean Jackson are worth holding on to? Also, do you see Roy Williams being relevant this season? Or only pulling double coverage off TO?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:32 PM)

Jackson will still produce - returns as well as receiving.

jake (louisville)

jets wont b in superbowl sorry

Zach (WA)

d lee or j shockey

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:33 PM)

Shockey.. He respects Brees and will do what Drew tells him to do and, especially with Bush out of the picture he will get even more looks.

Rick (Tampa,FL)

Happy Thanksgiving to all the nation and our host the one and only DK. (LETS GO PACK)

Steiny (NYC)

Has Aaron Rodgers done a good job replacing Brett Favre at QB?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:34 PM)

An adequate job, more than a good one. Takes too many sacks for my taste.. I like him, but not in love with him.

Kim (New Jersey)

Pierre Thomas or Deuce with Reggie Bush out?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:35 PM)

Deuce

Steiny (NYC)

Are Donald Driver's days as an elite WR over?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:36 PM)

No, he's still elite.. Just not getting as many chances as Rodgers likes to check down more than Favre did.

Steiny (NYC)

Can you see Sage Rosenfels eventually replacing Matt Schaub as the starting QB for the Houston Texans once he returns from his injury?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:38 PM)

No, Schaub knows his limitations better than Rosenfels knows his..

Steiny (NYC)

Tony Gonzalez = lock HOF?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:38 PM)

first vote

Mike (Norcross)

Looking at the Colts schedule, they have Cleveland, Cincinatti, Detroit, Jacksonville and Tennessee (in a week 17 game where the Titans might be resting up). What do you think the chances are of the Colts going undefeated down the stretch?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:39 PM)

Good.. Tennessee is still apt to be the toughest game, even if they "rest" their players..

Lucifer (KC)

Why do you keep anwering the same guys Q's all of the time? Please rate these 4 in order for the rest of the year...Housh, Evans, Vjax, Ginn Jr.Sorry if my name isn't Stieny...

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:40 PM)

Sorry... Don't look at the names above the ??s just look at the questions.. VJax, Ginn, Evans, Housh - in that order.

steve (spring)

i like Sage, but he makes to many mentally and dumb decisions. Doesn't have the common sense of a real good QB

Ryan (RI)

What are your impressions of Matt Cassel?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:41 PM)

Good in that system.. safe QB that does not try to do things he shouldn't .. He's not a difference maker but he is a good game manager..

Ed Hochuli (Chat Ref)

That's a personal foul against Lucifer, whining about the chat, 15 yards and repeat 3rd down

Kris ( North Pole)

True/False:Driver will have a TD vs Saints D/ST without McKenzie in the line up!

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:42 PM)

True

Jon (Marquette, MI)

What is your take on sitting quarterbacks for at least 2 years, example: Cassell, Rodgers, compared to starting Qbs straight out of college: Russell, Smith, Ryan

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:43 PM)

Big in favor of sitting them for two years.. Ryan looks like he will be the real deal but I can't help but think he would have come on the scene even better if he had had a couple of years to learn.. It's a big risk putting in a QB that early.

Mike (Norcross)

Do you think Steven Jackson will get over the injury bug and be a respectable fantasy player at all for the rest of the year, or is he better suited for my bench behind Portis and Lynch?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:43 PM)

I'd sit him until next year.

Lucifer (KC)

At least it's not a loss of down, Ed. Maybe you got the rules mixed up, again...Thanks Doug. Happy T-Day.

Trey (TX)

Hey Dougie Fresh! I'm in quite a dilemma and need big points. Who has the better game Pierre Thomas or Donald Driver?!

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:44 PM)

Driver.

dave (milwaukee)

i'm worried about mcnabb going forward. who do you like for the rest of year as insurance: hill, rosenfels (when does schaub return), hasselbeck? thanks.

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:44 PM)

I have a feeling Hasselbeck will finish strong.

Greg (Chicago)

With all these top draft picks, will the raiders ever become a top quality team?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:45 PM)

Yes, if they can get a football guy to run the show and AD takes a step back.. Too much drama with Al around.

Steven (Detroit)

With the 1st overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft the Detroit Lions select....

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:46 PM)

A WR..

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:46 PM)

Actually, Steven.. It's WAY too early to speculate.. I'd guess they go with a lineman (either O or D)..

Josh (Milwaukee, WI)

True/False: The Packers secondard will have one or more intceptions tonight against Drew Brees.

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:46 PM)

False..

andrew, ny, long island

hey doug, i disagree with you on the buccaneers being the most underated team in the nfl, let alone underated. they are a good home team, but they r in my opinion a really bad road team, and there last 2 road games vs the chiefs and lions they feel behind big real fast, and if it werent for playing those 2 horrendous teams, they wouldve lost both games. if they make the playoffs unless they win the division, they will not make it past the first round.

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:48 PM)

The bottom line, Andrew is that they continue to win.. No losses to weak teams, so far this season.

Matt Millen (polishing up the resume)

A football guy, Doug? Like me for instance?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:48 PM)

Did I forget to mention "a good" football guy?

Ben (SF)

Portis added yet another injury to his list, and he gets the Giants and Baltimore in the next two weeks. Does he slow down, or continue to produce?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:49 PM)

He'll continue to produce.. He is a WARRIOR..

Erich (Minneapolis, MN)

In reference to your comment about too many sacks for A Rodg, yea its kind of annoying as a fan at home to watchim him go down, but cant you attribute part of it to very poor oline play while they were dealing with injuries? weve seen sacks go down as they got healthier, especially against the bears D when i dont think they even had a pressure in the first half

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:51 PM)

That's part of the issue.. But he still needs to learn to get rid of the ball quicker when under pressure.. I know he has a quick release when he is clicking.. I scouted him in college.. He just needs to be more in command on the field.. Quicker to make the decision.

Tony (Chicago)

Matt, you couldn't work in the mail room for an NFL team.

Kahn (Lawrence)

Come February in Tampa Bay the GGGGGG-MEN will meet......

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:52 PM)

The trophy? Serously, I still think they will play the Titans in the SB..

Roosh (Alameda, CA)

Will Mike Singletary be back as the 49ers head coach next season?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:53 PM)

I'd like to see that happen.. He is changing the way the 49rs are playing.. Unfortunately it is not apt to happen

Mike (STL)

If McNabb performs poorly this Thursday, is his future in Philly in jeopardy?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:53 PM)

I hear his future is in jeopardy either way.

Julio

Who do you think will win the game tonight???

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:54 PM)

N.O.

Tommy

Should i start Pierre Thomas or Colston in my flex option tonight

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:55 PM)

Colston

Tyler (Chicago)

Do you believe in Kurt Warner's chance in winning the MVP?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:56 PM)

Good.. He is having a great year.. He has to be one of the 3-4 considerations..

Roosh (Alameda, CA)

is Shaun Hill the answer for San Fran?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:57 PM)

Not long term.. He's a good backup that can manage a team if needed.

Alec (Ohio)

What do the browns need to do first to correct the secondary?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:57 PM)

Get a pass rush.

Brett (Rimersburg,PA)

True or false doug,The Titans are still the best team in the NFL? Thanks!

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:58 PM)

I'd have to go with false.. I like the NYG at this point.

Evan (Shreveport, LA)

Do you see the Steelers as a legit Super Bowl Contender?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (7:59 PM)

With their defense they are a serious contender.. Not a favorite but a definate consideration.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

What team is the most pathetic in the NFL?

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (8:00 PM)

I'd go with Detroit..

Brady (Colorado)

US! THE CHIEFS!

Scouts Inc.'s Doug Kretz
  (8:00 PM)

Out of time.. Enjoy the game, tonite.. Lots of passes and lots of points..

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:02 PM)

Alright, everyone -- let's talk Pack, Saints, the NFL in general, Chinese Democracy ... whatever you've got!

Tony (Chicago)

Would you dump the Philly D for Dalls D the rest of the way, given the fact that McNab gives the opp team the ball every other possession, deep in their own territory, no less.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:03 PM)

Given the way they played against the Niners last week, it's a serious consideration. They have a quality front seven, somewhat suspect secondary. Jay Ratliff is a beast.

Mike

Is Bush Playing tonight?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:03 PM)

Reggie's inactive. Pierre Thomas, who I like a lot, will take the start.

Brady (Colorado)

The Who>Guns n' Roses any day my friend.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:04 PM)

Well, there is that.

jay fresno,ca

what do the niner's need to do to return there glory days?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:05 PM)

Draft a franchise quarterback, decide on an offensive philosophy that fits their personnel, and retool their secondary.

Tim

is colston playing tonight?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:05 PM)

Yes.

Roosh (Alameda, CA)

Who is the niner's head coach next seaon?

Tim

is colston playing tonight?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:06 PM)

This could go two ways, if you ask me -- maybe they go with a big college splash like Carroll OR they have something worked out with Holmgren and they keep Singletacy in the interim.

Tyler (Chicago)

What team will end up winning the NFC North?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:06 PM)

Packers.

Dave (Honolulu, HI)

Doug,Moore or Colston tonight?I need GB to beat NO 98 to 95 with Moore and Driver catching 8 TDs each.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:06 PM)

Colston can break Green Bay's man coverage a little better.

Arlington Va

Imagine a Packers Jets Superbowl. There would be so many great story lines. example Mentor meets Student

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:07 PM)

I'd have to hide after the 5,000th Favre story.

Maurice Morris, Seattle WA

Will Julius Jones' injury sideline him for next week? I want the rock!

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:07 PM)

Mo, I think you'll get it.

BJ (Easton, CT)

Need Moore to get 65 yds and TD or 125 yds to win...You like the odds?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:08 PM)

Possible -- you have to like anyone in Brees' sightline.

kent (chicago)

if kolb were to start in philly in the next few weeks, would he be a better fantasy option than say, hill, rosenfels or hasselbeck?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:09 PM)

Hasselbeck -- something's wrong there. Hill's been vulnerable to pressure like any Martz quarterback. Wouldn't touch Rosenfels with a 10-foot pole, but I have no idea what Kolb can do. Frankly, it was nuts to put him out there againsst the Ravens,

Phil (Ann Arbor, MI)

Is Matt Ryan the best rookie QB ever? Do the Falcons have the best rookie class this year? Which is the hardest division in the NFC? And lastly, can we say that the NFC is better than AFC this year, as opposed to years past?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:10 PM)

He's close. Falcons may very well have the best draft. Still the East, though the South is right there. NFC has the edge.

Mike (Detroit)

Why are you picking Deuce over Thomas? Don't you think Thomas has outplayed Deuce?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:11 PM)

? I am a big Pierre Thomas fan. Like what he can do against the GB defense.

Dave (Pittsburgh)

How do you see the Steelers (and in particular, Big Ben) doing these next few weeks.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:12 PM)

SICK defense. Just unreal. Polamalu might be the DPOY if Harrison isn't. Questions surround the line and running game. They get that sorted out, they could cause some real headaches.

Mike (No Cal)

Need to start 1 WR in my PPR league tonight from Driver, Moore and Colston. Do I go with the Saints #1 passing attack (and if so, Moore or Colston) or bet against their weak secondary and choose Driver?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:12 PM)

With McKenzie and Tracy Porter done for the year, take anyone roaming around in that NO secondary.

