Bill Williamson
  (2:02 PM)

Let's get rolling

dan (denver)

what are your thoughts on Larry Fitz sportin' the powder blue next fall

Bill Williamson
  (2:03 PM)

What the Chargers aren't powerful at all.

rick m. (cardiff by the sea)

Which game are you going to this sunday?

Bill Williamson
  (2:05 PM)

I'll be at the Monday game in San Diego.

Bill Williamson
  (2:05 PM)

I'll be at the Monday game in San Diego.

Jimmy (Branson)

Huge chiefs fan Bill and I wasn't happy with the Cassel over Thigpen decision. They put up very similar numbers in 08 and Thigpen did it without an all-star cast. Now he's got his shot in Miami. Will KC regret letting him go instead of keeping him (atleast as a backup)?

Bill Williamson
  (2:10 PM)

I liked Thigpen too, but there was no way the new regime was going to keep him. They were going to bring in their own guy. Plus, I don't think Cassel is so bad.

Jake (Denver)

Can the Broncos upset the Chargers this week?

Bill Williamson
  (2:11 PM)

They must stop the pass if they have any chance.

RaiderFan (Oakland)

I believe its gonna be another hardfought close game this weekend. With a healthy Zack Miller and a not so healthy Steelers Pass D can Oakland pull off the upset

Bill Williamson
  (2:12 PM)

Sure why not. The key will be Oakland keeping Pittbsurgh's scoring down.

Trevor (NY)

I'm a die hard Broncos fan. I'm not by any means a Tebow hater, but I am a very much an Orton supporter. I think he deserves a chance to be the QB of the future. I know he's supposed to be starting in Denver through next year, but everyone is always saying that Tebow will take over after that. But with Orton's production this year, especially the Kansas City game, why is there no chance for Orton to be our permanant qb?

Bill Williamson
  (2:14 PM)

I'm with you. Orton is the guy. He is the reason why Denver isn't 0-9.

Phil (Springfield, OH)

I think the game in Pittsburgh is huge this Sunday. A win would be great in terms of a 4 game win streak and momentum, but it would also get the 5 win monkey off their back that they've been carrying for 7yrs. Your thoughts?

Bill Williamson
  (2:16 PM)

Prediciton: If the Raiders win Sunday, they are going to the playoffs. It's that simple. If they lose, they can still make it, but if Oakland beats Pittsburgh, it will be rolling.

Wes (Denver)

Do you think that the Broncos have a good chance to upset the Chargers on Monday Night Fottball.

Bill Williamson
  (2:17 PM)

I don't know if it is a good chance, but if the Chargers make mistakes on special teams (count on it) and turn rhe ball over, the Broncos will be in this game.

Daryl (Fresno)

Wouldn't it be smart for the Chargers to hold Mathews out until he can heal the ankle? Patchwork games aren't going to do the team any good.

Bill Williamson
  (2:20 PM)

It's starting to look that way. He just can't get completely healthy. If sititng him for a game or two the only answer, then San Diego should do it.

Chris (Amarillo, TX)

If Denver beats San Diego on Monday, do you think they can make a run at the division? I think this is the toughest game left on the schedule (no offense to Oakland and KC).

Bill Williamson
  (2:22 PM)

They'll be in the conversation then for sure.

Ed (Downey)

What are the keys to victory for the Raiders on Sunday?

Bill Williamson
  (2:23 PM)

Pressuring Roethlisbeger.Creatign turnovers.Brekaing a t least one big play on offense.

Jeff (Denver)

Can Josh McDaniels turn the Broncos into a respectable team by the end of this year?

Bill Williamson
  (2:24 PM)

He has seven games tom do it. If Denver wins four of the final seven games and finishes 7-9, that would be decent considering the 2-6 start.

Carl (Manhattan, KS)

When do you think Ayers will be back for the Broncos?

Bill Williamson
  (2:24 PM)

He might be back this week.

rick m. (cardiff by the sea)

What has happened to the chiefs? Why the loses after they looked so strong?

Bill Williamson
  (2:28 PM)

Well, the only bad game Kansas City had was the loss at Denver. Otherwise, KC has competed very well.

Dain (KC)

Hey Bill do you think the Chiefs made a mistake resigning Chris Chambers since he has a history of quitting once he gets paid and do you think he's done that this year?

Bill Williamson
  (2:30 PM)

No, it wasn't a mistake because he played well last year and when he was re-signed, the Chiefs din't have many better options.

Donald (Hollywood)

How likely do you think it is for the Chargers to win the AFC West and maybe even run the table?

Bill Williamson
  (2:32 PM)

I don't know if it's likely for any tema to win seven in a row (it would be nine total for the Chargers). But they've proven it in the past that they get hot late.

