Brian will be here soon, everyone1
Hi everyone, I'm enjoying my experiences here at ESPN. I'm seeing some of my favorite analysts and personalities, just enjoying my time here.
What are your thoughts about your alma mater (Villanova) trying to move up to FBS football? Do you think the school and its fans will be able to make it work?
Villanova's a great football program and they'll continue to get better. Obviously if they move to the Big East, they'll have to find a bigger stadium and raise some money. I think it's very doable for the school and very lucrative as well. They have some of the most talented guys in 1-AA football right now, but they definitely need a few more talented players.
Heads up, PHI or MIA this weekend
Miami's been playing some good football. I'm thinking with Michael Vick coming back this week, though, it'll spark the Eagles' offense, and they'll end up with a win.
Brian, what did you like most about playing in Philadelphia?
The most exciting thing was the atmosphere, the fans. Winning, going to the Super Bowl. Being able to compete in an environment that lended itself to winning. We had some great teams in Philly, but it was a family structure with that team, which was great. We won a lot of football games while I was there.
Wanted to know if he would be interested in sports commentating as a post NFL career. He has grown so much and has gotten really good with speaking in front of the camera about something he is passionate about. Very charismatic as well!
You never know what the future holds!
As we all know to win the Super Bowl you don't have to be a better team you have to be better one night. So if the Packers where to fall in the playoffs who would do it? And who would be the favor to win?
I think it'd be somebody from the AFC. Probably Baltimore, because of the style of defense they have. It'll present problems for teams in the playoffs. If they played the Packers, they could put pressure on Aaron Rodgers and hit him. Baltimore's offense with Ray Rice and Joe Flacco have been putting some pressure on defenses as well.
Brain, Do you have any pre-game rituals?
The only one that I have is that I like to listen to gospel a few hours before the game, and I pray a lot during that time. Then I listen to some hardcore rap just to get my mind right for the game.
Do you believe you can ever get back to the level you were at while playing in Philly?
As you get older, your skill diminishes. That's not just me, that's everybody. To be back where I was in my prime? Probably not. I can be in the same level for a few plays here and there, but definitely not for sixteen games playing seventy plays per game, at this point in my life.
Brian, what was your favorite memory from playing in your career?
I think making it to the Super Bowl is one of those things that you never forget as a player. That whole season was magical. Even though we did not win, that was definitely a great, great experience.
