Let's get started!

david (L.A.)

Lakers or Boston? who do you have wining this?

Satch Sanders
  (4:01 PM)

I feel like Boston is the team to win. They have the deeper bench so they will be able to wear down this very talented Laker team.

Courtney Jackson (Lindenwold, NJ)

Hi satch, who was your biggest pet peave in the nba at that time that you have to guard?

Satch Sanders
  (4:02 PM)

The toughest person I had to guard was the Laker great Elgin Baylor. As far as I'm concerned he's the best ball player to have ever played in the NBA.

JoeyT (Boston)

How impressed have you been by the job that Doc Rivers is doing with the Celtics? I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

Satch Sanders
  (4:04 PM)

The record speaks for itself. History is always the best teller of the story. When we look back, we will see that Doc Rivers is one of the all-time best coaches in the NBA.

LarryK (New Bedford)

Who was your all-time favorite teammate?

Satch Sanders
  (4:05 PM)

The person that I was closest to was Stacey Jones. He helped me make the team my rookie year. He was never reluctant to give me advice and he had a tremendous sense of humor.

BillT (Fairhaven)

Can the Lakers will this series without a healthy Bynum?

Satch Sanders
  (4:06 PM)

Certainly the Lakers are a very capable team and they can make up of the absence of any player other than Kobe Bryant. As far as can the when the series, that's up to Boston.

JK (Hartford)

Which current Celtics players do you enjoy watching the most?

Satch Sanders
  (4:07 PM)

I've come to be a real Rondo fan, he always plays hard. He has style and his style of play is effective. Along with all of that, he plays in a professional way. I really consider myself a Rondo fan.

Harry (Northford)

How much of the current finals have you watched and what are your thoughts?

Satch Sanders
  (4:09 PM)

I've been able to watch all of the Finals and its clear that these two teams are very evenly matched. But because of Nate Robinson, Rasheed Wallace, Big Baby, Tony Allen and the rest of the Celtics bench, I see the Celtics coming out on top.

Lucas (New Orleans, LA)

What was your favorite moment as a Celtic?

Satch Sanders
  (4:10 PM)

My favorite moment was being told by Red Auerbach that I made the team and that I was going to be a Celtic.

Leo (Oxford, MS)

What do the Celtics need to do in order to win two more games and send the Lakers home?

Satch Sanders
  (4:12 PM)

I think the Celtics need to play the way they played in Game 4 in hopes of being the Lakers. They need all eight or nine men win. They need everyone to come together and continue to play tough. And I'm sure Doc Rivers is up to the task of getting them ready to play.

Mike (Cleveland, OH)

Ray and Paul have been stinking it up the past couple of games, what do they need to do to turn things around?

Satch Sanders
  (4:14 PM)

I think you need to look at the effect players have on the court. Just because they haven't been scoring a bunch doesn't mean they have been stinking up the court. The Lakers still have to guard them and that leaves other players open to score. Even though they aren't scoring in bunches, they still are having an effect on the Los Angeles defense.

Damon Wheeler (Santa Cruz, CA)

What was it like to see the rivalry between Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell in person?

Satch Sanders
  (4:16 PM)

They are two of the best centers that have ever played in the NBA. It was a marvelous experience to watch those two go up against each other. Wilt's scoring against Bill's shot blocking ability was great. It was great fun watching those two playing against each other but unfortunately I had my hands full guarding players like Billy Cunningham.

Zac (Brooklyn)

Do you think there will be another player to ever win 8 or more championships?

Satch Sanders
  (4:18 PM)

Quite frankly I thought the Chicago team lead by Michael Jordan had the best chance to do it. The key is keeping a core group of players together and now a days that's tough to do.

  (4:20 PM)
