Chat with Paul Kuharsky

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:01 PM)

Good afternoon people and pets. Good to be with you.

Ryan (Murfreesboro)

Ok Paul, quick question about CJ. Bud Adam's has basically put Jeff Fisher on notice and said it's time to make a deep run in the playoffs. We all know that CJ has to be a huge piece of that puzzle if that's going to happen this year. I don't see it, but it won't happen without him. If the Titans have another subpar year and CJ holds out for the season, whose at fault? Who's philosophy is it to avoid contract negotiations with 2cd and 3rd year players? Is Bud tying Jeff's hands together, or is Jeff tying his own?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:01 PM)

I totally missed Bud putting Jeff on notice. When did that happen? I remember it in the summer of 1999.

Matt (Houston)

I've sat back this past offseason and hoped against hope the texans would add that "one piece" to put them over the hump. one of the best passing offenses in the nfl? check. decent run stopping ability? check. and they add ben tate in the draft....although i screamed bloody murder when they lost out on earl thomas...my question is something that you've already acknowledged...when thomas jones, leigh bodden, alan faneca, heck even darren sharper all sprang loose from their previous teams and would all conceivably fit in the texans system... what happened???

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:03 PM)

They tried with Bodden. They are allowed to fear age and price. But I sure wish they had addressed free safety.

Drew (Louisville, KY)

Does Chris Johnson's performance, or out-performance, of his rookie contract entitle him to a restructured deal, or do you feel that a contract is a contract is a contract? What are the chances that we will see him play in Nashville this season? Thanks

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:03 PM)

He'll play. He's got no alternative. I think asking for a new contract after playing less than half of a deal you signed is a little too hopeful on his part.

Esai (NYC)

I know CJ has to be priority number one, but what about Keith Bulluck? Please tell me the Titans are going to handle this situation with some modicum of grace. He's been the leader of that defense for a decade...

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:04 PM)

They've been politically correct. But if by grace you mean bring a guy back they think is done, then no.

Darrel Mac (Queens, NY)

Better song in your opinion:Deniece Williams "Let's Hear It For the Boy" orMadonna "Borderline"Also, which song do you think Matt Schaub likes better?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:04 PM)

Borderline, by a mile. I would hope Schaub agrees.

chris (ann arbor mi)

what's up on the status o Fili Moala?? is he going to contribute this year or is it time to slap the "bust" tag on him?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:05 PM)

How can you slap a bust tag on a guy they didn't need in order to go to the Super Bowl? He gets a year to develop, for sure. Maybe two.

Bryan (Indianapolis)

Do you plan on traveling to Indy for the OTAs or mini camp??Please do, all the local coverage is focused on the Indy 500 and I need my Colts fix...

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:05 PM)

I'm there for minicamp that first weekend of June.

Jason (San Diego)

Hi Paul. I was wondering if you think Andre Johnson is setting the tone in the division by showing that he is commited to the team by showing up even though he is not happy with his contract. I would like to see the other Johnson come in and accept his responsibilities to his team. I think CJ is underpaid, but he will get a new deal eventually if he shows the same commitment level.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:06 PM)

What happens with one team in a division during the offseason does no tone setting for anyone else.

Jason (Chicago)

Under the assumption that the salary cap will return who do you see the Texans not retaining out of their key players with contracts coming up? The only two that are somewhat expendable are Pollard and Daniels, but the thought of our Defense, especially the back end, without him is scary. Also I have read somewhere that Owen Daniels is just as important to our offense as Andre (how is that possible?) It just seems like there is a surplus of talent but wont be enough money to give to everyone. How do you see it playing out?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:07 PM)

The cap really hasn't been an issue as far as teams being unable to keep their own talent for a while now. If you plan you can pay. You may not be able to bring in outsiders, but you should be able to keep your own. And Daniels is great, but he's not the top tight end in his division better yet the league. So Johnson is better. "Read somewhere" is kind of vague, no?

