Chat with Ed Hinton

Ed Hinton
  (2:00 PM)

Good afternoon, all. We seem to have The Big One of complaints about NASCAR, all piled up on the start. So I'm going to do something different. I'm going to post all the complaints, and then give one answer.

Ed Hinton
  (2:00 PM)

here goes

Logan (Park City, UT)

Mr. Hinton, we heard Ray Dunlap say that Waltrip had a 30 HP advantge with his spoiler laying down flat. my question: why didn't NASCAR black flag him an radio that they stopped timing him as soon as Waltrip released the cable to drop down the spoiler?

Ed Hinton
  (2:00 PM)

one

Jen (NJ)

Hi Ed, with Waltrip's history of cheating at Daytona with the jet fuel or substance in the manifold, why did NASCAR let him get away with such blatant cheating in the truck race?

Ed Hinton
  (2:01 PM)

two

Nate (Tyler, TX)

Hi Mr. Hinton, I read that Sadler asked Waltrip where the switch was to drop that spoiler during the truck race. Was it a switch or more likely a cable? and why didn't NASCAR catch that during pre-race inspection?

Ed Hinton
  (2:01 PM)

three

Melanie (Troy, Ohio)

Hi Ed, were you as offended as I was with the disgraceful way Waltrip tried to take ownership of the 10th anniversary and how he cheated to win a truck race just to get more camera time to self promote?

Ed Hinton
  (2:01 PM)

four

Jake (Irving, TX)

Hey Ed, Why would NASCAR allow their credibility to be damanged by allowing Waltrip to win with a cheater truck just so he could cry on tv to promote his book? Why didn't they black flag him?

Ed Hinton
  (2:02 PM)

five . . .and now in another area

Glenn (Louisiana)

Your boys at NASCAR were inconsistent at best on their rulings concerning restarts during Sunday's Daytona 520. A review of various videos show that on more than one occasion, drivers, including Gordon, Jr., and Newman, improved their position or changed lanes before crossing the start/finish line. Roush appears to have a legitimate beef about the ruling against Ragan on the final restart. The powers at NASCAR seem to listen to you, so tell them to get their act together.

Ed Hinton
  (2:04 PM)

OK, NASCAR. You heard my NASCAR Nation. And you seem to listen to me. So get your act together, and that's final. After 36 years of ordering you to get your act together, this is it. The big one.

Scott D. (South Boston, VA)

I am a huge Wood Brothers fan, have been since Dale Jarrett. But as far as Trevor Bayne, I've been watching this kid since he was with MWR. And after Sunday, I believe he has what it takes to be a star in Nascar. He has the demeanor of a veteran. How do you think he will help the Wood Brothers Racing get back to their glory days? They need to hold on to this kid as long as they can.

Ed Hinton
  (2:05 PM)

You must be fairly young, remembering only back to Jarrett. How 'bout Pearson? I don't know if TB could ever get them back to the '73 season, when the Woods and Pearson entered 18 races and won 11. How long they hold onto him depends . . . if the shows slam-dunk promise, Ford could eventually move him to, say, Roush.

Gus (NY)

During yesterday's chat, Blount said he did not expect Hamlin to react negatively to being back in Phoenix, after what happened in the fall. Do you agree?

Ed Hinton
  (2:06 PM)

I do.

Greg (champaign, il.)

I am seeing nothing from the media regarding additional sponsorship coming on board for Bayne's 21 ride. Do you know of anything in the works able to keep him in the seat for a full season? Are you getting wind of anything that looks promising?

Ed Hinton
  (2:07 PM)

Don't think we've seen anything yet. There may be private inquiries to Eddie and Len Wood that we don't know about yet. And, corporations may wait and see what they do at Phoenix, on a non-plate track.

Ed Hinton
  (2:07 PM)

RAYGORDONREID ( PRESCOTT AZ 86303)

QUESTION TO ED HINTON AT 2,15 GREETINGS ED WHO DO YOU HAVE FOR PHOENIX SUNDAY

Ed Hinton
  (2:07 PM)

How bout Happy?

Matt (Rochester, NY)

Waltrip did not cheat!! SERIOUSLY? The wing freakin' snapped in two! Where are you people from. What planet do you people come from? Get a stinkin' grip people! Yeah he flipped the "snap wing in two switch so he could cheat to win....Ridiculous. I am not even a Mikey fan, but get a life people!