Carlos (Los Angeles)

Is Pittsburgh's O-Line that bad or is New Englands D-line that good, because if Pitts O-line plays like that again then I like my Raiders chances assuming the D-line plays as well as it has these past few weeks

Bill Williamson
  (2:34 PM)

The Steelers are banged up opn the line, so Oakland's defensive front, which has been playing very well, has a chance to create some havoc.

Scott (Los Angeles)

Big fan of the blog Bill. Was wondering if you think the Raiders will go back to Gradkowski if they lose on Sunday in Pittsburgh? They pulled off a huge upset last year in Pittsburgh with a far less talented team.

Bill Williamson
  (2:37 PM)

Thanks, Scott ... If Campbell is really bad, in any start and if Oakland losses, I epxect Gradkowski to get another shot. I think this is a show-me posiiton in Oakland for both QBs.

Jenny (KC)

Do you the specifics of Todd Haley's beef with McDaniels? Was the hit on Moeaki a cheap shot? Any fines?

Bill Williamson
  (2:38 PM)

The truth has not come out, but yes, Moeaki did take a head shot late and he didn't practice Wednesday, which means he may not be able to play Sunday. We'll find out about fines Friday.

BJ (Indiana)

Which former AFC West QB do you think wins tonight?

Bill Williamson
  (2:41 PM)

Miami. Why not?

Chris (Amarillo, TX)

Why did Todd Haley get a pass for his pitiful display of sportsmanship simply because "he's an emotional guy". If Josh McDaniels had done that to Tom Cable after Oakland drubbed Denver the media (yourself included) would have ripped him apart.

Bill Williamson
  (2:42 PM)

Would I?

Greg (Denver)

Moreno looked like a beast this past week against KC. Now that he's healthy and running strong, do you think he's about to become the back that made McDaniels draft him 12th overall?

Bill Williamson
  (2:43 PM)

Well, it was one good week. Let's see what he can do in San Diego. The key is if the Denver O-lne can keep it the good blocking.

rick m. (cardiff by the sea)

I think Micheal bush should run the ball early and often against the steelers, then run darren mcfadden once the defense is tired.

Bill Williamson
  (2:44 PM)

Not a bad plan.

Mike (Ohio)

Are we going to have a Chaz sighting this weekend in Pitt? Is it just me or has the legendary, mysterious Chaz's abilities grow with every week he misses? Has the myth exceeded the man?

Bill Williamson
  (2:47 PM)

It still may be awhile. I understand your point. Chaz is a talented guy, but he has limited experience. Still, if he gets healthy. He has a chance to become a good player.

rick m. (cardiff by the sea)

Are the Raiders magical? I watch their games and they don't do anything. Then when the game is on the line, they find a way to make the big play. Agree?

Bill Williamson
  (2:51 PM)

They do seem to make the right play at the right time, don't they?

Alex (Carlsbad)

Is this the best Seymour has ever played? He seems absolutely dominant this season and i never got to see him play in NE.

Bill Williamson
  (2:52 PM)

This is a possible HOF player. He's had a great career. But he has been playing at a very high level in recent weeks.

Colin (West virginia)

If the chargers make the playoffs how far do you see them going? And do you see Rivers as the MVP?

Bill Williamson
  (2:54 PM)

If San Diego makes the playoffs, it will likely be because Rivers led them and I do think he will end up the MVP if that's the case.

Tony (Memphis, TN)

What chances do you give to the Broncos re-signing Champ Bailey? The defensive backs are one of the few strengths of this defense, and this would decimate the D both on and off the field.

Bill Williamson
  (2:55 PM)

The Broncos took their offer off the table at the last minute earlier in the season and that was upsetting to Bailey's side. I know Dnever wants him, but it's getting close to the deadline. If Bailey reaches free agency, I epxect him to go elsewhere.

Derrick (San Diego)

Was Darren Sproles worth 7mil franchise Tag??

Bill Williamson
  (2:56 PM)

It's not lookign like it right now. He is a good player, but he is a role guy.

Andy (MN)

Cable coach of the yr material if the Raiders sniff the playoffs?

Bill Williamson
  (2:57 PM)

Without a doubt.

Bill (NJ)

DMac had a good game against seattle, 2nd ranked rush defense, do you think he can do it against the steelers, number 1?

Bill Williamson
  (2:58 PM)

It's possible but not just because he did well aginst Seatle. The Seahawks' run defense is nowhere near Pittsburgh's run defense.

David (LA)

What are the chances Gates and Matthews play on Monday?

Bill Williamson
  (3:00 PM)

Gates sid he's 50-50. Mathews is still feeling the ankle injury. So, there's a real chance they don't play. But I'm I wouldn't not be shock if Gates found his way on the field.

Bill Williamson
  (3:01 PM)

Great hour folks, enjoy Week 11. BTW, no chat on Thanksgiving. Happy Holidays and talk to you in two weeks.
