Chat with Pat Yasinskas

truepantherfan [via mobile]

Do you think peppers will play another season with the cardiac cats

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:51 PM)

No, I think there will be a trade before or during the draft. If not, I think a holdout is a real possibility. All right, we're rolling -- 10 minutes early.

Matt (Miami, FL)

Hey Pat! Big Saints fan here. Is there a possibility the Saints take Jenkins in the first round and are able to take Rashad Jennings in the 4th round? This is the ideal situation, but is it realistic?

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:52 PM)

I like that scenario, too. But I think Jennings will go before the 4th.

Glenn Rock Hill [via mobile]

Pat I enjoy reading your blogs keep up the good work! I'm a big big bucs fan why don't we pursue a matt leinart maybe or who do you think we'll bring in maybe quinn or anderson still, and I thought we shouldve signed tank personally. Thanks

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:53 PM)

Stay tuned on all that. Trade scenarios will heat up as we get closer to the draft.

Rusty , Houma,LA

What team in the NFC South helped themselves the most?

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:54 PM)

I've got to say the Saints right now. Like what they've done with their defense. Panthers and Falcons haven't done much. Bucs dismantled things and have made some nice moves in the aftermath, but they're still a work in progress.

Tim (Atlanta, Ga)

Yo Pat. Do you think Roddy White will hold out in training camp if he doesn't get the big contract he wants? This is his contract year...

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:55 PM)

Don't know that it will get to that point. I think Falcons will continue to work on getting new contract done.

Blake ( Greensboro, NC)

If Peppers leaves Carolina who will be the other defensive captain opposite of Jon Beason?

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:55 PM)

Maybe Chris Harris. He's the most logical one.

Zack (Reading, PA)

With the schedule coming out on Tuesday, how many Monday night games should the South get? I'm thinking Atlanta at Carolina is a good bet.

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:56 PM)

Yeah, that would make sense. I think you're going to see Atlanta get two or three prime-time games. Carolina and New Orleans each will get a couple.

Charles (Atlanta, GA)

Wouldn't the Bucs be better served to wait on a QB and take the best available player? It seems to me that there is a big prospect quaterback every year and they could just wait.

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:58 PM)

Yeah, I'd wait. They've got other needs besides QB. Use the first round pick on someone that can start and help right away.

Jarrett (Atlanta)

Hey Pat I'm a Falcons fan and have been posting for weeks now and haven't been responded to. But anyway if you had the #24 pick who would you pick out of Brace Delmas and Chung? or would you pick something else?

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:58 PM)

I'd say Delmas.

Bobby (Jasper, GA)

Pat, Do you think the Panthers are really settled with Lewis and Kemoatu at defensive tackle or are they sarters by default benefiting from the team's salary cap crunch coupled with no first round selection? I was shocked when the Panthers extended both of them without even attempting to upgrade a defensive tackle position that was clearly a weakness going down the stretch last season.

Pat Yasinskas
  (12:59 PM)

They're not bad as starters. But Panthers need to get one more quality DT to rotate in with them.

jatchis, Atlanta, GA

Pat, When can we expect word from Goodell/the NFL on the status of the pending suspensions of Will Smith and Charles Grant?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:00 PM)

Good question. It's in the hands of lawyers. I think there's a court date coming up. Don't have it handy, but I think it's in early June. So I wouldn't expect anything until after that.

aaron (hammond, la)

hey pat, saints take chris wells and trade late rounds for another first round to take malcolm jenkins. Do you like this suggestion, or too far out there?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:01 PM)

They've only got three more picks and nothing before fourth round. I don't think they've got enough to get them back into the first round. Nice idea though.

Nick in Tampa

Why is everyone so down on Luke McCown. He's not really been given a chance, he's has some really good moments, notably torching the saints through the air. Do you think he deserves a chance?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:02 PM)

Yeah, the guy definitely has some positives. I've liked the little we've seen of him. I think he's got a shot.

