Chat with Ohm Youngmisuk

Ohm
  (2:02 PM)

Wud up guys. Can't wait to hear from all my Univ. of Michigan Sparty haters today!

Anton (NJ)

what do you think of linval Joseph so far?

Ohm
  (2:03 PM)

You know, he hasn't really stood out and made any big plays but I don't think he's been a disappointment either. I think he has been solid inside. It's his first year starting so we have to have some patience with him. But the Giants do need to do a better job of stopping the run and that is on everyone up front as well.

Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)

Do you think that the New York Giants needs a Running Back in the 2012 NFL Draft since their rushing is Terrible this season?

Ohm
  (2:04 PM)

I don't think they need to go out and draft a running back high. I think Bradshaw is still young and they just committed money to him. So no. They can draft a running back in the late rounds like Da'Rel Scott. I think they need to improve their blocking.

EUGENE (PA)

Hey Ohmie, I can't wait to hear from the Michigan fans this week .Where are they? Go Spartans!!!

Ohm
  (2:05 PM)

They and the Badgers fans are saying their Hail Marys.

Pete (MI)

Sparty still sucks.

Ohm
  (2:05 PM)

Oh, there we go. Give Pete credit. He still shows up after losing four years in a row to State.

Vinh (NoVA)

If MSU beats Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin then Nebraska in a row, don't we deserve the Big Ten Title immediately? No need to play the rest of the season or have the title game. Go Green!

Ohm
  (2:07 PM)

Nah Vinh... I actually don't think MSU will win the Big Ten this year. I still think Wisconsin will win it. I predicted Nebraska or Wisconsin. And to tell you the truth, I know I am being negative here but gun to my head, I think MSU loses at Nebraska this Saturday. That is an awfully tough place to play. And if MSU gets to the Big Ten title game, playing Wisconsin again on a neutral site is going to be really really hard.

Rachel (Hattiesburg)

Ohm! Cruz didn't do much in his last game. Is he worth owning in the future? Oh, Sparty doesn't suck. What a play!

Ohm
  (2:08 PM)

Hi Rachel! I've got a Sparty fan in Hattiesburg! Love it. I would definitely say hold onto Cruz. Figuring out when to play him will be a bit tougher if everyone is healthy. But hold on to him now. And yes, that play was insane. You just never think that a play like that is going to happen and go your way even though you see it come close so many times.

James Ambert ( New York city) [via mobile]

How much of an impact do you see the Prince helping out our secondary and defense the remaining of this year?

Ohm
  (2:10 PM)

Hard to tell James. He is so behind. And remember, still a rookie. First, let's start with his health. He is cutting well and backpedaling well. But he has to learn the defense, the schemes, cover pro receivers for the first time and recognize things. I would say to have a lot of patience with him. I envision him coming in on passing situations as the extra DB sometimes and help covering in the slot perhaps. But the Giants trust their three safeties and if Perry doesn't trust a rookie, he could go with Deon Grant more.

pat jtown [via mobile]

Hey ohm. Funniest character in tv right now is...? I think its tom from parks and rec baby

Ohm
  (2:11 PM)

That's funny because I just watched Parks and Rec for the first time on my flight from California on Sunday. I'm a Family Guy fan so the funniest baby to me is Stewie. You guys like Family Guy? Btw, I got caught up on my Jersey Shore last week too! Oh, and what happened in Dancing With the Stars last night, anyone?

Jake (Largo MD)

Do you think the GMEN can get to the playoffs with that murderous secnd half schedule?

Ohm
  (2:13 PM)

Jake, I wrote a column that will be up later today on how this Sunday is a must-win vs Miami basically with their murderous sked. Let's just for argument's sake give them a win this Sunday... that gives them 5 wins. To match last year's record, they would need to win five more. Which ones do you have them winning out of @NE, @SF, PHI, @NO, GB, @DAL, WAS, @Jets, DAL. I predicted 10 wins so I will stick with that. And like last year, 10 wins will be borderline getting in. Winning the NFC East is paramount.