Mike (Detroit, MI)

Is Pierre Thomas starting or Deuce? Who do you like more from a fantasy perspective and why?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:13 PM)

Pierre. More mobile, can catch. Reminds me a little of Dominic Rhodes.

Reggie Bush

Who says I'm not start tonight. This Doug dude don't know what he's talking about.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:14 PM)

Hate to break this to you, Reg, but you're on the inactive list.

Tommy

Colston or Thomas in my flex tonight

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:14 PM)

I'm going out on a limb with Thomas.

Randy (Baltimore)

Do you think the Pitt at Bmore game will decide the AFC North?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:15 PM)

Yes indeedy.

Reggie Bush

Doug I'm on TV right now, I'm starting man!

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:15 PM)

Saints declared RB Reggie Bush, third QB Joey Harrington, CB Aaron Glenn, CB David Pittman, FB Mike Karney, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, OT Jermon Bushrod, and WR David Patten inactive for Monday Night Football.

Jerome Bettis (Detroit, Michigan)

Hey doug, Its the BUS! will my main willie parker start for the Steelers or will mewelde moore carry the rock? Thanks doug,The BUS

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:16 PM)

Hey, Jerome. I heard you were from Detroit. Is that true? Anyhoo, I think the hot hand will get the rock, and I wouldn't be surprisaed if that's Moore down the stretch.

Portis for President

Do you think portis will win MVP

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:17 PM)

If he stays healthy and the Skins make the playoffs, good possibility. Warner's probably in the lead, though.

Joseph Levine (NJ)

Why has Ryan Grant been able to turn it on as of late? And I want to see a football team in NJ, any chance of Detroits team moving here (preferably without the present members)?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:18 PM)

Seems to be a late bloomer, as he was last year. Would you really want the Lions?

Randy (Baltimore)

Who has the best chance to beat the Giants in the NFC playoffs?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:19 PM)

If you believe in strength on strength, maybe the Panthers. Power running game, strong pass rush. Giants have a wonderful offensive line -- that's really making the diff. for them this year.

Mike (Rohnert Park, CA)

Happy Turkey Day, Doug. Need this to win my office pool...who wins tonight?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:20 PM)

And to you as well! I think Green Bay's better pass defense will make the difference. Pack 31, Saints 27.

Andrew(Blairsville,PA)

After the win yesterday are the cowboys back?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:21 PM)

If they beat Seattle (likely), they're 8-4 and right back in it.

John Arlington Va

Clinton portis and Mike Sellers both commented on the quality of turf at Quest field. They said it was the worst turf they had ever played on and that they were bleeding all over. My question is, are NFL teams required to make there turf safe/comfortable

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:21 PM)

Ask Dan Rooney!

Michael Vick (Jail cell)

hey doug, will matt ryan be a contender for rookie of the year?oh and when i get out out of here im thinking of playing for the brownies!

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:22 PM)

No contention. it's over. He's the ROY. I'm not touching the other thing with a 50-foot pole.

John Madden (MaddenNation)

Hey Doug, I've been hearing a lot of talk about Favre for MVP, you know I'm all for it, what are your thoughts?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:24 PM)

John, quit stuffing the ballot box and get back to that Turducken! Seriously, he'll get some votes, but the Jets did so much to improve their team, I think you have to look at a guy making more of a one-man difference for MVP. You could just as easily argue that Kris Jenkins is the Jets' MVP.

Matt Cassel (NE)

Doug, I'm been so good lately. I want a starting gig for next year. Where is a good place I could end up?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:25 PM)

Anywhere a team doesn't understand the concept of adjusting for New England's offense, doesn't want to spend the time dveloping a quarterback from the draft, and misses out on McNabb.

Chad Johnson (Cinc)

Will the Bengals finally get rid of me this off-season? And any funny remarks, Dougy, and I'll come take your job.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:26 PM)

Don't know, Ocho. They had a first and a third on the line for you pre-draft, and they passed on THAT, which was pretty nuts.

bil, nj

thomas or driver in flex doug?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:26 PM)

Driver.

Andy Reid (Philadelphia)

Doug, I don't know what to do! If the Eagles fire me, who will I end up coaching next season?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:27 PM)

I don't think the Eagles fire you, but I could see you quitting and taking a year off like your buddy Mike Holmgren.

Cody Wiley (Winchester, KY)

Doug, are the Jet's for real? I'd like to think so, after two impressive road wins against the Pats and Titans, I think it could be a great year for them.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:28 PM)

Yes, they are. Offensive line getting better and better (dig that downfield blocking against the Titans) and Kris Jenkins killed Tannessee's running game. Favre is in a good system and this team could go far.

Greg Blache Washington DC

Why does my defense get no respect from the media. We are the 4th ranked Defense in the league and the reason the skins are 7-4

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:29 PM)

Because people are entranced by pass rush, and you have none. However, you are one quotable dude, Mr. Blache.

Andrew (Everett Wa)

Please Help...Last Minute...Shockey or Thomas...need 15 pts (.5 ppr)?!?!?!

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:30 PM)

Thomas. Dunno about Shockey just yet.

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

Doug, who will win the NFC North? And don't even tell me the Lions as a joke.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:30 PM)

The Pack.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:31 PM)

It's always nice to see the Superdome -- I'll never forget that re-opening when the Saints just went OFF on the Falcons. Never seen an atmosphere like that in my life.

Arun (Tampa, Fl)

Where do you find the Inactive List for Monday Night?!? HELP!!!

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:32 PM)

Saints declared RB Reggie Bush, third QB Joey Harrington, CB Aaron Glenn, CB David Pittman, FB Mike Karney, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, OT Jermon Bushrod, and WR David Patten inactive for Monday Night Football.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:32 PM)

Packers declared WR James Jones, third QB Brian Brohm, DB Charlie Peprah, RB DeShawn Wynn, LB Nick Barnett, OT Breno Giacomini, OL Allen Barbre, and DE Jeremy Thompson inactive for Week 12.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:32 PM)

Hey Al, I'm not answering your question. That's what happens when you post it 50 times.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:34 PM)

One thing to watch in this game - the Packers are ballhawks, but they're also very penalty-prone. A lof of man, a lot of flags.

Shawn (San Diego, CA)

Projected number of pass yards for Brees?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:34 PM)

300+, but a lot of it late trying to catch up.

Brandon Marshall Denver, Colorado

Whats up with me? I started out with three great games and now look at me. Im a mess should I bench myself?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:36 PM)

You have as much taent as any receiver in the NFL, but you're a bit undisciplined with your routes. Your quarterback has shut you quite a few dagger looks this year. Take a look at that Eddie Royal kid. He's going to take your throws if you're not careful...

Randy (Baltimore)

Who do you see as the NFC wildcards?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:37 PM)

Bucs, Skins.

Russell TX

Would you take the Over/Under for Thomas to get 100 yards of total offense tonight?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:37 PM)

Over. He can catch the ball and Brees will want checkdowns.

Will (New York, New York)

who're your top 4 teams in the NFL right now?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:38 PM)

In this order: Giants, Titans, Jets, Steelers.

Nathan (MN)

The Vikings QB next year is ____?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:39 PM)

Depends on the coach. If Childress is still there, McNabb wound't surprise me at all.

Matt Millen (on vacation in Pueblo, CO)

Isn't it funny that my old team the Lions haven't managed to win, even though I'm no longer running things! I thought their best chance for a W was against Tampa Bay, now I can totally see them losing all 16 - what do you think?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:40 PM)

Matt, it's going to take that poor team five years to erase what you did. And they could very well go 0-16.

matt (charlotte)

If i am coach fox of the carolina panthers.... should i start looking at the draft for a replacement for Jake Delhomme

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:40 PM)

Yep. Now'd be about the time.

Sam Baker (Atlanta, GA)

My back feels great as of late! What are the chances Coach Smith let's me play this weekend?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:41 PM)

Sam, I hope you are feeling better, because you impressed the heck out of me when I wrote about you for Football Outsiders earlier this season.

Tony (Wisconsin)

Is Mike McCarthy on the hot seat next year if the Pack don't go to the playoffs after there strong run last year

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:41 PM)

Not yet, though I think the Pack will make the playoffs.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:42 PM)

Wow -- didn't see the Aaron Rodgers/Sarah Palin comparison coming...

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:43 PM)

The guy to watch here is LT Chad Clifton -- he's been dominant one week and washed out the next. He's vital to Green Bay's chances.

Steiny (NYC)

Is the rookie Leodis McKelvin from Troy the real deal?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:43 PM)

Absolutely. Returns and in the secondary.

Steiny (NYC)

How long until Kevin Kolb fully replaces Donovan McNabb as the starting QB of the Philadelphia Eagles?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:44 PM)

Next year.

Nathan (MN)

Is lendale white not only fat but stupid for his comments.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:45 PM)

I will say this -- it's not smart to take those comments about the gameplan to the media before you discuss them with your coach. And does anyone think White was going to do anything against Kris Jenkins? Maybe Jeff Fisher had a thought behind that?

Andrew(Blairsville,PA)

It seems Detroit wont win a game so who do you think they will pick up in the draft?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:46 PM)

Hard to say, but they should take a lineman -- Andre Smith or Oher -- they have to stop stocking up on skill positions.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:47 PM)

And this is why I think Thomas will get more carries -- Deuce doesn't have a lot of lateral mobility right now...

sandra tampa

answer my question who is your super bowl pick right now

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:48 PM)

Right now, Giants and Titans.

Steiny (NYC)

Do you ever see AndrƩ Woodson being a starting QB in the NFL?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:48 PM)

Nope.

Steiny (NYC)

Who is going to be better. Buffalo Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin or Arizona Cardinals cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:48 PM)

DRC probably has a higher ceiling, though McKelvin is more developed as a player right now.

brett (pittsburgh)

are you saying lineman isnt a skill position doug?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:49 PM)

Not at all -- just what they're not called. I actually think any rebuilding team needs to start with the lines.

Ted D. (Hartford, CT)

Now that the Titans have lost, is Kerry Collins still going to start the rest of the year?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:50 PM)

Yeah, they just have to rebalance the game plan. Got a little to pass-happy there for a minute.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:50 PM)

Here comes the dink-and-dunk festival!

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:51 PM)

Oh, sweet run by Grant. One thing about the Packers as well -- their receivers block better than any other.

Mo (ny)

Can you convince Oakland to let Nnamdi Asomugha go so he can show what he can do on a halfway decent team?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:52 PM)

Should the NFL take Nnamdi under receivership? Quite possibly. The best player on the worst team in the NFL.

Max (NY)

Take your pick: Matt Forte or Chris Johnson for rookie of the year...

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:52 PM)

Like Johnson's versatility, but Forte's made more of a difference for his team. They're both going to lose to Ryan, though.

Darren (Minneapolis, MN)

Should I drop Hillis and pick up McFadden? Who's the better option for the rest of the year?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:54 PM)

A healthy McFadden, but we don't really know the chances on that one. He's worth the risk.

Nathan (MN)

what do you think of Tebow in the NFL? pat white? reciever, wildcat?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:55 PM)

I think you always have to adjust your expectations for spread offense players in the NFL, though it depends on the team. With quarterbacks, it's a huge uphill battle.