Ed Hinton
  (2:07 PM)

Matt for the Defense.

longtimeracefan (Kentucky)

Ed, What a kaboom start for NASCAR in 2011. Did you enjoy the type of racing we saw at Daytona? Now if only Danica could pull off a Trevor type race in the next few weeks . . .

Ed Hinton
  (2:09 PM)

I did like the tango stuff. it was something different. don't know why so many complained just to be complaining. a danica win in the next few weeks is unlikely, but she is getting better and better.

David (Florida)

Ed, your an honest man. Please give me a heartfelt honest assessment on why nobody gives Clint Bowyer the credit he deserves (look at his weekend at Daytona) and please don't mention last years penalty. Is it because he only has four wins?

Ed Hinton
  (2:09 PM)

I think that's common with anyone who runs well consistently but wins only occasionally. We don't do big stories about who ran well. we do them about who won.

Eric (Tampa, FL)

Hey Ed, my complaint isn't with Nascar, but JR Motorsports. Why didn't they have Danica practicing 2 car drafts with Aric Almirola? It's as if they didn't expect her to qualify that well, then race that well in the first 25 laps to be in a position to draft with Bowyer. I feel like they undercut her chance at a top 10 on Saturday at Daytona, thoughts?

Ed Hinton
  (2:11 PM)

I wondered the same thing, watching her practice. Maybe they were doing qualifying runs and that's why she qualified so well. But I noticed Tony Jr. left her out there alone too much. DW noticed it too. Then when time came for her to two-car draft, nobody wanted to go with her for a long time.

Turk (Mich.)

Do you agree with Jack Roush, that NASCAR would never have thrown the black flag on the leader, like they did David Ragan, if it had been Dale Jr or Stewart or Gordon leading the race?

Ed Hinton
  (2:11 PM)

That looked pretty blatant to me. I mean, 6 was well across and settled into the other lane by the time they got to the line.

Rob (Colorado Springs)

Ed, glad to see you're still stirring the pot with the latest Bayne article. I honestly think that JJ's problem is not a lack of personallity, but a lack of competition. No one else has experienced a run of dominance like this before, seems like the other drivers just hand him the cup each year.

Ed Hinton
  (2:12 PM)

I just know the NASCAR public, and know they like a few flaws in their heroes.

Darrell (Petal, MS)

Ed, I know you're a Ole Miss guy but what do you think of Jack Crisital hanging it up after 58 yrs in the booth for Miss State. He was surely one of a kind. My favorite quote was when he said the "Sonic Drive of the Game" was going to be his drive home to Tupelo after a loss. I am going to miss is voice on Saturdays during the fall.

Ed Hinton
  (2:14 PM)

First, it astounds me that Jack Cristil was still in the booth! I thought he was long into retirement. Congrats to him for that kind of longevity. I always loved his voice. One of the last great ones in the SEC. But as you can imagine, over here in the eastern part of the South were I live (NC, GA, my son in Ala.,) not too many stations are on the State network.

Steve (RI)

How does Ray Gordon Reid Travel through time? He asks his questions at 2.15 and you answered him at 2:07?

Ed Hinton
  (2:14 PM)

Raygordon works in mysterious ways, all right.

Greg (NY)

Do you see Ragan surviving at Roush. Is Bayne next in line or Martin back to his old #6??

Ed Hinton
  (2:15 PM)

I would suspect Bayne is the likeliest candidate. I've thought Ragan was on thin ice for a while now, although Jack seems to like him.

Marc (Malden, MA)

I know how Trevor Bayne could be popular...date every famous female, in her 20s. Start with Scarlet Johannson.

Ed Hinton
  (2:15 PM)

I think she's a little old and worldly for Trevor.

Craig G. (Fairfield, California)

Hi Ed. Which team do you think will have the most overall success this season? Maybe Roush-Fenway since they seem to have figured out the new engine?

Ed Hinton
  (2:16 PM)

RFR sure looked strong on a plate track out of the gate. They're at their best on unrestricted tracks, so I'd say, yes, they look the best so far.

Marc (NY)

Hi Ed, as a journalist, do you get more satisfaction from being recognized by colleagues like Mr. Busbee, "when Ed Hinton, perhaps the finest NASCAR journalist still working" or by the number of Dale Jr. questions you get?

