Chat with Eric Karabell

Eric Karabell
  (3:00 PM)

Hello all and welcome to the latest fantasy sports chat session. I am Eric and the goal is to have some fun and answer as many questions as I can in an hour. Thanks for showing up, here we go...

Jordan (Peoria)

Trading Stanton for King Felix is a no brainer right?

Eric Karabell
  (3:01 PM)

Um, yeah. Though I do think Stanton can hit 30 home runs this season, Felix is one of the top 5 starting pitchers.

Douglas (Pittsburgh, PA)

Eric, with Minnesota in the tank when does Capps get traded and Nathan re-inserted as the closer? Does Capps even need to be traded for this to happen?

Eric Karabell
  (3:02 PM)

I bet if Nathan hadn't struggled on Monday that the change would have already taken place. Capps isn't special. I would think the Twins would entertain trade thoughts, but the truth is Nathan could be back closing this week. Really, it helps the Twins trade negotiations if other teams think Capps is a good closer... which he isn't.

Greg (Virginia)

Better pick-up for short-term success? Andrew Oliver or Josh Outman

Eric Karabell
  (3:03 PM)

I'll say Outman; with a name like that, how can he go wrong? You just don't want Balfour closing for him. Outman was successful in 2009, before the Tommy John surgery, and while he struggled in Triple-A this season, he looked good Monday. I'm buying, though not in 10-team leagues yet.

Andy (New York)

Who should I drop first: Delmon Young or Jose Tabata. I like Tabata because I can keep him at great value next year. Worth it? 10-team mixed 6x6 OPS K/9

Eric Karabell
  (3:04 PM)

I would try to keep both of them. Delmon will hit. He has always hit. Sometimes he doesn't hit for much power, but he did last season, and he always hits for average. And Tabata is good, a 30-steal guy. Even in 10-team, own both. If choosing, I go Tabata.

In Need of Reinforcements (Struggling)

Any updates on Brandon Belt and Brett Lawrie, Eric?

Eric Karabell
  (3:05 PM)

Oddly enough no updates from SF on Belt; he is hitting great in the minors, but then again, the Giants have Cody Ross hitting well enough, and Burrell is useful, and they don't appear willing to sit struggling Huff. I bet Belt is at Fresno a while longer. (Watch, he comes up tomorrow). Lawrie could actually be up any day. His bat will play, and he can't be worse at 3B than Edwin Encarnacion.

Tom (NYC)

Thinking of Picking up Minor for a couple of starts....thought?

Eric Karabell
  (3:06 PM)

Look at how Julio Teheran, who I think is the better prospect, performed in his spot starts, for my thoughts. It's risky.

Alex (NYC)

Gordon Beckham showing signs of life lately...just the start of his turnaround, or use it to sell him to someone else?

Eric Karabell
  (3:07 PM)

Always possible he's going to hit at any point, but I still think he's not going to be like the rookie version anytime soon, not with this walk rate. A lot of people just whiffed on Beckham, and he has to turn things around for longer than a week or two.

Andy (New York)

I am looking to add juicy succulent prospects. When do you predict Mike Moose-Talk-Us, Mike Trout, or Desmond Jennings will be up and are they worth a look (10 team mixed 6x6 OPS K/9)

Eric Karabell
  (3:08 PM)

I don't think Trout is up until September. The Angels can't sit/trade Hunter, Abreu or V.Wells, and Bourjos is an elite CF, even if he doesn't hit. Trout is what, 19? Jennings is first up, probably in 2 weeks or so, when the financial implications make sense for TB. Moustakas has some work to do; I think August for him.

Nick (College Park)

Better saves option for the season, Aaron Crow or Kenley Jansen?

Eric Karabell
  (3:09 PM)

Jansen sure didn't help himself on Monday, but he could easily get the next chance and the next 15. I don't see Crow getting any chances, really.

Gene (Baltimore)

Good day EK! Alot of adds for Collmenter, me included, knowing the train will only go so far. When do you see his stock go down and for now spot start ,or jump ship to avoid the pain? Thanks

Eric Karabell
  (3:10 PM)

One of these outings Collmenter is gonna go 5 innings and allow 10 hits. He just cannot sustain this, IMO. Not a K guy, and in general hitters do figure out awkward windups. Use him now but realize the league will get to him soon.

Dave (College Park)

Which of the following Mike Adams Season Scenarios is the likeliest: Adams is the closer in San Diego post-All Star break; Adams is the set-up man in San Diego post-All Star break; Adams is a set-up man somewhere else post-All Star break?