Mo (ny)

I'm confused as to why plaxico burress has done nothing this year. He was such a key reciever for the giants last season playing very banged up and when hes healthy this year he is dissapearing like Mccain in the last couple months of the election.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:56 PM)

Is that the counter to the Rodgers/Palin comparison? Anyway, I think Eli has found other targets just fine. steve smith in particular.

Art (CO)

Does Matt Ryan help a guy like Sam Bradford or Matt Stafford get drafted number 1?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:57 PM)

Question is what the needs are. Ryan certainly tips the scales and it's a good point.

Robert (NCarolina)

Tenn and NYG in the Superbowl..way to go out on a limb there! You do realize that is almost certainly not going to happen.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:58 PM)

At this point, I can only base my answer on who I think the two best teams are, and that's the two I have. Limb or not.

max (ny)

Take your pick: Brandon Jacobs or Michael Turner?

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:58 PM)

Jacobs. Better against better defenses.

Monday Night Football Machine

When reflecting: Don't you think, with LT hurt this season, the chargers must rather have Brees this year? And also give me the over under: The number of times Aaron Rodgers will play a game without Farve being mentioned -- 1. My prediction: Saints win today.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (8:59 PM)

I thihnk they're fine with Rivers -- the real problem is that nobody can remotely replace Merriman. Their defense looks like Jamal Williams and about seven cornerbacks right now.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (9:00 PM)

Lance Moore for six...

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (9:00 PM)

...maybe.

Football Outsiders Doug Farrar
  (9:01 PM)

Ah, there it is. Gotta go, all -- thanks for the great questions and have a wonderful holiday.

Buzzmaster
  (9:02 PM)

Thanks as always, Doug. Now it's just me, you and the turkey recipes, SportsNation.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

bye bye

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

buuu buuu buuuzzz bu buzzzzzzz! BUZZ!

Auburn John (Atlanta, GA)

Thoughts on the Falcons chances to win the division? I'm stuck in an International Law class and am missing pulling against the rival Saints. Awe, the life of a 2L...

Buzzmaster
  (9:04 PM)

International law? Is that like holding penalties in the CFL?

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

what up buzz

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

buy a turkey breast, take various seasonings and lift the skin up between the meat and add the seasoning. Then take bacon and stuff it in the neck of the turkey and drape it over the top so it looks like the turkey is wearing a hat of bacon...pure bliss...mmmm

Buzzmaster
  (9:04 PM)

I prefer to stuff my bacon with turkey.

Steiny (NYC)

What up Buzz? Ready for some nice punts tonight?

Jeffrey (Seattle,WA)

where is da buzzmaster?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

What's up Buzz?

Buzzmaster
  (9:06 PM)

Never thrilled about watching football in a dome, but there is still something nice about seeing football back in New Orleans. Could be a good one tonight.

Aaron Rodgers(GB WI)

GO PACK GO! :)

Rich Rodriquez (Ann Arbor, MI)

The people in this chat need to get lives

Buzzmaster
  (9:06 PM)

And you need to get a win against the MAC, Rich.

Nathan (MN)

Saints D doing something productive, what???

Buzzmaster
  (9:07 PM)

Nice stand there, bringing up ... a punt!

Nathan (MN)

At least it isnt the Metrodome

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Ordered my turducken off the internet, should be here this wednesday. This is my first turducken, I am exstatic.

Buzzmaster
  (9:07 PM)

You broke up with static?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Rich, you need to not suck at being a coach... I mean come on buddy, Joe Flacco could do a better job.

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

I had my usual monday night wings, with beer, and a shot of jager. I'm on vacation! Wooo!

Matt (IN)

Rodgers needs to do away with that beard. It sucks

Buzzmaster
  (9:08 PM)

He's get laughed out of the NHL at playoff time.

Andrew (New Orleans, LA)

SAINTS ALL THE WAY

Steiny (NYC)

Lance Moore from Toledo is off to a sick start.

Brendan (Louisvile, KY)

We had a shocking experience... it just couldn't last.

Andrew (New Orleans, LA)

How bad do you think the Saints will crush the packers?

Buzzmaster
  (9:09 PM)

I think they might crush them by a field goal, unless they crush them by fewer points than the Packers score.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

sure, that's the easy way to get a turducken. here, we make the duck eat the chicken then the turkey eat the ducken. whole.

A.Rodgers (GB WI)

the beard is sexy....you like it....

max (ny)

hey buzz, how you doin tonight, so, whos winning this game???

Buck Davis (Maryland)

why do you keep comparing Rodgers to Favre? Why beat the dead horse???

Buzzmaster
  (9:10 PM)

I've always wondered, isn't it worse to beat a live horse?

Jay (NY)

Turducken is awesome....order one too...first year we drunkenly ordered 2 from New Orleands...lasted for like a month.

Jay (NY)

There's also a turducken thats in a pig...but it won't fit in a conventional oven....mmm....every meat I can think of.

max (ny)

the saints are having their off year, just like the chargers, they will be back next year, but theyll lose to the giants

CG (Waco)

This game is going into the 30s. I got the Packers winning.

Justin (Ohio)

Good luck to the guy going for the $1 million dollar streak pick tonight.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

-1 rushing yards, 90+ passing yards already. Sums up the Saints.

Matt (IN)

Shenanigans on 'A.Rodgers'. Everyone knows he's not in Green Bay right now

Buzzmaster
  (9:11 PM)

Although with the beard, it would be easier for an imposter to sneak in there ...

James, Normal, IL

That last touchdown run showed a top speed of 21.8mph. Pretty cool stuff. That equates to 1/4 mile in about 41 seconds.

just a question

I don't have cable is there a way i can watch the game at home... with out buying cable???

Buzzmaster
  (9:12 PM)

In a word: no.

Patrick ( Louisville )

Can we go back and discuss the substitution rules?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Jay, my whole argument to my family for getting a turducken was the left overs.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

UK game over....time for football

Buzzmaster
  (9:12 PM)

Touchdown Saints, Thomas punches it in.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

you could always shove the pig in a cow and the cow in a delicious shark, for some Sharduckenturkowig.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

football in domes....bleh

Auburn John (Atlanta, GA)

Thoughts on the Falcons chances to win the division? I'm stuck in an International Law class and am missing pulling against the rival Saints. Awe, the life of a 2L...

Buzzmaster
  (9:14 PM)

I'd say it's not relevant to the game at hand, but then again, we are talking about stuffing turkeys with various farm animals.

Buzzmaster
  (9:14 PM)

So how about the NFC South? Are the Saints still in this thing, or is it the Falcons and Bucs?

John Madden (at home)

Ephraim you know that's a great idea. I need to try that. BOOM!

A.Rodgers (GB WI)

if you are online you can watch kinda online with gamecast

max (ny)

allright lets start talkin football not food cmon its not even thanksgiving yet its MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Someone has to hold the world record for saying Brett Favre the most times while eating a Turducken...

Buzzmaster
  (9:15 PM)

It's football, it's food, it's footducken!

Rich Rodriquez (Ann Arbor, MI)

Um ok, the guy who just held up the sign that said 'Brees is our cheese' needs to get a life

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Atlanta won't win the division, but they might get a wildcard.

CG (Waco)

As a Falcons fan I hope they make it but that loss to Denver hurts very bad now.

CG (Waco)

The Panthers are still in it too.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Bucs and Panthers.

Jay (NY)

Do you think Albert Haynesworth will eat turkey during the whole game on Thursday?

Peyton (Tuscaloosa, AL)

Atlanta won't win the division, Auburn won't go to a bowl, and you will fail your international law class

Buzzmaster
  (9:18 PM)

To be fair, international law for folks in Alabama means Florida.

Patrick ( Louisville )

Bada bing bada boom. ITG Peyton is here.

Steiny (NYC)

The two best players playing in tonight's game are Glenn Pakulak the Saints punter and Derrick Frost the Packers punter.

Matt (IN)

And Rodgers gets the first down by a facial hair

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Last week we were talking about the Food network, now we are talking about Turducken. This is what happens.

max (ny)

we all know that the giants are winning the superbowl no need for this conversation lets move on, agreed buzz?

Nathan (MN)

i think a former packer qb could of made that throw

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Oh come on Rodgers... and come on Jennings.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

bad pass....jennings was gone

Buzzmaster
  (9:19 PM)

Tackling is optional tonight, apparently.

Steiny (NCY)

Deuce McAllister is having a nice game. 2 rushes for -1 yards.

CG (Waco)

Packers lost 6 right there.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

and law means moonshine.

eli (ny)

hey buzz, how do you decide whos questions get on the internet

Buzzmaster
  (9:19 PM)

I go to freecreditreport.com

Patrick ( Louisville )

International Law for any state = Louisiana. Talk about a messed up system.

Justin (Ohio)

Line of the day for Buzz. Good night everybody it isn't going to get better than that.

Internet Tough Guy (Cyberspace)

Who dares to disturb me? Ah yes, it is Peyton the poser ITG. Knock it off son.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

f-r-double e-credit report .com

Steiny (NYC)

Wow its been a long day. I made NYC NCY.

danny sacramento ca

i am at work is donald driving playing tonight

eli (ny)

alright buzz, who is the better qb: eli manning or his older bro peyton

Buzzmaster
  (9:21 PM)

Csn't we all just agree they're both better than Cooper?

pete carrol (los angelos)

how bout that cassel kid we brought him up to be what he is today

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

TGIMNF, steiny.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

Steiny (NYC)

F-R-E-E that spells free,Credit report dot com baby.Saw their ads on my T.V.Thought about going, but was too lazy.

eli (ny)

check out the nfl.com or ESPN.COM gamecenter danny

rhett jarreau larose,LA

the saints are the best team in the nation they cant be stop by nobody not even the tennese titians

Buzzmaster
  (9:23 PM)

The great thing about Louisiana is that could either all be his name or his city.

funny guy (somewhere )

haha steiny ncy new city york!lol

A.Rodgers (GB WI)

Pack's getting close....oh boy oh boy!

kc (austin, tx)

I benched McNabb for Garcia week 12...would you do the same for week 13?

Buzzmaster
  (9:24 PM)

Andy Reid agrees with that decision.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Obviously, rhett hasn't noticed the 5 losses

Matt (IN)

Buzz, your guy McGinley is on now. The Commish is wise.

Buzzmaster
  (9:25 PM)

What's that, Sally?

Council Bluffs,Iowa

Reid should of never benched McNabb in the second half...mainly based on cause they played 100 times worse in the second half...

Jay (NY)

McNabb is going to be confused about playing on Thursday, I don't think he knows that there are games on Thursdays.

Justin (Ohio)

The great thing about Louisiana is that could be a woman.

A.Rodgers (GB WI)

If the saint's are the best why cant they completely shut down the pack!?

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Did anyone else go into work today and say, Man this sucks! and then take the rest of the week off? hmmm? Anyone? hello???

Buzzmaster
  (9:26 PM)

I'm going to say LenDale White.

Lee (Wisc)

Hey Rodgers, stop chatting and get back on the field!

David (Fairborn, OH)

I'm going to go with randominity again this week.....I haven't watched the game yet, but I'm a fan of that new Lady Gaga song. It's not sports related, but my posts rarely are

Buzzmaster
  (9:26 PM)

TD to Jennings

Nathan (MN)

boo packers

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

TD gregory jenning

max (ny)

no man i go to school

Mike (Lexington, KY)

i love a defensive struggle

Buzzmaster
  (9:27 PM)

You're in luck. Both defenses are struggling tonight.

