Chat with Ohm Youngmisuk

Ohm
  (12:04 PM)

Sorry guys, I had computer problems. I am in now, let's get this going!

Tom (CT)

The top three wideouts at this point in fantasy are terrell owens, hakeem nicks and brandon llyod... there is prob no one on the planet who could have predicted this. With that said, do you think the Giants have the best WR core in the league?

Steve (NY)

My main man OHM!!. Who do you think will be the Giants second half MVP?

Ohm
  (12:06 PM)

Tom... well, I drafted T.O. thinking he would have a great season with Palmer after what I saw in the preseason. I didn't think he'd be this good but I did think he would make a great WR2 or WR3. Also I think a lot of us expected Nicks to breakout this season once healthy. Brandon Lloyd has been a shocker. Do the Giants have the best WR core in the league? I don't think so. Not yet. But it's really, really good.

ESPN New York
  (12:06 PM)

Greeting Giants fans. Ohm is experiencing technical difficulties. He'll be here in a minute.

Ohm
  (12:07 PM)

Stevie... I just did my Giants mid-term report card. Funny that you ask. I think it will probably remain either Nicks or Perry Fewell. I love what Fewell has done with the defense and it is ranked #1 right now. If the defense continues that against better teams like Philly and Green Bay, that will be something.

Ian (Dallas)

Ohm, first thank you for your help last week!I have two questions for you:1. I have Shonn Greene should I keep him? Does he have any value moving forward? I have McFadden, Best and Jacobs as my other RB's. 2. Jay-Z vs. Biggie on Brooklyn's Finest and I Love the Dough. Who got who?

Ohm
  (12:10 PM)

Ian... I hoped I help. Can't remember what I told you but glad it helped. I would hold onto Greene unless you can get a good contributor in exchange for Greene. I think LT might start to fade and as the season goes on, Rex will rely more on the run. And Greene is fresh. But if you could get a good WR in return, you can trade him. Best is banged up. McFadden looks great but can be brittle. Jacobs doesn't get enough carries to be a major factor. As for Jay vs Biggie... I LOVE Jay. But Biggie is the greatest.

eli (woddmere new york)

do you think that the jets have the best shot in the afc if not than how far do you think they will go

Ohm
  (12:10 PM)

Eli... I think the Jets are very good. As far as coming out of the AFC... I think they still will have to stop Peyton when all is said and done. And I think they can do it. The offense scares me at times. Too inconsistent. That is what I think will stop the Jets... or the only thing that will. The offense has to be more consistent and stop with the dry spells. That comeback in Detroit will help Sanchez's confidence and development.

Patrick (NYC)

Ohm! You need to talk to some higher-up folks at ESPN and get some more Giants coverage. You were the only person who wrote anything on the Giants win on Sunday! The Giants Center should be renamed the "Ohm Youngmisuk Center!" You need a raise, my friend :)

Ohm
  (12:11 PM)

Patrick... thanks my man. It's all good. Giants looked pretty awesome on Sunday but that was expected. Seattle is a bad team despite its record at home, especially without Hasselbeck. And I don't think OHMcenter would fly with my editor. LOL. But good looking out.

Jc (Fort Myers, FL)

Ohm, with the amount of talent the Giants have why were people so down on them preseason. It surprised me then hearing 6-10/7-9 etc. Sometimes people see the stuff on the surface like how bad they played last year down the stretch and not see the talent. It also helps that Jerry Reese has built a much deeper team this year.

Ohm
  (12:14 PM)

JC... I think it was very hard for people to shake last season's bad taste out of their mouths. Also, there were a lot of question marks at linebacker with Goff being an unproven commodity. Nobody knew how Perry Fewell would do with his new cast. Was KP going to be healthy? How about the offensive line? Would Bradshaw be able to handle the workload and would he be healthy again? But depth has been a major key and will be with injuries creeping up on the Giants. I still feel we will see how good this team will be when they play better competition. They have been very nice so far but remember who they have played so far.

Jeremy (Rockland)

OHM my man!!! I know Coughlin is going to have the Giants prepped, but a banged up o-line and new coach in Dallas, I still think G-Men win but I think Dallas makes it closer than we all believe it will be. Your thoughts?