Billy (Columbia MD)

I live around nothing but Raven and Redskin fans who every year think they will win the Big One and then the obvious occurs. Do you think the Giants can win a Super Bowl before these teams in the near future

Ohm
  (2:15 PM)

Billy, I grew up in Silver Spring, MD. So I know what you are talking about. LOL. I think of those two teams, the Ravens have the best shot in the future at competing for a Super Bowl. Redskins are a mess. They are getting better, though. But man, Giants fans want to complain about injuries but look what happened to the Redskins on Sunday. I think the Giants have as much of a chance of winning the SB in the future as the Ravens, perhaps better because they have younger players and a better QB.

Randy (Tha Dimas)

Where all those Wolverine fans Now!!!! Go Sparta!!!!!!!

Ohm
  (2:15 PM)

Randy, all we have is Pete so far. I am sure there will be more brave ones to come out soon.

Drew ((NY))

I c ur Spartans r just destroying everything in sight (not including my Irish). U must b pretty pumped

Ohm
  (2:16 PM)

Thanks Drew. Well, I wouldn't say "destroying." They've been winning close games and doing what they have to, to win. They still got flaws but I'm not complaining. Saturday's game was incredible. Still in shock.

Chris (NY)

What's up Ohm. Do you think this next game against Miami would be considered a trap game. Given what happened with the Seahawks, i'm a little concerned

Ohm
  (2:17 PM)

Yes. But I think it's more really a scary game than trap game. The Giants aren't overlooking Miami. But Miami is desperate and look what Jax did to Baltimore last night? Any team can win. Giants must win this game if they want to make the playoffs because of their remaining schedule.

Ryan (NY)

Are you still hungover from all the partying you must have done after the Sparty game Saturday night? Wow, what a finish

Ohm
  (2:18 PM)

Still in shock, for sure. Didn't do much partying. Just stood there shocked. Even when I watch the replay, I'm shocked.

Ryan (NY)

And let me help you out Ohm... everybody: Ohm predicted the Giants to win 10 games before the year started and he's sticking with it.

Ohm
  (2:18 PM)

Yup, yup as Teddy Riley would say.

Joe (Glen Cove, NY)

Hi Ohm. At this point I see the Giants going anywhere from 3-7 to 7-3 in the final 10 games of the year. What do you think will win the division? I say 10 wins with a division tie-breaker as the winner because I think Dallas will continue to get better and they have the easiest schedule left.

Ohm
  (2:20 PM)

Joe... 7-3? Whoa! I don't know about all that. But then again, anything could happen, people get hurt, etc. I think the Giants will steal one that nobody expects them to. Maybe even two. The key is that they can't lose the games they are supposed to win ie: Miami, I'm going to put Washington in this too. Ten wins very well could take the NFC East. I think Dallas' sked gets easier. And I am DEFINITELY not counting Philly out.

Conner Hurley (South Orange, NJ)

Can we expect Prince to play against Miami

Ohm
  (2:20 PM)

I wouldn't use the word "expect." More like hope. He could very well be a week away.

Matty B (Hoboken)

Ohm... this question is more of a direct reply to Graziano's chat earlier. In response to a question about Eli being a Top 5 QB right now he answered "Top 5? No. Top 10? Maybe."First of all, Eli is definitely a Top 10 QB right now, and with Peyton out this year, you can make the argument that he is in the Top 5. Right now, I would only put Rodgers, Brady, and Brees as QB's clearly ahead of him. To me, the way Rivers handled that last drive against the Jets automatically excludes him. That was pathetic, and his INT's cost the Chargers the game. Vick, for all his talent has never won anything and is injury prone. Romo can't be trusted late in games, and he too has missed time with injury. Flacco has a 50% completion percentage. Matt Ryan and Shaub have never won anything in their careers. Young guys like Stafford, Newton, and Freeman haven't proven themselves yet, and Freeman has taken a step back this year. Eli's INT's last year were the exception to the rule. Truth is, since 2007 Eli has been a Top 10 QB. And against the Dolphins on Sunday and to lead the Giants the rest of the season, I would pick Eli 5th behind Rodgers, Brady, Manning, and Ben (love his toughness, respect his rings). Vick would be 6th because he is an injury risk and has been turnover prone this year. Tag Graziano's twitter in your response! I would love to hear his response to this.