Justin (Ohio)

Eddie Jordan did Robert.

Jay (NY)

Lendale White has a worse attention span than I do. I didn't know that was possible.

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Buzz, that was the greatest comeback to my question that I could have ever imagined... excellent job...just excellent...

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Lodaddy

Can we take a lose and cut Jason David and get another corner?

Steiny (NYC)

I like the song, feeling kinda sunday.

Jay (NY)

Id say give Lendale some ritalin but he'd probably just eat the whole bottle and end up in the hospital.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

that's great news, because i've been wearing my 'zach rastall is coming back!' shirt all day and was begining to feel a little stupid.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Lendale likes to eat.

Buzzmaster
  (9:29 PM)

That's the distilled version, yes.

Joe (Detroit,michigan)

ya know buzz its a good thing no one has said any organizations that dont support you. what's that one show? NFL total____?

Buzzmaster
  (9:30 PM)

And now my head hurts.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

this Rodgers guy is pretty good

Nathan (MN)

now Lendale is not only fat but also dumb

Matt (IN)

I'm a Colts fan and I can't help but laugh everytime I see Jason David get beat. He played great for the Colts--within the zone scheme. The Saints mistakenly thought he could cover man-to-man. No.

Lodady (washington d.c.)

What can the Saints to to get there D in gear? My fear is that our D will be good when the O is getting old.

Jay (NY)

I was wearing the same shirt, does yours say 'but nobody will care' on the back?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

I've been wearing my "I'm with stupid ---->" shirt

Buzzmaster
  (9:31 PM)

Woodson thought he had that pick.

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

FINALLY, Zach has comeback to Sportsnation!

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

I wonder how many Cheeseburgers Lendale ate before that interview? Maybe they forgot to add bacon or cheese, and that's what made him so mad that he had to rant?

The Joker (Gotham City)

I want the saints to win :s

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

brees is pretty good... wait is that an understatement....

Tj

They're better without old Numba' 4 - at some point you need to transition and the Packers are making it short without a run at the bottom.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

Lendale White is laughing all the way to the Waffle House

Buzzmaster
  (9:33 PM)

Scattered, smothered and covered. Hmm, actually that sounds a lot like the Titans yesterday.

TJ (San Jose, CA)

How 'bout that Ryan Grant eh?

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

I don't think either team will score 93 points like Abilene Christian did.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

I have led a horrifying life.

Lendale (drive through)

I must be the most hated guy in the Monday Night chat. Geez.

Mark Long Island NY

Please get the message to Sean Payton Release David and please stop calling the plays

Nathan (MN )

buzz, what channels are the games on thursday?

Buzzmaster
  (9:34 PM)

CBS, Fox and NFL Network (Texas-Texas AM on ESPN!)

John Madden (Madden Nation)

BOOM! You see Zach Rastall comes back and then BOOM everyone is sad.

Steiny (NYC)

The longest name in NFL history is Norberto Davidds-Garrido. I thought it was either Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala or Greg Robinson-Randall but I was wrong.

Buzzmaster
  (9:35 PM)

Tsahimanga Biababutuka doesn't make the cut?

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

No Lendale, that would be me.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

may not need the punt-o-meter tonight

Buzzmaster
  (9:35 PM)

Sad but true

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

I don't hate you because you are portly, Lendale. I hate you because you are a touchdown vulture along the lines of Tommy Vardel.

Matt (IN)

That was a nice job by Woodson of forward tackling and letting Deuce get the first down there. Tackling in this league sucks

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Imagine if his parents didn't add the extra d in Davidds, he'd just be another nobody.

Buzzmaster
  (9:36 PM)

TD Moore. The over is looking mighty good this game.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

TD Nawlins

David (Fairborn, OH)

I think he changed his name to Tim.

Nathan (MN )

when does duece start to wonder in they are actually booing him?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Drew Brees is AMAZING, THE BEST QB IN THE WORLD!

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Defense optional this evening apparently.

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Awww, I miss Biababutuka...

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

go easy on lendale...look, he said he didn't know what was going on. i mean, no one told him. you can't just go around expect people to know whats happening right infront of them and be aware of their surroundings or what they're doing. he's a football tommy.

CG (Waco)

Did I say this was going into the 30s? Maybe this will be going into the 40s.

Nathan (MN)

Buzz you are a company man.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

What are you talking about Ephraim?

David (Fairborn, OH)

I had a biakabutuka rookie card, no lie, I thought I was pretty cool

Tony (Grand Rapids, MI)

I WANT TO HAVE LANCE MOORE'S BABY

Steiny (NYC)

Actually Buzz it is Tshimanga Biakabutuka not Tsahimanga Biababutuka.

Buzzmaster
  (9:39 PM)

I was typing with my LenDale fingers.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

dont go to the fridge...GB will score soon

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Michigan misses Biakabutuka too

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

If the Packers had Favre, the Pack would be leading 42-21.

TJ

it's still a little difficult not seeing him (brees) in a Charger's jersey...

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

I need Brees to get me 60 points, the way this is going, it might be possible...

Joel (Milan, MI)

I chose Ryan Grant over Lance Moore in the flex spot, and that was not a good move. I am down by 5 with my opponent having Aaron Rodgers as his QB. I should have listened to my instincts, but decided against it. I feel really stupid now.

Buzzmaster
  (9:40 PM)

What did your instincts say about sharing that?

Rich Rodriquez (Ann Arbor)

The guy who had the sign that said 'It's Breesy in the Big Easy' definitely needs to get a life, but not as much as Zach Rastall does

Ogre (Adams College)

Joel, fantasy football is for NERDS!

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

if the pack had joe flacco the'd be leading 42-21

Lee (Wisc)

Zach, stay in Marinette, GB doesn't need you

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Tj, it's more difficult as a Dolphin fan not seeing Drew Brees in miami's uniform... we went with Culpepper instead. Best FA move ever

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Ogre turned into a nerd! Everyone knows that!

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

If they had Jeff George they would be leadin 42-21

Buzzmaster
  (9:42 PM)

Jason Whitlock lives in Custer, South Dakota now?

Jay (NY)

My instincts tell me many things. None of which I should follow thru on unless I want to end up in jail.

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

Rich, you need to get with a respectable program.

Nathan (MN)

Lance Moore friend of the podcast. (Fantasy Focus 06010, Matthew, Nate and PodVader) Buzz what am I?

Buzzmaster
  (9:42 PM)

Their only listener?

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO All of you! Mostly Buzz.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Everytime Mason Crosby kicks a field goal an angel gets it's wings.

David (Fairborn, OH)

We established this on the MB...unless it is your undergrad alma mater, it is never a "we"

David (Fairborn, OH)

Brendan, the Dolphins went with Culpepper, not you

Jay (NY)

If the pack had 28 more points, they'd be up 42-21

Tom CT

Is this the game of my life if i am the guy going for the million?

Matt (IN)

Someone call the news...Jason David didn't get burned

Buzzmaster
  (9:44 PM)

Uh oh, are we getting near a punt?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

David, I said that. But I could have done better as Miami's QB than Culpepper did.

Buzzmaster
  (9:45 PM)

Nope, no punt. Sigh.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

He needs to choke. My streak is up to a whopping seven.

Dave( Radford,VA

Brees is the best QB in the NFC so far this year!

rich s. (ohio)

Rogers only looks good becouse of the players around him he will be a career .500 QB

Mike (Lexington, KY)

just suffocating defense

Buzzmaster
  (9:45 PM)

They do appear to be choking.

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

Buzz once took an IQ test. The results came back negative.

Lee (Wisc)

Who's they, Buzz?

Steiny (NYC)

Look what happens when you type in LenDale White is a Superstar! on Youtube. I think the guy is stupid, but this, this is harsh.

pete--- bristol ct

PLEASE LORD NO PUNTS... I would rather have favre fly back and let his daughter punt then see frost out there again

Bobby B

Who is Zach Rastall and why is he a jerk?

Mike McCarthy (Superdome)

It's 3rd and 1...if we don't make it we're punting. Even inside the 30.

Buzzmaster
  (9:48 PM)

First down, big shock. Is Mike Leach available to give some defensive tips at halftime?

Mike (Ohio)

Bobby B, there's not enough time to explain that

Lee (Wisc)

Some guy from very northern Wisc, and cuz he's bored

rich s. (ohio)

this team was in nfc championship last year this year they are .500 i don't care what you think of his perfomance the Rogers project is a let down so far.

Steiny (NYC)

Marques Colston has no catches tonight. Last week Lee Evans no catches and the week Colston no catches. I guess the big WR's never come up big on MNF.

Gary Gibbs (Superdome)

Not if I can help it

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

I'm just going to assume it's really cold where Zach is from. He's got nothing else to do besides sit inside and drink some haterade

Buzzmaster
  (9:49 PM)

That's hot haterade. With a cinnamon stick.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Randy Moss would beg to differ Steiny.

Steiny (NYC)

NICE. Deuce McAllister now has 1 rushing yard.

Jack (West Lafayette, IN)

Hey guys

Stephen A.(Denver)

Is it just me or does Ted Thompson look just like David Byrne from the "Talking Heads"? Go Drew Brees!!!

Lee (Wisc)

It's been a few years since I've been to Marinette, but from what I remember, that's a pretty accurate statement Brendan

Josh (TN)

First Brady in 2001, now Cassel in 2008. Who is the draft day decision maker for the Patriots and why isn't he making %100 million a year?

Mike (Lexington, KY)

2 minute warning is the only thing that has slowed down these offense

David (Fairborn, OH)

I find randominity gets me posted about 1 out of 10 times, which is okay by me

rich s. (ohio)

if an injury riddled team beats the pack tonight they might want to start braum

Michael (VA)

Man...1st quarter lasted almost an hour. 2nd quarter started around 9:25 eastern, 2 minute warning at 9:51...what on earth?

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Because the Patriots give all their money to their videographer.

Steiny (NYC)

Jonathan Vilma is a beast. I don't know why the Jets let this guy go.

Lee (Wisc)

I think it's probably 'cause you used the word "randominity"

Steiny (NYC)

No INT's have been thrown tonight.

David (Fairborn, OH)

whoa whoa whoa....don't crown cassel yet for crying out loud

Buzzmaster
  (9:53 PM)

He is who we thought he was.

Jay (NY)

Vilma's talents didn't fit in the 3-4...he's much better in a 4-3.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Yah, Thomas Dimitroff. The new general manager of the Falcons was the guy who drafted for the Pats. That explains why the Falcons drafted so well this year as well.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

yea, but zach is a retro jerk, like scotty farkas or eddie haskall. so he has that going for him.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

What's up Buzz? I hope that guy loses his streak for betting against New Orleans. Geaux Saints!

Steiny (NYC)

Vilma should have 20 tackles when the game is over.

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

You're all so cruel.

Steve (Syracuse)

I dont think that the Packers and Saints got the memo that this is Monday Night Punt-the-ball

Nathan (MN)

anyone else have a Totally Trucks commercial?

Gunslingers (Everywhere)

We want Favre! We want Favre! We want Favre!