Ohm
  (12:15 PM)

J... wud up? I think the Garrett thing changes the outlook a tad. Whenever you have a coaching change and the owner is irate right now, the Cowboys have to come out and play harder than they did at Green Bay. Garrett remains an unknown. How will things look under him? There is a new DC now too. But I still expect the Giants to win. It will be tougher than people expect, is my guess.

ben (north shore)

yo u remember me? im in every chat (i was one who wanted to talk about draft)..... u think the giants have the most balanced offense in nfl with eli nicks smith manningham in passing game and bradhsaw running the ball?

Ohm
  (12:16 PM)

I do remember you Ben... asking me about next year's draft like in Week 2 or something crazy. LOL! Enjoy this season. Think about the draft in Feb. The Giants do have a very balanced offense. They could utilize the TE more but they have Boss block more. I don't know if it is the most balanced just yet. But at times, they have looked unstoppable. Let's see what happens when they play better teams.

Sammy (NY)

Are the Giants done for? The O-Line is depleted!

Ohm
  (12:18 PM)

Geez Sammy... where's the faith? They got some depth there. Shaun O'Hara might not be back this week. The Diehl loss, for however long it will be, hurts. Koets was a good backup but a backup. Boothe comes off PUP list and Beatty will be back in a few weeks. They can play Seubert at C, Boothe at G and Andrews at LT. This is where Andrews comes in as a valuable signing.

FA (DC)

It looks like we'll be able to withstand losing Diehl and Koets with Andrews stepping up and Kevin Boothe coming back from injury. if we get any more banged up up front, is Will Beatty ready to be plugged in on the line?

Ohm
  (12:20 PM)

FA... yup... Beatty could be back in a week or two. If Boothe doesn't look good at guard or center... or Petrus doesn't come in and do anything, the Giants have some added flexibility with Beatty.

Steve (Queens, NY)

Whats good Ohm.Im liking the fact that the GMMMMEENNN are 6-2. My only thing is that I think we haven't been tested to the point where we can say "Ok, these dudes are official".Do you sense any letup from what you can see or do you think that our boys in Blue are gonna continue to put on shows on Sundays?

Ohm
  (12:22 PM)

Steve, I had to tell numerous fans in the live game chat to have some perspective. Some dude wanted Goff to be in the Pro Bowl and I had to check him. The Giants' wins have come over opponents that have a combined 17-31 record. They have looked great and taken care of business which is what good teams do. But I really want to see them against Philly. That should be a great game.

David (NY)

How is Nicks looking this week? Any chance he misses the game?

Ohm
  (12:22 PM)

Coughlin said he should be ok. Nicks said same thing after the game. We will see him on Wednesday but we don't get to watch much of practice at all. Keep it locked here on the blog and on Twitter @NotoriousOHM for updates tomororw.

Ryan (Va Beach)

Ohm, Do you see the Giants looking to sign a veteran OL, say like Kevin Mawae to sure up the front line for the remainder of the year/playoffs?

Ohm
  (12:23 PM)

Ryan, I wouldn't run anything by Jerry Reese. He has his eyes on free agents all the time. But I think they will see how Boothe does and how Beatty recovers.

Neil (West Point, NY)

Do you think the Giants can overcome the losses on the OL of Adam Koets & David Diehl?

Ohm
  (12:24 PM)

Neil... remains to be seen. I think they can. Hopefully Diehl is only out for a few weeks and not a seriously long time. Until then, they got Andrews, Boothe coming off PUP, Petrus and Beatty on his way back for depth. And they signed Jamon Meredith not too long ago.

Chris Martin (Maryland)

How come Jonothan Goff isn't getting any credit? EVERYONE said that MLB was going to be a problem position. I haven't seen any problems at that position so far. When is he going to get a column?

Ohm
  (12:26 PM)

Chris... haven't you been asking me for a Goff column for weeks? I wrote about him in the mid-term report card out later today. And we'll try to get something up on Goff soon. Jane McManus wrote this about him earlier in the season though: http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/columns/story?columnist=mcmanus_jane&id=5520885

Scott (Brooklyn)

Is Ohara going to play Sunday? If not, will Petrus start at Guard or Booth?

Ohm
  (12:27 PM)

Scott... not sure about O'Hara. My guess is he will be out another week. IF so... could be Boothe at guard or center. Petrus a possibility.