Jason (San Diego)

I grew up in Tennessee and the one thing that I am happy with is the consistent play from the Titan's D over the years. Do you think that the Titan's have the personel to get back to the punch you in the mouth defense that we've had in the past? Also, do you think they have improved their roster enough to have a lethal defense this coming season? Does Chuck Cecil have the play calling ability that Jim Schwartz had?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:08 PM)

Over the yeas but not including last year?

Kevin (Nashville)

What do you think of this fan website devoted to obtaining signatures in hopes of making Bud Adams pay CJ? Also, can CJ be signed for a high number of years @ $715k per year (30% rule) and a large signing bonus? Isn't this a possibility? I mean, a few years ago Fisher and Reese were vocal that the Titans had to pull the "salary purge" due to holding onto players longer than intended in order to make another super bowl run that would have obviously satisfied the fans. Do the fans have any leverage with Bud in your opinion?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:08 PM)

Petition is an absolute waste of time. Stay tuned for a column to surface in the next hour looking at CJ's numbers...

Jared Cook (Psychiatrist Couch)

What happened to me last year? Have I gotten better? And will I be an impact player this year?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:09 PM)

Ankle injury was serious and by the time you were back your confidence was gone. You look better and I think you will make an impact.

macdaddyx4 (CO)

Paul, I love your work and I am an aspiring sports journalist. Do you have any advice for me?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:10 PM)

Sorry to be a downer, but: seriously consider alternative avenues. There are just very few jobs. Send a note to my mailbag and we'll talk.

Chris (Grand Rapids, MI)

Do you think Britt will end up #3 receiver? Seems like Fish is playing hardball with him right now, and they seem real big on Damian Williams (btw, I love the nickname Avatar, that Griff and VY have given to him). And out of Paul Williams, Hawk, and Edison who do you think will stay with the team?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:11 PM)

I think Britt will end up No. 1 receiver. May hardball is pretty meaningless. If D. Williams is good, all three of those guys could go. I'd keep Hawk is I had to keep one.

andy (indy)

hey paul. who do you see getting the most looks this season? garcon, collie, or gonzalez? thanks!

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:12 PM)

I think it'll be spread around pretty evenly.

Erik (Salt Lake City, UT)

Will the Colts have a SuperBowl hangover or do they go the Seahawks route?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:12 PM)

I see no potential for a hangover.

Chad R (Jacksonville, Fl)

How much money do you think Rasheed Mathis deserve?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:12 PM)

Less than he's scheduled to make.

Jerry Hughes (West side of Indianapolis)

Over/Under of the number of games I'll start: 6.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:13 PM)

Under. You expecting a lot of Freeney and Mathis injuries?

Xrayvsn (Murfreesboro, TN)

Do you think teams will be less inclined to gameplan to allow an individual to reach a record or milestone (such as the Titans did last year, when started giving CJ more carries to hit 2000) if the next season, those same players who benefited by this then threaten to holdout?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:14 PM)

I think contract issues and game plan issues are two different things handled by different people at different times of year.

Steve (Tenn)

How come the Titans sent Lendale White packing? Was he lazy? I heard his body is soft, and he is lazy. Is he just plain lazy?? Lendale lazy.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:14 PM)

They didn't like him anymore.

LEO (FLORIDA)

YOU THINK THAT JACKSONVILLE WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFF

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:15 PM)

NO I DON'T.

Chad R (Jacksonville, Fl)

Who is your surprise team to have a chance at winning the Super Bowl?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:15 PM)

Would Atlanta qualify as a surprise?

Erik (Salt Lake City, UT)

I know that if the league is to put on a cap on rookie earnings the players want that money to go to veterans. How do you go about doing that? It sounds like trickle down theory which I must say simply doesnt work. Tax breaks for the rich doesnt guarantee more spending.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:17 PM)

You reduce the rookie pool and write a rule that that money has to be spent. Raise the team cap minimum, so to speak.

Peyton Manning (In The Dark)

Paul, is this ... is this a chat? How come no one told me? I feel like I'm left in the dark right now, Paul.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:18 PM)

Sorry Bud. It's a weekly deal. Usually more of note when we aren't here than when we are.

