He everyone, welcome to this week's NFL@LA chat. We're live from the Conga Room today so let's get started.

Zygi (Minnesota)

What's up Arash, I was just wondering if the state of MN doesn't get the stadium bill by the end of the season lease on the Metrodome. Would my Vikings pay for another brief lease or would it mean pulling a Baltimore Colts move and load the moving truck for the move west?

I don't think the Vikings would move after this season. Farmers Field would not be ready to break ground until the Summer of 2012 and the Industry site still has to firm up its financing plan. Los Angeles should be in a position to welcome a team February 2013 but not in 2012.

What is the Worst NFL Team that played in Los Angeles?

I would say the Rams in that 1994 season before they moved were pretty depressing. Not only were they bad on the field but everyone knew early-on that they were on the way out once the season was over.

Robbie (Lindsey, CA)

So it looks like we r getting the Vikings. That's cool, AP should bring in alot of money, plus there are better hospitals here for Percy's Migranes

Well, the Vikings are are not a done deal to move here but they are certainly in the running. I think if they don't get a stadium by next year they would be one of the favorites to move to L.A. in 2013.

Jason (Riverside, CA)

Enjoyed all of your blogs, mail, and chat! Your recent blog was somewhat discouraging since I am very much looking forward to have NFL back in LA as soon as by next year! My question is, what are the chances and how can one of the teams move to LA by February 2012 if they desires to? Or are you telling us there is no chance at all?

Arash Markazi

I would say the odds of a team moving to Los Angeles by Feb. 2012 are remote at best. The stadium proposals are not in a place where a team would feel comfortable moving in a few months and plus the teams thinking about moving have to allow their current cities a chance to keep them. In the case of the Vikings and Chargers, that's waiting for the November 2012 elections. Now, if after that time, they don't get their stadium deals, both can leave and point to the voters and politicians and say they had no choice.

Mick (Riverside, CA)

If the NFL in LA is such a slam dunk then why do these developers need to get financing help from either the state or another NFL team/league? If it is that attractive why don't global investors want to get involved? Sidenote: The more I hear about these developers and their various tactics the slimier they become to me.

Well, the league offers financing programs for all teams building new NFL stadiums, so that's nothing new. Also both stadium proposals are not using public dollars for the stadium. Farmers Field is using some public dollars for the new convention center, which is owned by the city, and Grand Crossing is using public dollars for infrastructure, but none of that is for the actual stadium.

When is the soonest we'll hear about any teams leaving their city after this season?

Arash Markazi

I think by the end of November or December 2012 you'll start hearing things and by February 2013 a team will be in Los Angeles.

Zygi (Minnesota)

Well if L.A. wants a new team by 2013... won't the world have already come to an end?

Arash Markazi
  (4:16 PM)

Well, if we're still around, L.A. is getting a team. If not, well, it's been good knowing you Zygi.

Fred (La Mirada)

Arash, thanks for doing this chat. I know youve said you expect a team coming only in 2013. Can I get a current percent chance for all the teams to possibly come?

Arash Markazi
  (4:23 PM)

Thanks Fred. Well, as of now I'm going to say the chances of moving in 2013 are as follows: Chargers 60%, Raiders 40%, Vikings 39% and Rams 10%. Now the percentages of the Rams go up after 2014 when the Rams get out of their lease in St. Louis. I think the Rams will be the second team to move to L.A.

Sorry to cut the chat early but they're closing down the Conga Room after Pac-12 Media Day. Thanks for all your questions. I promise I'll get to all of them next week.