Kurt (New Orleans)

Thanks for all the great work you've done. Anyway, Darren Sharper's contract was only a one year deal. I think this shows that they are targeting a safety in the draft for Sharper to groom. However, if Malcolm Jenkins is gone what do they do?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:03 PM)

Possibly try to trade down a bit and get Delmas. They could drop down to somewhere around 20, pick up an extra pick and get Delmas.

Dwight: (Scranton)

Pat, who is going to have a bigger impact for the Saints this year, Dan Morgan or Rod Coleman? Should we look for either as a possibility for Comeback Player of the Year??

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:04 PM)

Dan Morgan. If he stays on the field, he'll have a huge impact.

Jeff, Mpls

It's been said that after Freeman, the other tier of QB's won't start getting drafted until the 4-5 round. With that in mind, would teams rather draft their own QB to groom versus having a guy like Leftwich come in who is already "somewhat" proven?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:04 PM)

Depends on the team and the coach. But I think Bucs would be better getting veteran. I think Freeman might need a year or two to develop. Morris needs to win right away.

chauncey (teaneck)

Is Matt Ryan for real?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:05 PM)

Absolutely. Read my Mike Peterson item from yesterday where he compares Ryan to Peyton Manning. I agree with him.

Lloyd (Baton Rouge, LA)

Hey Pat, by franchising Julius Peppers the Panthers have tied up a huge part of their money. Do you think that was a good move and the risk is worth the reward, or should they have tried to acquire some free agents with the money given to Peppers?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:06 PM)

It ain't over yet. If they come out of this thing with a first round pick (and another pick or two) and some cap money, they'll be fine.

Fernando (Sorocaba - Brazil)

Ok... you say Peppers will no longer be a Panther. But where wold he go? Are there any teams (besides the patriots story) realy interested in him? Thanks for the great work!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:07 PM)

Teams keep their interest quiet. Patriots and Eagles are two I see as possible. Couple more could pop up as draft gets close.

Tim (Atlanta, Ga)

Do you think Coach Smith is happy with the LB's he has right now? I'm hoping we pick up one in the first round because I think Wire is a backup guy. If we could get a Cushing, Mathews, or Laurinaitus, to go alongside Lofton and Peterson, that would be deadly.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:08 PM)

Think you'll see one more LB added early in draft. But not necessarily first round. They got a nice second-rounder in Lofton last year and could go that route again.

rjd Dallas Texas [via mobile]

Who is better, Reggie bush, deangelo Williams,Johnethan Stewart, or Ernest graham

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:09 PM)

I'd take DeAgelo of that bunch. But what about Michael Turner?

Tim (Atlanta, Ga)

Of course Matt Ryan is for real. Look at his coaching! He'll only get better. Not to mention he is a pretty good golfer as well. He shot an 88 at Augusta his first time there. For an amateur, that's not too shabby. Who you liking this weekend Pat?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:10 PM)

All I know about golf is Tiger.

Anthony (Los Angeles, CA

Hey Pat. Love your stuff. Do you see the bucs making a move for roscoe parrish now that the bills are shopping him? What do you think they want in return?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:10 PM)

No, I think they'd be better off keeping their remaining picks and drafting WR somewhere.

Justin in Tampa

Do you think there is a DT in the draft that can have an immediate impact on the Bucs DL?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:11 PM)

Yeah, Brace, Jerry or maybe even Raji, if he falls.

glenn sc [via mobile]

Jim bates is supposed to run a more aggresive defense do you think the offense is gonna be more exciting to

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:11 PM)

Yes, it'll be nice to see a vertical passing game, instead of a horizontal one.

Lloyd (Baton Rouge, LA)

Hey Pat, you know what they say about ifs: "If ifs where skiffs we'd all go sailing". "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" etc.... So possibly keeping a player who will not be happy than going to get a few players who will play for you is worth the risk of destroying a locker room or at least a hold out? I don't get it.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:13 PM)

In the Peppers case, I think Panthers are just doing what they have to in order to get some value in return.