Simon K (crib)

Am I the only person other than Frank that did not get the Amelia Earhart reference?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:18 PM)

Yes, and in a few years you'll do something he can't: Learn about it.

Ricardo (Detroit)

Now that they've upgraded their overall team and Stafford has experience, any chance the Lions make the playoffs?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:19 PM)

Not yet. Pack and Vikes in division are too tough.

Chris (Grand Rapids, MI)

Do you think Kennedy Pola is an upgrade for RB's coach? Who stays? Blount or S. Johnson?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:20 PM)

Johnson is nowhere near the prospect Blount is, I don't understand why everyone keeps acting like they both come in with same chance. Also Blount is a bigger guy, different than CJ and Ringer where Johnson is another of the same. Pola is good. Don't know how you upgrade on a guy who coaches a 2,000 yard rusher.

Reese (Bermudian PA)

what is your position on the PED's case with Brian Cushing? Do you think that they should revoke his Rookie of the year award?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:21 PM)

No, and they revoted and it's a closed case.

Peyton Manning (Cutting That Meat)

Paul, with our O-Line as abysmal as it is, how many games until I get seriously injured?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:21 PM)

You get rid of the ball very quickly, rarely take a big hit and abysmal is way overstating.

Alex (Clarksville)

What will the titans record be this season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:22 PM)

6-10 or 7-9

Reese (Bermudian PA)

ill give it 3 games and mannings out for a few weeks

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:23 PM)

Yeah, because his durability has been such a big question throughout his career.

Colts Dline (West side of Indianapolis)

If I can keep only one: Antonio Johnson or Daniel Muir which do I keep? I saw you kinda lumped them together with same status on your awesome rundown of Indy free agents but you didn't offer much in the way of your personal preference.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:23 PM)

Muir is probably better and has more upside. But they will both be there.

Kevin Costner (Hollywood)

ESPN is reporting that the Field of Dreams farm is for sale. I think it would be a nice new location for AFC south blog headquarters. It would be much closer to the 1 playoff team in the division.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:24 PM)

We are so on the same wavelength. Day one, my dad comes for a catch.

Corey (D.C.)

Isnt the CJ situation exactly what the NFL SHOULD want? Give rookies smaller deals so that it doesnt kill the team that drafted them in the event they dont pan out (JaMarcus Russell), then allow teams to redo the contract of those players who do grossly out-perform the smaller deal? To me the CJ situation is a lot different from Andre Johnson because CJ SHOULD have had a small contract, while Andre already signed a huge deal and is just wanting even more. Thoughts?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:25 PM)

Interesting thoughts. I see your point but don't think you want to put a team in a spot where it is expected/compelled to re-do a deal. It shouldn't be too hard to create a system where the vast majority of deals stand up over their life. How about more incentives?

Brian (Jacksonville, FL)

You know what makes listening to the NBA playoffs on the radio worth while? When the announcer states "Doc Rivers as at the table talking to Finley." Whenever I hear this all I can see is Doc and your dog. Does Finley have the outside game to make it in the NBA?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:25 PM)

The NBA is so full of dogs, Finley fits right in!

Donal (Waterloo, Canada)

Mathis worth less than he's scheduled to make? Old and oft-injured or has he declined that much?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:26 PM)

When he's healthy he can be real good. But he's not great.

Jesse (Indy)

How's the clean up effort in Nashville? Things looking up?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:26 PM)

Better sure. But lots of folks still with a lot to recover from.

Massey (TN)

Hey in your most recent post in your blog (VY Vacation), is it in the video that shows the pic of him and McNair, or is it in ESPN mag article? Is there a link to see the pic? Thanks...

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:27 PM)

It was a description in the article. No pic in what I linked to. Maybe in the actual mag, I don't know.

Kevin Costner (Hollywood)

My brother and I have invented a massive centrifuge that separates oil from water. BP is considering using it to save Louisiana. Have you ever chatted with a true american hero before?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:27 PM)

I've always said you are a genius.