Joe (Flushing, NY)

With the injuries to the Giants O-line, do the giants bring back guy whimper? Or are there any other options they would consider?

Ohm
  (12:28 PM)

Joe... good name. I think the Jags signed Guy a week ago though. Jerry Reese could be looking at options out there but I think the guys I have mentioned earlier will be people they plug in rather than get somebody off the street.

Michael (Queens)

There seem to be a growing concensus that there will be trouble regarding the giants o-line injuries. What people seem to forget is that they will be getting Shawn O'Hara, Will Beatty, and Kevin Boothe back soon. Shawn Andrews also seems to be fitting in nicely, so isn't it safe to assume they can hold the fort down until Diehl is healed?

Ohm
  (12:29 PM)

Mike... I have been saying that for the last few answers... so I agree for now. Let's see how they do against Dallas.

EFRAIN (NEW YORK)

DO YOU THINK THE GIANTS CAN KEEP THEIR CURRENT PACE OF WINNING OR GET COMPLACENT AND COME CRASHING DOWN??

Ohm
  (12:31 PM)

I THINK THE GIANTS CAN KEEP WINNING IF THEY CAN REMAIN HEALTHY AND KEEP THE TURNOVERS DOWN. THE QUESTION IS CAN THEY KEEP WINNING AGAINST BETTER COMPETITION. I THINK BY THE TIME THEY FACE PHILADELPHIA, THEY WILL BE FEELING EVEN BETTER ABOUT THEMSELVES. COMPLACENCY WILL BE A CONCERN WHEN JACKSONVILLE COMES TO TOWN. GIANTS CAN'T GET COMPLACENT.

jared (bristol,ct)

with the cowboys coming in and a coaching change what do u see the outcome being on sunday

Ohm
  (12:31 PM)

Jared... I think the Giants still win but it will be a tough one. I don't think the Cowboys are laying down. And I don't think it will be as high scoring as the last game in Dallas.

John (Jersey)

Ohm hope all is good with you. The giants are looking good and a big part of there success is the Oline. With Diehl going down and Ohara being hurt where will they go for help ? The line i think still looks solid with Andrews,Boothe,Seubert,Snee and Mckenzie. But can they click and keep the season going ? Rushing attack is good protecting Eli great. But we have some tough games left can we keep the streak alive ? Thanx Ohm

Ohm
  (12:33 PM)

John... the streak won't last forever. Even if they lost to Dallas this week, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Remember, teams rarely get blown out consecutively in the NFL. Especially after a coaching change. I expect Dallas to play the Giants tougher. But if all goes according to plan and Giants take care of business, they should go into Philly with a winning streak intact.

Ken (Jamaica, NY)

Whaddup Ohm! So sorry to hear about David Diehl and Adam Koets. How will the O-Line be assembled? Whaat about Shawn O'hara's status? And who is best to replace Diehl when he's out?

Ohm
  (12:36 PM)

Wow. A lot of you cats are panicking over the offensive line. And I am not downplaying it. It is a concern. Just want to get most of your questions in, even if it sounds repetitive. But let's see how they do this week first before panic sets in. LOL. The Giants have done a good job so far without O'Hara. Seubert can handle center duties. Coughlin also says Snee and Boothe have taken snaps at center as well. At least they got Andrews to man LT and he can always slide to G but I think Giants wnat to keep him at T.

mitch (MA)

Do you think the fact that the giants have played lower tier teams in their last few games is the biggest reason for their recent win streak? Or do you think that this hot streak will last through the playoffs when they have to play much better teams.

Ohm
  (12:38 PM)

Mitch... I think they have shined against bad teams... yes. But I also think they are building something with this streak. Chemistry is outstanding. Trust and belief is rising. I always tell people, the Giants are never as good as they look and they are never as bad as they appear either. So take the way they have looked with a grain of salt. But with that being said, Manning and Nicks are forming a nice combo now and when they face better defenses, it will serve them well. They will struggle at times in the second half. These next two games will tell us a lot. A Dallas team with a new coach breathing life into it and then at Philly which could help decide NFC East.