Chris in Tampa

Do you think there will be a significant back lash in the bucs locker room because of K2's new contract (namely wiht Ruud and Bryant?)

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:14 PM)

Not yet anyway. There's still time and plenty of cap room to get something done with one or both of them.

Jack roanoke texas [via mobile]

Hey how close do u thnk the bucs are to signing byron leftwich

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:15 PM)

From what I've heard, not real close. They might wait until after the draft and see where they're at then.

Corey (Washington DC)

Pat, isnt it silly to consider Reggie Bush a bust of any kind? Im not even a real fan of his, but if you told a GM you could get Reggie Bush-like stats from a RB in this draft, dont you think they jump on it? The guy can get 80+ catches in a season, along with 700 yds rushing, and be a top-flight punt returner. What am I missing?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:16 PM)

Yeah, I don't think you can call him a bust. Has he lived up to No. 2 pick and the hype? No. But he's done some good things and has potential to do more.

Kevin (Austin TX)

Pat, with so much young talent, why arent the Panthers trying to find their QB of the future? They are a Delhomme injury away from not even making the playoffs, and are a superbowl contender with him playing well.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:17 PM)

Don't disagree with you at all. But in the eyes of Fox and Hurney, they're sticking with Jake and they like McCown and Moore as backups and think either one could someday be starter.

Marques (Reno, NV)

What up Pat? Loyal Saints Fan and I enjoy you work. Everyone from fans to the media have their own opinion about what the Saints will do with the 14th. pick. Do they go defense (Jenkins/Davis-CB/S, Cushing/Matthews-LB) or Offense (Wells/Morano-RB). You are still staying with the belief that they will go defense first and get a possible big back maybe in the 4th. round. My question is do you think that (depending on how the draft lines up)the Saints best senerio is to trade down and possibly get the best of both worlds? (Still end up with Jenkins, Davis, or best remaining LB and pick up additional picks).

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:18 PM)

Trade down would be great if they can work one. It'd be nice to get an extra pick or two.

Zack (Reading, PA)

Pat who is the starting RB in Tampa?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:18 PM)

Ward -- you pay a guy like that and he's your starter.

lonnie(cincinnati)

Any derrick brooks news?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:18 PM)

No, hang on until after the draft. I think there'll be something then.

Jason, Tampa

Is J. Phillips going to make a solid LB? or do you think this is a bad experiment? The guy hits like a truck...

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:19 PM)

I like it. When you really look at it, he's almost the same size as Brooks and June.

Drew (Buffalo)

Yasser, i can't think of a question because the NFC south doesn't interest me at all, but I like your writing. Have a good weekend and Easter, if you celebrate it. That is all.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:19 PM)

Happy Easter to you and everyone else.

Caleb (New Orleans, LA)

Hi Pat, I absolutely love this blog! Why do you think Kiper still has "Beanie" Wells going to the Saints? Mel knows his stuff as good or better than anyone, it just seems odd to use your first round pick on someone who probably will do most of his playing on short yardage situations? I don't see the Deuce McAllister comparisons...after all, wasn't Deuce a shifty scatback when he was drafted?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:20 PM)

Mel could be right. But I'd go defense if I were Payton and Loomis.

Nick Walling Slidell Louisiana

Pat, loyal saints fan here. Just out of curiosity, if you were to rebuild the Saints glaring holes, who would you pick in the draft?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:21 PM)

Malcolm Jenkins.

PMI in Tampa

Do you think the biggest mistake of the Gruden era was running out McKay?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:22 PM)

Not really. I like McKay and thought he did some great things for Bucs and brought stability to the organization. But the situation there was so bad between he and Gruden that something had to give.

john Dallas TX [via mobile]

Is peppers to Dallas dead, or are the 'Boys staying quiet til Jerry van make a good move

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:23 PM)

I would never rule anything out when it comes to Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.

Nick in Tampa

Can you REALLY SEE Vick in a BUCS uniform? Sapp would lose his mind...

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:23 PM)

Not a chance.