Ed Hinton
  (2:17 PM)

Why, the Dale Jr. questions, of course. I don't like them but I've become addicted to them. I've got a 100-question-a-day habit and can't shake it.

Ray (CT)

Do you think Waltrip should just retire already or only race in the lower 2 series? He spun out Ky Busch trying to go 3 wide, and then spun out Reut and 1/4 of the field trying the same thing again. When interviewed he said he didnt really know what he was doing out there. By comparison Bayne constantly lifted rather than create a bad situation and kept his car clean all day on route to winning. And by the way it was his first 500.

Ed Hinton
  (2:18 PM)

I've said for years that Michael is a far better businessman and spokesman than a driver, and that he should get out of the cars/trucks, sit down behind a desk, and stay there. He'll do great there.

Larry (OK)

Is the reason Dale Jr is so much better at iRacing than real racing because he spends so much more time on iRacing than real racing?

Ed Hinton
  (2:18 PM)

Now that just might be it. Maybe you've hit the singular cause of JR's problems.

Shredd (Buffalo, NY)

Hey Ed,I have a group in ESPN's Stock Car Challenge. We want to know if there are any drivers in this weeks Sprint Cup race that will not be eligible for Sprint Cup Points. Would also like your sleeper pick for Phoenix. Thanks!

Ed Hinton
  (2:19 PM)

Just look at any entry list, like the one we link to on our nascar homepage through jayski. go down the list, and you'll see all ineligible drivers marked with nascar's new code on the entry list, which is, for example . . . trevor bayne (i) the (i) is the code.

Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)

When will Danica Patrick race in her very first Sprint Cup Race?

Ed Hinton
  (2:20 PM)

My guess is Phoenix fall at the earliest.

Kevin (Texas)

The Ford team seems really stout with the new Fr9 engine, and I personally think the Chevy teams could be at a real disadvantage this year. Will HMS, RCR and others have to design a new engine soon or is there anything they can do to boost up power and torch with the one they race now?

Ed Hinton
  (2:21 PM)

Fords are strong, but so is RCR. They just had engine failures at Daytona. They'll diagnose the problem, and then the RCR and all ECR-engine supplied cars will be plenty strong again. Maybe as early as this week.

Emily (NJ)

Ed, I usually don't believe in spooky coincidences...but Trevor had extra help in winning that race. He had, in my opinion, the best retro paint job ever on his car and the Silver Fox himself was there that morning. How cool was that?

Ed Hinton
  (2:22 PM)

I think the Woods knew when they did the paint scheme that they'd have a competitive car. I think Ford, Roush, et al., had pitched in enough that they knew "21" was going to be on camera a lot.

longtimeracefan (Kentucky)

Ed, care to opine on the cheering in the Daytona press box/media center debate?

Ed Hinton
  (2:24 PM)

Didn't know there was one. I was in the upstairs press box, and there was no cheering. Can't speak for the infield. Heard there was cheering there, but can't prove it. I will say this: as far as general noise, shouting, laughter, cheering mock or real, the NASCAR infield media centers have become the most unprofessional in sports, in my opinion. AP, Charlotte Observer and even NASCAR PR staff guffaw and holler at their leisure.

Bobby (Midland Park Nj )

Ed Trevors win reminded me of the 2002 500 when 3/4's of the field was out of the race.

Ed Hinton
  (2:25 PM)

Now don't throw the "he didn't beat anybody" excuse out there. The big boys all had their chances and blew them. trevor found his way through.

Dave (Dallas, Tx)

With all of the safety innovations since the death of Dale Earnhardt, have we seen the last driver death in Nascar?

Ed Hinton
  (2:26 PM)

The safety experts say fatalities are still possible, though I'd now say highly unlikely. There's always some kind of freak wreck we haven't anticipated.

Jon (Cali)

Is Pearson like Cale in that they only show up at NASCAR events if the monie$ are right?

Ed Hinton
  (2:27 PM)

Pearson shows up a little more for pleasure now. But both of those guys are very well off because they didn't do things for free, and invested well.

Rey Gordoni (Universal Studios)

Do you think NASCAR will hold RCR's feet to the fire all season for the way Boyer and Childress were so publicly critical of the NASCAR penalty and appeals process

Ed Hinton
  (2:27 PM)

Na. Childress had deep ties to NASCAR. They won't mess with him much.