Buzzmaster
  (9:54 PM)

TD Rodgers. Review coming?

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

Touchdown, Rodgers!!!

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

TD Rodgers.

Buzzmaster
  (9:55 PM)

Clean TD

Scott Pioli (New England)

The final personnel decisions were made by me. Nice try though.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

this will b reveiwed

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Why review it? He broke the plane. The next Michael Vick.

Lee (Wisc)

NO we don't! NO we don't! NO we don't!

Patrick ( Louisville )

Im watching on delay. Could you all please insert *spoiler alert* before every post?

Buzzmaster
  (9:56 PM)

Spoiler alert: Steve Kragthorpe can't win.

Steiny (NYC)

Garrett Hartley is a good kicker. From Oklahoma.

CG (Waco)

Nice dive by Rogers.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Scott Pioli, thats nice and all. But he was the scout who recommended those players to you. Without his input you wouldn't have a team like you do. Nice try though.

Vernelle Las Vegas, NV

The Packers are overrated. If Brett was still in GB, they would be superbowl favs...

Chad (Savannah, GA)

BOOOOOOOO Everything Wisconsin!

Buzzmaster
  (9:57 PM)

Now they can't even tackle on the kickoffs.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Wow nice return beyond the 50. spoiler alert

Jay (NY)

Hahaha Jaws said Kornheiser makes ridiculous statements.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

144 is pleanty of time for Drew Brees.

David (Fairborn, OH)

patrick, fast forward through the commercials and you should catch up with live

CG (Waco)

I knew that this would be a good return. Get ready for a bomb.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Random football comment

Max (Madison)

Good return well not for me cuz im a pack fan

Patrick ( Louisville )

Yeah, UofL needs a kicker. Could have mad eth difference in 2 games.Might not have, but could have.

Tom (River North)

I agree with booing all things Wisconsin. Badgers suck!

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

How does Brees make these incredible throws. That should have been deflected. He was all over him.

Vernelle Las Vegas, NV

saints make the pack's defense look like mince meat. Everyone knows the saints play no d, but the Pack are supposed to be a top tier defense. Imagine if Reggie was playing...

Nathan (MN)

*Spoiler Alert* Packers lose.

Steiny (NYC)

Hello Shockey.

Josh (TN)

How many others have consecutive 400+ yard games exactly??

Buzzmaster
  (9:59 PM)

The guy from Abilene Christian?

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

If Brett Favre was still quarterback of the Packers, he would've already thrown two interceptions to set himself up for an epic second half comeback...

Lee (RiverWest)

*spoiler alert* Wishful thinking

Patrick ( Louisville )

I refuse to Boo college players. Other UofL fans obviously do not agree with me.

Steiny (NYC)

Moore over 100 yards.

Bill Belichick (New England)

I'd bet my video guy that Pioli makes all the final decisions.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

BOOO is a Morning Buzz thing. Some of you here should try it. It's a great way to waste an hour at work between 10-11 AM ET.

Patrick ( Louisville )

And I'm live!

Les Guilford, CT

Where is the line play in Green Bay -- Oh come on !!!!!

Steve (Syracuse)

So where is this vaunted packers defense I have been hearing about all week?

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

*spoiler alert* a live chat about the live MNF game may not be the best place to be if you don't want to find out whats happening in the game.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Seriously...how could West Texas AandM give up 93 points? No wonder Ryan Leaf was taking pain killers.

Josh (TN)

I was talking about Cassel and the guy who said dont crown him king yet.

V Las Vegas

4 others have had consecutive 400 yard games the last was Billy Volek...

Buzzmaster
  (10:02 PM)

Brees runs the Saints out of an extra play

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

*spoiler alert* Corduroy is coming back. Book it.

Steiny (NYC)

The only current NFL player from Abilene Christian University is Chicago Bears free safety Danieal Manning.

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

If the Titans still had Billy Volek they would be winning 42-21.

Billy Volek (somewhere)

Hey YA!!! RECORD BOOKS BABY!!!!

Patrick ( Louisville )

There were enough commercials for me to catch up from about 30 minutes behind be halftime. ESPN is making bank.

Zach Rastall (Marinette, WI)

Happy Halftime and good-night.

Buzzmaster
  (10:03 PM)

24-21, Saints

Chad (Savannah, GA)

FG!

Lee (RiverWest)

Josh, two weeks over 400 is still no reason to crown anyone king of anything

Buzzmaster
  (10:03 PM)

How about king of passing yards for the second and third weeks of November?

V Las Vegas

Smart by Brees, you don't risk points trying to score... get it?

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Brees threw two incomplete passes. Andy Reid would bench him right now.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

Did Brees drive the float to the game

The Suits (Bristol)

That's not all, folks. In addition to lots of commercials, soon we will also be bringing you the BCS bowl games on the Worldwide Leader!

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Buzzed you scared Zach off. I think he feels unwanted.

Buzzmaster
  (10:04 PM)

And that's the half. See you for the third quarter!

Jason (Custer, S.D.)

Who would have thought Cassell could be a better pro than the two guys he backed up at USC?

CG (Waco)

*Spoiler alert* It's halftime!!

Buzzmaster
  (10:18 PM)

And here we go

Buzzmaster
  (10:19 PM)

Wait, what's that? A hit? In this game? Wow.

rich s (steelers nation)

rogers is going down in second half who is going to take his place?

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

**spoiler alert** end of halftime

Lukas (Whitewater, WI)

Packers need to start making some stops of defense early in this second half if they are going to take control of this game.

Buzzmaster
  (10:19 PM)

Third and long. Dare we dream of a punt?

Buzzmaster
  (10:20 PM)

Nope, of course not. First down, Saints.

Punters (Everywhere)

We're bored

Jay (NY)

Punt? You so crazy Joe Rogan I mean Buzzmaster.

P. (Lawrence, Kansas)

Rock Chalk Jayhawks!

Chad (Savannah, GA)

HA no punt!

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

OMG!!! a defensive play!!!

rich s. (steelers nation)

who is the packers #2 QB

Buzzmaster
  (10:21 PM)

Someone with very little experience.

Buzzmaster
  (10:22 PM)

3rd and 15. I'm not saying anything.

CG (Waco)

3rd and 15 surely they won't convert this one.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

warm up your foot

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

3 and LONG!!!

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

there's no way brees can be comfortable standing like that in the huddle

Jay (NY)

I just realized, is Colston playing? I haven't heard his name at all.

Buzzmaster
  (10:22 PM)

Yeah, he's in there.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Oops I might have just jinxed with that HA

Ed Hochuli (Chat Ref)

That's a personal foul against P, no one cares about Kansas, 15 yards and repeat 3rd down

Patrick ( Louisville )

You know who....BROHM!!!!

rich s. (steelers nation)

braum is out isnt he

Ryan (NOLA)

Backup with no experience? Packers coulda used Favre there

Tom (River North)

I think it's either Matt Flynn or Brian Brohm, both are rookies.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Matt Flynn, drated out of LSU. Then Brian Brohm, who was once predicted to be a first round draft pick in '06. But being from Louisville he wanted to not make the millions and opted to come back for his senior year... which turned out to be a horrible decision.

Jay (NY)

Just saw Colston....I randomly thought of him which means he's somehow involved in something soon....callin a 30 yard bomb to him next play.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

i think flynn moved ahead of brohm

Zack (SF)

Does Colston know his team has a game right now?

David (Fairborn, OH)

buzz, may be random, but if you like flight of the conchords, you'll love "eagle vs. shark". It has a little love story for lady buzz, but jemaine clement is in it, and it's hilarious!

T (VA)

the back up is the guy that won a National Championship on that field last year

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Yes Flynn, best LSU QB in the NFL, is the backup.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

yah, who knew Brian Brohm was a 3rd string QB. I think he was inactive for this game too

Buzzmaster
  (10:25 PM)

4th and inches?

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

nono, sean payton makes doofy calls at times like this...colston for a 8 yard loss on a delayed reverse or some nonsense like that.

Ryan (NOLA)

If by horrible decision you mean being 3rd string on a NFL team? I wish all my decisions had been that horrible

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

uhm, homefield spot.

Brady (Colorado)

Like the good ol days. Just Buzz and the Nation. Whats for dinner?

Buzzmaster
  (10:26 PM)

Beef. It's what for dinner.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

No, Buzz, Turducken is whats for dinner.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Challenge? SHOOT.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Will GB challenge the spot?

CG (Waco)

They gave him a couple of inches there.

pat (ny)

bad spot

jay

majkowski moved ahead of Brohm

David (Fairborn, OH)

it's 10:30. best case it's late night snack, but i've already brushed my teeths

Patrick ( Louisville )

He has to move up that chart or he is in danger of being let go. Wait a minute, are we having a UofL football chat? Where'e Pat Forde?

Tom (River North)

I thought Buzz always turned down beef, especially when it's at a free steakhouse.

Jay (NY)

We have to go back Kate! We have to go back! Speaking of which, is Kate from the MB still leaving in a bathroom stall?

Internet Tough Guy (Cyberspace)

Dinner is your mangled carcasses. What a bunch of losers.

Ryan (NOLA)

Just saw a picture of a turducken wrapped in bacon I'm not sure mankind is ready for it

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Those back to back post were posted in the wrong order sent in.

Buzzmaster
  (10:28 PM)

You know what whining about posts gets you ...

Jay (NY)

Since we already have the 2 name poster, may I also suggest having the 1 name with no city poster as well as teh poster using no caps? I think there's a sterotype in there somewhere too.

Saints all day

Drew Brees is a monster

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

You get the Zach treatment for whining.

Buzzmaster
  (10:29 PM)

McCarthy is challenging this for punters everywhere.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

I wasn't whining I just didn't want to luck dumber than I already do.

Ed Hochuli (Chat Ref)

That's a personal foul against Chad (Savannah), whining about the chat. 15 yards and repeat 2nd down

Mike (Lexington, KY)

overturned and the inevitable boos

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Ohh 4th and inches!

Buzzmaster
  (10:30 PM)

A lot of inches

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

GO FOR IT, NO PUNTERS< NO MERCY!!!

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

i only eat dippin dots, cuz its the friggin future.

Steiny (NYC)

LenDale White in an article for Sports Illustrated: SI asks: Things that make you say, "NO, no, no!" LW: Not giving me my check.

CG (Waco)

Go for it. Run it up the middle. It's just a few inches.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Ephraim you can take your space food back to the future!!!!

Mike (Lexington, KY)

this is taking foreever

rich s. (steelers nation)

shut up and sit down fool whining will not b tolerated

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Sean Payton doesn't trust the punter!

Buzzmaster
  (10:32 PM)

I say good day to you, Mr. Payton. I said good day, sir!

pat (ny)

gutsy

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Good job. Way to man up, Payton.

Ryan (NOLA)

Anyone surprised LenDale ranked money over food? Or is it that money leads to food?

Robert (NCarolina)

If NOR wins doesn't everyone need to agree that the NFCSouth if not the best, is the second best division in football and definately the most competetive and compelling one as well?

Buzzmaster
  (10:33 PM)

Yes, everyone must agree, We do not tolerate differing opinions.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

i see your dippin dots and raise you a fun dip

Robert (NCarolina)

Payton doesn't trust Duece even more...truth be told Payton is the worst thing about the Saints team.