Eric Karabell
  (3:11 PM)

I really don't see much changing here. I do not think Heath Bell is moved. I think Adams has a better shot, but he would likely set up wherever he goes. He's unproven as a closer. Regardless, I rank him as a top-10 middle reliever (non-closer), so enjoy the numbers.

Ben (Boston)

Hey EK, heard your thoughts on Asdrubal, glad i took him in the 24th rd. If i have him and Elvis, should i try to deal one?

Eric Karabell
  (3:13 PM)

Andrus is what he is, a basestealer that should score runs. Surely Asdrubal has more immediate upside, since he thinks he's Tulowitzki power wise. If you're dealing one, the sell high is Cabrera, no question. But why deal one?

Pujuls Owner (Fantasyland)

Hey Eric. This time last year Pujols had 8 homers, just like this year. Why is everyone so panicked about his power?

Eric Karabell
  (3:14 PM)

Beats me. Because fantasy owners love to panic? They can't avoid complaining? Really, I'm not being sarcastic. Pujols, Hanley, most studs will be fine.

Brad (Atlanta)

Ogando has been incredible but his xFIP and babip suggest a course correction is upcoming. Is now the time to trade or do I wait it out a little longer. Will he be on an innings/pitch count limit?

Eric Karabell
  (3:15 PM)

I agree he is unlikely to sustain this, so be careful in one-year leagues. I'd sell high, especially coming off that shutout. I just don't know how he can be expected to pitch more than 175 innings, but stranger things have happened I suppose. I have not heard of any limits, but I assume they are in play.

Brian (NY)

Jim Thome hits __ HRs ROS?

Eric Karabell
  (3:15 PM)

Let's say 19. Thome always hits for power, not sure why people ever worry about him. I think he has like literally a third of the Twins home runs at Target Field. Perhaps the Twins need better power hitters to hit there? Thome can do it.

Matt (Ann Arbor)

Can Asdrubal be the 2010 HOF year of CarGo?

Eric Karabell
  (3:16 PM)

It would be stunning, of course, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised. I just don't think Cabrera can sustain his fly ball rates, and he doesn't have the benefit of Coors Field like CarGo, but would 25 HR be that shocking? To me, no.

Sal (NY)

Drop Dempster and Liriano for Colon and Norris? Need k's.

Eric Karabell
  (3:17 PM)

No and no. Dempster is going to be fine, and Liriano appears to have turned the corner. Bud still scares me some.

Brian (NY)

Can Lohse keep this up?

Eric Karabell
  (3:18 PM)

If I say no I'm avoiding the clear change in his rate stats, proving he's a different pitcher. The question really is can Lohse continue to pound the lower half of the strike zone... I'll hedge some. I don't see a sub-3.00 ERA, but he is worth having.

Jet (IL)

Afternoon Eric. Is it time to trade Adam Dunn or do I tough it out.

Eric Karabell
  (3:18 PM)

I don't see how you can get proper value for a guy hitting under his weight. And Dunn isn't a light guy, but still, he's got a ways to go. I don't want to panic, but can he still hit his normal 38-40 home runs? I have to say he hits around 29-31. Gotta hold him until he has value.

Phil (Reading, PA)

You should have told me you were coming to CBP last night, I'd have bought you a cold one. Anyway, in my 14-team roto keeper, should I use #1 waiver on Trumbo to fill in for LaRoche or hold on for one of Lawrie/Ackley/Jennings? Go Phils.

Eric Karabell
  (3:20 PM)

Yeah, how could I have forgotten to mention that? I did say it on the Baseball Today podcast. What a night. Finally, some runs! And the standing ovations for Utley were fun. And it was dollar dog night! Hot dogs always taste better when they are cheaper, and your team is winning. Anyway, Trumbo has pop, but might hit .250. That scares me. I'd wait. Jennings could be an elite basestealer right away.

Max (Lansdale PA) [via mobile]

I was offered Butler and Kershaw for Fielder and Haren. Should I pull the trigger?

Eric Karabell
  (3:20 PM)

Hmmm, I'd say I would prefer the Fielder-Haren side, actually. Kershaw's bullpen evens things up there, and Haren is terrific. Real innings eater. And Fielder vs. Butler isn't close. Maybe 36 homers vs. 18.

Jared (Chicago)

How do you like Eric Hinske and Joe Mather for the next few weeks? Any long term value?