Vinnie (ATL)

Is Trevor as likable as he comes across on camera?

Ed Hinton
  (2:29 PM)

Every bit. And more, actually. I noticed in a conversation with him, one on one, at the media tour in January that he really has his feet on the ground, has amazing confidence and poise without coming across as cocky at all.

Tyler (Snohomish,Wa)

What will Mark Martin do after the season, retire? Or try on another team?

Ed Hinton
  (2:29 PM)

Oh, he'll be around somewhere. He may not even know himself yet.

Bobby (Midland Park Nj )

Ed what is your opinion on the up coming track changes at Phoenix

Ed Hinton
  (2:30 PM)

Generally speaking I thought Phoenix was just fine the way it was. Something different. That said, we'll see how the new configuration turns out. But i'd rather they'd left it alone.

Ed (Fort Worth)

Interesting article today, Hinton. I think something else at play is the coprorate sponsor...by and large it seems that they are the ones that one squeaky clean drivers to pitch their brand. Few excpetions anymore seem to be Kyle and Kevin. Kind of a shame to see in my opinion.

Ed Hinton
  (2:31 PM)

At first glance Trevor is a sponsor's dream. But when you think about how corporations play not to lose, don't want to offend anybody, you wonder if some would go for a guy who is so open and firm about his faith.

Emily (NJ)

Ed, has Trevor taken Logano's spot as the best young star? I think Trevor has more upside.

Ed Hinton
  (2:32 PM)

Trevor has completely bypassed the "potential" stuff in which Logano is mired.

Ed Hinton
  (2:32 PM)

Trevor has completely bypassed the "potential" stuff in which Logano is mired.

Taylor K (Columbia SC)

Mr. Hinton,I am a teenage race fan, I am 15 years old. On thing I find is there are less and less young race fans. What do you think NASCAR could do to catch the attention of the younger fans such as myself?

Ed Hinton
  (2:33 PM)

Only thing I can think of is, outlaw video games. That's what has seemed to take young fans away. On the other hand, my son, age 23, is now completely over video games and into live TV sports such as NFL, MLB, college football . . .

Jeremy (Port Angeles, WA)

What did you think of Danica performance in the nationwide series race?

Ed Hinton
  (2:34 PM)

I think she did really well, considering that Tony Jr. had given her little or no help with tango drafting. She tried, but nobody wanted to go with her. Finally people could push her, and she could handle it, but she never could quite push anybody else. I think her team let her down, big time.

Bobby (midland park nj)

Ed does the 24 break the streak this week

Ed Hinton
  (2:35 PM)

We'll say it like we've said it for 60 or 70 race weekends now: maybe.

Rob (Colorado Springs)

I thought Phoenix was just a repave, are they doing more?

Ed Hinton
  (2:35 PM)

I thought they'd increased the banking a little. Hope not.

Dan (Midland, TX)

Hi Ed, fuel injection in '12 will eliminate carb restrictor plates so how will NASCAR "de-tune" the motors for Daytona and Dega?

Ed Hinton
  (2:36 PM)

Nope. There'll still be plates. This is port fuel injection, so there's still a throttle body at the base of where the carb used to be. They can and will put a plate over the throttle body, for the foreseeable future. they'll work to eliminate the plate later.

Grease My Lugnuts (Florence, AZ)

Ed, how good do you think Regan Smith would be in top tier equipment.....The guy almost never knocks the fence down and has pretty consistent finishes for a lower tier program

Ed Hinton
  (2:37 PM)

Very good, especially on plate tracks. Trouble is finding a seat for him.

Teri (Burbank)

When is the 17 going to win again?

Ed Hinton
  (2:38 PM)

Probably on an intermediate track by about midseason.

Kevin ( Tx)

I think Carl Edwards is a serious contender for the Sprint Cup, but I think he is wasting his time running every Nationwide race. Sure, he should race when the series are on the same track, but him going back and forth when the series race at different tracks is going ruin his focus.

Ed Hinton
  (2:38 PM)

I agree. I don't think it's good for him.

Matt (NY)

I am sure that Dale Jr. spends more time playing vids than real racing (OK). You could not last 3 seconds in his shoes dude. Hey Ed, Idea. Get Dale Jr's weekly schedule one week and post on your chat and we can see just how much "free" time the dude has! I am sure he has a ton of built in "video game" time. Again, are you people's parents brother and sister or what? He has 18 cup wins and shootout, twin, all-star wins. He really stinks horribly! PLEASE!

