Monday Night FB chat!

Buzzmaster
  (12:18 PM)

Hello football fans! We'll be here each week starting at 7:30 p.m. ET to chat live up to and during the Monday Night Football game! Get your best questions and comments ready and submit them below!

Bill Barnwell
  (7:31 PM)

Alright, everyone, let's get to chatting. Before I start, I might as well address the Belichick thing. My full -- as in, 800 words -- thoughts on the topic are in this week's Quick Reads, at http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=4659228. In short, I think that the call is defensible, but there's no clear-cut answer suggesting that the move was definitively good or bad.

Ed Rutan (Montana)

If Bill Belichick decides to go for it and dosn't get it then he should also decide to let them score asap so his HOF qb can lead them to a FG. huh Missed that one to didn't he

Bill Barnwell
  (7:32 PM)

Agreed that the Patriots should have let the Colts score pretty much instantly, especially on that Addai run. Very hard to get 11 people to allow someone to score, though.

Dhanvin (Toledo,OH)

Go Browns! I know they are going to lose but I love them and I will root for them until the day I die!

Bill Barnwell
  (7:32 PM)

Dhanvin, you are a heck of a fan. I don't know if the Browns deserve you.

Ken (Ohio)

What gives? I thought the NFL kept the Thursday, Sunday and Monday night prime time slots open for the last part of the season. There are now several lame matchups coming up, meanwhile we are missing out on surging teams like the Bengals as they may go on a real run this season.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:33 PM)

Only Sunday night games have flex scheduling, and that doesn't start until Week 11.

Christian Stone (Dallas )

Why wasn't the Felix Jones fumble reviewable in the Cowboy game?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:35 PM)

Because fumble recovery isn't a reviewable play. The call on the field for fumble recoveries stands automatically. It was the wrong call, but it couldn't be overturned.

J.B. (Dunmore, PA)

I miss Gary Horton! Football Outsiders aren't just a bunch of street-toughs are they?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:36 PM)

I prefer to think of us as a group of street-toughs, actually.

odie (dallas)

Watching the Dallas yesterday made me want to yakk...was the Dallas game a case of a good team getting sloppy and losing, or a mediocre team losing and heading toward 9-7? They need a dominant performance against the 'Skins in the worst way.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:38 PM)

Think it's a matter of fumble recovery. There were five fumbles in the game, three by Dallas, two by Green Bay, some of which could have had game-changing implications because of where they happened. Green Bay recovered four of them. If Dallas recovers four of them, they win.

HW (Bel Air, Md)

How Jaws say that Flacco has NOT progressed? This isn't Brady Quinn here.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:39 PM)

Well, he's watched the tape and sees a quarterback that's less accurate on his deep throws, still has trouble picking up the rush and identifying blitzers, and has accuracy issues at the intermediate level.

Ben (Los Angeles)

Is there any logic to which types of calls are reviewable (fumble) vs non-reviewable (fumble recoveries)?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:40 PM)

...some. They try and get rid of reviews of judgment calls, for better or worse.

Tylor (Ohio)

Who do you see the Browns picking up in the draft?...seeing as thats about the only thing they can look forward to

Bill Barnwell
  (7:40 PM)

Sam Bradford?

Mike (San Diego)

Bill, any chance this is Mangini's last game as an HC? Why Lerner hired him is beyond me. Your thoughts?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:41 PM)

Suspect Mangini is sticking around through the remainder of the season, but nothing beyond that. Hard to flop more prominently than Mangini has, and he's lost in the court of public opinion.

Ben (Los Angeles)

What would you suggest non-Cleveland/non-Baltimore fans look for tonight to make this game more interesting? Or should we just pray for the onset of flex scheduling?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:42 PM)

Watch Shaun Rogers on every snap and see the incredible stuff he does despite having little talent around him, play after play. See if Matt Birk can handle him, or how the Ravens double him up. Watch what Brady Quinn does that Derek Anderson can't do -- namely, hit receivers in stride.

Ryan (San Diego, CA)

Is the Cutler/Rivers debate over?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:43 PM)

I think until Cutler gets some semblance of an offensive line, it's over. Even before this season, though, Rivers was clearly the better quarterback.

Nick (MN)

Bill, I play fantasy football. My first round draft pick was Maurice Jones-Drew. I had a big matchup this week for first place. I lost by 5 points. I know he apologized, but I honestly am still in shock. Where do I go from here?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:44 PM)

Wow. Well, on the other hand, you should be thankful that you've had MJD and not Matt Forte all year.

Greg Kaltenbach (Boise Id)

In one or two years Boise state Broncos will be able to beat the Gators, Alabama, Texas, Why do the big schools now don't want to play Boise State? even on their own turf. College football should be about competion, not all about money.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:44 PM)

It's generally a bad idea to project elite performance for great teams in mid-level conferences several years into the future.

Chioke Hassan (Baltimore,Md)

Dear ESPNCould you Dante Stallworth be gone from the Browns after this season?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:45 PM)

I can't make it happen, Chioke, but I would not be surprised whatsoever if Stallworth was released.

LV (OH)

The Browns get 11 draft picks next year, do you think Mangini will be making those picks? I just keep thinking of the draft where 23 of the 32 first rounders ended up being probowlers and we got some QB that was no good (not that he couldn't have succeeded somwhere else) its scares me a little that this could garuntee the Browns years of crap...

Bill Barnwell
  (7:47 PM)

I don't think Mangini's decision to trade down was a bad idea, but I do think that acquiring reserve Jets as opposed to sticking strictly with draft picks was ill-advised. I don't think Mangini will be around to make those picks, but I do believe that there will be a wiser decision-maker around in the "czar" position who will be capable of making quality draft picks.

Zales (Chi)

What are your expectations for Brady (Quinn) for this game and beyond? I remember him being a legit prospect before the draft and ever since he sat in the green room for hours, his stock hasn't been the same. Your thoughts?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:48 PM)

Aaron Rodgers suffered the same fate on Draft Day and then sat for three years, but when he got his chance, he was a franchise quarterback. I think that Quinn, if left alone and allowed to regain his confidence, could play just as well.

Lane (Kukuihaele, HI)

Belichick has been crtiticized before. When he left the Jets to go to the Patriots. When he benched Bledsoe for Brady. When they gave the Patriots no shot against the Rams. When he let go of Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch. When he traded for a supposedly washed up Randy Moss. So what. He's a reason why people watched the Patriots-Colts game.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:49 PM)

Of course. Every coach takes criticism, especially when they do things that are out of the box, like Belichick does. In this case, you can make a quantifiable case that his decision is defensible, if not necessarily a shoo-in correct one.

Ben (FL)

I think the Raven's Def are looking for blood to regain their early season confidence. This game is going to be one-sided in favor of the ravens.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:52 PM)

If you could just go for blood to regain your confidence whenever you wanted, why wouldn't you go for blood every week? Furthermore, wouldn't the Ravens have been going for blood last week, when Cedric Benson came back after his 100-yard game, only to do so for the second time in a row against them? I think they will play well, and be aided by the fact that the Browns offense isn't very good.