Clay (Nashville)

Blaine Bishop on the radio the other day said that Steve McNair was the toughest player he ever played with in regards to playing through injuries. Do you think that it was difficult for some of the older vets who played with Steve to adjust to Vince and all of his various injuries?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:29 PM)

No. There are very few guys who played with both. Who's left now? Adjusting from one guy to the next on the field isn't something people are thinking about while they play.

Andre Johnson (Texans OTAs)

Sorry about that PK. I know that was a little out of character, I just saw the WR as my position and thought I had to be a diva at least once in my career. Don't worry, I'm back, humble as always and ready to get to work.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:30 PM)

Free pass, I say. You've earned and it was just a couple underwear practices.

Dustin (Pittsburgh)

I don't see the titans keeping Verner, Mouton, Mccourty, Hill, Fuller, Finnegan, and Hood. Who do you foresee being let go?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:31 PM)

Locks to stay: Finnegan and Fuller. Nearly in that category, I think: Mouton, McCourty, Verner.

Adam (Lansing)

I think the Colts will have a better team than last season. Agree?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:32 PM)

Possible. Gonzo back is large. Hayden for a full season will be nice. Hughes is exciting. Eldridge can have an impact. But I want to see the Oline sort out and I think the schedule is tougher.

Matt (Baltimore)

Better TE prospect, Zach Miller or Jared Cook?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:33 PM)

Different guys and I've not seen enough of either. talking third-rounder versus sixth-rounder, so Cook should be better.

Rob (Kentucky)

Last year was CJ's big year so how much money did he make last year? I mean, I know the guy isnt broke. I'm sure he's got some bread in the bank.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:36 PM)

Column preview: CJ has pocketed $7.27 million to date.

Jesse (Indy)

I think Costner's geography is as bad as his acting. Iowa is substantially farther away from Indianapolis than Nashville is...

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:36 PM)

Point taken on geography. But back off on other matters.

frank (Nashville)

If CJ2K were to holdout through training camp and the say that he is willing to miss the first few gains before rejoining the team do you think this would finally convince the flaming thumbtacks to get him a new deal?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:37 PM)

Titans win a showdown. We're talking a fine over $10,000 a day for missing camp and he needs to play to get the third year credit.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:38 PM)

Here's the column: Chris Johnson contract math

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:38 PM)

http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/11873/chris-johnson-contract-math

Corey (D.C.)

CJ Contract follow-up. It seems that players can get out of this mess by simply agreeing to 2-yr deals over and over. Of course they wont because they want it both ways, but would teams go for that? Or do they also want to lock a player in for many years?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:41 PM)

Yo ucan't do a two-year deal as a drafted rookie. They have your rights for four (in old rules, six now). First rounders usually sign five or six. Others four. Or three with a RFA year.

Finley (via mobile)

Can you pick me up some cowboy boots for my next "Finley Kuharsky for Governor" commercial?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:41 PM)

Two or four?

Drew (Louisville, KY)

Paul, 6-10 or 7-9...really?!? Where's the love? Chuck Cecil's D should be stronger in his 2nd year, CJ2k coming back behind a (mostly) veteran O-line and a legit #1 receiver in Britt, how do we end up 1-2 games back from last season?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:42 PM)

Why should the D be better? Where is my assurance that Griffin gets his head together? That McRath-Witherspoon are better than Thornton-Bulluck? That's the second corner can cover? That they will get pass pressure?

The Gambler (Vegas)

How many AFC South teams do you predict will make the playoffs? Which one(s)?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:43 PM)

Colts in. Texans maybe.

Grant (IL)

Do you see Jags TE Zach Miller being a dallas clark-like receiver for them this season? Or will we have to wait for him to have that kind of impact in the receiving game?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:44 PM)

I don't think they are ever going to throw enough for him to have a chance to be Clark. Clark caught 100 balls last year. All Jags TEs combined for 64.

Donal (Waterloo, Canada)

Follow up question: thoughts on Cox in the short-long term?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:45 PM)

Like him. Very poised and confident, getting better and smarter.

