Dudes. How good was UFC 116? Full recap tomorrow on MMA Live on ESPN2. Working on interviews with Cain Velasquez, Chris Leben, and referee Josh Rosenthal. Alright, let's vent...
What do you think of Josh Rosenthal not stopping the fight the 1st round?
I thought he made the right call. By no means did Lesnar block all of those shots, but he wasn't really close to being out/knocked out. Rosenthal gave Brock the chance to recover, and he did. I think we would've had a far greater uproar had the fight been stopped there.
Top to bottom, best card of the year so far. Agree? The UFC Boston show might give it a run for its money but I thoroughly enjoyed this UFC.
Absolutely, Brian. Not only was it the card of the year, it might have been the best UFC PPV I have ever seen. Would have to rack my brain to say that definitively. But that show was ridiculous.
UFC 116 Card of the year? Leben vs. Sexyama Fight of the year?
Certainly the card of the year. Not sure if that fight will hold up as Fight of the Year. But through six months, it's in the discussion.
Hey Jon?.I saw your appearance on Sportsnation this week and I must say excellent job in getting Colin Cowherd to order UFC 116. Keep it up & maybe ESPN will give MMA more exposure!!
Thanks, Julio! SportsNation has been very good to MMA and MMA Live. We're gettin' there. Appreciate you watching man.
Who would you like to see Carwin fight next.
I'd like to see him face the Junior Dos Santos-Roy Nelson winner. I think he is one win away from another title shot. Who doesn't want to see him rematch Brock Lesnar?
How does Carwin not get a rematch with the everything that happened in the first round. The first thing I thought after Lesnar finished him off was okay, I guess he'll be fighting him again in a few months.
He's gonna get a rematch. I'm just not sure you can give it to him right away. Cain Velasquez is clearly the #1 contender and has been kept out of action since February for a reason. Lesnar-Carwin II will happen. Just not right away.
This was the first PPV in quite some time that I've felt good about being $50 poorer after the fights.
I actually think UFC 113, 114, 115 and 116 have all been quite good. There was a little rough patch there before this recent run, but overall it's been a strong year for the UFC. Glad you enjoyed the show, Brad. Just too bad you folks in Indy aren't getting Lesnar-Velasquez in September.
Mir has said he won't be dropping to 205. Who do you think he will fight next? Loser of JDS / Nelson? Gonzaga? Nog?
Tough to say, Mark. I think Gonzaga is the realest possibility. Would like to see them match jiu-jitsu.
I really hope all the people who complained the last few weeks about UFC 116 bought the card. You don't need "star power" to have a successful event. Stars are made by performances like we saw on Saturday.
God must be a UFC fan. The card was somewhat underwhelming on paper, but given that Lesnar was at the top of it, you knew the PPV number would be strong. And now, many of the casual fans who bought their first PPV this past weekend got a great first look at MMA. It was just a phenomenal showcase for the sport and for the UFC.
Kind of a side note, but how classy were both Lesnar and Carwin after the fight?? True warriors. Can't wait to see them fight again.
Glad you brought that up. Brock Lesnar is much classier than people realize. I've interviewed him 4-5 times, and he's been beyond respectful, especially so off the air.
Hey Anik, who's next for George Sotiropoulos, maybe the Florian-Maynard loser?
My first thought was Evan Dunham. But both guys are undefeated in the Octagon, so the UFC would be smart not to have them face each other right now. I think Sotiropoulos will get either the Florian-Maynard loser, or perhaps even the Edgar-Penn loser. We'll see. Either way, Sots is one to watch. Sweet jab.
i am a big sexyama fan, was real dissapointed in his approach in the third round, what did you think of his performance?
What's up Angelo? I just think he gassed, man. Had been out of action for 51 weeks, and didn't have enough left in the tank. Too aggressive in the third for sure, especially given the aforementioned fatigue.
Jon, who is Leben fighting at UFC 117? Just kidding. After this past month for him, what is the next step?
Hahahahaha. Good to hear from you, Nate. Leben has emerged as a legit middleweight contender. He might have to avenge the loss to Bisping before he sniffs the title picture. But I would like to see him fight Wanderlei Silva, or perhaps even Vitor Belfort, if one of those guys can hurry up and get healthy. Alan Belcher is also a possibility.
Give Gerald Harris his props for holding up after his opponent was clearly out upon hitting the canvas. Far too many fighters go for another blow. Dana White should hold him up as an example for the sport.