Daniel (Hampton, VA)

Why is everyone so big on Reggie Bush? I've been a saints fan for 21 years, He hasn't done anything for us. Why not trade him for some help on the defense? If you count 12.1 million against the cap you better be pro-bowl material!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:24 PM)

You think other teams are lining up to trade for him???

Lloyd (Baton Rouge, LA)

Pat, do you think Gruden is as good a coach as some people have made him out to be. I still can't get the fact that he won with Dungy's guys when he won the Super Bowl and has been so-so at best since.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:25 PM)

As an in-game coach, I think he's very good. All the locker room and off-field stuff are not his strengths.

Tony (Tampa, FL)

Now that the Bucs have passed on Leftwich, which is more likely: picking up a fourth QB in FA or the draft?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:26 PM)

I don't think it's completely over with Leftwich. If he wants to come in for a one-year minimum deal, I think it's still possible.

Jacob Charlotte nc

Happy passover pat.Pat why has the peppers trade talk has slow down so much that we are not hearing anything from either peppers agent pepper or from the panthers?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:27 PM)

I think the agent has just decided that maybe going public all the time isn't necessarily the best way to get something done. I think things will heat up right before the draft.

David (Tulsa, OK)

Do you believe Lance Moore will be a Saint this season?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:28 PM)

Yes, even if somebody makes an offer, I think Saints will match it.

Daniel Tampa

Any news with Vick and the Bucs

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:28 PM)

No and I don't think there will be.

curt ohio [via mobile]

Cmon pat tell me when the afc north chat is

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:28 PM)

Not sure. Check James Walker's AFC North blog.

Tom, TAMPA

Its well known that Tampa needs a QB, is Freeman that man, wouldnt it be wiser to take a DT like Jerry with 19, if both happen to be there?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:29 PM)

I'd take a DT or WR there. I don't think Freeman can help right away.

Daniel (Hampton, VA)

At this time who do you see winning the NFC South? NFC?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:29 PM)

Let's wait until after the draft on that.

Daniel Tampa

Is Sabby Piscatelli going to start at SS if JP plays LB?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:30 PM)

Yep.

Frat (Athens, GA)

Pat, why the Laurent Robinson trade? By all appearances we traded a promising young receiver for a few extra draft spots. Was something else going on behind the scenes? Is this really a good trade for the Falcons?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:30 PM)

Yeah, the coaches had given up on him. They didn't like the fact he wasn't very physical.

Brad (Tampa)

Pat, thanks for the chat, now get out of here. Its the WEEKEND!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:31 PM)

Nah, still have 30 minutes before the weekend starts.

Alan (New Orleans)

Pat, thousandth time's a charm: Saints A-/B+ Falcons B- Panthers C Bucs I Thoughts?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:32 PM)

Sounds about right, except I'd give Carolina an incomplete too. Lets see how the Peppers thing sorts out.

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

With all due respect to Matt Mosley, I think the NFC South is the best/toughest division of football. You two should team up for a debate/article on which division is the toughest!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:33 PM)

Yes, some respect for the NFC South. Matt and I might have to talk about that on a slow day in May or June.

Lloyd (Baton Rouge, LA)

Who is the next Saint to be released for cap space? Jason David?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:33 PM)

That would be the logical one.

Pat (New Orleans LA)

Pat, is Robert Meachem that bad? I read a rumor that he will have trouble making the roster this year. Whats the deal?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:34 PM)

There was a little bit of hope out of him late last year. They'll give him another year to show something.

Anthony (Las Vegas)

Pat my first time in the chat, read it all the time. Buccs fan living in Vegas, Is Michael Clayton going to have a break out year?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:34 PM)

I think he'll have a solid year. Maybe 50 catches and lots of good run blocking.

Tony (MD)

How come no one is giving any love to Pierre Thomas? He looked like what they wanted Bush to do last year? I don't get it....

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:35 PM)

Hey, I like Pierre. That's why I think they can wait beyond first round to get a power runner to go with him.