Tim: (Pa)

I needed 10 fantasy points out of Colston and Mason Crosby to win and its not going to happen.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Ryan, the chicken or the egg? We may never know.

rich s. (steelers nation)

the saints are hitting hard on offense lmao get em'

Tom (River North)

Can we also agree that the AFC West is the worst division? They're like the Big East of the NFL.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

After tonight the NFC will have 5 sub .500 teams. The AFC has 7.

logan (Green Bay WI)

come on PACK!

will (Maryland)

i guess i picked a bad time to start the packers defense in fantasy.

Sean Payton (sideline)

Look you punks, how competitive was this team before I showed up? That's what I thought.

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

I'm wondering what Bush would be like in a Wildcat formation. Probably good stuff...

Buzzmaster
  (10:35 PM)

Not as good as Wildcat lineup. Maybe Arizona? Kansas State?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

will you deserve to lose for that decision.

Tom (River North)

Payton has been horrible for the team. I mean, they were so successful under Haslett and Ditka.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

The chicken AND the egg simutanulously appeared on earth.

CG (Waco)

Deuce probably isn't 100% still. I've been saying to years that the only way the Saints will take it to the next level is if Deuce was carrying the load.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

i'll see that fun dip and raise you a de-hydrated neopolitan ice cream slice sold at space museums.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Don't forget about Jim Mora. He gave the Saints their 1st playoff appearance.

Buzzmaster
  (10:36 PM)

Playoffs?! Playoffs?!

jay

first penalty on GB. Unheard of for them

Jay (NY)

What's this running crap? Throw a TD to Colston already.

Steiny (NYC)

Tubby Raymond and Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens football team made up the Wildcat. I think Ronnie Brown should call him up and thank him

Buzzmaster
  (10:37 PM)

TD Saints, Brees to Miller

Patrick ( Louisville )

Fish lay eggs. I'm pretty sure fish were around before chickens...Where's Carl Everett when you need him?

Buzzmaster
  (10:37 PM)

Caviar-eating elitist.

mark Kelley

what about the game right now whats going on the saints just scored:(

CG (Waco)

I thought Miller was gonna drop that for a minute there.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

How do they get so wide open?

Jay (NY)

That'll do just fine.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

just wide open

Buzzmaster
  (10:38 PM)

31-21, Saints

Tom (River North)

Didn't Gus Malzahn, the OC at Arkansas last year, invent the Wildcat offense?

Ryan (NOLA)

If the Blue Hens made it, why isn't it called the Wild Hen? Too sissy?

lee mlwaukee, wis.

packers will win this game, guranteed, go packer nation, saints have no defense.

Tom (River North)

Jurassic Park taught me that dinosaurs laid eggs, and that was basically a documentary.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

7 and a half minute drive...

Carl Everett (Imaginationland)

I'm right here, still not believing in dinosaurs.

Matt Light (Foxboro, MA)

I will pull on all of your HAIR if this philosophical nonsense doesn't stopp!!! ARHGHHHHH!!

Buzzmaster
  (10:40 PM)

But if you film an opponent's practice and nobody is around to see it, does it still make a sound?

rich s. (steelers nation)

if the saints win the water pills are on me

Ryan (NOLA)

Arkansas called it the Wild Hog

Brady (Colorado)

The AFC West is the NL West of the NFL

David (Fairborn, OH)

so much for the packers defense as a fantasy stud tonight

Jay (NY)

Imaginationland is a farce since it had Morpheus. He's real. He told me I'm the one. Then he asked me to go back to his room. That was weird.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

ooops....6 and a half minute drive

Steiny (NYC)

If this game gets out of hand Payton should put in either Joey Harrington or Mark Brunell at QB.

Buzzmaster
  (10:41 PM)

How about just line up both? Brunell's a lefty, right? Have them roll out opposite directons.

Arlen Specter (DC)

A guy from the Patriots pulled someone's hair? Make no mistake, I will get to the bottom of this this!

Chad (Savannah, GA)

HA HA I hope that idiot loses his Million Dollar Dream because the Saints win. I really do wish someone would win that money but not betting against MY teams.

Ryan (NOLA)

huston Nutt now calls it the Wild Reb. Why didn't he just go with the Wild Nutt? People would get behind that

Tim (Pa)

Imagination Land is real. Man-bear-pig is there.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Chad is a bitter soul.

Ryan (NOLA)

Isn't two QBs part of the A-10 offense?

Buzzmaster
  (10:43 PM)

No QB's is part of the Lions offense.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

that looked like a holding

Confused (computer)

Wait a minute I thought Joey Harrington was let go.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

the wild saint? st. wild?

Buzzmaster
  (10:43 PM)

Jason David picks it off

Jason David (NO)

how ya like me now

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

INTERCEPTION OH NOES!!

Buzzmaster
  (10:44 PM)

Nice hit by Rodgers. Best of the night, actually.

Jay (NY)

1st and goal! Throw it! To anyone, I don't care!

David (Fairborn, OH)

I think rodgers dropped a bow on him

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Aaron Rodger's with a Favreian throw!

CG (Waco)

That was a duck by Rogers but that was a nice hit he gave.

Ryan (NOLA)

The Lions are offense do not belong in the same sentence

Ryan (NOLA)

Rodgers should start at linebacker with that kind of hitting

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

Wow...that was favresque

Matt (IN)

Someone check his hands for stickum

Michael Anderson Milwaukee, wisconsin

Third and 15, and what does McCarthy do? The prevent you from winning defense, three man rush. Game over.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

The person going for the $1 Mil is 2 games up on his nearest competitor and picks a game between 2 5-5 teams and picks the road team?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

There have been hits tonight?

rich s. (steelers nation)

rogers now that was nice

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Man, if that was Brett Favre he would have...oh wait, he would have already thrown 3 picks...

Tim (Pa)

These teams don't really look that good. I bet my eagles could tie them no problem.

Ephraim R. (Thomasville, GA)

rodgers badly needed the **spoiler alert**

Buzzmaster
  (10:45 PM)

Nicely played, sir.

Buzzmaster
  (10:45 PM)

TD run, Deuce.

Brady (Colorado)

ANOTHER TD!

mike (chicago)

i need mason crosby to not get any more points

Jay (NY)

OK I forgot this part, throw a completed pass to anyone for a TD!

Ryan (NOLA)

Nice to see Rodgers just having fun out there

Jay (NY)

Noooooo he was down screw the record!

Nathan (MN)

BBBOOOO...I mean Duece

CG (Waco)

DEUCE!!! Congrats!!!

Buzzmaster
  (10:46 PM)

Deuce breaks Quatro Smith's record for most touchdowns by a person named after a number.

Stewie (Quohog)

What the Duece?

Mike (Lexington, KY)

Deuce stole the football

Jim (Detroit, MI)

I hope the dude with $1mil in the streak got to Vegas and put at least $100K on the Saints!

Chad (Savannah, GA)

If I were at 24 I would wait for someone else to get to 24 call them up and pick both sides of the game and split the $1 Million!

Kevin (New York)

What is going on with Colston? No looks? No catches?

Jay (NY)

They are saying Deeu-urns!

Smithers (Springfield)

They're not yelling Deuuuuuuccccee. They're yelling BOOO-URNS

CG (Waco)

Where did you get that stat from, Buzz?

Buzzmaster
  (10:47 PM)

John Hodgman.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Oh, that would explain all the excitement, buzz

Ryan (NOLA)

If you want your child to to go far in sports, you definitely need their name to rhyme with boo

Steiny (NYC)

I told you first Evans now Colston.

Don Chicago

Logan I am a Packers fan too but I hope they lose the resat of their games and fire Teddy boy

Jay (NY)

If I were at 23 and someone was at 24 I would break into his house and go online and delete the account.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Look at that smiling lovely face.

Tom (River North)

What if you just nickname the kid Boo? Like Boo Williams?

Brian (Beacon, NY)

Have to be questioning the Streak for the Cash person. You can't pick the Packers tonight, just not a safe pick at all. The 25th game seems to be a bugaboo for anyone. What is this, the 3rd chance so far?

Steiny (NYC)

Deuce McAllister 4 rushes 4 yards and 1 TD.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

If I were 22, I would delete 23 and 24's account.

Ryan (NOLA)

Now Payton loves Deuce? Amazing how scoring a TD can erase the past

rich s. (steelers nation)

the cheese is melting let me get some nachos

JAM, Mobile

I'm going to bed I wanted to see a punter hit the scoreboard like Ray Guy- not happening in this Ole Bowl

Jo (Orlando)

Don't you feel the NFL is trying to LIGHTEN UP football, that is, decrease the emphasis on hitting(blocking and tackling)???

Boof Bonser (Minnesota)

People never boo me!!!

Kevin (New York)

They keep throwing it to the cancer Shockey. The Giants win the SB without him. Saints get him and are terrible. Good work Payton. Pass to Shockey more and miss the playoffs again

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

I'm gonna go out on a limb...and say that Rodgers has been WAY off tonight

Buzzmaster ( )

I have officially been awesome for 12 years now.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Don't worry ESPN will get sued for 1 of these guys that got to 24 and losing #25 for them going mental.

Buzzmaster
  (10:51 PM)

Jason David for Canton.

Buzzmaster
  (10:51 PM)

Canton, South Dakota, that is. But he does get pick No. 2

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Why did the fake Buzz put ( )?

Nathan (MN)

Jason david again, greatest night of his career

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

I reiterate...WAY off

David (Fairborn, OH)

Who was goin off on David earlier?

Bob (Honolulu, HI)

If the Saints don't make the playoffs with that potent offense, they need to hire 3 defensive coordinators next season to fix their defense.

Jo (Orlando)

You feel Rogers still has "HAPPY FEET"

Nate(Milwaukee, WI)

Rodgers needs to stop dumping the ball off and go vertical.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Let it be known that David is a horrible dancer.

rich s. (steelers nation)

flynn anyone?

CG (Waco)

Yikes breakdoen in communication right there for Rogers. This game is just about over in the 3rd.

Ryan (NOLA)

Fake buzz is a Sigur Ros fan

Buzzmaster
  (10:52 PM)

How about a 22 minutes, 30-yard drive right here?

Nick Taunton MA

wow. In my opinion Rodgers isnt living up to expectations. He had years to be ready for this season. Shoulda signed brett for atleast another season.

Buzzmaster
  (10:53 PM)

Or you could do something really, really stupid. Either way.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

LOL he got crushed that was awesome!!

Brady (Colorado)

That my friends is called KARMA

Mike (Lexington, KY)

haha stupid call

Chris (Madison, WI)

Everyone that complained he threw too many bad interceptions...we miss you #4

Nathan (MN)

dree brees throws pretty good. why run that play

CG (Waco)

Now watch as this INT brings the Packers right back into it.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Here Payton goes again. Remeber the game vs TB last year?

Jay (NY)

There's that dumb Sean Payton play.

rich s. (steelers nation)

wow run the clock fool

Robert (NCarolina)

Drew Brees is so competitive...he wanted to prove he could throw a better INT than Rodgers!

Buzzmaster
  (10:54 PM)

Don't blame Brees for that one.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Karma chameleon?

mlw

nice pass Moore

Corey (Colorado Springs, CO)

and now we know why Lance Moore is not the qb...