EEW (PA)

Leave it to the Bungles! One day after their biggest win in years and the news breaks that they are going after another bad seed in LJ........I was at the game yesterday and really was beginning to respect them for how they played "Steelerlike" football......Now this move....Why? Like Keyshawn says......COME ON MAN!

Bill Barnwell
  (7:54 PM)

I am going to speculate that you might perhaps be a Steelers fan, EEW. I don't think Larry Johnson offers the Bengals much because of his talents, let alone what he brings to the table off the field. Of course, the Bengals also did their due diligence on Cedric Benson, who was a bad seed upon his arrival, and Benson appears to have matured into a solid human being and football player. So people can change.

Fberger (El Centro, CA)

Are the broncos done without orton?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:55 PM)

They're in trouble, but they can still win games with their defense and a better-prepared Chris Simms. Remember, guys coming in with no notice play worse than they would if they were starting, because they have the chance to get a week of practice reps with the first team.

Curtis W. (Cincinnati)

Everytime a team runs the wildcat, they always seem to have the quarterback lined up at wideout. Why don't teams fully utilize this formation by replacing the quarterback with a WR or RB?

Bill Barnwell
  (7:56 PM)

Substitution purposes. The second the quarterback came off the field, the defensive coordinator would send his "Wildcat" defense in there. Keeping a quarterback in the huddle allows for the element of surprise.

Ken Shuba (Orlando)

Why isn't anyone mentioning the most obvious 3 factors in the Steelers loss to the Bengals? 1. Field was a mess after the Pitt/ND game, caused injuries to Benson and Polamalou? 2. Troy's injury hurt the Defense so much, Bengals reverted to their first meetings Game Plan, dumped ball off just over the Linebackers where Troy usually is to stop opponents...wasn't there again, so Bengals moved the ball 10yrds at a time, and got into FG range. 3. Jet Lag! The Steelers came off a Monday Denver game and lost to the Bengals, just like the Ravens did the week before...the Bengals didn't go anywhere far for their practices. the Ravens and Steelers had to come back from Mile High, then play on a "short week"...no wonder the Bengals were stronger, faster, tougher...they were basically "home". Any thoughts? (pass it along to all your analysts)

Bill Barnwell
  (7:58 PM)

I don't know if those things were either the obvious three factors or the most applicable to the game. The field was a mess, sure, but as you mentioned, it affected both teams. The Steelers have played well with Polamalu out of the lineup before, but certainly, there's reason to believe that Polamalu helped the Bengals win, and that's come up in discussion about the game. As for jet lag, I haven't seen or conducted research that suggests that teams that play on Monday night perform worse than expected playing on the following Sunday. Especially at home. Apply Occam's Razor to the situation -- the Steelers couldn't move the ball and Ben Roethlisberger was awful on third down.

Ben (Los Angeles)

Statistically speaking, do you agree with Gregg Easterbrook (Tuesday Morning Quarterback) that teams SHOULD go for it on 4th down more often than they do now? He often references a high school team (in Arkansas I think) who almost always goes for it on 4th down, even deep in their own territory.

Bill Barnwell
  (7:59 PM)

Teams should absolutely go for it more than they do now, although not as much as some papers have suggested (because of the Law of Unintended Consequences). In general, teams would see a positive expectation from going for it on fourth-and-2 or less from their own 40-yard line and beyond.

Jason (WV)

Do you think Jerome Harrison will get some looks in tonight's matchup? He seems a lot more explosive than J Lew, but hasn't been given much of a shot.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:00 PM)

Hope so. Think he's a dynamic player that deserves a larger piece of the pie in Cleveland. He's one of those versatile players that smart teams end up acquiring and giving larger roles.

Taylor (santa barbara)

Is Mason an under-rated WR? Seems like he goes under the radar a lot

Bill Barnwell
  (8:02 PM)

What, is there a bus that goes there or something? It must connect through Oakland.Mason's ability to be a very good (if not elite) receiver for a long time is probably valued accurately. He's been lucky to spend most of his career on good teams with effective running games.

Dalton (Vacaville, CA)

5 interceptions equals 10 points for the 49ers on Thursday night. Does that sum up their offense?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:03 PM)

There's a lot of problems with that offense, yeah. The line is awful, and when the Bears took away Vernon Davis, Alex Smith couldn't adapt.

Trent Paisley (Saskatoon, SK, Canada)

I think the Saints' struggles yesterday with the Rams had as much to do with Jabari Greer being out, as it did Darren Sharper being out. In the games I've seen, Greer seemed to be playing at a very high level. How's he grading out?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:03 PM)

I don't know about that; Usama Young had a pick in Sharper's stead in the end zone. I agree that Greer is playing well, although I don't have specific numbers.

ryan (texas)

Are the Titans going to make the playoffs?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:04 PM)

No, unequivocally, absolutely, no, not happening, not a chance.

Zhou (Los Angeles)

How many games will Vince Young need to win in order to convince you the Titans will make the playoffs?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:05 PM)

Eight more. Which is a problem, since they only have seven games left.

ja (md)

do you think with portis out they had to spread the ball around making them more productive

Bill Barnwell
  (8:06 PM)

I don't think so, ja; they ran the ball very effectively with Ladell Betts against what had been one of the league's best rush defenses. Think they just outmuscled Denver up front, which was a surprise, to say the least!

$iCK NiCk (Cleveland)

To Jason from WV.....Unfortunately for Cleveland running backs we only have one run play....up the middle....and a team like Baltimore eats that for breakfast!!! Im a Die Hard Browns fan, but am tired of watching the same play over and over again!!!!

Bill Barnwell
  (8:06 PM)

Well, the Ravens won't have Haloti Ngata in the lineup, since he's inactive for the second consecutive week. That will help some.

Kenzie (FL)

Who's better?.. Colts or Saints?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:07 PM)

Think you have to go with the Colts. Saints have looked pretty average these past three games against some weak competition.

Tim (Austin, MN)

How good is Ray Rice?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:08 PM)

Better than I thought he would be, I'll say that much. I underestimated how effective he would be as a receiver and a blocker; I thought he'd be good in those roles, but he's arguably the league's best receiving back at the moment.

Brent (Cleveland)

How is it that this Browns franchise can make every wrong decision possible? Can't be the coaches there's a new group every 3 years. Can't be the players, they only try when they find another team. Could it be possible that Randy Lener just doesn't want to be an NFL owner and got the team dropped on him after his father passed away?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:09 PM)

I don't know about that, although it's pretty apparent that Lerner's love at the moment is his EPL team, Aston Villa. (His hire there, Martin O'Neill, was far better than his decision to nab Eric Mangini, although I think the two would get along well.)If Lerner didn't want to be an NFL owner, why wouldn't he sell the team?