Huge props to Gerald Harris. One of the best examples of fighter restraint we have ever seen. I think as MMA continues to grow, you will see fighters show that type of restraint more and more. That was one of the best moments of the night. Just an unbelievably great night all around for Mixed martial arts.
Do you think Brock is getting too much credit for winning? I'm impressed that he absorbed all those shots, but offensively, the only thing he showed me was he could beat a gassed opponent
Well clearly, his stand-up still needs work. he looked highly awkward to me early on in the fight. He is not nearly as technical in that department as Carwin is, and it showed. But Lesnar also seemed a bit nervous and unlike himself, even when he made his way to the cage. A 51-week layoff can do that to someone. I expect a cleaner performance his next time out.
Anik, someone needs to explain the Overeem hype to me. He's never beaten a top level fighter other than Vitor and that was 4 yrs ago. He's been crushed by every top guy he's ever fought.
I thought Brett Rogers would beat him, so I've probably been underhyping Overeem. He's arguably the best heavyweight striker we have in MMA. It's just too bad we won't get to see him fight Fedor before the year is out. That would've given him the best chance to prove his worth as a Top 5 heavyweight in the world.
Mousasi is fighting Jake O'Brien, another wrestler. Think we'll see some improvements against the takedown?
You'd like to think so. But Jake O'Brien isn't nearly the opponent that King Mo is.
Despite Leben's great couple of weeks, do you believe he has what it takes to make a serious run at the MW title?
It's crazy to think Leben was a borderline gatekeeper 2 weeks ago. Still don't see him as a future middleweight champion. But Aaron Simpson and Yoshihiro Akiyama were contenders, and he finished both of them. So, not the time to be doubting Leben I guess.
What's next for Sexyama...perhaps Kobayashi when he gets out of jail
Already in the works...
Hey Jon long time lurker. How true are reports of M-1 Global restructuring and panic over fedor's loss. And thoughts about Coker suggesting Fedor fight Übereem for SF title...
I touched base with M-1 executive Evgeni Kogan yesterday. He is moving forward and working on a rematch between Fedor and Fabricio Werdum.
I saw you on Sportsnation live and not on the web. enjoyed it. Agree wrestling is the best base to enter MMA, but it's not the only. Three Zuffa champions are Brazilians with serious Muay Tai and BJJ credentials.
Of course. And plenty of dudes disagree with me. But if I was embarking upon an MMA career tomorrow, I would hope to come in as a wrestler, as opposed to a boxer or BJJ black belt. Just one man's opinion.
why isnt indi going to get brock and cain?
I believe the turnaround was too quick, and Lesnar received some sort of medical suspension.
You back to remind all the chatters that you're till the chubbiest s.o.b around?
Hahahaha. Bro, I've slimmed down. Still the Chost though and still get swollen post-Buffalo wings.
Where do you have Lesnar on the P4P list.
Off the top of my head, he's in the Top 10. But not in the top 4-5.
Why dont people really see what brock accomplished coming of near death, ring rust, taking a beating, and sub a top heavyweight for the win?
You are right, Brian. And he's getting plenty of credit from a lot of people. I just hope people don't underestimate the illness and accompanying layoff, b/c both were huge factors. And the transition from full mount, to side mount, to arm-triangle was just mint.
Hey chost What does Brock need to do to get that standup looking better?
Keep working with Peter Welch. People forget how green Lesnar still is. His desire to improve and be great is off the charts.
I'm gonna gas and tap out like Carwin if I don't get a question through soon. ;) jk Chost. I know your swamped.
Danno. Sorry man. You're one of the loyal ones. We are over 700 questions in the first 25 minutes!
Does Sonnen have a realistic chance against the Spider at UFC 117? If its a verbal fight then Chael ko's Silva!
It's MMA. Underdogs come in all the time. So certainly he's got a chance. But I think Silva will outstrike him early and get the TKO.
Chost, I would have loved to see an ESPN2 post-PPV show on Saturday. Let the suits know! Also, gotta love a Stephan Bonner win and post-fight interview.
Thanks, Ken. It was tough not being out there, believe me. Bonnar is my hero. Actually got choked up watching that one. His post-fight speech sounded like he was gonna retire. We've now learned he was just so damn elated after getting his first win since 2007.
Who should Rashad fight for interim LHW Title? Waiting until March for him to fight again would stink!