Ohm
  (2:23 PM)

That is way too long of a question but here we go: Eli is playing like a fringe top-5 QB right now. Yes. But he was doing the same last year around this time. Let's wait until the end of the year. Remember, he threw like 17 INTs after Week 7 last year. Let's hold off on this argument right now.

Steve (Queens, NY)

Whats good Ohm?Looking at the terrible show they called a game yesterday, you forget what a good pass rush and pressure can do to a good qb (Flacco, +SB reference here) over an entire game. I think with solid back end play, the gmen can hang with GB, NE and NO. Thoughts?

Ohm
  (2:24 PM)

With a healthy Tuck, JPP and Osi, yes, they can hang with anybody as long as that pass rush is effective. Eli can air it out too. Believe me, as bad as the Giants can look (hello Seattle), they can play up a few notches as well. Always been their M.0. I believe they are going to steal at least one that few gave them a chance in.

Primo (New York, NY)

What is the status of Prince Amukamara? Is he practicing in full? Any setbacks?

Ohm
  (2:24 PM)

He practiced limited on Monday. Giants taking it slow. No word of setback. We find out on Wednesday.

Mike (DC)

Ohmie the Homie what's good..... I'm loving J Ballards performance, but where's Bear Pascoe? Haven't seen him all year. And your thoughts on the Prince being a contributor on D

Ohm
  (2:25 PM)

Pascoe is used mostly as a blocker. He's played but comes in and blocks. He also filled in for Hynoski at FB in the last game when Bradshaw went off. As for Prince, answered that earlier below...

Richard Shames (Ny)

With prince healthy how long until you think he becomes a factor as our nickel corner? deon grant is lost playing on a island out there in the secondary and is better suited closer to the line! WE NEED OUR PRINCE!!

Ohm
  (2:26 PM)

Richard, answered this earlier but I like to try to get as many of your questions in as possible. Gotta be patient with Prince. Could be a difficult transition. And when the Giants schedule gets rough, I have a feeling coaching staff may lean more on a vet like Deon unless Prince stands out.

Anthony (NJ)

do you think Beatty will be a main stay at LT or do you think the giants will try to upgrade in the offseason?

Ohm
  (2:27 PM)

Depends on how the rest of the season goes. I think they like his potential. But I do think the Giants need to grab another OL in the draft.

Jared (Brooklyn)

What does Osi's future look like with the Giants? Do they sign him to an extension or trade him because the relationship beyond repair?

Ohm
  (2:28 PM)

Who knows... we have to see how this season shakes out. Bottom line, if Osi doesn't get the money he wants, we could go through all the drama again. Trade could make sense since JPP is waiting in the wings.

Jonathan (Grand Prairie )

Will ramses barden be active for the game against Miami? if so how much of an impact will he make

Ohm
  (2:29 PM)

Gun to my head, I think the Giants wait another week or so. They don't need to activate him for three weeks. Why not let him keep practicing and then bring him in?

Bryan (New Jersey)

What do the giants have to do in order to make the playoffs with their brutal schedule after the bye week?

Ohm
  (2:30 PM)

They got to take care of the games they are favored to win like Sunday and steal one or two games they are not expected to win. And stay healthy.

craig (ny)

Starting to think that christmas eve game is going to mean a lot to both of these teams

Ohm
  (2:31 PM)

Craig, I don't remember who it was in the chat that said that the Jets would be done by Christmas Eve. But let me say this, I think that game is going to be HUGE for both teams fighting for a playoff spot in their conferences.