Jacob Charlotte nc

Pat please courect me if i am wrong but i thought that in order for the panther to be able to trade peppers must sign his 1year franchise tag .If he want to get out of charlotte ASAP why does he not sign his 1 year franchise tag So the Cats can trade him???

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:36 PM)

True. But that's just a technicality. His agent is allowed to go out and pursue possible trades and he's been doing that.

Frat (Athens, GA)

Pat what do you think about all the talk saying Matt Ryan was figured out towards the end of the season and won't make much of an impact this year? Please tell me he just became fatigued over the course of the long season and he will be every bit as effective as last year.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:36 PM)

Agree. I think he'll be even more effect this year. He is very much for real.

Caleb (New Orleans, LA)

Pat, do you think the Saints should jump on B.J. Raji if he falls to #14?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:37 PM)

Yes, absolutely. Him and Ellis would be a nice combo in the middle.

Henry (Bloomington)

Mel Kiper's new mock draft has falcons taking 3 offensive players in the first 4 rounds. Makes no sense to me. Your thoughts?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:38 PM)

I'd go defense almost all the way through the draft. A tight end somewhere in middle rounds, but all D aside from that.

Pat (Tampa, Florida)

When will the Bucs EVER wear the throwback Orange and White uniforms? I was disappointed a few years ago when we played on Thanksgiving and didn't have our old uniforms!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:38 PM)

I'm pretty sure they've already said they're going to wear them at some point this season. Anybody remember if that's correct???

Joe (MD)

Is WR Arrington the next Colston? I've read Coach Peyton has his eye on him.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:40 PM)

I thought Arrington was awesome when I saw him in camp last year. Know the Saints are high on him. Not sure if he'll become Colston, but I think he can be pretty good.

Jarrett (Atlanta)

Back again Pat. Thanks for answering my question earlier. I guess I'll try my luck and go 2 for 2. I just want to know why you think everybody keeps projecting Pettigrew going to us at 24? Don't they do research and look at our defensive needs before they make mocks?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:40 PM)

Guess because it's the flashy pick. But I can't see the Falcons investing first-round pick on a TE.

David (Tulsa, OK)

Pat, is it true that J. Peppers is not talking to his teammates and could be a holdout if a trade is not done?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:41 PM)

Yes, had an item on that in my blog the other day. Check it out. I think it was Wednesday.

Jason: Birmingham, AL

The Bucs will wear the throwbacks in England against the Patriots.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:42 PM)

Good, let the British see the creamscile colors up close.

AC (orlando, fl)

Do you see the bucs picking P. Harvin at 19??

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:43 PM)

If they go WR, I think they go Heyward-Bey. They need a deep threat, not another Reggie Bush type.

Billy (ATL)

Can Malcom Jenkins play SS?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:43 PM)

Think most teams view him as a FS or a CB.

jason (in tampa)

No, the bucs already said they will be worn in the game the weekend we introduce our ring of honor

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:44 PM)

All right, we're getting conflicting reports. I'll have to check on this and will post something on the blog.

Zach ( Stone Mountain, GA)

Pat love the stuff! quick question. rate your predictions of the NFC's draft grades for the upcoming draft.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:44 PM)

How 'bout we grade them after they draft?

Jim charlotte nc

Oh yea pat how do you feel about benign so wrong and picking last Nova to beat North Carolina?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:45 PM)

Hey, I'm a football guy. Congrats to the Heels.

Alan (New Orleans)

My question got answered! All those still chasing your dream of showing up on the chat, don't give up hope! Yasinskas Lives!!!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:46 PM)

I do my best to spread it around. But I've got 514 questions right now.

Billy (ATL)

If Jenkins slipped to the falcons could you see them playing him at FS and moving coleman to SS

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:46 PM)

Yes, makes sense. Coleman can play either spot.

Leroy (The weak south)

I guess the only way to get a question in is to lower myself and pretend I like the south. You guys are still in denile from the war. You know the south can't compete with the northeast. Please admit it?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:47 PM)

Some of us grew up in the Northeast and came to our senses and choose to live in the South.