Max (NYC)

Ok, so Mr. Bill Simmons brought this point up in his podcast:Game 1: Win over Carolina, who has no QBGame 2: Loss to ColtsGame 3: Loss to TitantsGame 4: Win over Bears, who's O-Line was in shamblesGame 5: Win over Texans, who are underachieving/not that goodGame 6: Win over Boys, who were in process of implodingGame 7: Win over Seahawks... charlie whitehurst?Have the Giants really played and won a challenging game yet?

Ohm
  (12:41 PM)

Max... I had to tell some of the Giants fans that in the live chat during the game. Think about it... they have beaten Carolina with 1 win. Dallas has 1 win. Detroit has 2 wins but is improved. Houston has yet to take that next step. Chicago is not as good as a 5-3 team indicates. And Seattle was awful. But with all that being said, Giants took care of business. The Eagles game will say a lot about how good the Giants are.

Malcolm (Brooklyn)

Ohm, where are you? Mosley is kicking your butt right now in chatland.

Ohm
  (12:42 PM)

Malcolm... I can't hang with Mr. Mosley. He's the man.

Matt (Bronx)

With O'Hara, Diehl, and now Koets injured indefinitely, who will fill the spot as center for the Gmen? Also, will the necessary O-line shifts cause issues against the strong pass rush that Eli will probably be facing against an angry Cowboy's defense?

Ohm
  (12:42 PM)

Matt... my guess. Seubert at C, Boothe or Petrus at G and Andrews at LT. Better protect Eli. If he goes down, say goodbye to the season.

Craig (Jersey)

Hey Ohm, How do you rank the receivers in the East? I got Nicks, Jackson, Austin, Smith, Dez, Moss, Maclin, Manningham

Ohm
  (12:43 PM)

Craig... pretty good. I'd say right now... Nicks, Jackson, Austin are top-3 no matter how bad Austin's numbers have been lately. With Romo, he might be putting up better numbers. Nicks has been pretty awesome as of late. And can get better.

Jake, Adam, and rafi (School in New York)

Hi ohm big fans class is boring so we are chatting with you my big question is what do you think of Kevin boot he's ability to step in at lg the one thing the cowboys do have is a solid front 7, do you think booths cam handle the task?

Ohm
  (12:46 PM)

Jake, Adam and Rafi... dudes, I hope you guys don't get in trouble. How are you chatting during class? Awesome! The Giants kept Boothe pretty much the entire offseason and half a season for this. He is versatile and even when he tore his pectoral back in the spring, they kept him. That says how much they like him. Now his versatility will be needed. TC says he has taken snaps at center as well. Remember, they liked the rookie Petrus during rookie camp. And Beatty will be back soon as well.

Benny (New York, NY)

Ohm, love the blog brudda!! With the giants OL suddenly lacking some depth (Though that andrews pick up looks genius now) what do you think we can expect to see out of them against the Boys this weekend. Id like to see Mitch Petrus get some snaps at guard, he was a converted TE at Arkansas and is great at getting to the second level and finishing his blocks. What do you think?

Ohm
  (12:47 PM)

Benny... thanks man. I'd like to see what Petrus can do. The coaching staff hasn't said a ton about him in recent weeks but of course, there was no need to. Eli mentioned him on Monday during a radio interview as he rattled off names to offset the injuries. I know the Giants liked his nasty demeanor on the field when they drafted him and like his potential. They are big on versatile offensive linemen.

Orlando (NJ)

Ohm, love your chats! You relate to the around the way guy, I like that. Do you think the Giants can have over 5 or more probowlers on this team? Also, I am scared of Vick and the Eagles!!!

Ohm
  (12:49 PM)

Orlando... I have spent my entire life looking for an Around the Way girl... with the Bobby Brown button on too! LOL. The way the Giants are going now... yeah, I can see five Pro Bowlers at least. And if I were a Giants fan, I'd be SCURRED of Vick and the Eagles too. But I think the Giants will split with Philadelphia.

Zack (Rumson)

Ohm, great job covering the g-men this year. The pick-up of andrews is paying dividends now, do you see him being at all an upgrade at left tackle, and whats the scoop on mitch petrus he seems like a fiery player?

Ohm
  (12:50 PM)

Z... thanks man. I think the Andrews pickup was big. If he can stay healthy, he should be fine. I think this is his chance. The Giants want to see what he can do at LT and there is plenty of incentives in his contract for him to lock that job down.

