Sorry folks, been a crazy-busy morning/afternoon. So let's try to get to some of these questions.
Any idea who the Bears will look for to replace Hurd?
It's a little too early to tell right now, Nathan. I wouldn't be surprised if they reached out to someone like Brian Iwuh as a potential special-teams contributor. But at the same time, they may need to bring in a receiver that can also contribute on special teams.
Do you think that the Chicago Bears will finsih with 7-9?
Chris, it sure appears like it's headed that direction. They've lost three in a row, man and Caleb Hanie hasn't displayed signs of significant improvment. He's gotten gradually gotten a little better, but not at the rate I'd feel comfortable about him in the next three games. Now they've also got this whole Sam Hurd arrest hanging over them when they didn't need any more distractions. I think it's gonna be extremely difficult for the Bears to win out.
Was there no way for Angelo to know that Sam Hurd was already under investigation when they signed him?
Nathan, I think they knew and I think they thought it would just go away.
Hey guys, Michael's computer crashed. Sorry for the delay.