Jay (NY)

Karma Police?

JAM, Mobile

"All football coaches are stupid"More evidence with that fancy pick

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

You know, Rodgers is going to get killed for those picks. However Favre had TONS of games like this and he is a God in GB. Fans are a strange bunch of people...

Steiny (NYC)

John Kuhn went to Shippensburg college. Has anyone heard of that?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

So.... why didn't they run it again?

Buzzmaster
  (10:55 PM)

They only run when they can set franchise records.

Doug Illinois

That was stupid!

Steiny (NYC)

If Lance Moore is on the chat tomorrow I have to ask him about that one.

Buzzmaster
  (10:56 PM)

I want to hear one of the punters go LenDale White after the game.

Robert (NCarolina)

Moore...worse QB rating ever!!

JAM, Mobile

hey! no fair batting down a pass!

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

I almost hope that GB comes back to win just because of that stupid WR pass...

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Punters complaining about the lack of playing time... never heard that before.

Nathan (MN)

PUNT

Jay (NY)

Wait...what is this thing....a pert? pint? pont?

Buzzmaster
  (10:58 PM)

And a low liner at that, very disappointing. The coffin corner is a dying art. Thank you, I'll be here all week.

Thomas Gallimore--Thomasville---North Carolina

Wow the Saints are actually playing defense.

Brett Favre (New York, New York)

Let's go Saints!!!

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Shush Your Mouth Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Mark Long Island NY

All this means is Jason David will get another chance to get burnt for three TD's next week against the Bucs.

Steiny (NYC)

Payton let Lance Moore return that punt to make him feel better.

Ryan (NOLA)

That Marino, so dashing

David (Fairborn, OH)

Sometimes, sleep > than MNF. This is one of these times. I won't be in the MB tomorrow, so have fun. And remember buzz, Eagle vs. Shark. You'll love it.

TB (Madison, Wi)

Brett has proven himself for 16 yrs. Rodgers has what...7 games. Please....

rich s. (steelers nation)

with sepulveda hurt there are no great punters in the nfl

JAM, Mobile

let's see, Brees is 50 for 50 with 5 touchdowns, let's try some handoffs and a trick play!

Buzzmaster
  (10:59 PM)

There's your Colston sighting.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

TD Colston!

CG (Waco)

Game over. That's it.

Kevin (Warrenville, IL)

As TMQ would say..."Game over!" Why are you punting down 17 with 2 total stops in the game.

Robert (NCarolina)

If I had the best QB in the NFL, I would have my just recently relevant WR throw a pass against the defense with the most INTs. Was someone argueing that Payton wasn't the worse part of the Saints team??

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

Wow, what a pass... that was just....sick...wow...

Jay (NY)

I was one series early but TD Colston!!!!

Jerry (Raleigh, NC)

If Moore had completed it for a TD, it would've been considered brilliant.

Buzzmaster
  (11:01 PM)

And if there had been something in Capone's vault, Geraldo wouldn't be a joke. Well, yeah he would. But the point remains.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

321 Passing yrds for Brees and were not done with the 3rd quarter.

Max (River Forest, IL)

Brees might get all 5,048 tonight!

Nick Boston MA

so whose next in line for the streak??

Lee, VA

Farve is/was a god in GB because he could make a mistake and then throw a bomb for a TD and cancel that out....Rodgers aint Farve, and tonight, Rodgers aint even Rodgers

Steiny (NYC)

I can never go to sleep during MNF, not after Vinny Testaverde led the Jets in that comeback win.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

Ironhead Heyward time

Jay (NY)

When I got arrested for robbing that bank I would have been rich if I didn't get caught.

Andrew (Delaware)

so much for that cool million dollar streak...

Max (River Forest, IL)

Time to switch to The Daily Show?

Buzzmaster
  (11:02 PM)

Re-run. But still ...

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Do you think Favre is sitting at home laughing his rear off right now?

Jason David New Orleans

Throw me another one aaron!!! why not!

TB Los Angeles

Points at a premium? That doesn't make any sense. If they were at a premium it would be a low soring game.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Colston almost flipped it out to early. That would have been awesome.

Steiny (NYC)

Lance Moore had a 70 yard bomb to start off the game, and now Colston has a 70 yard bomb for a TD. That is kind of weird.

Buzzmaster
  (11:03 PM)

Not as weird as if they were 112-yard bombs.

Jay (NY)

Lets go Driver! Play prevent, give up a TD...we need more Brees!

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Saints playing like they are a good defence. So rare... inspiring almost

Mike (Lexington, KY)

The Saints figured this out at halftime...play defense

Joe (San Diego

I didn't see Colston's, but Moore's was a 15 yard slant that he turned into a huge game... was Colston's an actual bomb? A guy in my league now has 37 points out of Brees. He needed 35 to win...

Buzzmaster
  (11:05 PM)

Little longer

Ryan (NOLA)

Wouldn't a short-yardage bomb be weirder? He ripped off a 5-yard bomb

Jake (Duluth)

Family Matters is more competitive then this game right now.

Brett (Ohio)

Do you think the Million Dollar man is lying in his bed crying right now?

CG (Waco)

The only good news going for the Packers is that they can still win the division. The Saints needed this game more.

Omar (Washington, DC)

Colston pulled a Desean Jackson bonehead move...the packers should have challenged that play

Pettey (Orlando)

almost a third interception!

Nick Boston

hey buzz. do you think the pack would do more justice just running and going 4 and out then rodgers embarressing himself tonight? he just does not have it

Buzzmaster
  (11:07 PM)

Running out the clock? I'm all for it.

Buzzmaster
  (11:07 PM)

45-21 at the end of the third.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Brett Favre should send the guy who lost tonights streak a check.

Buzzmaster
  (11:07 PM)

Or at least some jeans.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

Just keep the clock running like in high school blowouts

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Jim Carrey might want to stop making movies. Soon.

Jay (NY)

No way Buzz, still down 3.12 points....if you haven't realized by now I have Brees and Driver going he has Crosby. Go Brees and or Driver!

Steiny (NYC)

Brees 323 and 4 TD's. Unreal. He should be on the chat tomorrow.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Fuuny faux pa, not funny ha ha.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

no way Jim Carrey is great....

Paul, (Santa Maria CA)

Is this the first time there has been 2 TD pass plays over 70 yards by the same QB in one game?

jay

Rodgers isnt playing horrible. Would be nice if the D could show up a little. 2 more stops and there in it

Pettey (Orlando)

General Motors might want to stop making cars soon...oh wait...they will.

Ryan (NOLA)

Faux pa? Fake father?

Theo (Albuturkey, NM)

Sure glad I'm missing out on most of this one.

Bob (Detroit)

On that last touchdown by N.O. it looked to me that the receiver let go of the ball before crossing the end line.

Jay (NY)

My heart is pounding, I'm never going to sleep.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Remember that kid who waved off Aaron Rodgers when he was offered anautograph? He's feeling pretty good about himself right now.

rich s. (steelers nation)

this is turning into an ugly game of Madden

Buzzmaster
  (11:11 PM)

But a pretty game of Frogger.

~KWR Rochester MN

HA HA HA PACKER FANS!!! Behind the Bears again. Yeah you beat us last week. but your in THIRD (3rd) PLACE NOW

Buzzmaster
  (11:12 PM)

The 'Yeah you beat us last week' part kind of deflates the power of the taunt.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Why call the Time Out? Why not just challenge the play and still get the time out if you lose the challenge.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

timeout? oh the horror

Drew (N.O)

I cant get through the gatte, the gate is narrow.

Lafayette, LA

I think the Saints and Packers exchanged secondaries before the game.

Dale Burlington, VT

hey, if the saints are this good why cant they beat someone in their own division?

Max (River Forest, IL)

How amazing is it now, that Carolina held NO to one TD for the entire game?

Ronny (Boston,Ma)

That guy is going to lose a million dollar chance. Has to hurt

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Bitter Bears fan!

rich s. (steelers nation)

wow to be happy and mediocre at the same time way to go bears fan

JAM, Mobile

Well Brees in the Mrdi Gras float is appropriate for this game....

Ryan (NOLA)

Is there any other type of Bears fan?

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

A million dollars is a lot of money... /obvious

Pack fan (GB)

Bears fans got NOTHING to laugh about. Enjoy that losing streak that's gonna start againist the Vikings.

Jay (NY)

Happy and mediocre would be the name of my book if I was happy.

~KWR Rochester MN

Bitter and proud of it. The Packers are losing... TE HE TE HE. My day is made...

Buzzmaster
  (11:14 PM)

WOW

Brady (Colorado)

he got...... JACKED UP!

Robert (NCarolina)

Wicked hit

CG (Waco)

Jennings got JACKED UP!!!!!!!

Nathan (MN)

flag...pansie league

Chad (Savannah, GA)

That hit was CLEAN!

Jake (Duluth)

LIGHTS OUT!!!

JAM, Mobile

BS call, there

Mike (Lexington, KY)

ferocious and lagal

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Nice hit! That was the 3rd best his behind Chris Crocker hitting Santonio Holmes and Channing Crowder hitting Wes Welker.

CG (Waco)

Good job refs. I was about to lose it. That was a clean hit.

Saints Defense (new orleans)

hey jennings... question.... how you feelin???

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

te he te he, is the weirdest laugh i've ever heard.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

If I had a million dollars I'd buy a green coat, but not a real green coat, that would be cruel.

jay

did he get up. Watching on internet

Buzzmaster
  (11:17 PM)

Yep, still in the game.

rich s. (steelers nation)

the entire Saints team is hitting hard the offense started it the defense gonna finish it

Jerry (Raleigh, NC)

I'll give Jennings some credit. I don't know how he held on to that ball. That being said, after that hit, I'll be surprised if he catches another pass tonight.

Max (River Forest, IL)

They get almost giddy when the refs make a correct call - it's like that's something unusual this year.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

that Crocker hit was sweet

Jay (NY)

Stop running!!!!! Driver!!!!!

Buzzmaster
  (11:18 PM)

TD Rodgers to Martin

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

TD !!!!!!

Buzzmaster
  (11:18 PM)

Onside kick?

Jay (NY)

Ugh.

Buzzmaster
  (11:18 PM)

2pt good, 45-29, Saints.

JAM, Mobile

It's a two score game! LOL

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Chris Crocker got that hit in for Keith Rivers, lol

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Why is that CB signalling no catch when it was an obviously Shaqtastic catch

Buzzmaster
  (11:19 PM)

I think he was saying offensive interference.

Nick (boston)

try the fake onside kick. they would not expect it what so ever

Chad (Savannah, GA)

NO Onside kick this time. Maybe if they stop NO and score again.

Ryan (NOLA)

Yes, Buzz. Thanks for asking

mlw

onside coming up

jay

why not. Maybe McCarthy wil punt instead

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Do you think that guy with the Streak has a glimmer of hope right now?

rich s. (steelers nation)

hey they can try a free kick now they are cookin

Ryan (NOLA)

They should go for the fake-fake

Neil (Charlotte, NC)

It is ridiculous the calls in the NFL. They missed the taunting call.

Buzzmaster
  (11:21 PM)

Packers try it but the Saints recover.