Mike (NY)

Ohm, hate to say it but the Giants are an 8 win team at best with their schedule and play so far this year. Could easily have lost to both Buffalo and Arizona

Ohm
  (2:31 PM)

This is true about Buffalo and Arizona. I won't argue there. But they won and that says something about them. Just hope that they keep getting better, if you are a Giants fan that is.

Derrick (Indiana)

What do you think ends up happening with Ramses Barden? Is he ever going to be a viable contributor to the Giants or any other team?

Ohm
  (2:32 PM)

Whenever he is activated, I think you may see him sparingly, perhaps in red zone. But he would need an injury to one of the receivers ahead of him to really get a chance and the snaps to make a big impact.

Leon (Long Island, NY)

Prince Update!!

Ohm
  (2:33 PM)

I Sent It Earlier!! Hope That Helps!!

Ed (Rockland Cty)

Ohm...With the return of Tuck looming, what should we expect to see regarding Kiwanuka's production? Also, is the corner known as Prince close?

Ohm
  (2:34 PM)

I think you will still see a rotation of Tuck, JPP, Osi, Kiwi and Tollefson. And on third and longs, all four DE's on the line. Kiwi can still rush from his LB position as well.

Anthony (DC)

Are there any updates on Chad Jones? Do you think he will get a fair shot trying to make the roster?

Ohm
  (2:35 PM)

He ran a 40 a few weeks ago. I think it was like a 4.8 or something. Can't completely remember but bottom line is, he ran a 40 just over a year after the crash. He hopes to make his comeback at next year's training camp and the Giants, being the classy organization that they are, will give him a shot.

Ohm
  (2:35 PM)

That would be my expectation.

Chris (Dallas)

Why do the Giants need to be known as a run first team? Just because successful Giants teams of the past have run well doesn't mean that philosophy is set in stone. The Giants are paying Eli a lot of money to throw the ball and he has some really good recievers, its a pass first league, and I don't wanna hear that cold weather stuff cause the Pats have been doing it for years.

Ohm
  (2:37 PM)

Because Tom Coughlin's philosophy is to run the ball. And the stats have shown that when he has a 100-yard rusher, Coughlin's teams do well. Also, Eli is very good off play-action. It's just better that they are a more balanced team. For so many reasons, running the ball helps, not to mention helps keep these other explosive offenses and QBs they will face like Brady, Brees and Rodgers off the field.

Primo (New York, NY)

How is Justin Tucks neck? And will he get the "ok" to start vs the Dolphins? or should he sit out until the Giants face the Patriots the following week?

Ohm
  (2:38 PM)

I think he will play. No official word yet. He has already been out a month. But if he needs one more game, then he needs one more game. I wouldn't say, let's rest him this week because it's the Dolphins. They need every win they can get.

Brian (NY)

What do the Giants need to do to win @ NE?

Ohm
  (2:38 PM)

Get pressure, massive pressure, on Brady. Eli has to be efficient and not turn the ball over. Stopping the run will help a lot as well.

Joe (Glen Cove, NY)

Ohm did you go to school with Plax? If so, how was he on campus

Ohm
  (2:39 PM)

I'm older than Plax. Graduated in 95. When I was in school, Derrick Mason and Muhsin Muhammad were the WRs there.

Ed (Rockland Cty)

Re: Rachel's question..Is Ramses going to steal Cruz's thunder?

Ohm
  (2:40 PM)

I don't think so. If you are asking me if Ramses will take more snaps from Cruz, I don't see that happening. Still think VC is third WR. Ramses will need an injury for him to get a lot of snaps.

Mark (DC)

9 wins will win the NFC East this year. Dallas is awful, Philly is a mess, and Washington is the worst of the group. Giants will go 9-7 and get in by default

Ohm
  (2:41 PM)

Es posible Mark. But I still expect it to be one heck of a battle. Giants play Cowboys two times in four weeks. And the Eagles are not going to lay down.