Eric Karabell
  (3:21 PM)

Not a Mather fan at all. I would not add him, even for a week or two. Hinske can hit. He's legit. And he will play. I added Hinske on an NL-only team and in my really deep league.

Rob (State College)

EK - How much of an upgrade is Rollins over Desmond? I have another manager trying to sell me on the virtues of JRoll over Desmond, but I'm not convinced he's that much of a step up that I want to work too hard to trade for him. Thanks!

Eric Karabell
  (3:22 PM)

In terms of steals, I'd go Desmond. And JRoll is not a power hitter, despite Monday. The big difference here is batting average. I do think Desmond is a potential problem there... but overall, if I have Rollins 6 or 7 at SS, Desmond is 9 to 11. Closer than most think.

Kevin (Charlotte)

When do you start trading for category needs? I have Dunn and seem to be doing ok in HR and RBI even with how bad he has been, but I am last in average. I can trade him for Ichiro to help ou in average. Too early to make that move?

Eric Karabell
  (3:23 PM)

Prior to the season I would have rather drafted/owned Ichiro, so yes, I make that move right away. Can't believe someone would take Dunn there. He should get better, but Ichiro is about as safe as there is in batting average, and he runs.

Chris (SC)

Eric how do you feel about the Narveson start tonight? Nats lineup shouldnt scare anyone right?

Eric Karabell
  (3:24 PM)

You know as soon as you typed that, the world order adjusted and now Narveson will get lit up. Ok, I don't think that way in general. It's not a great lineup, but I have Narveson in a few places and I use him for all outings, except maybe at Coors.

Mitch (NY)

Are you starting Worley tonight?

Eric Karabell
  (3:25 PM)

Big fan of that fellow actually. Yes, I would. Not a top-75 SP yet for standard leagues, but so far he has done nothing wrong in the bigs. His hit rate will normalize, but he doesn't walk people, he has a future as a No. 3-4 starter.

Josh (Hartford)

I'm surprised that Colon and Danks are both on the waiver wire in my fairly deep league (all the more crazy). Who would you rather have?

Eric Karabell
  (3:26 PM)

Danks is still safer, and really, his 0-7 record is not indicative of how he has pitched. He did fine Monday. Colon looks good, but I'd choose Danks. Don't assume the "run support" angle here... Colon can give up runs. And we don't know when his magic shoulder could wear out.

Mitch (NYC)

Can you please help me out. Would you trade Ian Kennedy for Axford ?

Eric Karabell
  (3:26 PM)

In a vaccuum no, because closers are not as valuable as good starting pitchers, never. I don't know what your pitching situation is, though, but in general, I'd want Kennedy. Closers are not 5 category pitchers in general, and certainly Ax is not.

Dan (Detroit)

Trade help EK... Bautista and Moreland for Miguel Cabrera and Choo.

Eric Karabell
  (3:27 PM)

Two top 10 players for a top 40 outfielder and a good, but not close to top 100 1B/OF. Sorry, gotta go with Cabrera-Choo here, because even though JoeyBats might be the best player in fantasy, I think I ranked Miggy like third.

Joel (Philly)

Quick one... Hosmer or Helton rest of the way, 5x5 H2H format. Thanks

Eric Karabell
  (3:28 PM)

I take Hosmer. He's legit, and doesn't need to sit every third game for a bad back.

Jay (DC)

Would you rather have Pagen, Jennings or Willie Bloomquist for your 4th OF the rest of the year (assuming Jennings is up in two weeks)?

Eric Karabell
  (3:28 PM)

Angel Pagan easily. Jennings is unproven, and Fast Willie does not belong in this group at all. Look at Pagan last two seasons, very good, and if he is healthy...

john (Det)

B. Roberts or S. Fuld droppable at this point?

Eric Karabell
  (3:29 PM)

Sure, but I would try to keep Roberts owned. Second base is not deep. Fuld has pretty much run outta time.

Handy (CT)

Having said that would you trade McGehee to get Hosmer if you needed 1B help?