Sam Giguere (Eating a Baguette on Westside of Indy)

Can I take beat out John Mattews and Taj Smith for the 5th reciever spot? Peter King said a few days ago I was hair away from taking it last year so I gotta be encouraged right? At 5'11 215 pounds I bring an interesting physical skill set to the table.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:45 PM)

Even in May, I cannot get excited about the competition for the No. 5 receiver slot when he will never see the field unless two guys get hurt. Loves Smith last summer at camp.

Vince Young (Paradise Island)

6-10? 7-9? Didn't I just go 8-8 with a 0-6 start? Counting me out again??...... And don't tell me defense won those games.....

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:46 PM)

If last year's results guarantee this year's, why should we play the games? The standings will be exactly the same, right?

JohnB_in_ATX (Austin)

Do any teams in the nation visit and try to win over other nearby cities within their state? I love the Texans but I am sick and tired of seein and hearing about the freaking overhyped Cowboys everywhere!!!

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:47 PM)

Teams caravan etc.I know the Titans and Jaguars try to reach out. But not to other markets where teams have a claim. The Cowboys aren't campaigning in Houston.

Texans Fans (Herding Cattle)

WHAAAA!!! WHAAAA!!! WHAAA!!! We never come to the chats or send questions because we need to make sure we have enough time to complain about your work on the comments sections.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:47 PM)

I see some have time for both.

JD (Houston)

When are you coming out to Houston for OTA notes?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:48 PM)

Early June.

Kris Brown (Houston)

I'm really scared that Neil Rackers will take my spot. Even if I do win the position on the team, I'm worried that no one likes me anymore. Maybe I should intentionally win the offseason competition and miss a few game winners to teach fans a lesson before retiring. What do u think?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:48 PM)

I think you should look for those two tall yellow things and try to kick the ball between them.

Shake (Iowa)

What do you do with the Colts secondary if you are Caldwell. They have there starting caliber safeties, and just 3 corners with any real NFL experience. Do you lean towards Bethea or Bullitt practice working in the nickel and dime early and often or keep them taking near full safety reps in the event Sanders misses serious time again.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:50 PM)

Bethea's not moving from safety. Bullitt will be ready and able to nickel or dime it if and when needed. Odds are he plays safety at least some. Not a problem at this stage for him to be a DB Swiss Army knife.

Jason (Jacksonville)

I think Gene Smith will flex his muscle over the Mathis situation, should Rasheen decide to play hardball with the new Maestro. Gene has shown he is not afraid to let em walk, and I feel he will not be afraid to ignore an aging DBs financial whining. What are your thoughts and how do you see it playing out? I understand Rasheen's position and don't fault him at all, I just feel like he may have drawn the short straw.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:51 PM)

As I will post before the weekend, Mathis has ZERO leverage.

Jesse (Backed off on other matters)

Alright. Bull Durham is good.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:51 PM)

It's great. And Field of Dreams is superb.

Brandon (TN)

What is there to sort out on the Colt's O-line. The line was good last year besides the inability to pick up short yardage. It got them to the playoffs didn't it? Exit Ryan Lilja enter huge Jaquese McClendon who bench presses Volkswagons. Sounds good to me.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:52 PM)

They brought in more than McClendon, and with a new position coach there could be more changes. But the line as an issue has been overplayed. We need to talk about something.

JohnB_in_ATX (Austin)

Why is everyone expecting the Texans to lose 3 of their 1st 4 games. Cushing is only one guy. You cant really expect that the Texans lose to both the Redskins and the Cowboys before beating the Raiders. I mean seriously. Our winning record show that we can play! You have an argument when you talk about the Colts but the Skins are under new leadership and you cant expect overnight success on that team. Any thoughts?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:52 PM)

How'd that guaranteed game in Oakland go two years ago?

Razel (Texas)

Just wanted to say thanks paul for the chats and facebook updates, this time of year tends to be a little boring for football fans but all the updates and lil snips help a lot!

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:53 PM)

Thanks for reading and coming to these.

KingKev (TX)

Do you see a bigger season from Garcon in 2010?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:54 PM)

I would think so. If they try to push the ball downfield a bit more, he'll be central to that.