Matt (MD)

What do you think of the job Perry Fewell has done so far? Personally, I think he needs to start calling a lot more blitzes and stop playing so much zone.

Ohm
  (2:42 PM)

Honestly, Giants have struggled on defense. The run has gashed them and the no-huddle has hurt them. I think losing Goff and Thomas, two guys Perry trusted, has hurt. Cofield leaving hurts too. Blitzing leaves the corners alone or the safeties on receivers. But I think you will see your fair share of blitzes vs Brady, Brees, Vick and Rodgers.

Hans (Lexington, KY)

Do you think Eli will continue to play great or not?

Ohm
  (2:43 PM)

Hans, as Justin Tuck told reporters on Monday about how much all these injured players returning will help, "I'm not psychic." I have no idea. I think Eli will put up numbers because he has to in order for the Giants to hang with NE, GB, NO and PHI in the next few weeks. The real question is: how many INTs will he throw?

Brian (NY)

When Prince Amukamara is healthy does he become a starter right away? Any word on him for the MIA game?

Ohm
  (2:44 PM)

Don't see him starting over Webster or Ross. He may cover slot guys and let Rolle move back to safety.

Ohm
  (2:44 PM)

On those third-and-longs instead of covering the slot guy... (ie: Rolle).

Ohm's Mom (Home)

Son, did you intend to hang up on me the other day on purpose? Are you now a Jets PR person?

Ohm
  (2:45 PM)

Nah, I never hang up on people. That is a pet-peeve of mine.

RJ (NY)

Another season of Jersey Shore over with Ohm, and it was a letdown. What would you do for season 5? Put the cast in Alaska?

Ohm
  (2:46 PM)

It is starting to get tired. Need another character to spice things up. But I do love Sammi. LOL!

Nick (VA)

Just because we're playing the Dolphins, doesn't mean we don't have to worry (remember the Seahawks). What do the Giants need to do to secure a win on Sunday?

Ohm
  (2:46 PM)

Come on Nick, you know the answer to this: No turnovers, find a way to stop the run, get pressure on the QB and don't beat yourself. LOL.

Rahul (NYC)

who has more sacks from now on this year Osi,JPP, Tuck

Ohm
  (2:47 PM)

Geez, that's like asking me who is going to win Miss USA? LOL. Just a pure guess here... I think it's JPP or Osi.

Ed (NY)

Ohm, which is more critical for the G-Men headed into the second half: The return of Jacobs to the offense or the return of Tuck for the Defense?

Ohm
  (2:48 PM)

Tuckster.

Ian (NY)

Help me on fantasy here Ohm.....Got Freddie Jack and Ray Rice as RB's...ROddy White is on a bye..is Torain a good flex play (burned the past two weeks in a row)

Ohm
  (2:49 PM)

I think the odds are better now for Torain with Hightower out. But still a measure of risk. Who else is available on your waiver wire? I would say that Torain is probably better than anybody on your wire unless DeMarco Murray is still there.

Andrew (Ann Arbor)

#*$&ing Sparty.... You must be on cloud nine.

Ohm
  (2:49 PM)

I'm like a head coach. I started worrying about Nebraska soon after the Hail Mary. LOL.

Ryan (Va Beach)

Ohm - any chance Ramses gets some looks at TE since Beckham is so terrible?

Ohm
  (2:50 PM)

That would be interesting but doubt it.

Andrew (Ann Arbor)

What is JPP's role when Tuck returns?

Ohm
  (2:50 PM)

He'll rotate in for Tuck and Osi.

Ohm
  (2:50 PM)

And can play with them as well depending on situation.

RJ (NY)

How's your fantasy team doing?

Ohm
  (2:52 PM)

Thanks for asking. In three leagues, won in all three this week but every week is a battle. In competitive leagues. I'm 3-4 in a 10-team league where I started 0-3. I am 4-2-1 in a 12-team league waiting for Andre Johnson to return and 3-3-1 in a 20-team league where I have the highest-scoring team but also have the most points scored against. Sigh.

