Hi everyone, let's get rolling. Remember, we go for 30 minutes during camp.

Robert (San Marcos, Tx)

Hey Bill, do you see the Broncos surprising people and making a run for the playoff?. From what I've heard they are looking good despite the recent injury plague

Bill Williamson
  (3:01 PM)

Denver feels good, but I still think they have a lot of work to do.

Hootie (San Diego, Ca)

Hi Bill,Has there been any confirmation on Merriman signing his tender?

Bill Williamson
  (3:02 PM)

Only be Merriman. That's a pretty good source, Hoot.

Charger Fan (SD)

The past couple seasons watching SD match up vs Oak. I was left with the opinion that the Raiders were one position away from being a dangerous team. Last year they looked good sans- Russell. I hate to say it but, I expect them to give the Chargers a run at the division title. Youa??ve been to both camps, from what you saw, whata??s your opinion?

Bill Williamson
  (3:04 PM)

Oakland should be betterm but the Charegrs are a more complete team as of right now. Wouldn't be shocked if the Raiders ended up beating SD in a game this year, though.

Tim (El Cajon, ca)

It would ALMOST be worth it to go to the Charger/Bears preseason game just to see Cutler come back against Rivers. Too bad it will only be for one series though probably. I am also a Vikings fan and hope that the Vikes learned like the Chargers did, keep Cutler in the pocket and he will throw up an INT more than when you let him out of the pocket.

Bill Williamson
  (3:04 PM)

That will add some fun in the first quarter.

Jason (Parker, CO)

So how did our new Add-ins for RB look? What do you think about both Fargas & White?

Bill Williamson
  (3:06 PM)

I think both of those guys are just injury insurance. Maybe one makes it and is a short-yardage guy.

Alvaro (Rosarito Beach)

Hey Bill... If Vincent Jackson does indeed holdout for the whole season, can he still get a long term deal from the Chargers next year???

Bill Williamson
  (3:07 PM)

Sitting out the season is Jackson's current plan. If he does, i don't see him playing another down with San Diego.

Ray (Utah)

When will the media admit getting rid of Cutler was the right move?

Bill Williamson
  (3:08 PM)

Why do you think that, Ray?

Deezy (Sparks, NV)

Richard Seymor is a man amongst boys, he was crushing the pocket last night. Do you think it was a good move putting him at DT?

Bill Williamson
  (3:08 PM)

He said this is natural spot. I think he is where he belongs.

Matt Williamson 2.0 (iowa)

Will any AFC West WR have over 90 receptions and 12 TDS?

Deezy (Sparks, NV)

What did you think about Lamarr Houston's performance last night? The kid might be the real deal.

Bill Williamson
  (3:10 PM)

The bets bet is Malcom Floyd, but he's really have come on strong.TO answer Houston question: It was a veyr nice start by him. He looked great.

Michael (Phoenix, AZ)

Who would you predict to take the AFC West Title this year?

Bill Williamson
  (3:10 PM)

San Diego.

Stephen (Va)

Campbell was a little bit shaky last night, but we know Al Davis' philosophy, pound it and throw deep. Campbell's fade balls looked on the money last night and if they were not, it was only a yard off. Do you think the Raiders young recieving core can step up?

Bill Williamson
  (3:11 PM)

Yes, the Raiders receivers should come along and help some this season. Last night was shaky, but there is pretty of hope.

Chad (Cape Coral, FL)

After watching the Raiders play the Cowgirls I was impressed with the starting defense. Especially the play of Lamar Houston. Do you think he will be the starting defensive end on opening day?

Bill Williamson
  (3:12 PM)

No doubt, Houston is a starter.

Matt Williamson 2.0 (iowa)

What would be great stats for Cassel this year? 3,500 yards passiong and 30 td's 10 int's?

Bill Williamson
  (3:12 PM)

Yeah, that would be pretty great.

Robert (Los Angeles )

i know its only pre season.... but was Shaughnessy and Houston success have to do with their abilitity to play the DE position or proves how affective strong DT's (Kelly, Seymour) can help free up DE?

Bill Williamson
  (3:13 PM)

It's a combo deal. That line has a chance to be very good.

Russ (Chicago)

True or false Bill. Chris Johnson will be the most picked on db this year? The Raider's D would be better if Nnamdi plays against the teams #1 receiver all game?

Bill Williamson
  (3:14 PM)

Who would you challenge, Nnamdi or Johnson? ... Yeah, me too.

Ray (Utah)

Cutler is not a winning QB or a leader. Will never lead the team to the championship.

Bill Williamson
  (3:14 PM)

We'll see, we'll see.

Craig G. (Fairfield, California)

Hey Bill, what do you see Dexter McCluster's role being with the Chiefs?