It would probably be Machida. But I think Rashad may be better served to just wait it out and cash his MMA Live checks until Shogun is ready.
Chost is the host with the most!
Ok JA. We know you've got the inside sources. Where is LeBron going? MIA, CHI, CLE or UFC HW Division?
I've said since Day 1 I thought he should go to the Knicks. And I'm from Boston! I just think LeBron craves the spotlight, and there is no spotlight in the NBA quite like Madison Square Garden. I think he becomes a Knick tomorrow night.
Do you think guys like belfort and. Evans should wait so long before their title shots or should they get a fight in to stay fresh?
I am always in favor of fighters being as active as possible. Maybe that is because I'm not a figther, and I don't know what it takes. But I think the belts should be on the line 3x per calendar year. So, when an injury surfaces, I think interim title fights should happen.
Is Randy inline for a title shot at 205?
Not right now. But he's on the short list, even if you haven't been all that impressed with his recent victories. He'll get a shot against a top 205er, provided he gets through James Toney on August 28th.
How do you feel about Interim titles?
I don't think they always mean a whole lot. But I believe them to be a necessity, b/c of the nature of MMA. Fighters get hurt.
Where do you see the sport of MMA in 10 years?
It'll continue to grow and become more mainstream. Hopefully, MMA Live and ESPN can be a small part of that growth. It's an exciting time.
Could you explain what Bonnar was doing/what was that pose after his victory on Saturday?
Ask me again next week and I will have the answer. Bonnar will be in Bristol next week, stitched up or otherwise.
What's the early line on Brock dominating Cain? I hope they get that fight in ASAP.
As you guys know, no one has championed Cain Velasquez's cause more than I have in this space. Huge Cain fan. Just don't like the matchup for him. He's quicker than Shane Carwin, but doesn't have the same one-punch power. And he's also smaller. He might thwart a takedown or two. But I'll have to see to believe that he can get Brock off of him once he gets top position. I like Lesnar via hammer fists on the ground.
Who's next for Bonnar?
You guys tell me. He'd love to fight a big name and I don't blame him. Just not sure it's in the cards.
Say Toney one times Randy on the way in going for his takedown. Major hit to UFC(MMA) or not?
That would definitely be a hit to MMA, albeit not necessarily a major one. Randy Couture is still 46 years old, and Toney is a Hall-of-Fame boxer. But I have been consistent in my belief that there is far more for MMA to lose than gain by that matchup. All of that said, I think Couture is gonna do just fine and represent MMA with a one-sided win.
Bonnar v Griffin 2, simple as that!
You mean Bonnar-Griffin III. Either way, I'll buy that.
Bonnar vs Bader?
I doubt it. Bader is injury-plagued, but he's still on the cusp of contention. Bonnar isn't.
Why has McNeil not been on MMA Live as much since it's been moved to TV? He's a great information man, and I feel he brings a lot more to the show than the other analysts. Just one man;s opinion.
Hey Adam. Franklin is still a major part of MMA Live. We've just been having two fighters on set as analysts over the last several weeks, and I think that also works. But the F-Mac will still contribute regularly as an MMA insider, even if it is via satellite from New Jersey. I miss seeing the guy every week.
Bonnar vs Louis Cane
Jamie Varner is in NYC this week, any chance of getting him onn MMA Live??
I like Varner a lot and he is very candid. But that said, there is just way too much UFC 116 stuff to get to.
You think Bonnar's job was really on the line? Isn't he a UFC lifer after the TUF 1 finale plus he is the WEC analyst.
He'll always have some sort of job with Zuffa. But had he lost, I doubt very much that that job would still be as a fighter. I still only think Bonnar will fight once or twice more. The dude has had a ton of injuries and surgeries. The body can only take so much. That win over Soszynski was all desire.
When is the UFC going to get that "network TV" deal that has been just out of their grasp?
You are asking the wrong guy. I just hope, if and when it happens, that the deal is with ESPN/ABC!
how come james tony is not fighting in ufc
He is. First (and potentially last) fight is against Randy Couture at UFC 118. That is 8/28 in Boston.
Who would you give a better shot of beating Lesnar; Dos Santos or Cain?
Good question. Both have a shot. Dos Santos could floor Brock with one punch, but he would get taken down with relative ease. Velasquez's motor is nonstop. Other than Carwin, I think Velasquez has the best shot to give Lesnar a run.
Where do you see Matt Hughes career ending? If he beats Almeida, do you think he'll retire or keep holding on?