Mike (DC)

obviously the fans are worry about the D, specifically the secondary. Can they slow down teams like GB and NO enough for the GMEN to win big late in the season.......

Ohm
  (2:52 PM)

Mike, if you are a Giants fan, hope for the pass rush to get to the QB in those games.

Devon (Long Island)

I was wondering about the idea of perhaps Brandon Jacobs becoming a tight end. It seems like he has the size and he has some pretty decent hands; I've seen him make some nice pass plays. Also, he has some speed because he's a running back and he can block ok, so I just want to hear your thoughts on the idea...

Ohm
  (2:53 PM)

Don't see it happening. They need him more at RB. And they don't really use their TE a ton anyways. Besides, Ballard is doing a good job so far.

Jon (NYC )

What ever happened to Jay Alford? He was supposed to break out last year before his season ending injury. Is he even on the roster?

Ohm
  (2:54 PM)

Jay was released prior to last season and I think picked up by Oakland.

Chris (Giants Land, NJ)

Ohm, do you feel that Williams and Jones are the answer for the Giants at LB into the future?

Ohm
  (2:55 PM)

They certainly are promising. Greg is a hard hard worker. He is very good at stopping run. Staying on the field vs pass is tough. Williams' speed is terrific and he should only get better. I think the Giants like their young LBs a lot, including Herzlich and Paysinger. But they do need to get better at LB to get back to playing 4-3.

Gil (Nj)

THE U!!!

Ohm
  (2:55 PM)

Gil, I actually grew up a University of Miami fan. So I'll always give the U love.

Kevin Marzolla (NYC)

Ohm, I know Tom preaches talking a game by game approach as any team should and will say. But Please let me know if you agree with my projection of the remainign 10 game schedule to reach the playoffs. I project that they need to go 3-1 in the remaining NFC east games especially with 3 of the 4 at home. Must Win obv against MIA.VERY Winnable @SF and @NYJ. House money games at @NE @NO GB. Therefore @SF and @NYJ are going to be critical victories in determing making playoffs. Thoughts?

Ohm
  (2:57 PM)

Kevin... I would say must beat Miami. SF is no pushover but of their road games coming up, they have a better chance winning there than at NE or at NO. Beating the Jets will be difficult but they can do it. They got to beat Washington, win one of two vs Dallas and I would say that Philly game is critical because it puts distance between them and the Eagles.

Matty S (Hoboken)

What are the chances the Giants sign T.O once he is healthy enough to go?

Ohm
  (2:58 PM)

Just don't see that happening. They are just getting Barden back too.

Joe (Glen Cove)

Has 4-3 hurt the Giants in coverage the last few years. With a soild pass rush couldn't JPP play an olb like Mario Williams. I would Keep Tuck up front because he is a great all around end.

Ohm
  (2:59 PM)

I don't see them turning into a 3-4 team. You may see JPP stand up and rush from a rare time to time in an exotic look but otherwise don't see that happening on a full-time basis.

Phil (Newark, DE)

Do you think the giants will win at least 10 games this season?

Ohm
  (2:59 PM)

Hey guys, tell him what I think... LOL.

Dan D (STRONG Island)

So at this point in the season, who is New York's number 1 football team? That Christmas eve game is gonna mean a lot more than bragging rights

Ohm
  (3:00 PM)

Yup, yup. Playoff spots could be on the line.

Primo (New York, NY)

How you think Mark Herzlich is doing as LB? Do you think he's better than Jonathan Goff?

Ohm
  (3:01 PM)

Herzlich is strictly a special teams player right now. He is not better than Goff. If you are asking me down the road... who knows?

Benjamin (Concord)

Dude when you talk about the Spartans you waste our time and ESPNs money, they pay you to talk about the Giants

Ohm
  (3:02 PM)

It doesn't say anywhere in my contract that I can't talk anything other than Giants. This chat is for anyone who wants to ask me about plenty of things, such as Jersey Shore, old school rap, 80s, etc. And it just so happens that a lot of Big Ten people come to my chat.