Sammy (NY)

Should the Giants be scared of Vick and the Eagles?

Ohm
  (12:51 PM)

Yes Sammy... but don't panic kid. Hold it together alright? LOL.

Mike (Danbury, CT)

Kick in the door waving the 4-4 all I heard was Poppa dont hit me no more! How worried should we be about the rash of O-Line injuries?

Ohm
  (12:52 PM)

Mikey... be concerned but don't panic yet. Let's see how good the depth is. So far, the Giants have been able to survive all their injuries. I am sure nobody had that much faith in Koets when O'Hara went down earlier. Let's see what these other dudes can do.

Vinnie (Columbus, OH)

Ohm's Law!! Nice job on MSG last Sunday. Ware looked good in mop up duty in Seattle. Granted the Seahawks were a beaten down bunch but I say give him 5 or 6 touches a game. Also what's with the starting skill players still on the field up 35-0. When Nicks when down I almost had a stroke.

Ohm
  (12:54 PM)

Thanks Vinnie... that was a lot of fun. Ware did look good. That drive ate up 13 minutes!!!! But you are right, Seattle was whipped by that point. I am slightly surprised that we haven't seen much Ware up to that point. The Giants coaches kept saying how they wanted to mimic what New Orleans did last year with three running backs and then Ware got hurt and it was just Bradshaw and Jacobs. But I am a proponent of giving more carries to Jacobs, to wear down defenses. So that leaves little for Ware.

Jim (Boston)

Any news on O'Hara's availability this week?

Ohm
  (12:55 PM)

Jim, Coughlin provided no new update. Today is an off day. Check the website tomorrow, blog and @NotoriousOHM on twitter. Thanks.

Neil (West Point, NY)

Ohm, Neil here again. I'll be at the Giants/Cowboys game this weekend. I'll be going with my girlfriend who is a Cowboys fan, lol. She has had a rough season but she gets no sympathy from me; she knew what she was getting into the night we met; I was all decked out in Giants gear!

Ohm
  (12:56 PM)

Neil... LOL!!!! Now that is a love story I would like to hear? How did you guys meet and how are game days between you two? I had a girlfriend who went to University of Michigan and I went to Michigan State and whenever they played, it was pretty bad. We could barely watch the games together. And when Michigan won the national championship in 97, I couldn't stand being around her. LOL. Needless to say, we aren't together anymore. Haha.

Ohm
  (12:57 PM)

Anybody else have stories like that? Dating an Eagles or Redskins fan? LOL.

Jim (Boston)

Why wouldn't they start Petrus over Boothe? Boothe has been out a long time?

Ohm
  (12:58 PM)

Jim... Boothe has been practicing for a while, like last two weeks. You are allowed to practice for three weeks off PUP before being brought off. I do wonder if they think Petrus is ready. We will find out this week.

Ian ( The Adirondacks)

Ohm, do you think despite the injury troubles at the moment the G-MEN have what it takes to go into Philly in 2 weeks and take them down in their house. Its hands down the most hostile environment in football and possibly all of sports. I learned the hard way, wearing a blue shockey jersey in a sea of green to the playoff game there a few years back. bad idea!

Ohm
  (1:00 PM)

Ian... you are a brave man, going in three with not only a Giants jersey but a Shockey one!!!! Even when the sked came out in April and Kolb was an unknown and considered the starter and people were down on Philly, I still had that game pegged as a really hard one for the Giants to win. Their win over Indy shouldn't be taken lightly. They will bring the heat on the Giants and Eli. Hopefully the offensive line will be intact by that game. It is going to be a great test. I can't wait to see these next two games.

Jc (Fort Myers, FL)

Again with the better teams thing Ohm. If the Pats can lose to the Browns that's proof that anyone can beat anyone in this league and the Giants haven't been just beating teams they have been killing um.

Ohm
  (1:01 PM)

JC... so by your theory then... Dallas can beat the Giants on Sunday... The Giants have definitely taken care of business, which is something a good team does. But before we send them to the Super Bowl, let's keep in perspective the records of the teams they have beaten. That's all I am saying.