Giant Machine

How bout year 2 of the Shockey Era in the big easy? Do you think he will actually contribute more, or blow up the Saints completely?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:48 PM)

Give the guy a chance to come back healthy. Not saying he's going to be a big success, but I don't think you can judge him on last year because he never was really healthy.

Lloyd (Baton Rouge, LA)

You tell him Pat. There is something called "Southern Hospitality" that many people from the north just don't get!!!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:49 PM)

There's also the weather.

Chris (Andover, MN)

Hey Pat, why don't you ever answer my question, I've had to have asked this atleast a hundred times, and I haven't seen you answer any similar question. What do you think about the Bucs trading for either Tyler Thigpen or Brodie Coyle to compete with McCown? I imagine they could get either one for pretty cheap.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:49 PM)

Possible. But do you really think either of those guys is the answer.

James (Carrollton, GA)

Hey Pat!! Do you remember publishing my question in a chat a few months ago about a possible new dome? I didn't see you give me any credit when you posted it on your blog!! Just kidding, but really I told you they were thinking about it!!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:50 PM)

Yep, you were right.

Wes (Atlanta)

What happened to all of the Rodney Harrison to ATL rumours?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:50 PM)

Nothing more than rumors.

Jack (NYC)

Percent falcons trade back in the first round? Would they be able to swap late 1st and get a third rounder?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:51 PM)

Maybe about 20 percent. It's not as easy as we all think to just make a trade. But Dimitroff has that in his background, so it's possible.

Jason: Birmingham, AL

Don't mess with the south Leroy. We have all the guns...and our girls are tan.

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:52 PM)

He's not lying.

(Orlando)

Pat, can my question get answered? I'm a fan of your work on the NFC South. The Bucs need DT help. Could they acquire DT Shaun Rodgers for 81st pick in '09(3rd rd) and TE Alex Smith?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:53 PM)

Price tag sounds about right. But that leaves Bucs with no second or third rounders. Not sure if they're willing to do that.

Lloyd (Baton Rouge, LA)

Hey Pat, will you be doing any more blogs that rank each NFC South team by position - WR, QB, D-line, O-line, etc... anytime soon?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:54 PM)

Yes, I'll try to do that sometime before training camp. Might be a good idea for the slow times in June.

Robbi (Clinton Ky)

oh wonderful weather here in far west Ky lets see hurricane last sSEpt, biggest Ice storm in history in Jan. no power or phones for 12 days.,.. tornado warning as I type. I love the Steelers

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:54 PM)

Sunny and 80 here in Tampa.

Jeremy ( Philly )

Yea Pat! Do you think Duce MacCallister will hook up with another team or has the end come?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:55 PM)

Sad to say, I think it's time for Deuce to walk away. If he does play, I wish him all the best. Great guy.

phil, tampa

sign losman. he looks like adam sandler and hes better then windup leftwich. on second thought he kind of reminds me of mccown. shoot me somebody or at least tell me everything is going to be alright??

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:56 PM)

You know, I hadn't thought much about Losman. Not a bad idea.

Jason (in tampa)

Hey pat, Courtside Grille in St.Pete for happy hour??

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:56 PM)

I generally don't cross the bridge. But I am gonna try to go to a Rays game next week.

CP (Greenbelt, MD)

No Roy Williams (the safety) to Atlanta rumors?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:57 PM)

No, I think they're very serious about going with youth.

Diana (Miss)

What would good compensation for the falcons first round pick be?

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:58 PM)

Go back to my blog. I had an item early in the week that had the draft-pick value chart. You can get a better answer off that than I can give you off the top of my head.

Matt (Miami)

Pat, time to get out of here! Have a good weekend, and thanks for a great chat!

Pat Yasinskas
  (1:59 PM)

Matt, thanks for opening the door. Thanks to all for stopping by. You were great, as always. Happy holiday weekend to all.