Eric Karabell
  (3:29 PM)

I would. I really do trust Hosmer, not as a top 10 1B, but he's in my top 15 now.

spencer (philly)

Hey eric, I know this is mostly baseball, but got a fantasy football question. Im in a 16 team $250 salary cap, ppr. How much should I be offering for top rbs and wrs? Just trying to gauge this. A response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Eric Karabell
  (3:32 PM)

Not a problem. We all hope they play, and it's a year round fantasy sport now. I don't have an exact number for you, because I never have one. No, really. I don't go into any draft in any sport saying $180 for offense and $80 for pitchers... I do try for balance though, and in football I can say I make sure I have a nice starting lineup, which generally means no depth. But if you're gonna win, aim high, stack the lineup, because we all need health anyway. In general, I will spend $200 on RB/WR, perhaps $20-25 at QB (not Rodgers, Brady, Peyton obviously) and then steal a bench.

Richard (NY)

Eric, in a vacuum, would you drop Miguel Montero for JP Arencibia?

Eric Karabell
  (3:32 PM)

No, I can't say I would. I don't know if JP will hit about .240 this season. I'm pretty sure this is not an issue for MM.

Brian (WINDY CITY)

Hey Eric, would you use a waiver wire claim on Grady Sizemore or are you concerned about his injury? If so, which of these OFs would you drop for him (Torii Hunter, Nick Markakis, or Rajai Davis)

Eric Karabell
  (3:34 PM)

I wouldn't drop any of those guys for Grady, sorry. Too risky on the health front, and not only that, he doesn't run and should be a batting average liability unless he takes an occasional walk. Davis might steal 50, Markakis should hit close to .300 and surely be durable and Hunter will be fine.

Robert (Dallas)

EK, you starting Cueto today vs. PHI? What about Peavy vs. TX?

Eric Karabell
  (3:34 PM)

Would be a bit leery about Cueto, since the Phils have a different offense than even last week, and Cueto I believe was the one that started in Philly a few years ago and didn't make it out of the first inning. I doubt he forgot. Peavy I would start anywhere right now.

Josh (Hartford)

In leagues with innings caps, do you worry about the projected innings this early in the season? I'm projected to be about 30 over. I figure that'll even out over the course of the next few months.

Eric Karabell
  (3:35 PM)

No. I don't worry about that yet. In July I would cut back a start per week but that's easier to do when we have more information about who is good, which teams actually do hit, ballparks, etc.

Marty (MS)

Just traded Ryan Howard for Adam Lind, dumb move?

Eric Karabell
  (3:35 PM)

Well, I am not the biggest Howard fan - real or fantasy - but I can't say I would have made that deal. Not even close.

Matt (Seattle)

EK, is Matt Joyce a good sell high option right now or is his recent run legit and sustainable?

Eric Karabell
  (3:36 PM)

I doubt he hits .350 all year, but the power against RHP has always been legit. He's a very nice platoon outfielder and should hit .300.

kevin (nj)

rank ROS: ludwick, francouer, ibanez

Eric Karabell
  (3:37 PM)

Not much of a fan of any, but I would go Ludwick, Ibanez, Frenchy. I realize what current numbers are, but so what.

Richard (NY)

EK, I dealt Brantley and D. Lowe for Jayson Werth. Smart move for the balance of the season?

Eric Karabell
  (3:38 PM)

Yes, love it. Exactly the type of move to make with a hitter probably overachieving a bit, and you get the best player, someone that will be fine. Werth is better than Brantley, and Lowe is not a special fantasy option, barely rosterable in 10-team leagues.

Goonga (Ithaca)

EK, who would you hold onto: Madison Bumgarner or Bartolo Colon?

Eric Karabell
  (3:38 PM)

Really? OK, I guess to some that question is wholly legit... I take the young, slim lefty. I do think Colon is somewhat legit, and should win games, but Bumgarner is going to be better.

Jake (Conroe, TX)

Dan Uggla!!! What's wrong with that cat?!

Eric Karabell
  (3:39 PM)

I've heard a lot of stories here, but at some point I expect he will hit enough to make us happy. This is a 30-HR guy.

Roid Ragers (Los Angeles)

I traded James Shields for Phil Hughes early in the season... Can you please put me out of my misery?

Eric Karabell
  (3:40 PM)

Ouch. The pending Cy Young winner for a guy that might not pitch for another two months... ouch again. Shields on pace for 252 strikeouts... and I believe it actually. Comparisons to the Greinke Cy Young year statistically.

Matt ("Work")

T.Hudson was just dropped in my league....is he worth #1 waiver priority?

Eric Karabell
  (3:41 PM)

50/50 he goes on the DL by the weekend, so I'd be careful there. Depends how much you need SP, really.

Joe (Baltimore)

Having said that , Greinke or Shields the rest of the way?