Marcie (Seattle)

who are the inactive players for tonight's game? I have ladarius webb will he play?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:11 PM)

The inactives are at http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/5647/ravens-browns-inactives. Lardarius Webb will be in the lineup, although I don't know how big his role will be.

Brent (Cleveland)

Suppose Clevelands 11 draft picks next draft are traded around quite well and they end up with both a mid and late first round and an early second round pick. what positions should the browns go for with those?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:13 PM)

Um, let's see. It really depends upon what they do in other places this offseason, so it's very difficult to guess. Their biggest holes right now are at right tackle, tight end, inside linebacker, and cornerback. Jamal Lewis is also suggesting that he'll retire. So I'd start there.

Andy (IN)

What is up with the GB offensive line, besides the fact they couldn't keep cheerleaders from sacking Aaron Rodgers

Bill Barnwell
  (8:13 PM)

That's sort of the problem. And maybe Aaron Rodgers doesn't want to be saved from sacks by cheerleaders.

Kyle (Cleveland)

Dont you think the browns would be suited better to take Taylor Mays than Bradford? I mean the guys a beast and they need a hard hitter with some attitude back there.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:15 PM)

To an extent, sure, but safety isn't a need position for them, and the history of safeties taking high in the draft isn't exactly sterling. Safeties taken in the top ten over the past few years include LaRon Landry, Michael Huff, Donte Whitner, Sean Taylor, and Roy Williams. Excluding the obviously tragic circumstances surrounding Taylor, that's not exactly a glowing recommendation. Think it's better to focus on safety later on in the draft.

Dave (Cleveland)

Having lived in Cleveland for the last 23 years I am use to being disappointed by the Browns but this year feels like we have just hit rock bottom. The only played I like enjoy watching is Josh Cribs. He's our best offensive play-maker and has played his heart out for the Browns. After several request's for a new contract the Browns have given him no love. Do you think Cribs is going to be in a Browns uniform next year? - Concerned Browns fan

Bill Barnwell
  (8:16 PM)

I think Cribbs will re-up with the Browns, sure, but I don't think he's much of an offensive playmaker. Great return guy, though.

Jude (Virginia)

STOP!!!! Please. Who cares about that game last night? I am really getting tired of all the talk about should Belechick gone for it or not. ESPN has spent way too much time on this. WHO CARES????? Watching this play 10 times and the entire ESPN staff giving their opinions. WHO CARES???? Talk about the rest of the games played yesterday. Play-off implications. Something else besides this game.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:17 PM)

Considering that about half the questions I'm getting are about the Belichick issue, the answer is "A lot of people."

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

Do you think teams that have O-Line woes this year are in trouble already going into next year? The Free Agent O-Line crop is weak at best and not all rookie O-lineman have the talent of Orlando Pace/Michale Oher.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:18 PM)

Linking Pace and Oher as far as rookie talents go is pretty comical. It's sort of like saying not all steakhouses have the taste of Morton's/Red Lobster. Teams that have OL woes are always in trouble. It should be the first thing they focus on improving.

yourflorian Florian (Minneapolis)

why Everybody talks about the 4and 2 play , he blew it with 3rd and 2 and an incomplete pass, RUN the Ball Run the clock to the 2min Warning and then take Maybe 4thDown and you got a review if needed and you have still a timeout

Bill Barnwell
  (8:19 PM)

Agree that they should've run the ball on third-and-2, but Belichick didn't decide to go for the pass until the third-and-2 conversion failed.

Rob McDowell (Gloucester,NJ)

With a no salary cap for next season how big will the teams be spending to bolster their Roster......

Bill Barnwell
  (8:21 PM)

Hard to say. Some teams will go all out and spend $30-$40 million more on their roster in one year deals. Others might cut their salaries back to $40 million. Really up to the owners, I guess.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:21 PM)

Hard to say. Some teams will go all out and spend $30-$40 million more on their roster in one year deals. Others might cut their salaries back to $40 million. Really up to the owners, I guess.

Alex (Massachusetts)

Will Calvin Johnson get traded?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:22 PM)

No. Where's my answer to that question about the Titans making the playoffs? Apply that to this question. Why would the Lions trade Johnson? It's not like he's Tony Gonzalez or something -- he's 24.

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

Which team played themselves out of the wild card race this week? Looking at the schedules, the J-E-T-S have a long road to go, starting with the Patriots this week, and then ending with the Falcons, Colts, and Bengals.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:23 PM)

Even with Kris Jenkins, the Jets probably weren't a playoff team, despite their hot start. Without Jenkins, though, they have no hope of making the playoffs. 7-9.

Daniel (Seattle)

Remember when Quinn was the star ND QB.Remember all the hype!

Bill Barnwell
  (8:23 PM)

Yup. Hype can be pretty fickle.

Brian D (Atlanta)

I really don't think that Bellicheck doesn;t have faith in his defense. He just has MORE faith in Tom Brady and the offense, especially after Peyton went straight down the field twice in a row for more than 70 yards in both drives that quarter in less than 2:10 each drive.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:25 PM)

You're ignoring the fact that Manning also threw a wobbly pick that started and ended a drive on one play, though. There's a possibility Manning could've done that after a punt, too.

Roller (Kentucky)

Quinn was a another good college player that just isn't cutting it in the NFL, so what's the problem with the coaches not being able to see it?!

Bill Barnwell
  (8:27 PM)

Think he's in a situation where it's very hard to succeed, probably hasn't been coached very well, and has had his confidence totally taken away from him as a result. That goes a long way. With that being said, scouting quarterbacks for the pro level is a pretty flawed process. We've done a lot of research into determining what factors predict quarterback success at the pro level, and ended up gathering that completion percentage and games started in college were the only two reliable indicators of pro success. Not an ability to throw the ball through the uprights off your knees from some far-off distance.

Bradley (dallas tx)

are the Cowboys a legit playoff team? or will they be overtaken in December again? to me the team chemistry feels a little different than the recent couple years...

Bill Barnwell
  (8:28 PM)

Like with the Packers game, I think a lot of it has to do with luck. If the Cowboys recover that fumble against the Ravens last year that lept into Derrick Mason's hands, or make one stop before the end of the first half against the Giants in the playoffs, things are totally different. Don't think it has much to do with "team chemistry", which is dictated by results, not the other way around.

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

What are the chances the Browns try something new tonight on offense (like running the no-huddle)?

Bill Barnwell
  (8:28 PM)

Maybe they should just never get out of the huddle altogether.

Bill Barnwell
  (8:29 PM)

Alright, time for me to hand you all off to Buzz -- enjoy the game, everyone!

Buzzmaster
  (8:30 PM)

Thanks Bill! Why hello everyone -- ready to chat about this MNF battle?

Todd (Louisville)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the one, the only....BUZZMASTER!!!!!!