He won't get another crack at the title. Perhaps 1-2 more fights after Almeida. But there is just nothing left to prove.
Am I the only one that is twitter illiterate? Do I just type @Jon_Anik and it pops up on your side?
That is correct. I try to respond to as many Twitter questions/comments directed my way as humanly possible. It's probably the best way to reach me.
As far as what base to start with in MMA, dont you think a lot of the high level BJJ guys would dominate even more if they had strong wrestling?
Sure they would. A guy like Kenny Florian has made great strides with his wrestling. That will be firmly put to the test against Gray Maynard next month.
When is Jon Jones's next fight?
August 1st against Vladimir Matyushenko.
Todd Duffee vs Brendan Schaub?
That is realistic. I'd still like to see Duffee rematch Mike Russow first.
Chost, we desperately need UFC pre and post shows on ESPN...make it happen. We'll do our part, just keep doing yours. Gratzi for all you guys do.
Thanks, Trevor. I'm with ya, and hopefully by this time next year we are covering all UFC PPVs and shows of that magnitude. It was a bit depressing sitting home last weekend.
Ufc 116 was best show ever but is 117 best ever on paper i mean jds is first fight and thiago silva doesnt even make the main card?
117 is nice on paper. Certainly has better depth than 116 did. But, as you guys know, oftentimes the cards that look shallow end up being the best.
Does Bones finally get a Top Tier opponent after cleaning up the Janitor?
If he does, yes he does.
Why aren't you on Facebook???
Not sure. It took major prodding from Molly Qerim to even get me on Twitter. Now, I'm all about it. Maybe will get on Facebook one of these days.
What do you think happens if Lesnar can't take Cain down?
He will be at a speed and striking disadvantage on the feet. But Lesnar made appreciable strides even during the fight with Carwin. His stand-up game is only going to improve and tighten up. I really take Lesnar at his word when he says he has only scratched the surface.
get a facebook, I can harrass you alot more. K? k. sweet. wheres my 5 bucks! (:
Hahaha. Don't even remember the wager, bro. But send your address to email@example.com and I'll send you 5 dirty singles.
Any chance of getting Chael Sonnen on MMA Live? He has to be in the top 2 best trash talkers in the UFC.
Yes. We've had him on before and will definitely have him on before the fight with Anderson Silva. Definitely one of the most refreshing voices in the UFC. Now, if I could just get Frank Mir to return my texts.
Where do I send an email about getting you better ESPN coverage of the UFC cards?
firstname.lastname@example.org. Please and thanks.
Is Jason Brilz getting a rematch?
No. And it's unfortunate. Rumors abound that Lil Nog will face Rampage. But I'm told that is not a done deal. Still fluid.
Is Heath Herring still alive? What's his story?
He is alive. Not sure about his story, though. Send the question to email@example.com, if you would, and we can follow it up.
Chost, called in sick to join the chat today... kidding. Cain has better conditioning and way better stand up. JUst sayin'. P.S. don't do facebook, it's the Evil.
His cardio is the best I've ever seen out of a heavyweight. And his stand-up gets crisper every time out. He's just at a major size disadvantage.
Are we ever gonna see Faber move up?
No. Or at least not on any sort of consistent basis. He is actually moving down to 135 for his next fight.
is mayweather npacman going 2 fight or what?
Not sure, Geraldo. Thankfully, MMA is drunk with star power and keeps me busy. If and when Mayweather and Pacquiao do fight, I will trade in my car in order to get there.
Faber's too small...
What's next for Rich Franklin when he gets back from the broken arm? Jonny Bones? Thiago Silva?
I'd like to see him fight Thiago Silva.
What's next for Ben Henderson? Is there even a #1 contender in WEC LW?
I still would like to see Varner get another shot at Bendo. But right now, there isn't a clear-cut #1 contender. Kamal Shalorus is a name to watch as well.
Leben vs Belchar in a title eliminator?
Possibly. I do like the matchup quite a bit.
Joe's question about Herring, he's been pursuing a low level acting career has been in 4 movies since his fight with Brock. Not sure if he plans on fighting anytime soon.
Appreciate that, Jake. Once again, MMA Nation carrying me to the finish line here.
Does the low pay scale of the WEC prevent them from signing Marlon Sandro? What about Bellator?
You are right that Sandro can make more money in Japan at present. But I would imagine both the WEC and Bellator would be interested.