Eric Karabell
  (3:41 PM)

Gotta say Shields. Perhaps each is a top 10 option, but I really am buying what Shields is selling. Greinke should be fine too.

Jordan (Peoria)

Talk to me about Ryan Roberts...I play in a 12 team H2H league and we use OBP instead of AVG....Roberts is my 2B and despite my best efforts I cannot trade so far for an upgrade. Can he keep this up?

Eric Karabell
  (3:42 PM)

No, I cannot see him keeping this up, but he has some pop and could be a double double guy in power and speed. I just doubt he hits above .270, and his playing time could be in jeopardy.

Dennis (NY)

15 team league- your thoughts on chris denorfia?

Eric Karabell
  (3:43 PM)

Now that Will Venable has been demoted - who saw that coming? - I can make the case for Denorfia in a 12-teamer. Could go 12-12 in hr and sb, just am not sure yet if he can adjust when pitchers do. He's never really had a legit shot.

Andrew (Toronto)

EK,Who do you prefer between Kyle McClellan and Ervin Santana?

Eric Karabell
  (3:44 PM)

Santana, but that does not imply that McClellan can't keep this up. I bought into McClellan in March, have him everywhere. I don't think he has an innings cap, either. CJ Wilson didn't.

Bill (Philly)

Great pace in this chat!! Getting back (briefly) to the Asdrubal vein of questioning... I traded Asdrubal for Votto. Even if I need to use Furcal at SS and Votto at Util (already have Prince), that's a trade I make every day, right?

Eric Karabell
  (3:44 PM)

Every day and twice on Tuesday. Great trade. Hey, I like Cabrera, but that's just crazy value there.

Joey Bats (Toronto)

What does my line look like the rest of the year?

Eric Karabell
  (3:45 PM)

I take the under on him hitting .370 all season, but why can't he hit .300 from here on out? He walks a ton, swings at the right pitches... he finishes at 52 HR, 116 RBIs, .310. MVP!!!!

Jeff (Queens)

Isn't it beyond the pale for Wilpon to call David Wright average, when it is the horrendous ballpark that Wilpon insisted on building that has hurt Wright's career? He was absolutely a superstar a couple of seasons ago.

Eric Karabell
  (3:46 PM)

I don't buy that either. Wright can overcome the ballpark. And it's a nice ballpark, just a bit large to produce a lot of runs. Wright is a star. Hoping he gets healthy.

Lloyd (Flourtown)

Hi EK - Another Hosmer question. Drop Carlos Lee for him? Thanks so much.

Eric Karabell
  (3:46 PM)

Absolutely. I would.

Mike (San Diego)

Where do I find these people that trade Votto for A.Cabrera? Are there message boards? Support groups?

Eric Karabell
  (3:47 PM)

I gotta admit, I can't see that happening in one of my leagues, but it's a bit of a different clientele. Crazy things happen in leagues, so go with the flow...

Joe (FL)

Would you trade stanton to get haren?

Eric Karabell
  (3:47 PM)

Seems fair. If I needed an ace, sure.

Tyler (VT)

RE: Wilpon, not only is the guy wrong, but he ruined any trade value that Wright or Reyes would have had if delt. The guy knows how to ruin a team

Eric Karabell
  (3:48 PM)

I don't buy that either. His comments were so off the wall that I doubt another team's GM takes them seriously. For example, when the Giants decide they can't win without a shortstop, they couldn't care less what the Mets owner said about Reyes. I don't think any trade value was ruined. Each team's management thinks they know better, and they don't care what ol' Wilpon thinks. Mets fans should support the team regardless.

kevin (nj)

do you believe in michael pineda the rest of the way?

Eric Karabell
  (3:49 PM)

That's you AL Rookie of the Year winner. Totally legit, and even if he loses 4 or 5 starts in the final 4 months, buy him.

Cole Hamels (Philly)

I'm top 10 by now, right?

Eric Karabell
  (3:49 PM)

I think I had him at No. 10 in our mid-May rankings last week.

Dave (Detroit)

Hardy or Nishioka the rest of the way, thin at SS...

Eric Karabell
  (3:50 PM)

Tough one. Can't really rely on an unproven foreign player that broke his leg. He might be fine, but he didn't look so hot the first few weeks. Have to go Hardy and hope for 15 home runs.

Sean (NY)

Joe Mauer makes his big league return ______

Eric Karabell
  (3:50 PM)

In 3 weeks. And he hits .315 the rest of the season, though not with much power.