Lane (Kukuihaele, HI)

Quinn will never be the QB JaMarcus Russell is.

Bradley (dallas tx)

Battle? haha. Ray Rice just needs to give me a fantasy boost!

Buzzmaster
  (8:32 PM)

I'll just throw this out there-- any brave souls taking the Browns?

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Buzzmaster! What's up? You ready to jinx the Ravens tonight or what?

Buzzmaster
  (8:33 PM)

ALWAYS gus, always

Tom (NM)

Old Browns beat new Browns

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I'm counting on Flacco to boost my standings

Quentin (Green Bay)

Hello, Buzz.

Buzzmaster
  (8:34 PM)

Hello, Quentin.

Tom (NM)

Is Todd (Louisville) on shoe watch tonight?

Quentin (Green Bay)

I'll take the Browns for the heck of it.

Peter (Baltimore MD)

what is everyone saying on the game tonight, also, is it just me or does flacco seem a little flat lately. secondary too. Im a die hard ravens fan and this is depressing me seeing everyone go deep on us.

Todd (Louisville)

i'm ready, tom. game face is on

ryan (Virginia Beach. Va)

Buzzmaster, Will the Ravens make the playoffs?

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

Quentin (GB): You gotta be more commital than that.

Buzzmaster
  (8:36 PM)

I hope so. Just so I can hear the phrase "wacco for flacco" more.

browns (browns)

go browns

Barry (Philly PA)

The difference between JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn is that Russell was paid a lot more money and given 20 more games to be considered a failure. Even Peyton Manning sucked his first 10 games. Give the kid a chance.

Ethan (Vt)

The ravens need this easy win badly

Bradley (dallas tx)

ill say this...The Browns only advantage in this game is the special teams...maybe

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Shane, that's about as good as you're going to get with a 1-7 team! Way to stick your neck out Quentin!

Tom (NM)

Buzz, you called it right with the Bengals beating the Steelers yesterday....props to you.

Buzzmaster
  (8:39 PM)

True story. With my new-found success should I just roll the dice and jump on the Browns/Quentin bandwagon?

Buzzmaster
  (8:39 PM)

True story. With my recent successm should I just totally roll the dice and jump on the Browns/Quentin bandwagon?

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I didn't know you picked the Jungle Catz, Buzz! Good call , Man!!

kevin (nj)

Thank you Barry, you are very correct. Quinn needs time but not with a team like the Browns...

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

As a Browns fan even I think that's going too far, Buzz.

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Yea , Buzz, why not????

Quentin (Green Bay)

Yes. I'm lonely.

Bradley (dallas tx)

the wheels will fall off that wagon after the first 15 minutes Buzz

Barry (Philly PA)

I'll take Jamal Lewis over Ray Rice. Quinn takes over tonight and proves he's the guy for this franchise. Then go get him an O line so he doesn't break Carr's sack record!!!

Todd (Louisville)

can i get a "who?" how about a "dey"

Jim Samsky (cheverly ,md)

I haven't heard any you guys mention that if the pats were up 3 it would be a better decisson to go for the 4th and 2! My logic is the colts would only have three downs to make a first down and would be forced to kick a field goal & put the game in O T. But up 6 automaticaly forces the team to go for the TD and use all four downs to do it.

mikej (benicia, ca) [via mobile]

I don't watch a lot of CFB. So, can you tell me what made Quinn a 1st rd pick? What did the scouts like about him?

Roller (Kentucky)

What up Buzz? go ahead you can have the Browns, no one will fight you for them!

Tom (NM)

Who dey

Buzzmaster
  (8:43 PM)

Here's the deal, I'll pick the Browns, if everyone calls me "pickmaster" once they win. deal?

Todd (Louisville)

much appreciated!

Paul(ny,ny) [via mobile]

What r browns doing on MNF?

kevin (nj)

Jim- please, i heard enough about the 4th and 2 call. Give it a rest, it was a stupid move, i hope coach learned his leason.

gabriel newportnews virginia [via mobile]

Do you think the browns will win the game tonight

Bradley (dallas tx)

deal

Jeff (New Orleans)

Who dey...Who cares, go Pats

Buzzmaster
  (8:45 PM)

Yikes! *holds Todd (Louisville) back*

caj (miami)

browns win by 21

Buzzmaster
  (8:46 PM)

caj even I know that's a stretch

Todd (Louisville)

grrrrrrrrrrr

caj (miami)

browns win by 21

Buzzmaster
  (8:47 PM)

caj sticking with his/her pick. BOLD

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Browns win by 2 is a stretch let alone by 20+.

Quentin (Green Bay)

Let's not get on the topic of the 4th and 2 call. The Hoodie's getting hammered for making one questionable call. The man built a dynasty with the Patriots, and now everyone's mad about one call. Give it a rest.

Bengalbob (OHIO)

WHO DEY, WHO DEY , WHO DEY,. GO JUNGLE CATZ!!! PLAYOFFS IN SIGHT!

Roller (Kentucky)

Who dropped the ball on this monday night matchup?!

Buzzmaster
  (8:48 PM)

Braylon Edwards? Wait--scratch that

Zhou (Los Angeles)

Quinn is going to go insane.

Roller (Kentucky)

do you mean lose by 21?

Todd (Louisville)

the Browns have that MNF mojo working early. this one could get interesting. assuming brady "pretty boy" quinn shows up, of course

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Haven't you heard, Bill Belechick is to blame for all the bad things that have happened since last nightl.............LOL

Tom (NM)

Roy Williams is good at dropping the ball

Jeff (New Orleans)

bengals have one good season, get real bungal fans it wont last

erik. cleveland oh. [via mobile]

The only real team left in the nfl. the brows baby!!!!

Buzzmaster
  (8:50 PM)

Challenge time! Thoughts?

Isaac (Chicago) [via mobile]

Got the Ravens D and Derrick Mason starting for my fantasy football! SHUT EM DOWN

Nick (Pittsburgh)

Does Jamal have anything left in the tank??

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Bradley - As a Browns fan, this usually lasts about 2-3 quarters. Then after being on the field all game they collapse.

Roller (Kentucky)

He was down

kevin (nj)

Its not Quinns fault the Browns suck, he's a young QB and he needs sometime to develope. maybe im wrong but i think he could be good one day.

swatman (michigan)

ravens win

Bradley (dallas tx)

he was down. and another thought....i think the nfl has way too many plays reviewed

Buzzmaster
  (8:52 PM)

kevin any hope for Derek Anderson 2007 to reemerge?

Joe (Philly)

Hey buzz do you think the Bengal's if they do sign Johnson is a smart more?

Buzzmaster
  (8:54 PM)

After what he did to me when I drafted him with my first pick in the 2007 draft --- no.