Anthony Pettis will be the #1 contender after WEC 50.
Brian has spoken.
I have hated Chris Leben for a while now, but for some reason am warming to the guy over the last couple of weeks. Any explanation?
You are not alone. He's gained a ton of fans over the last 2 weeks. He's also grown up quite a bit.
What about Brilz, Tito Ortiz, Hamill, or Franklin vs Bonnar?
All are possibilites. I can see the Hamill or Brilz fight happening before the others.
Chost, when are the PPV buys coming out. Thanks
Not sure, FatJ. But you can be sure we'll get you those #s ASAP. My guess is around 1.3 million.
Would Carwin have been better served raining down repeated Polish Hammers on Brock while in the mount? Rosenthal would have HAD to stop the fight, right?
Carwin just needed to replace the volume of strikes with accuracy. We've seen it a few times recently, where a fighter goes for the knockout blow and gasses himself out. He should've postured up, and really tried to connect with a big shot, as opposed to a bunch of wild strikes.
Thoughts on Chris Lytles double Sub move?
Nifty. Lytle's got like 20 submission wins or something.
When will Cain and Brock fight?
We all know James Toney should have no chance on the ground but if the unlikely happens, would it be a blow to MMA if Toney wins?
Check earlier in the chat. Answered that one.
If Shane Carwin couldn't knock Lesnar out, nobody can.
I don't disagree.
Who is on the show tomorrow?
Kenny Florian and Pat Miletich in Bristol. Producers are working on interviews with Cain Velasquez, Chris Leben, and referee Josh Rosenthal. Could also be a Big John McCarthy sighting.
Punchers with no ground game become champs and win fights in ufc all the time...why can't James?
Oh, Toney CAN win. Just not my expectation. Randy is too savvy.
Toney wont win and pigs dont fly
Will Dana give Randy a super bonus if he breaks Toney's arm in the fight?
Hahahahaha. Randy makes a lot of money already, but you can be sure a sick submission would open up Dana's pockets.
I know Brock's standup needs some work, but it's scary that he's learned at least one submission.
And he seems to have really mastered that one. Just a slick transition, and then you saw how coachable he is, as he looked to his corner for advice. Color me impressed.
No love for The Hybrid? 2 impressive quick wins for Schaub, time for a real fight!
Well, his opponent Chris Tuchscherer doesn't belong in the UFC, but Schaub clearly does. Definitely a guy to track.
If Brock loses to Cain, who does Carwin fight? Brock rematch or championship bout?
Your guess is as good as mine. I think Carwin would face Lesnar in that scenario. Shane has to win at least one fight to warrant another title shot.
Big props to Josh Rosenthal. The first time I watched the fight, I thought it was going to be stopped. 2nd time, Brock was not as hurt and defended himself better that originally thought.
Are the UFC 117 prelims going to be on Spike? They gotta show the Thiago Silva fight, no?
No official word, but I would imagine so.
chost, can you give me the actual name of Brock's finish? I thought it was a head and arm choke? Now I am hearing arm triangle???????
Both are fine, as far as I know. We will refer to it on MMA Live as an arm triangle.
Carwin said via website his body cramped up. He had to stand up. I watched it on replay. He destroyed Lesnar, made him run away. He got off Lesnar toward the end of round 1. Lesnar kept his belt. Im convinced Carwin won the fight. I dont think Brock will in a rematch.
Carwin has a great shot in a rematch. But if that rematch materializes, Lesnar won't be coming in off a 51-week layoff. That was a huge disadvantage for Brock, and he still got it done.
Brock should use the body slam in his fights. He is strong enough to pick anyone up.
True. But it's easier for him to just take dudes down and suffocate them with his girth.
Uh Carwin did not win he got choked by tree limbs
Of all people, why would Dana White put a Toney/Couture fight together, and then admit it's a freak show?
James Toney followed Dana White around the country until White finally relented and signed him. At UFC 108, I was in the UFC offices at the MGM Grand and Toney was literally stalking Dana, waiting around and asking for him. Hopefully, this is just a one-and-done, and a big fat L for Toney.
Any word on an Anderson Silva Shogun Rua fight?
Shogun Rua has a torn ACL, so that won't happen for a long time.
Brocks the best thats all you can say.
There are always going to be people who hate Brock no matter what he does. The man hadn't fought in a year, almost died, and then has to face Shane Carwin his first fight back...and wins by submission.
How often do you have to explain to the IRS why you are writing off PPVs?