Max (River Forest, IL)

Nice call Buzz (heh)

Jay (NY)

Payton you crazy guy throw it!

rich s. (steelers nation)

are these coaches sitting on a couch playing madden? i do not get it

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Saints just doubled their rushing total for the game on that run

Drew (Iowa)

Yea I'm enjoying watching Drew torch Green Bays "explosive, big play" pass defense. Drew should at least throw another 2 TD's500 yards and 6 TDs sounds pretty accurate to me. MVP! MVP!

Robert (NCarolina)

Don't risk Brees with this lead..put Moore in as QB.

Jacob (Atlanta, GA)

The packers will have their way with Carolina next week

Mike (Lexington, KY)

I have never heard of anyone named Pierre tough enough to play in the NFL

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

PUNT PUNT PUNT

Buzzmaster
  (11:24 PM)

Going on fourth and two

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

they are going for it!

Buzzmaster
  (11:24 PM)

And they pick it up and keep the clock running.

Kids (Everywhere)

We blame ESPN for the fact that we're still up watching this game and won't be able to pay attention in class tomorrow

Buzzmaster
  (11:25 PM)

Everywhere apparently no longer includes Hawaii.

fan kansas

no defence on either side

Ryan (NOLA)

The Saints should treat every run play as if it were 4th down

Buzzmaster
  (11:25 PM)

TD Thomas on the long run

Brady (Colorado)

and i benched lance moore. buzz should kill me, by throwing tom cruise at me. Kids have class tomorrow? TOUCHDOWN! ANOTHER ONE!A

CG (Waco)

51 points.

rich s. (steelers nation)

am i watching a online madden game what is going on with the Green Bay coaching staff

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

lots of high scoring games this week

Jake (Duluth)

TD Saints, and the million dollar man is apparently starting crying again.

Buzzmaster
  (11:26 PM)

Saints going for two?

Nathan (MN)

he was touched one time on that run

Chad (Savannah, GA)

I can't wait to move to the west coast. This game would start at 530 and end before 9.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

warm up the plane

Jacob (Atlanta, GA)

Louisiana Leap?

Nathan (MN)

going for two!!!

Buzzmaster
  (11:26 PM)

Karma, falls down on the handoff.

Buzzmaster
  (11:27 PM)

Abilene Christian approves of going for two.

Ryan (NOLA)

He slipped on the 2 pt. They should let him try again

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Going for 2. Way to stick it to em Payton.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

McCallister got tackled by the turf monster

Brady (Colorado)

waste. kickers need fantasy points to.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

Going for 2, wth? Why? What is with teams running up the score?

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Who's the girl in the 9 IX commercial?

Jerry (Raleigh, NC)

Darn! They could've broke the record right there.

Matt (IN)

That IBM commercial sucks

Tom (River North)

Payton is trying to impress the voters. Oh, right there's a playoff in the NFL and not the BCS.

Payton (sideline)

We gotta score as many points as we can for tiebreaker purposes.

Robert (NCarolina)

Teacher says "everytime a Saint scores a drunken coed gets her beads".

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Payton is playing for tomorrows power rankings.

Brendan (Louisville, KY)

All commercials suck unless it's on superbowl sunday

Chad (Savannah, GA)

On sides kick?

rich s. (steelers nation)

don't you have to get up at 9 on sunday to watch nfl no thanks i like to sleep in on Sunday

Nick (Boston)

tonight must be set-up jennings night huh?

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Do you think Rodgers receivers are going to hate him for throwing over the middle down by 20 plus?

Tom (River North)

Have you seen the NFL teams on the West Coast? You could sleep right through all of their games and not miss a thing.

Robert (NCarolina)

You think the 2 pt attempt made GB D mad enough to start trying?

jesus chrysler (ND)

The pack is getting jacked!!! This is like watching a High School team...

Jake (Duluth)

Family Matters Update: More Conflict thanks to Urkel.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

It's 10 AM on Sundays and I have a 2 year old. 10 is fine.

Eric (Oakfield)

I think they went for the two point conversion to focus on one goal... pardon... one record at a time... and that's Drew Bree's beating Marino's season record

Ryan (NOLA)

Damn that Urkel!

Brett Favre (NY)

HAHAHAHAHA

Scott (Toronto)

makes perfect sense, love Sean Payton

Nathan (MN)

cue favre comparison

Mike (Lexington, KY)

Favre/Rodgers Favre-Rdogers....yawn

Buzzmaster
  (11:33 PM)

Personally, I think the Packers should have kept Blair Kiel.

Robert (NCarolina)

I miss west coast. I can't bother watching basketball anymore.

Bhavik Albuquerque, New Mexico

I just wanted to say that i feel sorry for that guy that was 1 pick away from winning a million....why the packers? you gotta go with the saints

Mark Long Island NY

Here comes the prevent defense, which hardly ever prevents anything. Hang in there Saints. WHO DAT

Ryan (NOLA)

You know who likes the Favre move best? The Miami Dolphins

Brady (Colorado)

I want them to compare Cy Young and Brett Favre. Balence the stats out and see whos better.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

My streak is up to 3 with a Saints win!

Rich Rodriquez (Ann Arbor, MI)

That guy sitting in the stands with the cheese on his head needs to get a life

jay

at least anthony Dilweg

Buzzmaster
  (11:35 PM)

Picked off in the endzone.

Jay (NY)

Noooooooooooo......I can't believe I lost after all of that.

Brady (Colorado)

lets do the interception dance.

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Another INT.

Ryan (NOLA)

for once, I just wish they would do a Starr/Rodgers comparison just to mix it up

David (Boston)

Congrats Saints. But let's face it... 2 point conversion? Trick plays when you are about to go up by 3 scores? Sean Payton has a "Dope Gene". It appeared when they played Chicago in the playoffs 2 years ago. And pops up 10-12/ year. I would be shocked if he ever led a team to a Super Bowl Title.

Jake (Duluth)

Family Matters Update: Flat tops were once hip.

jay

Kiel wouldnt have thrown that one

Robert (Huntsville, Al)

I just need 30 more points from Brees to beat the undefeated team in fantasy! I can happen! I believe it! The world is great! I believe!!!

Aaron (Boston)

Rodgers, the Saints can still see you when duck like a frightened child.

Favre (at home)

I taught Rogers how to throw those ints. I taught him well.

The Streakmaster (ESPN)

It's all a scam, folks. No one will win!

CG (Waco)

I already lost my fantasy game because McNabb gave me nothing but negative points and I lost by 2.

Buzzmaster
  (11:38 PM)

So why is Brees still in the game?

Mike (Lexington, KY)

they should take Brees out

Buzzmaster
  (11:38 PM)

Great minds ...

Jacob (Atlanta, GA)

Kiel would have punted that one

Nathan (MN)

Question-what is urkel's alter ego? the smooth lady killer, cant remember the name.

Buzzmaster
  (11:38 PM)

Punt!

Remy (Atl (Dallas at the moment)

This is an old fashion beat down...

Payton (NO)

GO for it

Max (River Forest, IL)

Because Brees has his own Fantasy addiction, and he is facing the GB D/ST this weekend ;-)

jay

Kiel would have pulled a hammy 2 quartes ago.

Robert (san antonio,TX)

getcha popcorn ready!!! oh wait is T.O playing? nope wrong game

CG (Waco)

Why is that Saints fan with the white beard praying for? They already won.

Jake (Duluth)

Last Family Matters update: Carl is dressed like a women. Im switching back to the game.

Nick (Wisconsin)

Seriously what is with the Packers and why do they use the protective max formations? I think when Favre and Holmgren ran the West Coast Offense worked the best for them.

Scott (Toronto)

Saving their old man back-up's back, and Joey cannot further his decline..thats why

Matt (IN )

Woahhhh, is David in Boston accusing the Saints of trying to run up the score? A guy from Boston complaining about running up the score. I guess he blacked out and missed all of the Patriots season last year

Aaron Brooks (Free Agency)

Re-sign me Saints!!!

Chad (Savannah, GA)

That's Saints Moses with the white beard. He has been going to Saints games as far back as I can remember, which is about 27 years of memory.

Z, Minneapolis, MN

does this loss knock the packers out of the NFC north play-off picture?

Buzzmaster
  (11:42 PM)

The NFC North playoff picture was painted by preschoolers.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

one good thing about a MNF blowout - no complaining about the refs

Buzzmaster
  (11:43 PM)

Punt!

Roger goodell

i believe the tampa bay rays will win the nfc north

Don (Chicago, IL)

Nothing I love more than a Pack loss...

Josh (Picayune, MS)

Wow Rogers is starting to look like MCnabb

CG (Waco)

The Bears and Vikings are only 6-5 the Packers are still in it.

Wide Reciever (*standing 15 yards behind Brooks*)

Aaron, I'm open! I'm open!

Brady (Colorado)

wheres the after party?

Buzzmaster
  (11:44 PM)

Denny's

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Did you just see Joey Harrington congrating Brees?

Nick (Columbus, OH)

this is good for my cowboys!

Mike (Lexington, KY)

isnt Brunell 60 years old

Jake (Duluth)

Just thought of a stupid point. When mcnabb gets old and out of shape. They can call him Donavon Mcflabb.

patrick (lafayette, la)

can the saints run the table and finish 11-5?

Robert (NCarolina)

lol...If Rodgers was annoyed with the Favre comparisons..the benched, slumping McNabb comparisions have to be worse.

Brady (Colorado)

The one in boulder? COME ON DOWN!!!!!! PANCAKES ON ME!

Matt (IN)

Wow I didn't realize Mark Brunell was still in the league.

Buzzmaster
  (11:46 PM)

Billy Joe Hobert is sadly shaking his head somewhere.

Leif (La Jolla, CA)

Drew Brees is less than a point from a perfect rating tonight.

jay

Pack doesnt even deserve Dennys. Mickey D's at best

Don (Chicago, IL)

Orton has a better neck-beard than Rodgers

Chad (Savannah, GA)

In New Orleans there is no such thing as an after party. The party never stops; just different people showing up for the same party at different times.

Josh (Covington, LA)

Brett Favre's house

Jacob (Atlanta, GA)

I miss Paul Hornung

Nathan (MN)

dennys is a good choice but i would go with dave and busters or perkins

Wesley (Gulfport, MS)

tough for the saints, they would be tied for first in the north division, instead their last in the south after tonight with a 6-5 record.

Brady (Colorado)

Jay isn't coming to dennys with us. and where the bloody hell is ray gordon reid.

Joey Harrington (Sideline)

How come I can't get in the game?

Robert (NCarolina)

I have contended the Saints would go 10-6 and beat TB twice to take 2nd in the Division..they could make me look like a freaking genius. Sports Illustrated had a midseason report pronosticating that the Saints would win the division.

The Suits (Bristol)

Ugh, the Packers are going to be on MNF again this year?!?!? WHO SCHEDULED THAT?!?!?

Ryan (NOLA)

Bell doesn't look like that good of a pickup

Chad (Savannah, GA)

Saints remaining schedule is at Tampa, Atlanta at home, at Chicago, at Detroit, and Carolina at home. 10-6 isnā??t out of the question.

Mike (Lexington, KY)

The Panthers will win the division

CG (Waco)

Well I'm out. Happy Turkey Day everybody!!

Buzzmaster
  (11:50 PM)

That'll do it here. Enjoy the holiday and see you next Monday!