Jeff (New Orleans)

Bengals are terrrrrrrrible. Be real

kevin (nj)

no.

swatman (michigan)

hey anything could with derek

Isaac (Chicago) [via mobile]

Roy Williams will be the Cowboys new T.O. Miles Austin is the #1 reciever in Big D

Barry (Philly PA)

The Bengals should issue a press release: "We don't do background checks."

Roller (Kentucky)

When your team sucks who's shoulders does that fall on? but in this case Quinn stinks too

Nick (Pittsburgh)

If Jamal is gonna retire after this season, why not let Harrison get some carries, what do they have to lose??

Tom (NM)

over/under on punts tonight?

Buzzmaster
  (8:56 PM)

Is infinity too low of a number?

kevin (nj)

Sure Jeff real bad... Bengals will make it to the superbowl.

Roller (Kentucky)

Didn't Braylon Edwards drop Derrick Anderson out of the starting job last year?

Buzzmaster
  (8:56 PM)

touche

Todd (Louisville)

47

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

I think the officials have been taught to depend on the replay more then they used to.

Roller (Kentucky)

17 punts each

Primo (Salt Lake City)

11

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Tom - I think a better question is, Browns punts against Browns points, which do you take? What if punts are laying 3?

Joe (Philly)

It's not Quinn's fault the Browns stink you can blame management and coaching for that. He is just an average QB on a poor team.

Todd (Louisville)

infinity works if you were just counting the browns punts

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

I think all you folks talking about your team going to the SB need to remember one truth about the NFL: Any team in the 12-team playoff field can get hot and make the SB...Cards, Giants ring a bell anyone?

drew b - chesterland oh [via mobile]

Wouldn't it be better if the Browns picked up a running back (vs. a quarterback) in the draft? Jamal Lewis peaked 2 years ago and the Browns have done nothing to work on a good replacement.

Todd (Louisville)

i'm predicting a game with less flow than a dried up mudhole. you'll be getting some overtime in tonight, buzz

Buzzmaster
  (8:59 PM)

Can I get some early predictions for the final score on this game?

Andrew (Ohio)

Browns Punts: 10 Points: 6

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

The Browns need a playmaker on offense with their first pick. It doesn't matter what position, they just need someone that can scare a defense.

Matt (Bowling Green, OH)

Ravens Sacks 6, Browns 3

Bengalbob (OHIO)

3 to 2 in OT

Joe (Philly)

Ok what are the chances this game goes into halftime 0-0?

swatman (michigan)

hey i think brady could pull it of tonite

Roller (Kentucky)

The Browns have enough draft picks next year to draft a whole team

Buzzmaster
  (9:01 PM)

True, this is one draft they can't braylon edwards/TO/darrius heyward-bey

Roller (Kentucky)

Hey Joe, I say 100%

Joe (Philly)

I say the final score is 6-3 Ravens

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

No chance, Joe. One of these defenses or special teams units are bound to score.

swatman (michigan)

17 -10 ravens

Todd (Louisville)

Ravens 17 Browns 6 take it to the bank

Tom (NM)

I want to go with the guy from Denver who predicted 4 points last week. 4-0.

berta (CA)

Even if Brady doesnt play well...he is nice eye candy! ;-)

cysco (n.y.)

final score ravens 17 browns 6

kevin (nj)

24 (Ravens) to 6 (Browns)

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Oh yeah, forgot. Browns get field goal, Ravens get safety. Browns win????

william yelley (dayton ohio)

this game will be a blow out like 41-3

scott (g town north carolina)

ravens 17 brady nothing

Buzzmaster
  (9:03 PM)

I wish teams could get negative points like in fantasy.

Joe (Philly)

The way both teams look right now I say Ravens 6 Browns 3 and the crowed is a sleep by the 3rd quater

Todd (Louisville)

ravens already out of timeouts.....hilarious

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Is Andy Reid coaching the Ravens tonight? Two timeouts in less than 7 minutes.

swatman (michigan)

rain could make fun

Andrew (Ohio)

hahaha that would be awesome in that case Ravens 17 Browns -10

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

Harbaugh must have caught the same bug that has infected Bellichek: Bad-decision-itis!

Buzzmaster
  (9:06 PM)

THE RICE IS RIGHT!!

Sean (Kansas)

thank you ray rice, you save the day again

Roller (Kentucky)

Rice could have a career night

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I see everyone is brushing up on their comedy skits tonight!!

Todd (Louisville)

every team needs a ray rice. the guy is a beast

Kevin (NJ)

rice is great now, but will he last?

Jake (Solon)

Thank god we have the Cavs...

swatman (michigan)

rice runing over people

Andrew (Ohio)

the price is wright! haha sorry couldn't resist

Buzzmaster
  (9:09 PM)

the rice is right?

Matt (Bowling Green, OH)

My fantasy team needs Todd Heap to catch like 10 TD passes tonight. Anone think it'll happen?

Buzzmaster
  (9:09 PM)

Matt -- I'm saying he gets 11!

Buzzmaster
  (9:10 PM)

Yikes!!

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

... or just completely miss the upright altogether.

Jeff (Cleveland)

nope.

Roller (Kentucky)

Oh, I spoke too soon!!

swatman (michigan)

miss

Kevin (NJ)

Matt im sorry but the Browns are not that bad... i hope.

Rico (GA)

the browns need a whole new offense and defense. With the way they play on the field, i should be playing. My high school team could beat them.

Tom (NM)

Who would have thunk that he would miss that...Jason Elam?

Chuck (Zanesville,OH)

browns D kind of suprising so far

Smurf (dayton ohio)

or mayby even 12

Sean (Kansas)

where is matt stover when you need him? Oh thats right, kicking for the 9-0 colts

Roller (Kentucky)

Just wanna let you guys know the UK basketball team just won! WHOOOOOO!

Joe (Philly)

I think there is a better chance of seeing a UFO at tonight's game then seeing the Browns winning this game

Buzzmaster
  (9:12 PM)

Joe -- these mighty Browns did beat the Steelers

Trey (Georgia)

whos the all time greatest fantasy player ever?

Buzzmaster
  (9:12 PM)

me?

Smurf (dayton ohio)

hope ravens win

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Joe, I've heard Cleveland is known for UFO sightings.

Buzzmaster
  (9:13 PM)

BOOM ROASTED

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

Quinn is going to go 40-50 for 440 and 4 TD's....I hope.

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

The Browns already have two sacks on defense and have given up zero points. Give the defense some credit. They might not be great, but give me a break.

Buzzmaster
  (9:13 PM)

Tough chat crowd here tonight, Gus.

Roller (Kentucky)

Wake up, Jeff youre asleep!

Sean (Kansas)

more like the ravens offense has been inept

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

After Derek Anderson, Browns fans I think would take 4 for 50 for 44 and 1 TD.

dan (oh)

27-17 browns

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

This chat went from Ray Rice is a beast to "The ravens offense has been inept." How silly.

danny (maryland)

yeah but its the browns cmon mannnnnnnnnnnn!