Ben (Washington, DC)

Hey Ohm, would it be smart to put Prince on some of NE's TEs instead of their receivers? Their big and he's relatively tall for a CB and could keep up with them compared to their WRs.

Ohm
  (3:03 PM)

I don't think Prince is that tall actually. I think he'd be better suited to cover a WR. Rolle or Grant could cover the tight ends. But it is an interesting predicament what they will do with Hernandez.

Jon (NYC )

More of a comment then a question, but what are your thoughts on this? People underestimate just how important tuck is to this team. When 100% tuck is an all pro DE and not just because of his pass rushing. Im not going to say hes as good as strahan in either respect but you dont see teams running the ball at will on the giants like you have all season with tuck in there full force. Also I feel like the giants faded down the strecth the last two seasons because tuck has worn down, playing hurt late in the season.

Ohm
  (3:04 PM)

He's their defensive captain. They need him. He will give them a major boost even if he isn't 100 percent.

brian (ct)

Herzlich was a beast at UMass Catholic before he has his bout with cancer, and i believe at one point he was projected to be a first round pick. Does he have the potential to become a starter on this team, or is he a career special teamer?

Ohm
  (3:05 PM)

I think he has got potential, that is why the Giants kept him. I don't know how much the cancer robbed him of his skills and talent from before. But he has heart. And he has great size.

Evan (MI)

How's Greg Jones doing so far this season?

Ohm
  (3:06 PM)

He hasn't played a whole lot since the season opener. Basically, Giants go to a three-safety, two linebacker look with Jones on sideline to combat the pass and run.

John (NY)

What do you think about JPP so far this year? Pro Bowler? Does he still start when Tuck comes back?

Ohm
  (3:07 PM)

Possible Pro Bowler. Has exceeded everybody's expectations. I think Tuck and Osi will start and JPP sees plenty of action coming in.

Mat (Rockland, NY)

Notorious what do you think is the giants biggest issue regarding their special teams? Is it the coaching, the talent, scheme? Why is it soo bad?

Ohm
  (3:08 PM)

I actually think it's been much better than last year... the punting has been better with Weatherford. And the return game has been alright. Best thing you can say is the return coverage has not given up the big play this year.

Jon (NYC )

Ohm who selects the users questions for you to comment on? If you dont want to repeaditly answer price questions how about you find someone capable of reading unique comments instead of posting any old trash!

Ohm
  (3:09 PM)

Because I try to get people's questions in... some post a question and I want to give them a fair shake, even if I answered their question already. We're all one big family here.

brian (ct)

does it bother you that you big ten still sucks

Ohm
  (3:09 PM)

Nope, not one bit.

Brian (NY)

Do you see Tiki playing this season?

Ohm
  (3:10 PM)

At this point, no.

Benjamin (Concord)

If I'm not mistake it says Giants with Ohm on sports nation page? not chat with Ohm about old school rap and the big 10

Ohm
  (3:10 PM)

Nobody's forcing you to be in this chat Benjamin.

Lou (Irving, TX)

How would you rate Ross so far?

Ohm
  (3:11 PM)

Rocky start but I think he has gotten better as season has progressed. Biggest thing in my mind is staying healthy.

cg (NYC)

Do you think Giants 4 pass rushers are best ever D line...or can be ?its obvious they are best in NFL at this time....

Ohm
  (3:12 PM)

Let's wait for the whole season to be played before labeling...

RJ (NY)

If you were sandwiched in between Andy Reid and Rex Ryan on a plane, would you ask to switch seats or would you pick their brains for football knowledge?

Ohm
  (3:12 PM)

Are you kidding me? That would be best flight ever. I would totally pick their brains.

Snooki (Jersey Shore)

Sammi?? You love Sammi?? We're through Ohm. No more of this fine body for you

Ohm
  (3:13 PM)

Snooks, I still love ya.