Bill Williamson
  (3:14 PM)

Receiver, running back, Wildcat man, returner. It's going to be fun to watch.

Bryan (Pittsburgh)

hey Bill, what do you predict the Broncos will be able to accomplish in the division?

Bill Williamson
  (3:17 PM)

I really don't expect much at this point. They are too banged up and too young.

Bill Williamson
  (3:18 PM)

Yeha, I read it Tyler from SA you seem like a cool guy ... Good luck with the rest of your fine life, tough guy.

Matt Williamson 2.0 (iowa)

Tyson Jackson led my Madden team with 3 sacks in his first game against the Chargers... will he do it in real life?

Scott (MN)

What are your expectations for Demaryius Thomas?

Bill Williamson
  (3:20 PM)

That was the best game of Jackson's life.To answer Thomas question: If Thomas can stay healthy, he could be a fine player very soon.

Danile (Redding Ca)

can the raiders win 9games this season

Bill Williamson
  (3:21 PM)

I think nine games would be a high ceiling. That would be a fine season in Oakland.

DReganJr (Bay Area)

Any chance Plaxico would be wearing Silver and Black once he is made available to teams? Gotta think he would be more appealing than TO, strange as that sounds...

Bill Williamson
  (3:22 PM)

I think that ship has sailed. Oakland is going to be OK with its young receivers.

Tony (SF)

Why does everyone hammer you relentlessly on your blog about the Tebow Watch? Isn't ESPN asking you to do that, or do you really have a man-crush on Tebow?

Bill Williamson
  (3:23 PM)

We have jobs to do, right?

Eric (Sun Diego)

Chargers are one and done in the playoffs again this season--Norv goes? Strong heat on A.J.?

Bill Williamson
  (3:24 PM)

if they go to the playoffs, both should be fine. But if they don't and Jackson and McNeill stay away all season, there could be trouble.

Kenneth (Costa Rica)

After the yesterday's Raiders good performance, what can we expect from our defense, specially the rookies Mcclain and Houston, considering that we've another veteran guys as Seymour,Kelly and Howard that can help them in their new spots? Is it possible to expect more from our team than last year_

Bill Williamson
  (3:24 PM)

It's a good start. if the pass rush and run stopping continues, good thigns could be in store.

Daniel (Redding Ca)

will Heywardbey catch 35 passes

Bill Williamson
  (3:25 PM)

That would be a very good second season for DHB.

Bryan (Pittsburgh)

Would it make more sense to play Brady Quinn until Tebow is ready? Why pick him up if he's going to get less snaps then Orton and Tebow? McD must see something he likes in him right?

Bill Williamson
  (3:26 PM)

No, Orton is a better playe. He cna help.

jimbo (Rolla, Mo.)

Who's your sleeper pick on both offensive & defensive player for the Chiefs this year.

Bill Williamson
  (3:26 PM)

How about Moeaki and Lokey.

Eric (Sun Diego)

Is Weddle a journeyman or a talent?

Bill Williamson
  (3:27 PM)

He's a solid player. Mcuh more than a journeyman.

Jef (KS)

It's been written that listing T.Jones atop the Chiefs depth chart is Haley's way of keeping JC motivated. My question is, why is he worried about motivating the team MVP and the only player in NFL history to eclipse 1000 yards with fewer than 200 carries. If the visor wearing pretty boy wants to motivate someone why doesn't he focus on his two $60 million DE who played like garbage last year.

Bill Williamson
  (3:27 PM)

Don't worry about it, Charles will get plenty of carries when the season starts.

Jake (Denver)

Is it safe to say that Alphonso Smith will be a bust? I heard Cox will take his nickel spot

Bill Williamson
  (3:28 PM)

Cox is way ahead of Smith. It's too early to call him a bust, but he may be on his way to JaMarcus Russell Avenue.

Dee760 (killeen, texas)

hey Bill, what do you think the chances are that the Bolts will make it out of january and head to the Superbowl this season?and, against whom?-Die hard fan, even through the Ryan Leaf era.

Bill Williamson
  (3:29 PM)

I think McNeill would have to come back for that to happen.

justin (raidernation)

who is the sleeper pick for offense and defense i would pick louis murphy and lamaar houston

Bill Williamson
  (3:29 PM)

Good ones, but I don't think anyone is sleeping on them, anymore.

Mike (Mission Viejo, Ca)

What did you think of the Raiders last night? Better or worse than you expected? 8-8 realistic this year?

Bill Williamson
  (3:30 PM)

Thee was good on defnese, bad on offense. But it's very, very early. Let's put it this way: I donb;t think the season in Okland is lost because of one bad game on offense.

Bill Williamson
  (3:32 PM)

Great session, folks. Take care and talk to you next Friday after my visit to Kansas City. Look forward to it.