Hahahaha. Never. With my job description, they have no argument.
Jon, do you think Carwin will be champ one day? I mean WHAT awesome display of raw power. I think he could KO anyone. Lesnar included.
Yes I do, even if he's not getting any younger.
Tuchsherer looks like the winner of a Gary Busey with moobies contest.
If Chuck Liddel can stay on his feet and knock out Randy so can James Toney. Styles make fights and Randy does better against other wrestlers, Im calling it now James Toney by knock out!
Fair enough, Jason. And it could happen. Hope it doesn't though.
Do you know what the odds were on Lesnar via tapout?
I believe it was 12-1 for either guy to win by submission.
Leben v. Belcher? C'mon man!! Sexyama beat Belcher. Get with it. Maybe you are just a sports guy....
On the scorecards that matter, Akiyama won. But every single fighter I've talked to scored it for Belcher. And Belcher responded well with a big win at UFC 113. Alan Belcher is a contender.
Say that to my face Cody!
I read a great article about an Anderson GSP fight. Does Dana read what the fans want or is GSP/Anderson negating it?
It's just tough logistically. St. Pierre is content at welterweight right now. There will come a right time for that fight. Just doesn't happen to be now. Both guys have been pretty inactive over the last 18 months or so. Wish they both would fight 3x/year. That would help expedite the process.
How seriously should we take Bobby Lashley?
He's serious about MMA. But he fights for a promotion that moves slowly.
Because of all the positive exposure Harris got, do you think he will now be scheduled to fight on main cards?
Gerald Harris was one of the night's biggest winners. And he looks like a completely different fighter than we saw on 'The Ultimate Fighter'. He's moving in the right direction, and should get some main-card love soon. That slam has been shown 50 times on ESPN.
Who's the number one P4P in the world right now?
If you thinks chuck liddells wrestling is the same as james toneys your kidding yourself!
Very true. Liddell was a college wrestler. But Toney's boxing is on a completely different level than Chuck's, even when Liddell was in his prime.
Dan Henderson, when will we see him fight again?
Definitely before the end of the year, and most likely against Renato 'Babalu' Sobral.
Um, Akiyama did not beat Belcher. Only 2 people on the planet believe that and they were the judges.
Whats next for Fedor?
Likely a rematch against Fabricio Werdum. That is M-1's focus right now.
UFC 118 is looking like one of the best cards of the year! Edgar/Penn 2, Couture/Toney, Florian/Maynard, Marquardt/Palhares, and Diaz/Davis...that's got MMA LIVE ALL OVER IT!
We will be there. I'm the first alternate in Kenny's corner.
You pick the winner Anderson Silva vs Brock lesnar
That is kinda fun to think about. Gimme Lesnar. Just tuck your chin and plow him down.
Will Hendo-Babalu be at light heavyweight, middleweight or Franklinweight?
Hahahaha. Not at 185. Likely 205.
No love for GSP? He's arguably faced tougher competition.
He's 1A. Ask me next week, and I might say GSP. No wrong answer, really.
How realistic is a GSP v Anderson Silva fight? If so, when do you think it will happen and who will win? I'm assuming that it would be a catch weight?
I think it has to happen before they retire. But one loss for either guy will make it difficult. When it happens, I expect it at 185, or a catch weight slightly below the middleweight limit.
Why weren't you guys live in Vegas covering 116?
Not sure. I was crying at home.
Would it be good for the sport to have one promotion? Honestly, it just feels like everything not UFC is like watching minor leaguers, what are your thoughts?
It may be beneficial for the sport and its ability to attract new fans. But it would be bad for the fighters. There are roughly 200 roster spots in the UFC. And many more fighters than that.
Did Dana load up the card for the hometown crowd? UFC 118 really does look incredible!
Absolutely. Dana White bleeds Boston. You knew he'd blow it out.
agree or disagree: Belcher has the worst tattoo on the planet
Perhaps. Honorable mention to the guy sitting next to me.
If Carwin had simply made Brock stand up, he would have finished him. I don't think he makes the same mistake twice.
Far easier said than done.
Anderson Silva needs to move up to 205. Agree?
Alright, men. Must run. Don't forget MMA Live tomorrow at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET on ESPN2. If I didn't get to your question, try me on Twitter (Jon_Anik). And don't forget to follow MMA Live as well (ESPN_MMALIVE). Until next week, eat fried food. But don't text and drive. -JA