Will (New York, NY)

Ohm, do you think Jerrel Jernigan has been a complete bust this year? I thought he would be a legit special teams returner due to his speed, but he looked disappointing during the preseason, and he has been almost nonexistent this season. Do you think he's been a complete bust?

Ohm
  (3:13 PM)

Can't label a rookie a bust. Gotta wait like three years at least.

matt (nj)

i asked you last time if you thought the gmen would make the playoffs and you said they have to upset a team that they are expected to lose. was one of those against the bills that we ultimately won?

Ohm
  (3:14 PM)

Matt, I had them beating the Bills when I predicted game by game on the schedule in April. Granted, the Bills are a lot better than any of us expected. But when I said that, I meant more like New England, New Orleans, Green Bay, those types of teams.

Benjamin (Concord)

That statement says to me you know I am right

Ohm
  (3:15 PM)

Again, I answer questions that people ask me. People ask me about the Giants, Michigan State, the Big Ten, fantasy football, 80s, 90s music, etc. If ya don't like it, nobody is forcing you to sit here and chat dude.

Rachel (Hattiesburg)

A Tribe Called Quest or E.P.M.D.? I don't like these people telling you how to run your chat.

Ohm
  (3:16 PM)

That's a tough one Rachel. I love both. But I'd lean Tribe just slightly over EPMD. How did you know I like both?

RJ (NY)

Ohm, keep the chat the same man... it's the perfect blend of sports, pop culture, random stuff... 99% of us in here love it

Ohm
  (3:16 PM)

Thanks. It's all good. I try to get to everybody and please everybody. Like I said, we're all one big fam.

Andrew (Allentown, PA)

Ohm, do you like what they've seen out of Hynoski so far this year? Do you think he's just a quick fix for a season or two or could he be the fullback for many years to come?

Ohm
  (3:17 PM)

I think he's been up and down as a rookie. I don't know quick fix but I think he could become that starter that you are talking about.

Brian (NJ)

Very excited for this weekend. Could be the first time all year we see, JPP, Tuck, and Osi on the field at the same time. Would love to see a set where those 4 and Kiwi are rushing the passer at the same time!

Ohm
  (3:17 PM)

Me too.

Mitchell (NY)

Do you see coughlin getting fired if the gmen dont make the playoffs?

Ohm
  (3:18 PM)

I think it would have to be another late collapse again.

Bill Cowher (CBS)

if the giants finish 8-8, which their schedule dictates, How good of a fit will my chin be for that defense once coughlin is fired?

Ohm
  (3:18 PM)

Still sticking to my prediction of 10 wins. Giants could easily go 8-8. But I'm sticking with the prediction.

Rachel (Hattiesburg)

Well, I recalled you mentioning ATCQ before and I went with a group I put on the same level. I love the 80's and 90's myself. A quick Jets question, did you see Plax get those 3 TD's? Is he worth an add now?

Ohm
  (3:19 PM)

Plax is available in your league? Yeah, I'd pick him up.

Bryan (LA)

From this point on now that all DEs are healthy, do you think the G-Men use that NASCAR defense?

Ohm
  (3:20 PM)

Bryan, they've actually been using all 4 DE's together with JPP, Osi, Tollefson and Kiwi on some passing downs. So yeah, I see it coming out with Tuck, Osi, JPP and Kiwanuka or Tollefson.

Batista (NY)

Ohm, if Eli beats Brady at New England in two weeks, he would have ended both Brady's 18-0 streak and the Patriots NFL record home winning streak. Think we can say Eli is officially Brady's kryptonite after that?

Ohm
  (3:21 PM)

Haha, that would be something. It certainly would feed more fire to the argument that Eli stirred when he said he feels he is in the same class as Brady.

Ohm
  (3:21 PM)

Alright guys, thanks for chatting. Went over an hour today. I'll talk to you guys next week and good luck with your fantasy teams and favorite sports teams this weekend!