Brandon Jacobs (NYG)

When am I going to get credit, I believe I have been running better for a couple of weeks and doing what I need to do to help the team win? btw my running mate is turning out to be one of the best in the conference

Ohm
  (1:02 PM)

Brandon... I love when you truck people. And you did that on Sunday against Seattle. You are running harder every week. And Bradshaw is third in the NFL in rushing.

Justin (NY, NY)

With last weeks romp over the Seahawks, it looks as though Manning and the offense is playing at that higher level. What scares me is the habit that the Giants have of dropping into the prevent defense only to allow big play after big play to give up large leads. They almost did this a few weeks ago against Dallas in the 41-35 win. Do you think that the Giants have gotten out of this pattern of giving up large leads late in games or will they be going back to the same old bumblin' G-men?

Ohm
  (1:03 PM)

Justin... I know what you are saying... you are scared of the second-half meltdown. I think this team will avoid that if it can stay healthy. That comeback a few weeks ago, it was natural for the Giants to let their guard down up so big. I worry about the depth at cornerback. Not much there. You should hope this team stays healthy.

Ryan (Germantown, MD)

What's up Ohm? Who do you think is the unsung hero for the Giants?

Ohm
  (1:04 PM)

Wud up R... hmm... I would nominate Deon Grant and Bear Pascoe right now.

O line is fine (its ok)

Ohm, am I the only Giants fan that is not panicing about the O-line? We have ridiculous depth this season and people need to realize this. Now for my question, Ohm what do you think the Giants do about Cofield this off-season?

Ohm
  (1:05 PM)

LOL. Nice. Cofield has been terrific. I don't think they will overpay for him. If Cofield gets a good deal elsewhere, I can see the Giants plugging in Linval Joseph. But I love Cofield. He is a leader in the locker room as well. Well-respected and loved. I just don't think they will break the bank. Remember, they nearly traded him to New Orleans.

mike (ny)

i wanna hear your opinion on Petrus. The kid started out as a TE at ARK and can pull and get to the second level as good as anyone coming out of college. Fits perfect in the run game just wondering your opinion on him, id like to give the kid a shot, I think hes a future star for us

Ohm
  (1:06 PM)

Mike... I hear ya... tough for a rookie to come in and make an impact. But I heard great things about him back in rookie camp about how nasty he is on the field. Would be nice to see a bit more of him in action on the field. But considering how Coughlin went with a more experienced line on Sunday, he may want Boothe in there.

mark (jordan)

ohm, any chance of upset with jason garrett being the coach this week, maybe some pride for new coach?

Ohm
  (1:07 PM)

Mark... yes, there is a chance of an upset. Would it really surprise you to see the Cowboys make a last stand with a new coach and make things real tough on the Giants on Sunday? Offensive line now a question? But I think the Giants will win.

Justin (NY, NY)

What do you think is cause for the Giants turn around this season? They opened up looking like the Giants of last year, but now they look like the Super Bowl Champs of '07. What was the catalyst that has brought them to this point?

Ohm
  (1:09 PM)

Numerous things. They saw how they could have beaten Tennessee had they not beaten themselves. When they crushed Chicago, they kept it rolling. Beating Houston in Houston was a nice win even if the Texans aren't ready to take that next step yet. And they have taken advantage of their schedule and built chemistry and belief. They have more depth this season and more veteran leadership. Rolle and Grant provide swagger and communication to the defense and Perry Fewell has been as good as advertised.

Bruce (nj)

Will Eli ever get the credit he now deserves. He looks so comfortable in the pocket and so good with most decisions. What will it take for him to be ranked in the top echelon of quarterbacks..Another super bowl??

Ohm
  (1:10 PM)

Eli does get overlooked at times because people look at the interceptions and see inconsistency. Another Super Bowl would silence the critics forever.

Chris (North Jersey)

Do you think this Giants team could go 12-4 or better from what we have seen?

Ohm
  (1:11 PM)

Chris... 12-4... whew. Possible but very tough though with road games at Philly, Minnesota, Green Bay and Washington.

Devon (DC)

I absolutely hate the iggles, Ohm. In 08 I knew we'd lose to them in the playoffs and boom they did. Now I have a sick feeling that the iggles once again are going to derail the Giants season and/or postseason. How do you see the iggles/giants matchup?