Kevin (NJ)

not for long, Gusbtw- told u guys Quinn is good.

john holland (florida)

lol if the browns win ill go to spain

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I hear Barcelona is nice this time of year LOL

Nathan (OK)

Quinn is going to lead the browns down the same path he did at Notre Dame

Kevin (NJ)

If the ravens lose, their year is over.

mustafa ((Dayton, OH))

is anybody getting my camments

Buzzmaster
  (9:17 PM)

yup, we're getting you camments

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Ravens are already Cat food meaowww

Sean (Kansas)

after this game the ravens have smooth sailing, indy, pitts and Green bay :-)

Roller (Kentucky)

I love the no-huddle offense, puts so much pressure on the D.

Tom (NM)

John, I was stationed in Spain. Try the Sangria

Roller (Kentucky)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

David (CA)

I feel sorry for Browns Fans.

Roller (Kentucky)

Nice job holding on to the ball

mustafa ((Dayton, OH))

i think Quinn will do fine

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Quinn takes too many sacks. This is one of the reasons he was benched. Not a great start.

Shane (Los Angeles, CA)

No clue how Price got that sack. Only against the Browns...or the Rams...or the Chiefs...or the Raiders...

Buzzmaster
  (9:20 PM)

Don't forget those Bucs!

Nathan (OK)

I always thought that brown paper sacks on your head was a weird mascot..

Kevin (NJ)

Buzz do u still like the Browns?

Buzzmaster
  (9:21 PM)

Listen -- for the love of Gus -- the score is still 0-0 -- plenty of time!

Andrew (Ohio)

uh the Lions... how soon do we forget?

Todd (Louisville)

or packers

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

Bucs have improved!

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Yeah, Buzz! Keep the faith. The line has us up 9!

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

Buzz, who do the Browns take 1st pick? Is Sam Bradford safe, or do you think they go somewhere else?

Sean (Kansas)

browns take dez bryant

swatman (michigan)

lions and brown superbowl

Kevin (NJ)

packers are done. Vikes have a 3 game lead + a tiebreaker.

Matt (Bowling Green, OH)

Man, I can't wait for next week's Browns/Lions game. Can the NFL do fans a favor and call for a TV blackout, even if the game sells out? Have mercy on us and let us see a real game!

Chuck (Zanesville,OH)

Starting to smell upset!

Roller (Kentucky)

The Browns should stay away from qb's in the draft.

Tom (NM)

The Browns better take Suh from Nebraska instead of a hurt Bradford

Todd (Louisville)

browns drafting bradford would be hilarious but ineffective. 2 overrated franchise QB's is at least one too many for any team

Buzzmaster
  (9:24 PM)

I agree -- Browns draft another QB and they are instantly the Timberwolves of the NFL

Buzzmaster
  (9:25 PM)

...or just the Raiders

Joe (Philly)

Will this game go into OT 0-0?

Sean (Kansas)

this ravens defense does not strike fear like it used to.

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

How was DA a franchise QB? He was picked up on waivers.

Zhou (Los Angeles)

Wouldn't it have been awesome if Saint Louis upset New Orleans?

Andrew (Ohio)

lol 0-0 OT would be hilarious, shortest highlight ever

Buzzmaster
  (9:26 PM)

wouldn't that technically qualify as a "lowlight"

swatman (michigan)

nice play

Butch M (Hastings, MN)

I need the Ravens D or special teams to take one all the way back for a fantasy win. You think it will happen?

Sean (Kansas)

i think the biggest weakness of this defense this year has been the secondary, especially the corners and landry

Todd (Louisville)

rest assured, butch.

MJ (Cleveland)

The lower the score the better for the Browns

Roller (Kentucky)

Love the stiff arm, players should use it more

swatman (michigan)

0-0 tie

Buzzmaster
  (9:28 PM)

LOL the fan that was just shown is how i imagine every Browns fan.

Nathan (OK)

Flacco > Quinn. Ravens win.

fred (omaha)

hi buzz what are you doing, this game stinks

Buzzmaster
  (9:29 PM)

fred, I don't know what you're talking about. This is a defensive battle.

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

I pray that MM and Quinn develop a connection. We need that.

lane (north carolina)

i agree

Buzzmaster
  (9:30 PM)

LANE AGREES!

Todd (Louisville)

this game = riveting

Buzzmaster
  (9:30 PM)

Game of the year?

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Are you kidding, this is the most exciting Browns game in two years!

Roller (Kentucky)

This game is gonna be a TIE!!

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

by far.

Todd (Louisville)

hands down

Lane (Texas)

The browns forgot to bring their fun to the party

swatman (michigan)

one sign in the crowed said rebuilding sence 1964

Bengalbob (OHIO)

THAT'S RIGHT BUZZ A MIGHTY DEFENSIVE TUSSLE!! lol

Spencer (Chicago)

this defensive battle is offensive to my need for constant point scoring

Chuck (Zanesville,OH)

Browns not losing = RIVETING!

Roller (Kentucky)

Sloooooow Mooooooo

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Yeah, the Browns aren't out of it and it's been a full quarter.

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

This is a good follow up to the sunday night game.

Andrew (Ohio)

you want a defensive battle, see Bengals/Steelers, boy thats the kind of football to love

Nathan (OK)

when does it become a defensive battle and not an offense slop bowl?

mark(FL) [via mobile]

browns beat the steelers? what are you thinkin?

Mason (Illinois)

Scoreless whole game and Raven kicker will miss wih 10 sec left

Buzzmaster
  (9:34 PM)

We've seen a lot of missed MNF field goals. I mean, sure, I used a wind machine last week, but still.

Roller (Kentucky)

I say no points before half, longshot?

Lane (oklahoma)

And with the first pick in the 2010 NFL draft the Cleveland Browns select QB Tim Tebow.

Andy (Jacksonville, Md.)

The Browns are a joke. Hahaha

CAL (St. Paul, MN)

It has been a rough go for kickers and field goals on MNF.

lane (north carolina)

ya right lane

Buzzmaster
  (9:36 PM)

2 LANES! What are the chances!

Sean (Kansas)

lane, tebow will not be in the top 10

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Not if they have a lick of sense they won't touch TT

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

Tebow would want to win!

Roller (Kentucky)

Thats funny, Browns vs Browns in throwback uni's!

lane (north carolina)

the name lane is cool

lane (TX)

we're talking about the browns.. of course they would draft TT

Buzzmaster
  (9:37 PM)

Three lanes! should i change my name to lanemaster?

Sean (Kansas)

i knew a cow named lane

Caleb (Cincinnati)

Being a Bengals fan I hope the Browns pick Tebow, its the only way they could get any worse.

lane (paris)

It's like a street lane.

Nathan (New York)

In Europe, lanes go opposite ways.

Lane (NM)

Where is this chat going?