Ed Hinton
  (2:39 PM)

Junior Nation, equal time, this chat's policy.

Teri (Burbank)

Tevor's parents truly have bragging rights. What an awesome kid!

Ed Hinton
  (2:40 PM)

They have the rights, and they are exercising them.

Greg (champaign, il.)

Bill Elliott suddenly shifted from driving a Ford on sundays to driving a Chevrolet. And now I hear his son is signed with Hendrick. Bill and someone important in the Ford camp had to get onto it, right?

Ed Hinton
  (2:41 PM)

Get onto it? Don't know what you mean. If "get into it," no. Bill's ties to Ford are long, but fading. Bill had to do what he had to do, for himself and with Chase.

Jon (Cali)

Were there FR (Ford Racing) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 engines?

Ed Hinton
  (2:42 PM)

remember hearing back to 7. had to be before that. 9 has just been most publicized, because they had the most ground to make up.

Bobby (Midland Park Nj )

Ed I was rooting for Trevor once the 24 was done

Ed Hinton
  (2:42 PM)

Does that tell us where Trevor's demographics will come from?

Rob F (Hoboken, NJ)

I'm happy to see the WBs back in victory lane, but isn't it a little premature to crown the latest lottery winner a star? As for NASCAR Nation's issues with JJ, it's not that he's a great racer (you can't deny it), it's just that folks who watched in the Winston era and before feel he's a lucky dog champion. I read an article a week or so ago speculating Big E wouldn't have been for The Chase because he felt consistency mattered. What do you think his view would've likely been?

Ed Hinton
  (2:44 PM)

A wise man I know said that if Senior had lived to compete in the Chase, and had won just one, then nobody would have ever questioned the chase, including senior.i agree.

Paul (NJ)

Was Waltrip crying because he released Trevor Bayne last year?

Ed Hinton
  (2:44 PM)

maybe.

Billy (Alabama)

What do you think of JPM's chances this year? He seems more comfortable now to me. Not sure he would have overcome those spins (great saves by the way) in the past.

Ed Hinton
  (2:45 PM)

i think he has a chance to win a couple on intermediate tracks, and at indy, and maybe to make the chase. he's definitely settled into this.

mike (az)

Hey Ed, do you think kenseth is in for a revival season with an old school guy calling the shots, great horsepower, and all the media attention and expectations on Edwards?

Ed Hinton
  (2:45 PM)

kenseth might win a couple but doubt it'll be revival class. all the attention focused on edwards is warranted, as we shall see . . .

Scott (Winter Park, FL)

Do you expect the momemtum Kurt-5th-and Rowdy-8th-gained at Daytona will carry over into chase berths?

Ed Hinton
  (2:46 PM)

daytona has virtually nothing to do with the chase, except that you want to avoid a bad start at daytona. from that standpoint, they got out of daytona and therefore have good shots at the chase.

Rhonda (Virginia Beach, VA)

Didn't those guys like Gordon, Dale jr, Labonte, Stewart sure look and sound old next to Trevor Bayne?

Ed Hinton
  (2:47 PM)

heck, those guys sound old next to Trevor's PARENTS, Rocky and Stephanie.

IglooNATION (KCMO)

This may be a dumb question, but why do you feel Jr is so polarizing to fans? People either love him intently or hate him hardcore.

Ed Hinton
  (2:48 PM)

That seems to be a function of NASCAR fans, not the driver. Senior polarized the fans. Richard Petty polarized the fans.

Submarine Mike (Jax Fl)

Ed, How well do you think the Letart/Jr paring is working based on Daytona. i know it's not a lot, but I was at every race but trucks and listened to everything. Seemed to work well

Ed Hinton
  (2:48 PM)

I think Junior believes in Letarte. which is 90 percent of the battle.

Phil (Richmond, Va.)

Maybe Bayne could get Chick-fil-A as a sponsor. I also think he might be squeaky clean, but seems as genuine as they come, not becuase he is worrying about anything corporate. I'm ok with squeaky genuine, not squeaky corporate.