Jesse (Reality)

What about Waterworld? The Postman?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:54 PM)

Can';t hit a home run every day. Even with medical assistance.

Jeff (Houston)

It's obviously early, but do you see the Cushing situation going further (ie: Minnesota-esque situation) or does he just serve his suspension and let it all blow over? Further, do you think his missing the four games will *directly* lead to a worse start or that the Texans start will depend on other aspects. By that I mean, yes Cushing being in might have made a difference but it was really X that cost us this game.

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:55 PM)

I think his absence certainly hurts them and could lead to a worse start. I don't know that we will be able to measure it precisely. I don't see how it turns into Star Caps.

Jason (Bmore)

Has Nate Washington lived up to his contract, or is that just the going rate on a mediocre wr coming from a super bowl champ?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:56 PM)

Not yet. But it wasn't a one-year deal.

Chris (Indianapolis, IN)

You gotten a chance to challenge Myron Rolle in Chess yet or are you a checkers kinda guy?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:56 PM)

I've never played chess in my life, so if those are my options: Tic-Tac-Toe it is...

Peyton Manning (Paul's Yard)

How come you never want to interview me? If I promise to out you in the background of a commercial, would you interview me for ESPN? Oh, and how many more years will I have Jeff Saturday as my Center?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:57 PM)

Two more for Saturday seems about right. I have said over and over, you say the word and I will be in Indy to interview you in five hours.

Bud Adams (Gulf Coast)

Kuharsky, you have no credibility, asking for the head of Vince Young........ How can you predict now that my team will go 6-10.......??

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:58 PM)

I miss when I predict, sure. But check the clips about a year ago and see who wrote that VY should hire Tom Condon.

Ricky (DC)

Every year since Snyder's been in, the Redskins made the biggest splash or were serious contendors in the off-season (in the wrong way)...Is this offseason any different than the last? Is the new coach and revamping of the team just building up more disappointment or is this the real deal?

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:58 PM)

I think they probably finish third or fourth, but likely get on a better track.

Paul (Indy)

What do you make of the Kevin Thomas injury, did the Colts take a risk drafting him in the third knowing his injury history, they could have easily gotten O-line help with that draft pick

Paul Kuharsky
  (3:59 PM)

Seriously? If they liked him and he was healthy, I don't think they are in the business of forecasting luck.

James (Nashville, TN)

Any possibility of Jacksonville franchise being moved to London?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:00 PM)

Would have to be South London for them to qualify for AFC South.

Peyton Manning (OTAs)

Why aren't y'all over here reporting on us? Finley and Simon can crash at my place.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:03 PM)

I'm coming for minicamp.

John (Nashville)

Any word on the Titans changing up their uniforms?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:03 PM)

To what?

John, Austin [via mobile]

The Texans have some optimism after last years winning record but the schedule is much tougher this year. If they take a step back will Gary Kubiaks job be in jeopardy?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:03 PM)

Bob McNair is very loyal to Kubiak, so I think it would have to be a pretty bad season. But fan-wise, no playoffs and they call for his head.

Ben Tate (Houston Texas)

I'm about to rush for over 700 yards and 5 touchdowns this season. wachoo think PK?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:04 PM)

I could see that. Honestly if interior line is better, I could see more.

Guy (Round Rock, TX)

I wish I could be like Albert Haynesworth:1. Get paid @ work!2. Get new boss3. Tell new boss that new strategy at work sucks and I don't want to be a part of itMan, if my boss came to me today (finding me chatting -doh!) and told me I was working on the Pensky file, I'd be all over it.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:06 PM)

The Pensky file is a good project.

Brandon (TN)

With Clyde Christensen taking over as Offensive Coordinator for the Colts do you think there will be any slip in production? Or do you think he will be less predictable and a good change for an already great team?

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:07 PM)

We can't know and I don't have great grounds to predict yet. Stay tuned.

Paul Kuharsky
  (4:07 PM)

Folks, that flew by. Thanks for coming.
