Hey everybody, this is Cameron Jordan. Follow me on Twitter @camjordan97
What is the oddest question a team has asked you in an interview?
That would probably be whether I'm a cat or a dog. I went about answering it as: I'm a dog. I'm loyal and friendly, but you have to respect me.
Unless you get picked up by the Raiders of Niners, you're going to have to say bye to that good Berkeley food. What're you going to miss most about Cal?
What am I not going to miss about Cal? I love Cal, and I've had a great three and a half years there. From food, to the relationships that I've had, to the team that I love. It was a great experience, and hopefully I'll have a greater one in the NFL.
A lot of football players get lost in the technical aspects. Why is football still fun for you?
Because at the end of the day, you still get to hit somebody.
hi cameron, im already a big fan of yours after seeing some highlights of your career at cal. i am a big new england patriots fan, do have any hopes of being drafted by any particular team or know of any team that might pick you? hopefully the patriots! good luck tp youduring the draft!
In terms of any team that picks me up, I'm just glad of being picked up by a team. Just the aspect of being drafted keeps you even more motivated.
who do you resemble your game around most?
Growing up, I always watched the Minnesota Vikings because my dad played for them. I grew up with the likes of John Randall and Chris Doleman. I don't have Randall's spin move, but I think I have Doleman's quick steps.
Any thoughts about lining up at tight end like your dad?
No. My dad was a phenomenal tight end. It's not my cup of tea. Possible in a goal line situation, though!
how much work is the draft process? is it at all tiring or stressful?
Neither tiring nor stressful. It's a process you have to go to. I feel honored that I can go through this process, being that there were hundreds or thousands of kids who had a dream to be in the NFL. I actually get to live it.
How many pull-ups can you do?
I don't think I've ever maxed out in pull-ups. Straight, somewhere around 28 to 30.
Would you rather be a starter on a under 500 team or a backup on a over 500 team?
I see myself in competing, so if that lands me in a starting position, then that's where I'll be. If not, I'll be fighting for that starting position. I don't think I'll be in a backup role for too long.
Cameron Do you pay any attention to were you will go in the draft?
Sidenote: Tyler is a great name, 'cause it's my middle name.
Not really. Just recently I started to get into the whole mock draft mania. It's such a grand movement--everyone has their own ideas of where people will go.
Do you think you would have ever been able to cover your dad?
Definitely. My dad was 260 pounds as a tight end at his heaviest. I heard he was pretty fast, which only intrigues me more because I love going against tight ends. They're like baby offensive linemen. It's like going to get half-caf coffee.
I appreciate the questions. Thanks for tuning in. Follow me on Twitter @camjordan97.