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Any more lanes and we'll have a bowling alley LOL

Lane (Ohio)

I think they are just changing their name is Lane to get on here

Buzzmaster
  (9:39 PM)

Lane (Ohio) < all the other lanes

Chuck (Zanesville,OH)

Quinn can block like Farve!

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

Quinn with that solid block.

Tom (NM)

It's lame to use Lane to get on the chat

Brady ((Cleveland))

What's up guys? Just checking in with you dudes...Who should I try to pass it to next? These guys are terrible. (don't tell them I told you)Ok i gotta get back in the game guys. Cya!

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I don't want to raise your hopes Browns fans, but Brady is looking like he knows what he's doing back there. Butterflies gone??

Andrew (Ohio)

Tom (NM) there was a Lane (NM) a few seconds ago, I think we caught you red handed!

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Brady, the irony is too thick for me to answer that.

Jake (Houston)

Go Browns!

Nathan (OK)

Derek Anderson looks better tonight

swatman (michigan)

down gos brady

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Thanks for the jinx, Bengalbob!

Quentin (Green Bay)

Punt-o-Meter: 7

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I think it might have been Derek pretending to be Brady!!! LOL

mark (chicago)

im doin my homework whos winning and whats going on???

Buzzmaster
  (9:45 PM)

mark, i don't even know where to start.

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Sorry Gus

Momentum (lost)

Anyone know how to get to Cleveland?

Buzzmaster
  (9:45 PM)

HURRY

Spencer (Chicago)

another punt...

Spencer (Chicago)

both teams are losing mark

Andrew (Ohio)

Ah the Punt-o-meter and the Bored-o-meter are connected, the more the punt-o-meter goes up the more the bored-o-meter does as well... interesting, i'm publishing it next month in science magazine

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Mark, are you aware of who's playing in the game tonite???

Buzzmaster
  (9:46 PM)

defensive battle. i'm telling you.

Quentin (Green Bay)

The punt-o-meter is mine!

M (RI)

It seems that the Ravens will not need the three timeouts afterall.

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

take I-90 east into Cleveland. Thats at least what you do in AL.

Andy (Texas, Md.)

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Bengalbob (OHIO)

This game might set football back a couple hundred years.

Chuck (Zanesville,OH)

I predict Ravens Turnover here!

Brandon (Baton Rouge)

I predict you're wrong, Chuck

Joe (MN)

6 more plays until a Ravens TD

Joe (MN)

Here we go!

Todd (Louisville)

as a bengals fan, i wanted to watch both teams lose tonight. so far, so good

Andy (Texas, Md.)

Flaco Rocks

Kimo (Texas)

Bengalbob (OHIO)

OK so I was wrong, Bill told me it would happen!!

Sean (Kansas)

Buzzmaster
  (9:50 PM)

I miss Brandon Marshall's shoes.

jason (detroit )

boldin maybe marshall no

Joe (Philly)

Hey I called it a halftime score of 0-0

Roller (Kentucky)

That call sucks!

Andrew (Ohio)

worse call ever.... Brady rule is duuuumb

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

We need Boldin/Marshall...realllly bad.

Quentin (Green Bay)

This game bores me. Dance Buzz!

Buzzmaster
  (9:52 PM)

*starts to dance/sing/make the chat balloon animals*

Roller (Kentucky)

3-0 at half

Buzzmaster
  (9:52 PM)

Roller seriously? Let's not go too crazy there.

Jeremy (Toledo, Ohio)

Lane is not a name, it's something on a highway

CAL (St. Paul, MN)

Make me a bicycle clown!

Nathan (Houston)

David (Washington)

Buzzmaster

Buzzmaster
  (9:55 PM)

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

Brett Farve (St. Paul Minnesota)

I predict the final score is a tie!!

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

You spelled your last name wrong, Brett.

Justin (Youngstown, OH)

Buzzmaster
  (9:57 PM)

Quentin, you bite your tongue!

Roller (Kentucky)

what in the world is going on here?????

Quentin (Green Bay)

Punt-o-Meter: 8

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

This is about to be the first game of the season that goes into halftime 0-0

Nathan (OK)

Quentin is just mad cause he isn't on his team

Roller (Kentucky)

Buzz- I think Alabama could beat either of these teams

Browns fan hoping for a loss (Ohio)

come on ... safety for the ravens

nathan (Houston)

either the defense is really good or the offense is bad?

Andrew (Ohio)

Bored-o-meter: 8

Buzzmaster
  (10:00 PM)

*sweating -- hands out markers, does a flip, says a lane joke, morphs into Brett Favre*

Bengalbob (OHIO)

Both Nathan

Chris (South Carolina)

Quinn is way overrated!!!

Ezra (Maryland)

if I'm a browns fan I might hope quinn and co. go winless for the rest of the season so that there is a major overhaul

Roller (Kentucky)

can the defense and offense both be bad?

Todd (Louisville)

yep, we really needed a booth review to end the half. sweat

Jeff (Avon Lake, Ohio)

take...that...back.

Spencer (Chicago)

good, a review, this game was getting too fast paced for me

LK (Florida)

I would agree

Jason (Detroit )

i think there will be a major overhaul anyway

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

They're reviewing the whole game right now to make sure the scoreboard is correct.

Tom (NM)

Cash for Clunkers???

Matt (Bowling Green, OH)

Lewis goes 90 yards here. Bank it.

Buzzmaster
  (10:03 PM)

Andrew (Ohio)

Quentin (Green Bay)

The trophies are made of chocolate and covered in shiny tinfoil.

Bengalbob (OHIO)

I've trooped it this far, I refuse to give up!!!

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

I'm holding out for a bigger trophy, Buzz. Brady Quinn told me it would be a good idea.

Jesse (Shaker Heights)

Amen, Terrell

Chris (South Carolina)

Jesse (Shaker Heights)

my fantasy team is a Cleveland win

David (Washington)

POPTARTS ARE QUITE GOOD

Quentin (Green Bay)

Let's shoot for a 0-0 tie!

Donovan McNabb (Philly)

If it ends 0-0 in regulation, both teams get the ball at the 25,

Andrew (Ohio)

Chris?!! Is that Donovan? OT ends when it hits 00:00

Tom (NM)

Buzz, I've been here all season listening to your every word

Buzzmaster
  (10:10 PM)

If there's ever a bacon mascot, you know who made the call, Tom.

Andrew (Ohio)

I think a 2-2 tie would be more hilarious than a 0-0 tie

Quentin (Green Bay)

Just had a couple Cherry Poptarts just for you, Buzz. Yes, I am fat.

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Buzz, this is my second game and last week I went to bed early. Haha. Just being honest!

Buzzmaster
  (10:11 PM)

Gus that is a chat foul! You missed Paul's epic fantasy win.

Derek anderson (locker room)

if i was playing baltimore would have 14 points of turnovers

Todd (Louisville)

indeed. paul's come from behind victory changed the way i look at the world

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Buzz, that just means we need an even more epic fantasy win in the coming weeks.