Ed Hinton
  (2:49 PM)

Yeah, but would Chick-fil-A agree to sponsor on Sundays if they're not open on Sundays? Many years ago, in the old late model sportsman series (now Nationwide), they had "the preacher's car," owned by a preacher who wouldn't race on Sunday so went to the Saturday series.

Larry (MI)

Ed, I am not saying Bayne does not have a bright future but I honestly see him running in the 20-30 range for the rest of the season except for Dayton and Dega. What do you think?

Ed Hinton
  (2:50 PM)

you mean 20-30 finishes? nah, i think you'll see him in some top 10s, maybe a win or two even on unrestricted tracks.

Teri (Burbank)

I could see Trevor in the Ben & Jerry's ice cream car! He seems like an ice-cream kind of guy.

Ed Hinton
  (2:50 PM)

Ben and Jerry are pretty liberal. Think that would fit?

Greg (champaign, il.)

Sorry Ed I'll clarify what i meant by "get into it." I am suggesting an arguement took place between the powers that be at Ford Motorsports and Bill Elliott. His son tore the SLM ranks up last year with 13 victories in a Ford. I am sure they did not need Mr. Hendrick's support to repeat or surpass that this year. The switch happened suddenly. It looks suspicious to me is all I am saying.

Ed Hinton
  (2:52 PM)

Ford has always been slow on the uptake about young drivers. That probably was the case this time. Just like Ford's Michael Kranefuss was slow to develop Jeff Gordon, then was surprised and ticked when Hendrick signed Jeff.

Frankie (Bayview, TX)

With the all the drivers stepping up their games with exercise, diet, etc. and Dale Jr. staying the same doesn't that put him further behind the 8 ball?

Ed Hinton
  (2:53 PM)

If he is indeed staying the same, yes, it does. Remember when Johnson as Jr. at Daytona if he wanted to go for a run and Jr. said no?

Frankie (Bayview, TX)

Why don't you guys write anything about Jeffrey Earnhart or Bobby Dale Earnyhart to take the pressure off old Dale Jr?

Ed Hinton
  (2:53 PM)

When they do something, we will. As a general rule we don't do minor league stuff.

Brian (Seattle)

Shouldn't a top-5 finish in the Daytona 500 get you some postrace airtime? I understand the race ran long, but David Gilliland (when is the last time he got any airtime at all) and Bobby Labonte got snubbed in my view. Those guys and their sponsors should be rewarded for their finishes.

Ed Hinton
  (2:54 PM)

I think that has to do with how much air time the network has left . . and that depends on how close the race comes to the top or bottom of the hour. no slight of the drivers, just business practice.

Marc (Malden, MA)

Scarlet is only 26.

Marc (Charlotte)

Scarlet Johannson is 26. Are you some sort of ageist?

Ed Hinton
  (2:55 PM)

yeah, but she's been around a few more laps than Trevor.

Larry (MI)

In regards to my comments on Bayne, I just think people need to be cautious about what happened last weekend. While winning the 500 is prestigious it does not mean we are looking at the next great driver. Let's just see what happens over the next 4 weeks.

Ed Hinton
  (2:55 PM)

Good point.

Brian (Seattle)

Regan Smith had one of the fastest cars during SpeedWeeks. Even though he was in that late wreck he still came back and got a top-10. Will we see some improvement from him and that team this year or will his success be limited to Daytona and Talladega?

Ed Hinton
  (2:56 PM)

Hard to tell. Plate tracks mean the best foot forward for a lot of teams. But that team sure looked improved. We'll see.

Josh (Tennessee)

How come Trevor Bayne is not on the points standings for the Sprint Cup?

Ed Hinton
  (2:58 PM)

Because in preseason, he declared to collect points in Nationwide and is therefore ineligible in Cup. It's the same rule NASCAR used to prevent Cup guys collecting Nationwide points. It cuts both ways. You "check the box" for one series, and Trevor picked Nationwide.

Liz (Sunrise, FL)

Do you think the NASCAR media will ever do a "Dale Jr Free month" where his name isn't mentioned?

Ed Hinton
  (2:58 PM)

Uh . . .no.

Liz (Sunrise, FL)

You think Bobby Labonte will earn another top 10 this year?

Ed Hinton
  (2:59 PM)

I think so. That team looked mighty good Sunday, and they're capable of transferring it from plate to unrestricted tracks.

Ed Hinton
  (3:00 PM)

Well, we're out of time, folks. Thanks to all for stopping by.