Joe (Ny)

Aviles or Barney for 2b?

Eric Karabell
  (3:51 PM)

Aviles. There was little to suggest Barney would do this, and sustain it.

Jaime Garcia (St. Louis)

After I win the Cy Young, will people at least rank me in the top 20 for SP?

Eric Karabell
  (3:51 PM)

Yes they will! And hey, Garcia was supposed to regress some by every measure, and he isn't. Nice story here.

Bill (Philly)

Asdrubal for Votto happened in a "stealer league" where the weekly winner of the H2H matchup can "steal" a player from the other team in exchange for a player of his who met some statistical benchmarks for the week. It's a bit more complicated than that (we have protected "franchise players" for example) but that's the basic premise... Crazy fun format that I play in all sports...

Eric Karabell
  (3:52 PM)

Oooh, that is fun. I'd play that one!

Matt (Seattle)

EK, is it worth keeping Brandon Beachy stashed on the DL while the rest of my team is healthy? I was loving the production he was having before he got hurt...

Eric Karabell
  (3:52 PM)

Yes, I think Beachy is legit and when he returns in a few weeks, you will want him active.

Keith (CT)

Are you a believer in Morton?

Eric Karabell
  (3:54 PM)

I think it will be very difficult for someone with a 26-29 W-K ratio to keep doing this, and I've never seen a starting pitcher keep a 77 percent ground ball rate all year. So no, not to this degree can I buy in. Can he have an ERA of 4 the rest of the way, be a Jake Westbrook type? Yes. He can.

Eddie (Hoboken, NJ)

Does anyone care if a catcher doesn't hit for power if he hits over .300? Wasn't Chacin supposed to start today? Why is De La Rosa in there?

Eric Karabell
  (3:54 PM)

Double header today, correct? And so few catchers hit .300, you gotta buy it. And Mauer always hits for average.

Bob (GA)

2nd half most saves - Lidge or Madson?

Eric Karabell
  (3:55 PM)

Madson is keeping this job. Lidge is a seventh-inning guy soon.

Mike (San Diego)

Re: Bill in Philly's response, what's the craziest rule in place in any of your leagues?

Eric Karabell
  (3:56 PM)

Well, I have a league in which we use auction prices in a draft format, open free agency and the current free agents include some high priced top players, like CC and A-Rod for example... it's tough to get the cheap players.

Mat (Los Angeles)

Fernando Salas a must-have at this point?

Eric Karabell
  (3:56 PM)

He is closing for a first place team. I don't think he finishes the year doing so, but any closer on a good team has to be owned.

Ted Lilly (Currently in Houston)

I see that Tristan has ranked me above Kuroda in this weeks 60'6"... While I'm honored, I have to quote the Pet Shop Boys: what have I done to deserve this?

Eric Karabell
  (3:57 PM)

You're quoting the Pet Shop Boys? Oh my. And I posted it? OH MY! I'd go Lilly over Kuroda, too. Bigger K guy, same home park.

Mike (NJ)

Any new pitchers regaining the closer roll that's under the radar right now?

Eric Karabell
  (3:58 PM)

Andrew Bailey any day now, especially now that Brian Fuentes can kiss save opps good bye for awhile.

Brian (NYC)

Dom Brown worth owning in a 10 team keeper?

Eric Karabell
  (3:58 PM)

Barely yes.

Dave (CT)

ERIK BEDARD.....do you believe???

Eric Karabell
  (3:58 PM)

Don't stop believing.

Brian (Tempe)

BUZZER BEATER??? Would you rather have Owsalt or Loshe??

Eric Karabell
  (3:59 PM)

Roy Oswalt.

Tim (Indy)

Come on EK...clock is ticking...just need a name....LoMo or Werth...tonight

Eric Karabell
  (3:59 PM)

Tough pitching matchup for LoMo, tough park. Go Werth.

Adam (LA)

Better prospect for this year...Belt or Moustakas?

Eric Karabell
  (3:59 PM)

Belt, definitely.

Robert (Dallas)

Rank'em...Thome, Helton, Smoak.

Eric Karabell
  (3:59 PM)

Smoak, Thome, Helton.

Eric Karabell
  (4:00 PM)

OK, that is about all the time we've got for today, so thank you so much for showing up and sending thousands of questions. I had fun. Have a great day, enjoy your baseball and look for the next chat tomorrow. Adios!