David (Washington)

Buzzmaster
  (10:21 PM)

Buzzmaster
  (10:25 PM)

Buzzmaster
  (10:30 PM)

I'm still holding out hope for the Browns to score 4 pts.

charles (kcmo)

quite possibly the best game we'll see all season.

Buzzmaster
  (10:31 PM)

charles, we should just replace the Super Bowl with a replay of this game.

Greg (Atlanta)

1st half... no 3-n-outs, then this... cmon browns, bring it together!

Kantyman (Winnipeg)

Lots of time left

Coach Mangini ((Cleveland Browns Stadium))

Yay!!! I love the Ravens....oh wait....

Bengalbob (Ohio)

I need a Flacco TD for my fantasy......oh...not here???

Plato Junior (Pennsylvania)

That missed point will cost the Ravens the game ... aw maybe not

CAL (St. Paul, MN)

How about a fumble return TD now.

Not Lane (Ohio)

I told you i'd come back with some offense

Bengalbob (Ohio)

I don't think my heart can take it

charles (kcmo)

I agree buzz or we could replace the superbowl with a replay of the chiefs vs raiders game

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Quinn's stats so far: 6-15, 63 yds, 0 TD 1 INT, 25.1 rating. And yet he's doing about as well as Derek Anderson. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2009 Cleveland Browns.

DAVID (NY)

*HEART ATTACK* --------------------------

Buzzmaster
  (10:34 PM)

someone revive david! Quick! Show him some brett favre highlights STAT

Bengalbob (Ohio)

My god, 25.1! I didn't realize he was that good.....

Buzzmaster
  (10:38 PM)

Tom (NM)

Annie, you've not seen nothing like the mighty Quinn

Jamarcus (Oakland)

We would have had a better game than this.

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Quinn still has a double digit passer rating (13.0), so yes, Kevin, it can.

Bengalbob (Ohio)

Goood Buzz Goood Buzz

Kevin (Baltimore MD)

Buzzmaster, i think he is staying no matter what

Ed (Cleveland)

Kevin (Baltimore MD)

If only we could clone Lebron...

Nathan (OK)

Question - will Cleveland even score 16 points for the remainder of the season?

sleepytiger (massillon)

Leave the Cavs and LeBron out of this. BTW-He (lebron) could start at reciever for any team in the NFL. He's truly Incredible.

Lane (NYC)

matt stafford (Detroit )

i am starting myself in fantasy next week 300 yards 3 tds

Bengalbob (Ohio)

Jamal had a flashback, thought he was playing for Baltimore, went to the wrong bench. He's sitting on the Raven's bench in a daze!

Andrew (Ohio)

Bengalbob (Ohio)

Keep the defibralator handy David

Brett Favre (Metrodome)

Buzzmaster
  (10:50 PM)

Not Lane (Ohio)

Maybe it would be best if David didn't have to see this game

hopefully he kept the wranglers and dirty ballcap closeby

Jeremy (Toledo, Ohio)

Josh McDaniels (Denver)

I could make Brady Quinn a star....

Brady Quinn (cleveland)

Quentin (Green Bay)

Punt-o-Meter: 10

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

We crossed the 50 twice on that drive. How's that, haters?!

Bengalbob (Ohio)

with that dollar bill????

Andrew (Ohio)

Do the browns know how to line up for a FG?

Jamarcus (Oakland)

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about me?

Nathan (OK)

The browns have 50 passing yards.. whats the complaining

kicker (cleveland)

no

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Maybe bring in Derek Anderson after you cross the 50. Sort of a QB-by-committee approach.

David (NY)

STOP THE MADNESS

Brett Favre (Metrodome)

Because Jamarcus, everyone is too busy talking about me to mention any other QB.

Tommy (Michigan)

Should run the Wildcat with Derek Anderson

Tim Tebow (Florida)

even i couldnt save this team

Nathan (OK)

Brett Favre MVP

Greg (Atlanta)

Give each QB 'their' end of the field to specialize in?

kicker (cleveland)

Bengalbob (Ohio)

Colts will lose first. Take it to the bank

David (NY)

BUZZ, BEEN QUITE WHATS WRONG TOO MUCH ACTION?

Buzzmaster
  (10:59 PM)

The explosivness of the Browns offense is exhausting

Nathan (OK)

I can't believe how many people jumped from the Bronco wagon over to the Saints..

Buzzmaster
  (11:00 PM)

*quietly walking off the Browns empty bandwagon*

Tom (NM)

I've never seen a train wreck....until tonight

John (Ma)

I support the explosion of the Browns offense

Joe (Akron)

couldnt handle them crossing the 50 twice in 5 seconds huh?

Gus (Cincinnati, OH)

Good! That just means I get to stretch my legs. This bandwagon is getting pretty comfortable if you ask me!

Dave (Baltimore, MD)

Brady Quinn 18.1 rating. Ray Rice 39.6 rating. Good stuff.

Greg (Atlanta)

I can't believe anyone has time to type anything out considering the riveting game going on right now.

Joe (Akron)

brown (cleveland)

I can't believe I'm a mascot.

Quentin (Green Bay)

I'm still on the bandwagon, Buzz!

CAL (St. Paul, MN)

The Browns fans truly are the best fans around. You only heard a few boos after that last drive. I'm surprised they aren't rioting right about now.

Joe (Philly)

Buzz in picking the Browns to win you Jinxed them

Bengalbob (Ohio)

I forget who it was Sunday, but he caught his own pass and then tried to throw it again to one of his receivers.....Flag

Roller (Kentucky)

Came in running on fumes

Tommy (Michigan)

Maybe the Browns should ask for their old team back.

Justin (Ohio)

So Buzz, just got home from the bar watching my Browns. Everyone I assume is enjoying the show in Cleveland.

Todd (Louisville)

buzz cannot be blamed for the futility that is cleveland

nlv [via mobile]

what needs to happen...get quinn to a team that he can perform...cleveland not it....they dont let him throw downfield....

Roller (Kentucky)

That has to be the most comfortable bandwagon, only one person riding, plenty of room to stretch out

Buzzmaster
  (11:05 PM)

Is the Browns bandwagon the emptiest in the NFL?

Tom (Minneapolis)

The Browns should be relegated to the CFL. This is horrible.

Quentin (Green Bay)

Yes, I'm the only one left.

Buzzmaster
  (11:06 PM)

Quentin, is it even a bandwagon still? Or did the Browns downsize to a bike?

Zach: California [via mobile]

Browns need better players this is pathetic.

Joe (Philly)

Let's not forget about Detroit's bandwagon that has to be comfortable. Wait do they have one?

Justin (Ohio)

Darrell (Baltimore)

Yes Sir Baltimores got this game

Buzzmaster
  (11:19 PM)

Should the Ravens even get a 'W' for this game? Is there anything else we can give them instead?

David (NY)