Ohm
  (1:13 PM)

Devon... it is possible again this season. I watched the highlights of the game on Sunday. Vick is throwing better than he ever has. He has a much better grasp of being a QB than ever before. I watched a ton of his games in Atlanta. He used to get by on pure athleticism. Now he is a QB. But Giants are terrific against the run and have gap discipline. It will be very interesting. I think they split. Comes down to who does better against Washington and rest of games.

Zeke (Philly)

OHM, I am a giants fan in Philly. The way the NFC is shaping up I think the Gmen have a serious chance of getting to the Superbowl Especially if they get home field throught. Am I crazy?

Ohm
  (1:14 PM)

Zeke... not really. But that's a long ways from now. Got to stay healthy. Home field helps. Definitely don't want to be going to New Orleans or Green Bay again. But rest of NFC is helping the Giants out. Beware of Philly.

Ezra (New York)

Realistically can we rely on O'hara and Diehl to be effective at any point this season. I see either of them coming back as a bonus and not as something that I am expecting

Ohm
  (1:14 PM)

I think Diehl can help if he gets rest. O'Hara sounds like he could be dealing with nagging injuries all season.

Dave (Sacramento, CA)

Ohm- What do you think will be different about the cowboys this go around with Garrett now in control?

Ohm
  (1:15 PM)

Dave... I expect the Cowboys offense to look sharper since that is his expertise. Defensively, they can't be any worse. I just expect the Cowboys to play harder this time around.

juan castillo (eagles OL coach) (philly)

depending on shaun andrews for your success this season???? good luck with that!

Ohm
  (1:16 PM)

Hey Juan... I wouldn't say they are depending on Shaun Andrews. But I do think he will help. And if he gets injured, they have to hope Beatty will be healthy.

Ohm
  (1:16 PM)

*Shawn.

Teo (York, Pa.)

why is ramses barden not used that much in the offense. Same with travis beckum.

Ohm
  (1:17 PM)

Teo... Ramses can't get on the field much when they don't use four wide that much. And when they go three wide, it's Manningham. Beckum doesn't block as well and Bear Pascoe is now serving as FB and out there a bunch with Boss.

Dan (Mt. Kisco)

Just who do you think you are, buddy?

Ohm
  (1:17 PM)

I'm Ohm. Who are you? LOL.

John (Long Island)

Ohm, I think the reason that us Giant fans are concerned about the O-Line even with capable backups returning is because the protection of Eli has been one of the biggest reasons this current streak exists. Coming into the Dallas game on Sunday, wouldn't you agree that if the Giants were to lose this game, it would be the Cowboys pass rush that does it? We've seen Eli torch the Cowboys secondary already this year, however his O-Line had a few different members. Do you worry at all that the 3-4 D will confuse a newcomer such as Boothe or Petrus?

I completely hear you John. I am not downplaying the significance of the injuries to the O-line. But there are some of you guys who are in panic mode already. Let's see how the depth does. I am in total agreement though, if Eli gets hurt, season is over. Dallas' pass rush is formidable. Protect Eli and shred that secondary. Bear Pascoe will help and they use an extra OL as TE-eligible as well.

Thank You.

You are welcome sir...

Do you think Perry Fewell will have a good strategy against Vick and the Eagles?

Ken... can't wait to see what he does. I think you will see plenty of gaps being filled.

Neil (West Point, NY)

Ohm, we met through a cousin of mine but he never told me that she was a Cowboys fan, lol. Sundays are rough for us but we survive, lol.

Nice... That is a good story Neil. Good luck to both of you on Sunday. And be nice to her. Tough season this year. You already knocked out Romo for her. LOL.

Justin (NY, NY)

Thanks for answering my Q Ohm! Keep up the great work! I agree, Giants haven't had depth with the d-backs in years. The deep ball is always a threat, especially when they get a comfortable lead. But if the D-line keeps playing the way they are and taking out quarterbacks, it won't matter who we have back there.

Justin... thanks dude. The three safeties have been so key for them this year. And the coverage helps with the sacks as well. One negative to Sunday was that Giants got little pressure on Whitehurst until late.

Snooki (Jersey Shore)

Been busy all day Ohm, but just needed to drop by and tell you that you're my favorite :-)
